Hampton Inn & Suites Tampa East (Casino Area)

I found that some of the staff were grumpy and not too keen about service. I extended the stay when I was there the second time, but the staff did not want to give us the bottles of water given to new guests. They say it was not permitted for extensions. Otherwise, the breakfast was reasonable, and parking had to be paid for!

From check in to check out was amazing… no complaints. Would stay again.

The staff was wonderful. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good considering not many hotels do breakfast anymore. The only downside was the pool was out of service and my kids were looking forward to spending a day in the water aside from that our stay was wonderful.

Yes the breakfast was good. Pool area was closed for remodeling.

The outdoor pool was closed for a week and there was no notice to guest until checkin. Since this was a primary reason for picking this hotel, it was a disappointment! I would have chosen a hotel closer to shops and restaurants. Please post on your site and notify guest of pool closures (especially planned ones like this one).

Daily morning breakfast was excellent. Bed comfortable and very clean. Little tiny ants on the ninth night stand when we arrived from under the phone. Shower curtain does not enclose entire tub was approximately 6-8 inches short which caused some water that had to be blotted up so as not too fall with a hand towel. We did have the bath mat down but back towards the middle of the tub.

Staff was friendly, room clean. Every day the hot breakfast was something different. I didnt go to the pool so i cannot rate that. Overall beds were comfortable and i do suffer from a bad back so waking up not hurting is always a big gold star.

This a newer and well-maintained Hampton Inn. Good area just north of Tampa, near I-4. The Hampton Inn features were just as one would expect. I would give it a 5th star, but the internet was intermittently unavailable in our room. I asked for assistance. The desk clerk tried to provide an alternative but it worked no better. This was on multiple devices and occasions

The rooms are very outdated, the shower was not clean and needed maintenance. Overall well below average and I would not stay there again.

The staff was very good and informative with restaurant suggestions The biggest disappointment was with the quality of the breakfast and hot drink availability Most breakfast items were scarce or sometimes unavailable. The hot dishes had no daily variety and the trays were often empty. Only one waffle maker of two was working and muffins were one variety every day when available! The self service lobby hot water ,coffee,and tea also had problems with availability and no tea bags were available for three days prior to our departure Our following day hotel was another Hampton Inn in Altamonte Springs Fl. And the breakfast selection and hot drinks were fabulous compared to this hotel in Thonotosassa Fl.

Being a Hilton property, I thought there would be more amenities, but they didn't have much. It was still a nice stay. I was just hoping for room services cê when I got in so late!

Hotel appeared to be clean until we woke up one morning to a cockroach in our room next to the bed. Front desk staff was not surprised by it and just said well people do take food ro their room. had to shake everything out and repack to make sure none got into our luggage

In town for beautiful wedding at Ever After Farms. Hotel was close to venue. Our Room was clean, spacious and quiet. Slept great on bed. Staff was lovely.

I woke up in the middle of the night several times itching my legs. In the morning I had about 15 bites all over my legs. Our children on a separate bed had one or two bites each. Defiantly bed bugs. We asked to change rooms and were accommodated. But I hate that we had to PAY for this experience. I had to throw my luggage away and deep clean all of our possessions. Insult to injury the hotel staff denies there were any bed bugs because they could not find any. But I have bites all over my legs. Do not stay in room 200!!

Night shift front desk was so welcoming upon arrival. Morning shift not so friendly nor helpful. I asked for towels around 8:30 and never got them. Night front desk mase sure he dropped what was doing to get our towels. Overall this was a great property.

Our next trip to Tampa we definitely stay in the same hotel.

This was our first stay at a Hampton Inn. The parking was safely lit, ample and just a few steps away from the lobby. The hotel smelled like an expensive spa. Checking in was wasy, the staff was friendly. The room was spotless and very spacious.The breakfast was delicious.We will definitely be back and have already recommended it to our friends!

Overall the hotel was clean. I am big on pictures so I booked this hotel based on the photos I was excited to walk around the area(little did I know the hotel wa la off the highway and in front a a tractor trailer parking lot. The photos that say view from property are false advertisement!

Breakfast was hot, a lot of food choices. It was a bit cold out when we stayed so the heat in the room was just what we needed. The room was very spacious, clean and bed was comfortable.

It was clean and spacious. I enjoyed the breakfast as well. There were little things like the bathroom door handle fell off, the toilet paper bar falling down and peeling in the bathroom ceiling.

There was a large party in the room below us. After 4 hours of extremely loud music we asked to have our room changed. They moved us quickly and with no issues. Our stay was terrible but the staff did a good job of assisting.

The staff was friendly and check-in was quick. The room was very clean and just what we expected. However, the room was 66 degrees when we checked in and we had to turn the AC off and warm up the room a bit. In fact, it was so cold in the room that everything (bed spread, pillows, tile floor etc.) felt damp and cold.

Enjoyed the nice hot breakfast- good coffee- clean breakfast area. We arrived late at night and was greeted by a very friendly staff member -Chris. We were able to have a feesh cup of coffee. Our room was clean & cozy. The best was the Great Hot shower. Full force water pressure. We would definitely book here again if we are travling to this area. We didn't have any issues.

Bedding did not seem very clean sheets were stale feeling not fresh, bathroom floor obviously hadn’t been swept because someone’s make up stick was left under the sink. only had one tissue in the tissue box, was a odor in the room. Called prior to arriving for check in and was told there was no deposit when I arrived at check-in They charged me a deposit. Just luckily I had money on my card. I usually use cash for everything would have been a disaster if there wasn’t had been enough on my card for the deposit after driving a 2 Hour Dr. to the hotel. I stayed one night woke up the next morning went down to the breakfast area at 8:30 AM there was no coffee!! Four employees in the back room, talking and laughing and had to interrupt them and tell them there was no coffee out here to drink was then told it will be about five minutes. Went back 10 minutes later got a cup of coffee. There was no sugar told the employee could I please have some sugar with my coffee just doesn’t seem to be very organized. Upon checking out another customer ahead of me complained about a housekeeper was very rude to her so I know I’m not the only one that was unhappy with my stay.

Stayed here with my son to be close to MIDFLORIDA for a show. Check in was a breeze especially doing it on the app. The front desk gentleman was super nice. The room was spacious and super comfortable. Breakfast was great and loved the choices. Didn’t get to use the pool but it looked so fun

Having stayed at this location 2 times prior, I figured it would be just as good. I was wrong on that front. The room cleanliness wasn’t great. And the breakfast was extremely meager, the room where the food was was extremely messy and dirty where all of the waffle batter an other items were. There was no bagels or muffins etc like there had been on prior visits. It just felt thrown together. The hot food was limited to inedible sausages, cold frozen omelets and tasteless potatoes. Very disappointed that this hotel is already going down hill likely due to laziness of the staff.

Hai dryer is useless, absolutely no TV guide, lack of c any entertainment on TV, station selections terrible. Who ever designed the layout of the room was only concerned about business travelers. Position of desk & TV indicates preference for Business Travelers however only ONE CHAIR around desk - not very family friendly.

I arrived to my room after check in, my bathroom shower was missing a shower curtain and then my toilet was not working. I went to the front desk and asked for the manager, Chris said they didn’t have one on site. He refused to give me his number and Instead he proceeded to say he will be on property tomorrow. I drove 3 hours for an event but I will not be staying here again. Very unorganized and inconvenient.

Tried to blame me and my mother, who was also checking in at the time, for an issue paying for the fee. The machine said “Payment Successful”, and I was told it was not. My payment is still “pending” in my banking app and I checked out over two weeks ago.

The hotel was clean and the staff was pleasant, especially during our departure on Sunday morning. However, our experience was slightly impacted by the lack of efficiency at breakfast. When we first went to get a cup of coffee, there was none available, so we decided to eat our breakfast and return afterward. Unfortunately, even then, the wait for coffee was so long that we had to leave without any. I was surprised that something as simple and essential as morning coffee wasn’t better managed. A little more attention to this detail would have made the stay feel more complete.

It supposedly is served until 10 AM but I was in the breakfast area at 9:20 and there were no eggs, no milk, no half & half, no bagels. Just dry raisin bread and some unappetizing looking sausages!

Great stay close to the mid Florida amphitheater. Quiet hotel we got a suite on the 4th floor overlooking the pool. It was quiet. Not much to eat without getting in the car.

Currently staying here with my wife and I must say that we are blown away by not only the room we are staying in, but the staff as well! Jennifer in the front went above and beyond to accommodate us and we are so grateful for her! She is so friendly and warming that it felt like family taking care of us! She is what every hotel business dreams of when having a staff member and she deserves such a recognition! The room is so beautiful and HUGE! Never been in such a spacious room and it is so clean and inviting! The note Jennifer left for us as well was very sweet and shows that customer service here is top tier!
