I really enjoyed this hotel. It’s a little steep in price at least when I booked it was but I loved the room layout. It was super spacious and the kitchen was helpful! The breakfast in the morning was actually the best free breakfast I’ve had at a hotel thus far. I’d definitely come back

Location Other customers smoke weed and the floors had a strong smell even a warning sign says “ this is a 100% free smoke floor” but it was not.

Someone from the front desk came and told me the drain was very clogged. I explained that I had woken up very early for my appointment and urgently needed to use a shower in another room. After some time, they gave me a key to a smaller room on the same third floor, but when I turned on that shower, the same thing happened—the water would not drain. I had to wash myself in parts as best as I could, without fully stepping into the shower. Then I ran back down the hallway to my original room to get dressed because I was already late. I ended up missing my important appointment and didn’t even have time for breakfast. When I explained to the front desk agent that the entire purpose of my trip had been ruined, she simply said, “I noted the issue with the bathroom.” I did not pay a low price for this stay, only for the purpose of my trip—after traveling so far—to be completely ruined. It is unacceptable that two bathrooms had the same issue; clearly, proper maintenance was not done. This situation ruined my trip, and it felt like no one cared.

I loved the bottled products in the shower; they reduce the one use plastic of silly travel size packaging, and the products were not animal tested. Good step into the future. We wished we had an induction cooking plate or a countertop mini-oven. The reason for choosing a kitchenette is to avoid eating out/ordering take out every day. The couch/ sleeper was not comfortable, the mattress needs to be substituted. The breakfast room seating arrangements leave a lot of empty spaces. I would consider enclosing the outside seating area to provide more seating indoors.

Also annoyed that I paid for room with BREAKFAST but we couldn't eat a thing there. We're vegan and didn't even see almond milk for the coffee. We paid for it but had to go out for breakfast and pay for parking in the city. Feel ripped off. The breakfast food was real junk. No matter how many times we tell the Hilton Hotels that they should have plant-based milks and something to offer healthier people, they just don't listen.

The area was clean, aesthetic and the staff were accomodating, no long waits. Only one minor thing, the water went off when we were coming back from an outdoor walk and viewing. However, when we called the desk they immediately fixed the problem

Everything was fine

I find Home2 to be the perfect accommodations when we visit family in DC. It is right off the highway making it easy to get to and get around the area. It is our home away from home during our visits. The studio room, pool, work-out area, patio and grills give us everything we need to feel at home.

More breakfast choices was needed.

The staff are friendly. The muslim receptionist is friendly and always smile. The self laundry is a huge help . They have gym but i did not use it. Pool is also available for those who want to use it. Safe place with free parking but not quiet . This will be my firsr and last.

Very nice to have fridge, dishwasher and kitchen stuff in the room. The rooms themselves are a bit shabby but certainly functional. Location is right off the Beltway, and there are a lot of good restaurants in the area - Indian, Salvadoran, Mexican, etc.

More attention is needed for the bathroom and toilet water system.

Check-in was fast and easy, reasonable incidents fee, clean room , very comfortable bed and furniture. Clean towels and kitchenette. Welcoming. Very new hotel. Shopping walking distance. Pool area small but clean salted for warmth. 2 thumbs Up!! I would definitely stay here again. Oh quite!!

AC wasn’t working and room was too warm. Complained 2x to finally get a fan but the room hvac should be worked on. Room was otherwise clean. Tv remote was missing but they delivered me another one. Overall okay stay but could be a lot better.

Clean room, friendly staff and good breakfast.

The problem was simply this.We got to our hotel.We had to rush to our gymnastics meet.We did not get back to close to 1030 pm, and the internet was not working.The directv, or whatever service should they use was not working.And the thermostat was not working in the room. Initially, we picked this hotel because it had a pull.It was also not functional and was down to repairs.That was not told to us until we got there. Yes, we could have contacted the front desk. But as late as it was, it didn't matter. And we were just fed up with the whole thing. And at that point we just wanted to get through the night and get out of there, we don't normally have this kind of bad service with your organization every time we use Expedia, we've been happy, but not this time and I'm really disappointed.

The hotel was lovely in the room was nice the staff was good. Our ventilation system was not working. Despite efforts to repair it did not work. Because we had an adjoining room there was not an option for another adjoining room available. This made being in the room and sleeping quite uncomfortable especially if our shower was used and made the room humid because there are no vents in the bathroom. The adjoining room did not have hot water in the shower and had to use ours.

The room was clean and pleasant. Great to have full fridge, microwave, and kitchen sink! The room temp could not be controlled although there was a thermostat in the room. I was too hot at night and cold in the daytime. Had breakfast only one out of 5 mornings. Most often, they ran out before the end of the scheduled time. The self-made waffles were great! The staff person handling the food was harried and unhelpful. Front desk staff were civil but mostly unfriendly. Only one middle-aged woman was professional and friendly. The young people were mostly glum. Quite surprising. The location was convenient for Uber drop off and pickup. The Safeway grocery store across the street was miserable. Didn’t feel safe walking to it at night. There were 2-3 people lurking around the one night I walked over. I didn’t try again.

Everything about our stay was great -- except for a sliding pocket bathroom door that was extremely difficult to open/shut, and almost impossible for a woman to operate. Otherwise, all fine!

Front desk staff were extremely nice. Amenities were great. AC in the first room we were assigned was not working which caused us to have to change rooms which was an inconvenience. The second room the AC was almost too good. Overall a good stay. We will return in the future.

Thank you so much for providing a place for us to stay as a family of five with cats and dogs that we needed to be able to keep in separate rooms. The breakfast, the pool, and the laundry were very welcome.

Easy check in, had a very clean from! Appreciated the staff at front desk from start to finish. Pool was in excellent condition and water perfect temps. Nice breakfast in the morning.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming and they had run out of some things when we went down with 30 mins of service left.

I've stayed here several times and always will when I'm in the DC area. It's clean, has a great gym and is in a terrific location.

This is my 3rd stay and will definitely stay again.

There was one issue that the television did not work. A service individual came by and stated he had to go downstairs to reboot the TV. He never came back, and I was without television service for the day. On a good note, I received chat messages from management on my arrival. I did reply and received a reply. Also, I discovered I did not have my laptop charger. I went to the front desk and asked if they could help me. Alison was very nice and gave me a charger to use. I was very appreciative of the help received.

I wish you guys had a dinning area or cafeteria

Another excellent stay! My husband and I had a great weekend. Second time here and your front desk staff was welcoming once again. Very convenient to the beltway and in-laws with breakfast included.

Very nice hotel I highly recommend it

Safety of the guests is a concern at this property. A random stranger banged on our door at 3 am and was yelling loudly. The phone in our room was not working. We finally got a hold of the front desk staff via our cellphone. Our concern was downplayed by the front desk staff and security was not sent out to check on the situation.

I love the Home2 Suites. It is comfortable, spacious, always clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. I really appreciate the full kitchen. It helps me save money by fixing my own special diet meals. I look for Home2 Suites when I travel now. Thank you 😊 👍👍👍

The hotel was conveniently located off the highway. There was a supermarket, Starbucks, and other stores right across the street, easy walking distance. The hotel was very clean and the employees were very friendly and attentive. Definitely will stay again.

Everything was good

Overall, a good experience but the air conditioning was not working and our room got up to 80 degrees. Maintenance came in but could not fix it, all other rooms were booked so they gave us fans.

My only issue, I wish i was able to stay longer. This will be my go to hotel anytime I'm in there area. To the staff, thanks for everything you do and keep up the AMAZING WORK!

The bed was very uncomfortable, had to request more pillows, guest service was decent but calling down and requesting anything took about an hour for anyone to come up and deliver. The room was clean but I wouldn’t book more than a one night stay here again.

This place is perfect for those in need of a "home away from home". Great hot breakfast is a nice added touch.

Breakfast was wonderful, a lot of options on proteins fruits, is not like other places that the only option is a bagel , toast and a muffin, breakfast is really good and healthy, when I come back to Maryland again I will stay in this place . I absolutely loved it and recommend it.

Clean, nice amenities like the large kitchenette. Would be better if in-room WiFi was free and the continental breakfast was better quality and more cooked rather than reheated from frozen items.

I arrived Saturday at 1am and staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and had everything I needed to survive (I'm not a cook whatsoever, so I can survive with very little in terms of food and cooking, someone more keen to cooking might need to ask for a stove, which it's my understanding you can). I didn't use the amenities like the pool or gym but just knowing they were available is good. Place was clean and housekeeping was every other day, which was more than enough for me.

Nice location with great service. However, the rooms are a little outdated and parking was very limited. The location had an onsite dating event with heavy traffic on the main floor all weekend.

Only retractions were lumpy bed and pillow and sliding door to bathroom without a knob (by design) and; similarly, sliding door on shower without inside knob (only one side slid open). Not great shower pressure and sink took a while to get to hot water. Better to have provided two-ply toilet tissue. Overall, a great stay and would recommend highly. As good as it gets.

Perfect location close to many amenities. The rooms are spacious, modern & comfortable. Whenever we requested anything the staff brought it to our room quickly. Free parking was a great benefit. The breakfast had a nice variety. Will definitely stay again.

The room which has mini kitchen

Second time staying here. Room is create for senior citizen/limited mobility. Both days breakfast was just ok. Neighborhood seemed ok except for one house with late-night/early morning activities.

This hotel is very clean, has great breakfast, a pool, exercise room, plus washers and dryers for guest use. It is also close to a shopping center with Safeway grocery store and many restaurants.

My TV has been just dropping signal a few times. I have had to park on the street a few times but right next to the facility. A couple times my reservation got confused by staff, an in-house communication issue.

Clean, modern and safe. Parking is expensive but that is the norm in DC.

Great place to stay for UMD drop-off. Close to campus without being right next to it. Was able to accommodate us with 2 rooms with grab bars for the grandparents. Breakfast was more than adequate. Same with the fitness center.

In general, the hotel is nice and convenient.

We took nearby bus to DC. Bought food from safeway to prepare in full kitchen. Room was clean and staff friendly. We will come again

Stayed one night. Location is right off the highway. It was quiet. Laundry on site (inside the gym) was great. Quiet area about 10-15 mins away from nearby shops

This is the second time I have stayed there with pets and family. Friendly upbeat staff they clearly enjoy working there. Clean and comfortable in a safe neighborhood. Love all of the accoutrements. We will be back!

Everyone was so courteous and polite. The rooms were bigger than what we saw online and very neat. We enjoyed our 5day stay.

The property was good but they will need to install fans in the bathrooms to clean out smell and absorb the mist when you take a shower in them.

Little issue with the AC but staff was very accommodating in helping us get it figured out. Even let us use a fan and a mobile cooling unit- the icy breeze. It helped keep us cool until maintenance could come by. Everything else was great. Housekeeping was great. We never ate the breakfast, so I can’t speak for that. Looked like your regular continental though. Pool seemed fine, but we didn’t use that either.

Stayed one night here while passing through, the room was very nice, spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast as well. Convenient to bus and metro.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this property. The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was great, the fitness facility was good ,and the lobby was comfortable. My only criticism was that the people in the room above us were super loud. Sounded like they were constantly moving furniture or jumping up and down. But that's not the property's fault. We would stay again if we needed a hotel in the area.

Not a lot of choices for breakfast

The hotel itself is great but the food service is terrible. The online room service does not work due to security problems according to the hotel. Also, the complimentary breakfast is a joke since it is only till 9 am. For those of us who are on vacation with 3 kids, how can we manage to be up and ready for the free breakfast from 6-9? So, the hotel expect us to rush around on our holiday to make it to the complimentary breakfast? I absolutely do not recommend this place for families who are on vacation. Perhaps if you are on a business trip and can manage to be out and ready before 9, then by all means yes, stay at this hotel.

This hotel is low quality. I can hear every foot step on top of me. I can hear every single car drive by. The walls are paper thin. The rooms smell like old cigarette smoke and stale air. I’m going to take a loss and leave my reservation early. I’m having an awful time here and completely regret choosing this place based off of all the reviews I read on Expedia. Also the fridge makes a terrible buzzing noise. I don’t use this word often but I hate it here.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! I figured it would be "decent" from reviews. But it was nicer than anticipated. Rooms were spacious and up to date. The breakfast was great. And the whole hotel - rooms and common areas - was extremely clean! I'd stay here again!
