Reviews
Guests generally appreciate the staff's friendliness and the cleanliness of the hotel. However, there are frequent complaints about the lack of hot water and the outdated facilities. Some guests also express dissatisfaction with hidden fees and the pushy sales tactics for timeshares.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Clean rooms and facilities
- Lack of hot water
- Outdated facilities and need for repairs
- 5/5
Thanks. It been quite in the area. AC unit when on is too loud that I had to increase the TV volume. Hope outside wasn’t bothered by it.
- 3/5
The property needs a huge remodel. Everything is old and dirty.
- 5/5
Nice room and nice property at a nice price
- 1/5
This property needs a remodel. Everything is very old so it’s looking very dirty.
- 5/5
Room was spotless and so clean! Staff were friendly and so helpful! Pool was fantastic, very clean! Will definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
The room, kitchen, spa, exercises gym and access to a laundry room was a big plus.
- 5/5
Room was great and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Only thing I would mention is if you don't like noise ask for a room away from the pool area as it was extremely noisy all the way to 10pm.
- 4/5
Good value, very large proportions
- 5/5
Everything was great. The only negative was that the cleaning crew started banging on the door (x 3) an hour before checkout time.
- 5/5
We have stayed at the Villa Mirage many times over the years as part of our timeshare ownership and now through Expedia. The facility is ideally located near our family, the reason for our visits to Phoenix. The one bedroom unit is spacious and equipped for comfort and convenience. It allows us to feel at home while traveling.
- 2/5
Gas fireplace was nice,
- 4/5
Location was central. Liked that it was close to a major luxury resort property. I would have preferred a room/unit not so close to a major road.
- 4.5/5
The location , the pool and eatery was FABULOUS, Staff was amazing at bar and quick with needs and requests 10/10 The tax was a little insane
- 5/5
Would stay again
- 5/5
Leaving
- 5/5
We had to leave
- 4.5/5
Location in north Scottsdale
- 4/5
The poolside restaurant/bar is small for a property this large I guess being a vacation club with fully stocked kitchen, many fix their food and cocktails in their rooms. Single suites are spacious, studio not so much.
- 2.5/5
It is a resort hotel not suitable for people on business who have to run from one meeting to another. The room was on 3rd floor with no lift. So had to lug around my luggage three floors up and then down.
- 4/5
The laundry room could use a cleaning, and the rooms were about average, but the amenities were great, and the staff were some of the nicest people I've met.
- 5/5
The room was spotless, that was a huge factor for me. They were doing renovations the entire time right outside my room but I didn’t let it affect my visit. Free parking, nice pool and lounge area and fitness room!
- 5/5
Definintely a resort for families. We enjoyed how convenient the parking is and how central the location is to go shopping and find places to eat. The rooms themselves were clean and perfect for a couple. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well.
- 3/5
The online pictures look nicer than the actual. Room was small and out of date. Friendly hotel/resort staff but bombarded with high pressure sales staff the minute we walked in the lobby. Wanting to set up a sales presentation. Not the way you want to start a vacation.
- 5/5
Great stay for AZ bike week. Very close to West World.
- 2/5
Check-in staff was very nice. Size of Room, View from Room. I liked the waterfall at the pool (but see what didn't like) Pool dirty/cloudy, 2nd day, kids in diapers in pool/hot tub, kids jumping off rocks by palm trees, didn't abide by posted signs, KEEP OFF & underage in hot tub, parents allowed this; CODE VIOLATIONS! DISGUSTING-WE LEFT!
- 4/5
There was no hot water in the shower.
- 5/5
Great for vacation !
- 5/5
My only complaint was the carpet looked worn & dirty. The pool was nice. There are no elevators & we were given a room on the 3rd level. It was ok, but would have been nice to know before hand.
- 4/5
Everything is 30 minutes out
- 3.5/5
Like the rooms pool activities and property itself There is no vending machines, no place to buy snacks, sodas, drinks, Tylenol and amenities for that you get a ?
- 4.5/5
Conveniently located to shopping and dining. The rooms are dated. The sink area in the bathroom is very low. The water in the sink and shower took a while to get hot.
- 5/5
We stayed in a one bedroom and it was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Convenient location, and beautiful pool.
- 5/5
Our room was clean and well stocked with towels. The staff was amazing with giving us directions to sightseeing, and shopping. We were able to parking in front of our room, your room is on the second and third floor there’s no elevator so I requested ground floor. I will visit this resort again and I recommend.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- 4/5
We had a very nice stay and the property was beautiful and well maintained! The only areas that could use improvements is the communication from staff to guests regarding special events going on. We didn’t know about free breakfast offered in the club house on Wednesdays and didn’t know about the free water aerobics classes offered every week day from 9:30-10:30 am. We only found out with observation. Our condo suite was quite clean but could have used more cleaning of table areas where there was a lot of dust. I would still rate our stay a 4.5 out of 5 stars!
- 5/5
We loved our stay our suite was beautiful and clean it almost felt like an apartment and not a hotel room
- 2/5
Our room was dirty the second we checked in, used soap bars left in the shower, soap not refilled in the showers, counters had old food stuck to them, carpet was black and made your feet black if you walked barefoot. I was not a big fan of being on the 3rd floor with 2 little kids since you had to do everything by stairs.
- 5/5
Good location. Convenient parking.
- 5/5
Highly recommend! Friendly staff, well stocked rooms, and many fun activities on-site. The pool was perfect for our kiddos, but also nice for the adults. They even have a bar next to the pool that allows drinks at the poolside. We will definitely be back! As far as some of the reviews regarding time-share meetings, membership was never even mentioned to us. The only downside, which isn’t a huge deal, the washer and dryer appeared old and not well maintained. It took almost 2 hrs to dry 1 load of clothes…but other than that, I highly recommend!
- 5/5
Everything was great! Lots of activities for all.
- 4/5
Room was excellent. Property is well well maintained and has many recreational options for guests. Parking can be tricky at times but overall it’s a great place to stay and would definitely recommend!
- 5/5
Beautiful property, spacious/clean room and great location.
- 5/5
We enjoy staying here every year for spring break.
- 5/5
Great location, easy access to Scottsdale and East Phoenix via major freeways. Staff were 6/5, the nicest people. Property is dated, BUT, they maintain it well and keep the rooms clean. The "garden" and Bocce/cornhole area needs some updating. It was just dirty and dusty when we visited. Overall, it was a nice place to relax by the pool.
- 5/5
Pool was enjoyable!
- 5/5
Rooms were great. Pool was busy.
- 5/5
No elevator to 3rd floor.
- 4/5
Floors in room were very dirty. Asked about it said they used a mop. Actually they use a swifter.
- 4/5
Great location, within walking distance perhaps 10-12 minutes, if you are going to the princess light show. Toddler loved the kid pool play area.
- 3/5
We came for a relaxing getaway, not realizing this was some sort of timeshare ownership property. The lobby is set up so you cannot avoid the "concierge" group (to the right as you enter) who are happy to help you with your bags and push a "free" breakfast at a 90-minute sales seminar. Check-in is to the left. After they collect the resort fees, they send you back to the concierge who, in our case, berated our choice of rental club providers and golf course selection. Once we picked up our golf clubs, which were delivered without incident, we avoided the front desk as we did not have 90-seconds to spare.
- 5/5
It was close to everything. The staff were nice and the room/resort was very clean. There is nothing bad to say about this establishment.
- 5/5
Pool area was great, clean, well presented & well heated & open late. Apartment was spacious & clean. Parking was easy & location was convenient
- 5/5
Comfy beds
- 4/5
We never got the opportunity to eat the breakfast. We loved the pool it was a ton of fun and the room was fantastic. I didn't like the parking situation, it would be nice to have an assigned parking spot for every room.
- 5/5
Super nice plays. Nice pool. Awesome staff. Totally will return to this location
- 3/5
Bathrooms by the pool were gross.
- 4.5/5
Very clean and quiet Nothing
- 4/5
Rooms were nice but walls very thin
- 5/5
Great staff, nice pool and facilities. Had a kitchenette and was perfect.
- 4/5
The coffee maker was missing from the room upon arrival. It was delivered quickly but had old coffee grounds inside and old coffee in the reservoir. Pretty lazy on the part of whoever delivered it….you couldn’t miss it was full of old cold liquids! Otherwise we liked the pool area and our stay was very good. The washers and dryers are very old and don’t do a good job cleaning laundry.
- 4/5
Staff were great. Bathroom sink clogged, but other than that very nice.
- 4/5
Shower pressure and temperature was low
- 4/5
Staff professional and attentive.
- 5/5
Yes to all. Not luxurious but very nice. Well laid out. Good bathroom. Nice kitchenette. We will stay again.
- 5/5
The staff were wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The hotel was very clean inside and outside. We would definitely book here again.
- 5/5
Great amenities for kids and adults. Enjoyed the large pool area and food/bar on property.
- 3/5
The staff was friendly, but the room itself was very dated, and it took five minutes for the water to get hot. For the price I was expecting more.
- 2.5/5
Honestly nothing, it is way too mediocre. For holding a Hilton brand, there is zero amenity for Hilton honor members. There is nothing onsite that will make you feel it is a resort.
- 3/5
The room was nice and spacious but the room was not clean. It smelled really bad and the toilet had stains and did not seem like it was clean at all. The odor in the entire room was pretty bad.
- 5/5
Room was clean and un good shape, staff was friendly, food in restaurant was a good price and tasted good. Pool and hot tub area was kept up and nice to use.
- 4/5
Would have liked bar/restaurant to be open later than 7
- 5/5
Clean room, great price. My only complaint was that no one was at the desk to check me out. I waited, another customer walked up and started banging on the office door. Meanwhile my Uber was in route, by the time someone showed up to the desk my Uber had arrived. Front desk clerk was unapologetic and gave me a sarcastic "have a great day" when I told him I no longer had time to wait for a statement. Kind of rude. Everything else was great.
- 3/5
There are no elevator. I guess I missed that in the description when booking. Two elderly people had the climb up and down to the third floor. The bathroom faucet did not have hot water. We'd run it for 3-4 minutes with no success. The shower got warmer a bit faster, but not by much. We were told the restaurant was not open daily. Location for what we were there for was good. The rooms were clean and the area was quiet.
- 5/5
The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. Our room was clean and stocked with enough linens and pool towels. The staff were helpful and kind.
- 3/5
Never had any maids the entire time
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
The immediate surrounding area was devoid of any shops, restaurants, and grocery stores.
- 5/5
overall it was a wonderful stay!
- 5/5
The room was great - we particularly liked the location by the pool. This is our 6th or 7th time to stay here, and have always had a good experience.
- 5/5
The rooms were so nice and the pool was great!!!!!!
- 5/5
The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable we only stayed one night but planning on returning
- 4/5
Excellent little spot. Be mindful of the stairs needed to get to units. Was fine for us. Did notice others had help getting luggage to rooms from staff if needed.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, Room was clean. Love the location
- 4/5
Room is dated but clean. Not much space in a studio to cook properly in the kitchen.
- 4/5
No complaints
- 4/5
Yes everything was good, the only thing to me the bed wasn’t as comfortable for me but my husband had no issues
- 3/5
The HVAC system was thunderous. There was no houskeeping, had to ask for fresh towels. Huge coffee pot was ridiculous (poor design: hard to fill, leaked some of the time while brewing, and was too big/wasteful). Parking spaces hard to find at night.
- 2/5
Room had a strong smell of food. We also had out aunt staying as well. She was very hurt, had fallen the day before. We could not have them accommodate a first floor, even after she explained she could now walk to the stairs. . There are no elevators.
- 5/5
Nice location, nice activities, and restaurant.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and quiet location. Room was clean and spacious. Full kitchen which was really nice to have being there for a few days. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
T
- 5/5
Staff, facilities and resort amenities were all great. Our room was spacious. Just a great stay overall.
- 5/5
Room was well appointed and clean
- 4/5
The room was big and relatively clean for the price we paid. The one downside is the layout of the bathroom are not very wheelchair accessible and I've requested the wheelchair accessible room. Unfortunately wheelchair accessible room is not just big bathroom. I requested a shower chair they don't have any so I'm lucky to have my husband help me in and out of the tub otherwise I won't have been able to utilize the bathroom at all.
- 4/5
Very courteous staff. Fresh fruit and pastries upon arrival. Very clean room. Comfy bed with nice pillows. My only wish is when I asked for an early check-in around noon, I wish they would have told me it was highly unlikely instead of saying they would text when it was ready and we waited till 40 min before regular check in time anyway.
- 5/5
Beautiful resort. Clean room. Great swimming pool.
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Clean room, amenities were nice, room was spacious, comfortable bed and bedding, kitchen had nice features. Staff was helpful.
- 5/5
Great stay, friendly attentive staff.
- 5/5
Nice room, quiet area, 30m walkway to shopping area.
- 5/5
An affordable clean Hotel for a short Staycation
- 5/5
Wonderful place.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing, room was well equipped and amenities were great. Location was perfect!
- 5/5
This hotel is very clean and has many fun activities on the premises to entertain both adults and children. I would definitely return.
- 5/5
Really enjoyed my stay. In the perfect location
- 4/5
The room was clean and very well kept, the bed however was springy, and lumpy
- 5/5
Clean and good priced
- 3/5
Mattress was bad furniture in living was old kitchen faucets didn’t shut off all the time trying to sleep with a transformer humming outside the bedroom wall
- 5/5
Room and staff were very helpful and accommodating. Enjoyed our stay, would definitely return. 😊
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
The staff at front desk were so helpful and friendly.
- 4/5
Room was clean and nice amenities
- 4/5
Nice room and amenities. The hot water took forever, but that’s the only complaint we had.
- 5/5
Convenient location for our family activities. Comfortable and spacious unit. Well tended property.
- 5/5
Staff was excellent and very friendly! Room was very clean and nice. Phone did not work in the room - this was a bit of a problem.
- 5/5
Clean room, courteous staff, many amenities.
- 4/5
The room was perfect for our group. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms let us have our own space and the kitchen and common area were good sizes. Front staff and concierge were friendly. The spa hot tub was big and great for evening relaxation. Our room was not cleaned at all during our stay, a bag of towels and sheets was just set outside the door and we set our garage outside because it was full. That was odd, but we managed. We were really only there to sleep. No bar, just a grill open morning until early evening.
- 5/5
Absolutely beautiful and worth every penny!!
- 5/5
Everything was great. Thanks
- 4/5
check-in staff kept pushing for a scheduled timeshare attendance.
- 2/5
My experience began on a sour check-in. I was offered to attend your promotional seminars, after filling out a form revealing my income I was judged, discriminated, and refused permission to attend. That was explained to management on the property and I was left without any answers.
- 5/5
Lovely clean room and so big! Close to everything in a quick uber.
- 1/5
Not one single day did anyone come and clean the room No new bed sheets towels This is not a place to stay
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
The room was good. It was clean. Not luxurious, but ok. The showerhead nozzles were clogged, limiting pressure. The hit water was lukewarm. I wasnt there long enough to ask for it to be fixed.
- 2/5
3 stories and no elevator. Cold showers. Took 20 minutes to get warm water. Tv kept going out
- 5/5
Lots of food choices in the area and things to do.
- 5/5
The room was really clean
- 5/5
I felt very safe as I was traveling solo.
- 4/5
Very nice and spacious room.
- 5/5
The staff was very accommodating throughout my week stay. I would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
The people and facilities were outstanding. The room was a bit dated but clean
- 5/5
Rooms were very comfortable and huge! Staff was accommodating as well.
- 5/5
I liked the super comfortable location
- 5/5
Beautiful large room with kitchen, lovely amenities. Wonderful vacation spot. Fantastic pool and hot tub. Friendly and helpful staff.
- 5/5
It was a beautiful place to stay. The rooms were very spacious and nice and the pool was awesome. Plus having the restaurant/bar open by the pool was very convenient. We really enjoyed ourselves.
- 4/5
Resort was great, room was great. Staff great. Wish they had a restaurant that was open early and or later
- 4/5
We were happy with the property.
- 5/5
Nice room, pool was perfect temp overall great place to stay.
- 4/5
Yes
- 4/5
Staff was great. Our building had no elevators.
- 4/5
…
- 5/5
So much room, great pool- we really enjoyed our stay
- 5/5
We've stayed here 5 times. Easy in and out. We like having a small kitchenette. The room is always clean and well appointed.
- 5/5
All good other than cold pool lots stairs
- 1/5
Be more considerate to clients needs.
- 3/5
It was disappointing that we never revived housekeeping, even after we asked for it specifically. Not sure why they only come by once every 8 days. The dryer in the room destroyed anything we had with drawstrings. Between 4 of us, we lost seven outfits because of that.
- 3/5
Property was nice. Room clean and nice pool area. Didn't like: walkway lights near our unit did not operate, light at our door was out, bath door keep sticking and hard to open, tv remote for bedroom did not work.
- 4/5
The hotel is nice and comfortable. The balcony is nice and the staff is friendly. It is a “vacation club” so they are pushy about setting you up with an appointment to buy a time share
- 5/5
Appreciated separate area for kids
- 4/5
No hot water for the 4 nights we stayed. Only luke warm so no hot showers. The staff looked at it but said that’s just how it is. Was promised Hilton honors points, still waiting on those too.
- 5/5
All staff was very friendly and helpful. Property and room was safe and clean. Definitely will come back again.
- 5/5
My check in wasn’t until 4pm but they were able to check us in early! Which we loved , the only thing that we disliked was that our room was on the 3rd floor and my husband has a bad knee. Other than that 5/5
- 5/5
Beautiful balcony view. Could watch the fireworks from the Fairmont Princess
- 4/5
Appropriate for visit. Friendly and attentive welcome staff. Izzy very helpful with followup. Had to get a room on 3rd floor with no elevators. Also property entrance to 1 bedroom on 3rd floor could use power washing. However room was nicely appointed and very comfortable.
- 5/5
Very nice place for a weekend.
- 5/5
Great staff, incredible pool, awesome restaurant and easy parking and access
- 5/5
Great amenities!
- 5/5
Love this place!! Must stay
- 5/5
This hotel was so close to the ball field. There was breakfast in the morning and we found it quiet and relaxing. Lots of food options in the neighbourhood.
- 5/5
Loved the pool and all of the staff was amazing
- 4/5
Nice place but check in was laborious. After checking at front desk was steered to another desk to listen to pitches for the vacation club membership. Said not interested three times. I did not like that when all I wanted to do was to find a comfortable place to wait until the room was ready. No on site vending though the small poolside restaurant is fine and has friendly staff. Personnel overall were pleasant and professional.
- 5/5
The only complaint I have is that the hot water takes several minutes to warm-up. Other than that, it was great and will consider staying there again if I visit Phoenix again.
- 3/5
Must I separately heat the cild cream in the counter top heaters to obtain Hit coffee?
- 5/5
Beautiful property and the suite was perfect.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing
- 5/5
The price was amazing for the hotel and space we had. The hotel was also clean
- 5/5
Always love staying here. It’s very low key and everyone is so friendly.
- 5/5
Great service
- 5/5
Appreciated the amenities of the handicapped room! Enjoyed the pool. Location was great for our doctor visits to Mayo Clinic Hospital.
- 5/5
The room was exceptionally spacious and the pool was awesome
- 2/5
Plus, they texted and knocked on our door at 7am to remind us to go to their sales pitch nuisance. Woke us out of a deep sleep.
- 5/5
Good place to stay. Very clean. Room service would be great but it’s ok. I think I may have been overcharged too
- 5/5
This resort was great. Took my 3 daughters and we really enjoyed our time. Great pool area with tons of loungers and umbrellas. Also had a life jacket to use for my little one. The one bedroom villa was perfect too. Great kitchen with supplies. AC worked great and very very clean. Will be back.
- 5/5
Staff was wonderful, there was nothing that i didn't like. 😁
- 5/5
We loved how well stocked our suite was… it had everything needed, right from dish soap to laundry detergent. The pool was fabulous… grounds were beautiful. The only thing that I would say made me give 4 stars was that the restaurant closed at 7 and I was hoping for more options at the restaurant.
- 5/5
Good price clean quiet resort
- 5/5
The only thing i didn't like was the walk up 3 flights of stairs with a1 year old.
- 5/5
Great property. We used to stay here when it was Diamond Resorts and since we got a good rate for this trip, decided to stay again for old time's sake. The room we were in had been nicely renovated and the pool was spotless as usual. Not crowded. The little restaurant/bar has been upgraded and we felt the prices were very reasonable (about $10 for a cocktail). Will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect
- 5/5
Great place to stay, lots of games and beautiful pool area. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was nice, the kitchen was perfect for making a few meals!
- 5/5
Close to Mayo Clinic and surrounding areas, with all the amenities, including cooking and laundry in the large unit.
- 5/5
It was a beautiful place to stay even for a day.
- 5/5
Highly recommend staying at this resort rooms are very clean fully furnished with everything you need to eat in or go out staff went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent experience will definitely go back
- 4/5
Stayed here with my family for a mini get away. The resort is nice and we enjoyed the pool. The rooms are a plus with a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. Only thing I would change is the length of time it takes to get warm water to shower. Seem like it took about five minutes of running the water to finally get it warm.
- 5/5
Everything was very clean. Great stay
- 5/5
What a gorgeous property! Room was very comfortable. Was next to the pool but very quiet. Would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
This was the perfect place for our short trip to Scottsdale. It had everything we needed!
- 5/5
we love staying here! will be back
- 5/5
It was great! Room was amazing!
- 5/5
A beautiful resort.
- 1/5
I cancelled this reservation and I'm waiting for a full refund!
- 5/5
Great experience. Staffs are very kind and ready to help.
- 5/5
The amenities are crazy awesome! Especially for kids.
- 5/5
The property , and most of the staff! Beware of Stacey, she Always Be Closing like a pitbull, like a girl boss
- 5/5
Absolutely loved our stay here! The one bedroom condo was bigger than our apartment, was updated nicely and had a wonderful balcony for sipping coffee in the morning. Spent our time by the pool which was amazing! Only negative—there were no additional towels available by the pool. The only ones provided you had to bring and reuse from the room.
- 5/5
The staff were all so kind and helpful! I felt very welcomed.
- 5/5
Very nice very clean. Quiet and spacious
- 5/5
Liked it. Did not like the resort fee I had to pay after the fact
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 4/5
.
- 5/5
Was more than expected
- 5/5
Before we checked in, we weren't aware that we would be confronted by a bit of a high pressure salesperson trying to entice us to a presentation the next morning regarding a vacation rental (basically a time share). We made it clear we weren't interested, even as they offered to pay us just to attend the sales meeting. That was a bit annoying, but we held our ground and they let us go. I would definitely recommend this beautiful property.
- 5/5
Second stay here and again the rooms are very nice. We are usually traveling for horse shows and this place is super convenient.
- 5/5
A very good property and low-stress!
- 5/5
Beautiful property. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Wonderful gym and pool.
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet. Staff was very welcoming! No elevators which would’ve been nice. All in all a great property.
- 4/5
Our unit felt a little dated. Room felt small compared to the bathroom size. The TV was small - but not why we were there…sink is basic - can’t wash plates off or have food go down the drain. Bring your own pickleball paddles and balls, the loaners aren’t that great. Basketball and sport court is fun. Pool is fun and there’s activities for the whole family on site. Good location. Safe location. Super helpful staff. Friendly people. Enjoyed the fruit bar and donut day they had during one morning. Seemed that a few people were there for taking in local golf. We had a college graduation move out and it worked for what we needed.
- 5/5
The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. We enjoyed ourselves and will be back.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, friendly staff
- 5/5
Very beautiful place. Real nice resort feel…the pool was beautiful…the room was awesome!! Loved the fireplace. Would definitely stay here again!!
- 5/5
Fantastic! We had an excellent time, check in was easy established friendly amenities were awesome! Our first time to Arizona and we loved it. Thanks for being a great host!
- 5/5
The property and room were impeccable. However there were a few things that I didn't like about the room. Water took to long to heat up and the water was very hard that left a white residue on my skin.
- 5/5
love this place
- 4/5
Great gym facility
- 5/5
Nice pool area. One bedroom spacious with gull kitchen.
- 5/5
,
- 5/5
We have stayed at this property multiple times and it has always been a great time. Relaxing and a home away from home.
- 5/5
I would return
- 5/5
Always enjoy staying here when I am in Scottsdale.
- 5/5
A pen or pencil in the room would be nice. A Very nice place for vacation.
- 5/5
Loved the property. Will definitely book smithy stay in the future
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and Cafe were excellent. We will definitely visit again.
- 4/5
Also, parking is hard! We parked on the other side of the property from our unit most evenings.

Liked the facilities. Didn’t like being hounded by concierge to attend their timeshare presentation

It was such a fun spot to stay with our kids- we slept comfortably and enjoyed the kitchen as well as the fun amenities! The staff was always helpful and friendly.

Our stay was wonderful. We originally had a third floor room. My wife recently had knee surgery and it was near impossible for her to walk up three flights of stairs (no elevators). We requested a ground level room. The staff worked diligently and after the first night, they were able to arrange a ground level room for us which made the remaining stay just perfect.

Not having an elevator for our second story room was inconvenient but very thankful for the help bringing our bags to and from our room!

Very comfortable!! Clean room pool perfect close to everything

It was so hard to walk up the six flights of stairs every time we wanted to go out of the apartment. It would be nice if we would have known and could have requested a first floor unit.

Terrible staff and facilities

Room was clean and well cared for. Our one suggestion was related to service. No one at the desk provided any information about responsibilities for taking out trash or when new towels would be provided. We made do with what was in the room and did the best we could. Suggest a simple handout regarding housekeeping.

arking was alittle stuggle. coming back from a dinner aftet 9 pm when the gate is already closed and not finding any sports available to park, might be frustrating. We had t park on the other side of the resort, it gave us 5 min walk. We do not mind that much but some peope might find this as a big problem. no breakfast served in the property is also a bit of a issue. Everything else is perfect.

Great pool, sport courts and decent pool side restaurant. Good for families and reunions. This is not a walkable property to any area for food or entertainment and you end up being dependent on a car.

We enjoyed the room as well as the pool with the Aqua cafe. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and intuitive. We would stay here again.

Parking was a bit difficult and never was able to park near our unit.

the poolside snack shop had a good menu

Nothing in particular

TV continuously ‘updates listing’ and resets back to hotel start screen. So you can’t watch anything without being annoyed. Everything in room seemed in good order and relatively new.

Save electricity or gas. It appears that there are restrictions on hot water. It takes about 4 to 5 minutes for the water to heat up in the bathroom sink and shower. This wastes alot of water. This was a disabled accessible room and the bed, while low, was uncomfortable.

Didn’t realize it was a vacation club property! Meaning outside entry. 70 years old and had to carry luggage up 3 flights of stairs! Staff didn’t offer to take luggage and also could’ve been considerate and put us on the first or even second floor!

Solid, no issues. Great alternative for a run of the mill hotel room.

The property is an older property they are remodeling rooms, no elevators, they are 3 floors in each building , the steps are very small, difficult to maneuver. They did ask if we needed bottom floor but, i didn't know there wasn't an elevator. It is definitely a sales location, to get you to buy into Hilton. Not much else going on there. So very quite at night, but by 9am you could hear construction going on in the rooms.

Very nice

Shower pressure sucks. Probably needs filters behind the heads cleaned. Or change heads. Pillows and mattress are too soft for anyone over 40, trust me most people would say that. Tv doesn’t have smart features, doesn’t cast. Needs a newer tv. Only half of the hot tub barely works. Great neighborhood.

Great place to stay

Would recommend this hotel

Did not like that housekeeping was limited to only one during my 6 days stay. Also that information was not shared during my front desk or booking interaction. I was very disappointed that my bed and area was unkept. My expectations are that being at a hotel my regular chores that I engage in at home would be different. I travel as a senior alone and is not interested in engaging in household chores such as cooking etc. I am happy to use other dining options. There should be some considerations for other options not only cater for families.

Condition of the room needs a little more care

I would have liked a room on the first floor, therefore, not requiring climbing steps due to our bad knees. Front clerk couldn't accommodate us. One of the door locks was broken and therefore, didn't provide that extra security feature.

The downside however, was twofold. The first, was the door on the Standalone shower was loose we were afraid to use it so we had to use the one in the tub which wasn't a big issue. The second, the staff pushing for me to go to their presentation. I had explained that I was having surgery and that I needed to recoup. Prior to leaving they then tried to get me to pay for a 4-day stay at a large discount. I would have preferred if they mentioned it one time and left it at that.
