Property was very clean, clean beds, showers. Pool and hot tub included as well. Work out room, games and a pool table. Nice clean open dining/relaxing area. Our room has a fridge, bench, extra hooks for clothes, storage, and a nice controllable AC. Free breakfast was a plus as well! Came with eggs, bacon, sausage, meats, omelets, sandwiches, automatic pancake maker, waffles, cereal, toppings, yogurt machine, juice machine, different breads with an automatic toaster, fruits, etc. Really enjoyed the stay, felt safe with my toddler. 10 stars!

The Tru Hotel in Scottsdale was true to from of a Hilton property. The staff was excellent, very cordial, congenial, personable and professional. Breakfast was great as well, fresh offerings and a great variety.

The room was beautiful, the service outstanding and the breakfast delicious. I enjoyed my stay and recommend this location.

I had the pleasure of getting assistance from Rob. I booked through Expedia and was unaware of the $225 incidental deposit. I took it out on him. I came back to apologize and he still had such a good spirit. He kept it professional the entire time. I still feel bad. But the hotel was close to a lot of things. Clean. Staff were very friendly and great customer service. Two hotels connected so you get both options for breakfast. Breakfast was amazing. It was quiet and peaceful. I would absolutely stay here again.

-nice large lobby and seating areas with activities (pool table, games, TV, etc.) -free breakfast with good options -location -Euro modern feel -arrived to check in at 4:20pm and room was not ready (although check in is 4pm) -called the front desk on four separate occasions several minutes apart in one night due to issue with our toilet...no answer! -toilet wouldn't flush but no one answered the phone at the front desk, so walked down to front desk. Clerk said she would send maintenance up to our room. A gentleman showed up with a plunger and just handed it to us to fix the issue! -shower area was not clean -bed was rock solid/pillows were mushy

We liked our stay but the breakfast was iffy on all 3 mornings. Missing items mostly. Liked being able to get food from either side of the hotel! Used the laundry and they worked good too.

The dealbreaker for me was after I got home and unpacked. I realized I had left an outfit hanging behind the bathroom door. I am 100% positive that I left pants and a shirt there. I reached out through the app and didn’t hear anything back after several days. I called the hotel and she said she would look into it and give me a call back in 10 minutes. I didn’t hear anything. I received a message in the app that stated they have a system they log items into and there was nothing for my room. So that means the items were either taken or thrown away. That’s just really unfortunate. Totally my fault for leaving anything behind, but the kind thing to do would have been to let the guest know.

Air conditioner does work but comes on and off. Constantly, not enough food provided for breakfast. Ran out well before 830. Short of the main ingredients? Close to 10 AM. Most foods were already removed that were left.

The property itself is a solid value for the price and location. The grounds and overall facilities were well-maintained and enjoyable, especially for a stay in Scottsdale. Upon arriving and settling in, we discovered that the internet wasn’t working. When we contacted the front desk, instead of handling the issue, we were given a phone number and told to call the internet provider ourselves. This took over 30 minutes—time that should have been spent enjoying our trip. Shortly after, we ran into another problem: the toilet wouldn’t flush. After a long road trip, this was especially frustrating. To the hotel’s credit, they did move us to a new room and resolved the issue, but only after we had already unpacked and settled in.

Clean, friendly staff, had everything we needed. We usually spend most of our time outside of the hotel, exploring the area so we really only need a place to lay our heads. This place was perfect for us.

I got the room for February 15 and it was change to April 15 I call management and they say it was normal for that to happen charge me another 400 to stay the night Rooms were dirty

Staff was amazing and super helpful. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t as clean as expected, with beard clippings and dirt on the bathroom floor. The Wi-Fi was pretty slow, and while the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, it was nice that HBO was included for free on the TV. The location is a huge plus though, it’s close to so many amenities like restaurants, the aquarium, and less than 20 minutes from the zoo.

However, my charging cable for my phone was stolen from my car, parked in hotel property. I reported the incident to the front desk girl, who said she would inform the manager and would check the cameras. She never did it and I did not receive any additional information about the incident. The manager never came out to give any explanations.

Was throughly impressed with my stay here! The room was very nice and clean. And the breakfast was extensive and tasted amazing, even when we went during the later hours of breakfast time. Would definitely recommend for a family stay, or even an alone stay. Was definitely worth the money. It took about 2 minutes to check in, and maybe a minute at most to check out.

Did not stay in a suite with a kitchen. The room was nice and clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of amenities to keep ypu entertained. Eateries within walking distance. Would definitely recommend.

The room was clean. Interesting that there were no closets, just hangers but it works just fine. The breakfast was decent for a continental breakfast. The shower was not hot, and at times it was barely warm. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet so we did get good sleep.

Enjoyed our stay, however, the bathroom water was not hot, just lukewarm, and one evening the water was completely shut off from approx. 9pm to 1am. Staff said a boiler replacement part was being installed, however, no notice was given as to the shut/off. Staff indicated a “letter” was distributed but neither us or others were given a letter. It would have been nice to be notified in advance, maybe a notice in the lobby? Everything else was good!

the location was close enough to walk to a few small restaurants, which we liked! Also a safe location. Nothing super special about the hotel, just a normal stay.

She was very obviously more interested in a young gentleman hanging out at the desk! -zero storage in the room, no room to even lay out a suitcase -room was very small, not even room for a nightstand on one side of bed. -no safe, no clock, no microwave, no coffee maker -shower was dirty -awkward access to the building, especially when parking way out back near the pool. It was a very long walk with heavy suitcases around the front of the building or to the side of the building -rock hard beds...ROCK hard and pillows were way too soft. We had neck/upper back pain after first night

Ive stayed here twice. Once on the Home2 side and this time on the Tru side. Home 2 was a better experience and the rooms are bigger. Ty’s water did not get hot and the rooms smelled like feet!! The neighbors were really loud in the middle of the night as well (yelling/partying at 11 pm). If you are picking a side, stay on the Home 2 side.

Well lit at night . Plenty of parking . Great breakfast . Absolutely love the coffee brand that you used. The staff that takes care of the breakfast was very tentative and when things ran out, she would go and fill them up. If I could make a few suggestion since house cleaning only comes every other day, it might be useful if they could put two extra bath towels, which would be a total of 4. Also, the TV guide there’s no paper explanation on how to work the TV. Like we clicked on Netflix, but we couldn’t get it because we had to sign in. A list of the channels available would be helpful. But other than that, we had a great stay would stay with you guys again when we come back next year.

Clean room, nice newer facility with good location. Heated pool and hot tub open till 11 pm was great. Only complaint was Breakfast is weak. Very minimal with artificial eggs, cereal, bagels and pancake mix. That’s it.

Easy check in, decent size room and decent water pressure. I can forgive the bed being a little firmer than I like but I will never understand why every single hotel has pillows that are basically mush. You could have stacked all 4 on top of each other and still found yourself with your head flat on the mattress. It made sleeping difficult.

There were no truly healthy options. The scrambled eggs were terrible tasting (they were not real eggs)and the oatmeal was not cooked thoroughly. The sausage was mystery meat, awful texture and taste. Real meat sausage and real scrambled eggs. Steel cut oatmeal that is thoroughly cooked with berries. Sourdough bread as an option to sandwich slices.A better tea selection also.

The woman at the front desk is super helpful and easy to talk to. The price was a bit steep.

A good stay overall! They have two hotels in one, and they have separate breakfast food services. One strong suggestion: combine them into one to proactively work around staffing issues, and have on-duty staff cross trained in breakfast service in case someone is out. There were quality issues (food being served to temp) that were acknowledged and fixed. Ditto for a room HVAC issue (though the system is quirky). I'd stay there again at the price I paid (which was below $100/night).

Terrible room. Lighting was inadequate, no lights beside the stand by the beds they were mounted on the wrong sde of the beds so you had to get up to turn the lights off. No plastic cups to rinse your mouth after brushing, they dont provide them. No ice bucket in the room, no closet, no little dresser, no pen or paper, just the bare minimum. For the price they charge they definitely need to step it up quit a bit. Room was clean & beds were ok.

First time I’ve ever called for loud noise from room above but super heavy walking all through the night and early morning. Called 3 times and nothing done. They said they added some points to my rewards but unacceptable. This was a two night stay so the next afternoon had to call and ask for towels and room cleaned. Never came by. Horrible

Room was clean the only problem is the blinds in there need to be replaced or repaired because unfortunately sunlight is able to get through from them being off track.

The hotel is in a convenient location. Restaurants in the parking lot. Breakfast was great each morning and the hotel staff was very friendly. The rooms are standard rooms. My only complaint is the air container is loud. Its Arizona so it kicks on alot through the night. If you're a light sleeper you'll hear it every time. All in all, not a bad hotel for the price.

Was really looking forward to using the pool but guests brought in non guests and had a party all night and staff didn't care. 3 cases of glass beer bottles and floaties and dozens of kids snuck in the back pool gate. Won't be back.

Great hotel, comfy mattress and pillows. We love this hotel. The only reason it gets a 3-star is because of the parking hazard. I found an end spot next to a young shade tree. Whe we came out to the car the next morning, it was totally covered with hard water deposits. I’ve washed the car 3 times, and still cannot rub out the hard water stains. I recommend not parking anywhere near garden areas. But, I really do love the hotel.

Great location. Lots of restaurant options within walking distance. We stayed here for the Arizona Boardwalk which was across the street. My son loved it. The hotel has a decent pool area and jacuzzi. Free breakfast was included with our stay. Small selection but good. Eggs, sausage, pancakes, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, and some fruit and yogurt.

All the staff was very welcoming and had wonderful customer service great hotel will stay again.

We picked this hotel cause it had a pool. Are family included small children which love to swim. We found the pool very cloudy and could not see the bottom in which I forbid them to use. It was quite a disappointment. The rest of the hotel was a joy to stay at!

This was my first stay at a Hilton. I will stay at another. One of our nights was not great. On our floor at 2 -3 in the morning a woman was yelling and arguing with someone in the hall. She should of been asked to leave.

I truly enjoyed the variety and quality provided at breakfast. It is the best hotel breakfast I've had in a long time. It was quick and convenient to check in/out. Clean rooms and comfortable pillows. My only complaint is one of the elevators was not in service and so waiting for the elevator took a bit longer. We plan to stay here again.

Booked 2 rooms for my daughter’s 18th birthday. We were excited! The pictures looked great. The pictures definitely do not depict what you actually get. The pool area looks nothing like the pictures. The room walking in seemed smaller than the pictures. Upon putting up a few decorations I noticed some stains on the wall that looked like throw up. I did take pictures just to make sure this was not put on me. The next room was next door, which was nice, I do wish the rooms had a splitting door but it was not a big a deal. The next room also had stains on the wall not as many, the floor was sticky but overall seemed okay. The turning point was the staff and the breakfast. Both were great and for that I enjoyed the stay. Would I stay here again. Yes I think so

I liked that the property was convenient to activities in and around Phoenix. It was safe, clean, and quiet. The morning free breakfast provided a good variety of traditional breakfast foods (oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, cereal, etc.). The room however was small and had no dresser or enclosed places (closet) for storage.

Exceptional location and very accommodating staff

It was a clean and nice place to stay. The only thing we didn't like was the A/C system. This system came out a few years ago and is very inefficient and terrible. It either runs the AC or the heat. The AC drops the temp until the heater turns on and then it heats until the AC turns on. It creates its own battle.

I had to hunt around to find someone to come to the front desk to check me in. The room is adequate but obviously a little towards the low end. The lobby facility was nice but was overrun by noisy kids.

We stayed three nights. After the first night they didn’t clean the room. That isn’t a problem but they should change the towels. If I knew they only cleaned every other day we would have made arrangements to exchange the towels.

I travel a lot and the Tru hotel in Scottsdale is by far the best hotel. Staff was amazing and accommodating, breakfast was so good, tons of choices, pool table, 24 hour coffee station and lobby seating (swings to relax) makes this hotel so great!

this was a very nice updated hotel. Huge tv and very comfortable room. The only complaint I had was the construction right outside beginning at 2am. My co-worker was staying on the other side and was not disturbed.

Very convenient, well kept and basic. Room is spacious but sparsely furnished. There isn't a closet nor a chair/sofa to sit on rather than bed. There is a place with knobs for jackets and a long bench with a shelf for shoes. There is a bed very small night table and tiny desk. It is pretty expensive for a bed and television. I began to think it is a handicap accessible room but the shower us regular.

Big fan of Home2/Tru. Have stayed at many throughout the country. This one did not disappoint. Friendly desk staff, quiet clean room, plenty of towels, fridge, nice TV. Only small knock was the thermostat was not working properly. Otherwise, enjoyed my stay and the daily included breakfast.
