Reviews
Guests have mixed feelings about their stay at this hotel. While many appreciate the beautiful location, friendly staff, and good breakfast, there are consistent complaints about the cleanliness and condition of the property, particularly the carpets in the hallways and rooms.
- Beautiful location
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Dirty and stained carpets
- Property in need of renovation and cleanliness improvement

AC was down and it was 75-80° that weekend. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Michele at the front desk was very nice and helpful liked the sauna and had a nice workout No light above the sink also more towels would have been nice and the shampoo and conditioner and wash were empty and fell off wall very easily.

Waterfront, stairs to the beach, big windows, pool was amazing, great location to the shopping center. Walking distance to hops and drops, taco time, and a teriyaki place No restaurant or martini lounge, remodel in process- wont open until later this year

We were in town for our son's retirement from the Navy and stayed with several other family members. Overall we had a pretty good stay. The rooms, we saw 5 of them with all of our guests, were pretty well maintained, clean, and well stocked. The typical shower consumables were mounted on the wall, soap at the sink, ironing board, iron, coffee maker, and TV. The balcony looked out over the bay and used “Trex” style lumber so it was clean and smooth. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of bedding and pillows. The breakfast was well maintained and there were people there refreshing the food and getting guests more drinks or handling requests that they could. There was a pretty good amount of seating at breakfast and the area looked out over the bay. They had a fantastic coffee machine in the lobby that would dispense single servings of all kinds of coffee and hot chocolate. They put out cookies in the evening during check in time and provided some complimentary bottled water to guests at check in. The small store had a few items, at a premium, as expected. The lobby had 2 seating areas to congregate both with fire places but we were informed that something was wrong with the gas so they couldn’t turn them on for us. There are some conference areas on the 1st floor with movable walls that can be configured to different size groups. Parking was fairly open and I didn’t get a real sense of how full the hotel was but typically about 50% full in the evening.

Staff was great. Breakfast was good. Bar was closed. Seems to be understaffed. Coffee machine was out of coffee. Water filler needed a new filter. Was watching staff fill water pitchers for breakfast use at the water bottle filler. It was little easy to repair things. Timer in the hot tup was broken so it doesn’t turn off.

Michelle at front desk is amazing! She’s friendly and helped us when my son and I locked ourselves out to watch the blue moon! Overall staff are professional!

My fiancé and I had an absolutely great stay. We were happy from the check-in all the way to the check-out. The staff were INCREDIBLY friendly. Everyone who saw us greeted us well. I loved the exchange at the front desk. It didn’t just feel like in and out it felt like she (I’m extremely bad with names I apologize) was genuinely trying to make a connection and have a conversation. The room was outstandingly clean. The shower was AMAZINGG!!! I loved the scent of the included soaps and such. The breakfast was yummy!! I really enjoyed the toast & bacon! Again, everything was clean and friendly. I would totally recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Sliverdale!

Otherwise the room was neat and clean. The breakfast was awesome. Staff were very friendly and the cookies with free coffee and lattes were excellent. Wiuld definitely stay again.

it’s a great location and it looks like they’re going through some renovations. Unfortunately their thermostat was out of commission so we had to settle for a super dusty fan lol. thankfully the weather was nice and mild and AC was not needed so we managed. I would stay again for the location and helpful staff

Excellent mid rate hotel. Clean. Under renovation. Nice facilities. Incredible location. Older hotel that was bent modernized. Our room/floor was excellent and had been renovated too to bottom. Bathrooms, beds, AC everything as expected. Would stay again.
- 5/5
The construction but I understand it was needed
- 5/5
Breakfast was wonderful. Emma that works there was great always making sure we had what we needed and very pleasant
- 1/5
I actually had to get a different hotel. None of the amenities worked. They had no air conditioning. It was broke. The staff was rude and disrespectful and I only got half my money back horrible hotel.
- 5/5
The breakfast was ok but no meat like bacon or ham or something. The elevator i thing is getting replaced because there was writing on it the pool was closed. With all that the coffee maker in lobby was above normal for sure the view was amazing the staff was amazing there was only one lady in the breakfast area was sweet as a peach the rest of them were grumpy and did nothing to help out the food. If it was my hotel they would all be fired but the lady saying good morning to everyone thats just in Kitchen. The rest of the hotel was great and I would stay again for sure
- 5/5
Michelle at the front desk was very kind, she took our picture for us and cheered us on before our date night.
- 2/5
Hot tub was not working. The air conditioning unit wasn't working. Asked to switch rooms & there were no rooms with the air working. I asked the front desk if people are checking out in the morning & they had a room with the air working, if we could switch rooms. The next morning a new girl was at the front desk. When i explained about the switch room request, she had no idea what I was talking about. We got a fan for our room. Also I asked a housekeeper as we were leaving our room, how often do they clean the rooms, she said every day. So I assumed ste room would be cleaned that day. It wasn't. Do the next morning I went to the front desk & asked for a full service clean. When we came back to our room, it still didn't get cleaned.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 2/5
However, we were disappointed with the air conditioning units in both of our rooms. During the day, the rooms were freezing cold, which was challenging since three family members depended on me for various needs. At night, our room became uncomfortably hot, which was unfortunate. I raised this issue and received a box fan, but it didn’t help much. This discomfort led to my lower rating, despite everything else being wonderful. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast With the amazing beach front view of Silverdale.
- 3/5
Noisy. Had a really hard time falling asleep.
- 2/5
The hot tub wasn’t working and we paid $100 more so our kids could swim and hot tub. Also the shower drain in our room barely worked. So frustrating when we paid more for something nicer and it didn’t feel like it was nicer.
- 1/5
Nothing was up to par except friendly staff
- 3/5
The restaurant, lounge are closed for “renovation “, however, they did serve a courtesy well-preserved breakfast buffet and the staff there were very attentive . The pool and spa are closed supposedly because the phone isn’t working and it’s a safety thing. It so happened, the room phone didn’t work either. They have an interesting room cleaning schedule, which means your coffee supplies aren’t replenished but every other day unless you ask. Which isn’t explained on check-in. I shared a room with my sister and we needed the room serviced daily, but I will say, the cleaning staff were super helpful with providing us with clean towels and coffee supplies when we asked them. One especially, explained the strange cleaning schedule. All in all, I will be staying here again. I’m sure they’ll get things back opened.
- 4/5
Unfortunately the pool had to be closed for emergency maintenance, but the hotel did offer to cancel our reservation if we wanted to change to a property with a working pool. We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western.
- 5/5
The staff was very help out
- 5/5
Wonderful!!!!!
- 3/5
Booked largest room with fireplace, when we checked in we were told that the fireplace was turned off and we couldn’t use, also the bar restaurant was closed, we were told if we booked on their website instead of Expedia we would have known this.

I broke out in a rash on both my forearms from so thing in the bed. Maybe per dander
- 5/5
Fireplace still broken. Over all wonderful.beautiful view. Excellent breakfast. Corner units are the best!
- 5/5
We truly enjoyed our stay and were well received. When we return at some future date we can’t think of staying anywhere else . Thank you so much. James & Monica
- 3/5
The pool was the best part, although 20 minutes into our swim time, 30-40 people came in to have a party and took over all the chairs, ours with our towels and clothes included. They were rude and loud and we left pretty quickly after. The room was dirty and needed repairs on walls, corners, and bathroom tile. The bath tub drained slowly and left you standing in 2 inches of water. All of the back outside lights were off where I parked leaving it extremely dark.
- 4/5
Day shift front desk lady was to eager to leave. 5 o’clock hit and she was outta there. Even though I showed up we’ll before she put up her sign. She left a line of people for the poor night shift gal. She should of been a team player and stayed a few minutes extra to help her finish the line of people waiting. Gabe in housekeeping went the extra mile, as did Sherry our housekeeper. Nice folks. Fireplace didn’t work, jets on the tub didn’t work, wallpaper was peeling in the room a bit. Nothing dramatic. Pool was a little to cold, and not very handi accessible as my wife is in a wheelchair. You have to go outside to access it. Breakfast should stay open until ten. Otherwise a pleasant stay we will return. Staff was good. Room 102. One other thing, if you have a person in a wheel chair maybe put them closer to the front desk, not the very last room at the end of the hall.
- 4/5
It was really cold everywhere...pool, lobby, etc. and the hot tub kinda smelled like dog. It was ok and ok for what we paid.
- 5/5
I would use them again!!!! Loved it!
- 1/5
I asked for another room and was willing to pay and was told I was in an upgraded room. There were gapping holes in the wall in the bathroom that I stuffed with Kleenex because I was worried someone was watching me. I asked for a balcony to sit on and was given a room that was over the roof and had stacks as my view and couldn’t even fit a chair if I wanted to. Again, I was told I had an upgrade. If that’s your upgrade, that is terrible. In the evening I went to purchase water on through separate occasions. Two of the staff were kind and provided it for free, a small kind gesture. The other staff, the same that told me I had an upgraded room charged me for the water. Inconsistent
- 2/5
Staff was nice clean rooms but not sound barrier between rooms could hear all noise from people above. If you want quite go stay some were else or you'll hear the toilet flush the people stomping across the floor and the shower running. I will not stay there again .
- 4/5
The staff were particularly helpful and very nice. The breakfast was delicious. I rated 2 areas as "good" rather than "excellent" because the property is under renovation.
- 1/5
I am unable to rate any of the amenities because we didn't stay. We booked a handicap accessible room only to find out, upon arrival, they didn't have one. No phone call, email or text before we got there. We spent the next 4 hours calling and driving around the area trying to find a room. We ended up staying 30 minutes away (rather than 5 minutes) from the hospital I was having day surgery at the next day.
- 5/5
WiFi was good. The breakfast knocked it out of the park again!
- 2/5
Room was at 63 degrees f. It was 11:30pm by the time we got more heat. The fireplace was out of order!, so no ambiance and no heat. Finally got extra blanket, then got too hot and woke up and had to get rid of extra blanket. The hotel gave a $30 refund, but told me it has to be refunded through Expedia.
- 5/5
Staff was courteous and professional very helpful the ladies working in the dining room area for the free breakfast or courteous professional kept everything clean and they were helpful. Brought my toes to my table for me when it’s done. Will definitely keep this spot in mind on my next vacation.
- 5/5
Clean. Great breakfast. Staff was great.
- 5/5
Yes clean awesome service. Toliet over flow in our room. But otherwise ok. Pool was closed
- 5/5
The room was fine. There were two large holes in the bathroom wall about the diameter of my index finger. The light switch for the vanity light was tricky to get the light to stay on. Emma at the breakfast buffet was A++++. She was the most courteous, friendly and helpful person. Her personality brightened my mornings.
- 4/5
Staff was all very friendly and nice. We didn’t know restaurant was under construction and closed down when we booked it.
- 4/5
Nice room, some noise issues with plumbing and HVAC but theyre remodeling so understandable. Very nice breakfast bar and Emma, food mgr, was great. Would definitely stay again assuming the remodel is done.
- 1/5
Best Western is great. Expedia is not so great
- 5/5
Location is great
- 4/5
Breakfast was excellent. The pool was nice and large. Staff was friendly. Everything looked nice in the room except in bathroom area there were some screw holes in the wall where I think the towel racks used to be, it detracted from the fanciness - made it look a bit unfinished.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
They upgraded our view, which was awesome. Great staff. Beds not 100% but hotel was in the middle of renovations. Great location.
- 5/5
Love it
- 4/5
The staff at the front desk were all kind, courteous, helpful and had genuine smiles on their face which was much appreciated, the room was clean, but it smelled of smoke, and had a cigarette burned in the curtain. The breakfast was okay. Nothing special but we appreciated it none the less. The room with the view was spectacular.
- 2/5
Our first room was messy and the tub was disgusting. Fireplaces doesnt even work. Wont be coming again.
- 1/5
They notified us the Saturday before our stay that the hot tub is down, the pool was down, then we got there and let them know that that's the one thing we really wanted! So they did upgrade us! We came down later that day and we wanted to enjoy the restaurant and the martini lounge only to learn that they were both closed down! This was not noted on their website had it been we would not have booked this place! But the staff was very sweet they were very nice the room was nice The view was nice! But the amenities was all a total fail!
- 5/5
Overall, great weekend stay.
- 5/5
Clean rooms better than most breakfast and friendly staff
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly breakfast staff, complimentary espresso machines.
- 2/5
The balcony door was really drafty and I could hear wind coming through it all night long. There was a plug in that was not safe it pushed in to the wall when I tried plugging my phone cc after into it. The floor above us was extremely loud and squeaky when the people in the rooms were walking on it. Not the best experience
- 4/5
Good clean room and very good staff. One thing that should be communicated is that they only have one wheelchair available so it may be in use when you arrive. This is true for all hotels and not just the Best Western. In fact, due to liability issues, some facilities do not have wheelchairs.
- 4/5
Clean room, nice breakfast with great staff, good location
- 5/5
YES
- 3/5
The paint fumes in the elevator were stifling.
- 5/5
Room was spotless and Breakfast was great!
- 3/5
Room was great. Staff was awesome. Breakfast was one of the better and more upscale continental breakfasts I’ve seen and eaten. Pool access and maintenance need a lot of work. As an amenity I search for, I expect both to be clean and in good working order, at this property neither was the case. Hot tub heater was not working, but the tub had water and power. No sign. Anywhere. People found out the hard way the entirety of our 4 night stay. The pool was heated to almost hot tub temps but looked like it hadn’t been shocked in quite some time. Needless to say, we paid for a hotel with a clean and functional pool and hot tub, we got neither. This is all after you trek to the basement and walk a creepy hallway to the pool area. Maintain it or close it. Take it off of your amenity list. If you don’t care about the pool area, this was an absolutely wonderful stay with great staff, an awesome hot chocolate machine, and some most excellent fresh baked cookies in the evening. They are also VERY pet friendly. We travel with 200lbs of dog and the staff were wonderful along with more than enough room to exercise your furry fam.
- 4/5
The hotel is going through a renovation. It's a great place to stay but there were some challenges. There was an issue with no hot water (they messaged us ahead of time), the hot tub was broken, the restaurant was closed for renovation, and they changed all of the 3rd floor matresses while we were there. This was not the fault of the staff and they were amazing. They gave us a discount. We will stay there again because it was nice. It will be great when it is renovated.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly and close to downtown silverdale
- 2/5
The hotel had no hot water (we were notified of it the day we were to check in and we were offered a 30 refund, or a chance to cancel with no fee). We were initially told we would have to change rooms after one night - then put us in a different room. The room we did have smelled horribly like musty wet. The carpets were wet - so wet they soaked our socks completely within minutes. The wall paper was peeling. There was gum stuck on the blinds. The light in the bathroom was not completely working - and would flicker on/off the entire time. The hot tub wasn't working. They were doing renovations, and started painting in the hallway outside our door at 7:30 am.
- 3/5
workers were hanging around the front desk and chatting with the desk staff. It was a few minutes before they realized that actual customers were waiting to check in. The lady behind the desk finally asked for our information and barely looked at us during the entire check in. Not a professional experience at all. The shower head in the room has a very loose connection, and the plug in the tub was impossible to move at all... so it slowly filled up and slowly drained. The design of the soap dispensers is useless - it keeps breaking open just by pushing for soap. They should be replaced with something more modern. The place is being renovated so I hope that these kinds of things will be updated. Breakfast was typical and they had a good selection. The bar was out of service for renovation. The location is hard to beat. Right on the water with wonder views and good walks available and with transportation links to the Seattle airport and around right out front. But there are only lower chain restaurants in walking distance.
- 2/5
Simple breakfast but good
- 4/5
Yes its always great
- 1/5
No hot shower water or sink water. This was miserable.
- 3/5
need more cleaning inside a room.
- 4/5
hotel is a bit run down but the hotel is extremely quiet, great black out curtains and good breakfast in the am. They seem to be in perpetual construction and we had limited hot water for showers because of the construction. However the staff was excellent and kind, comfortable mattress and room temp.
- 4/5
I had a good stay.
- 4/5
Staff was amazing and exceptionally nice. King room with view was very spacious. Bed was comfortable. We weren't able to enjoy the breakfast, but did peak in to see what was served. It looked really good and a wide variety of breakfast foods to choose from. The hotel is undergoing renovations. Our room seemed as though it was still being worked on. All of the towel racks were removed from the walls in the bathroom which left us with 1 hook on the door to use and a bunch of big holes in the walls. The air return filter above the bathroom sink area was caked with dirt. Lastly, one of the mornings we had no hot water. Overall though, I would most likely stay here again for convenience and cost. I'm sure after the renovations it will be even better... And cleaner.
- 2/5
Food was in the hallway, there was trash on the floor in the room, and the room was filthy.
- 5/5
Breakfast was wonderful and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful
- 5/5
The staff was so very friendly, helpful and welcoming. From the staff member who checked me in, the amazing hostess/waitress during breakfast, the cool servers/bartenders from the restaurant and the staff member who checked me out... I appreciated the chats and conversations! If I come back to visit my son, I will definitely stay at Best Western plus in Silverdale again!! Thank you guys for your hospitality!!!
- 2/5
Had no hot water all day. Very inconvenient. Front desk seemed to not want to hear complaints.
- 5/5
Clean room comfortable bedrmmh
- 2/5
Lots of whole on bathroom wall , carpet smells like pee
- 1/5
Under construction non working elevator no hot water to shower loud upstairs tenants till 230am
- 3/5
There is no mention of the construction on the listing. Staff said it’s been going on for over a year. If we’d known that the pool and hot tub were closed, we would’ve gone to a different hotel. There was also no hot water for showers, both morning and evening, and we heard staff radio maintenance that the hot water heater was not working. The complimentary breakfast was excellent; the breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. Oh, and just to be nitpicky, the pillows were straight up awful—asked the front desk person if there might be alternative options and was told that, “the pillows are new.” Seriously, used a rolled towel instead!
- 5/5
The Staff was pleasant and friendly.
- 4/5
Love our room and the view. Balcony, fireplace and spa tub. Water was in room for tub was not hot. Barely warm. But everything else was good. Hot water, would have been excellent.
- 4/5
My room did not have hot water, only lukewarm. The bed was comfortable. I was very disappointed that my balcony view was obstructed by the roof of the floor below. I was not made aware of construction that was ongoing prior to my stay. The hotel staff was not terribly friendly, the woman acted like me using Hotels.com was an insult to Best Western. There were ashes and cigarette butts in the track of the sliding glass door. There were holes in the walls in bathroom where maybe towel holders had been. This hotel came highly recommended and I do not feel it lived up to what I was told prior. I will say that the breakfast offered was good.
- 1/5
Room had thick dog smell. Jacuzzi closed.
- 2/5
The staff was friendly and the room was clean, but the disclaimer that they were under rennovation was an understatement. One elevator was out of order, and there were capped off wires in the lobby in addition to the stated inaccessable amenities. My room felt clean and safe, but the water was barely over warm, the heating system was extremely loud, the hall light took a long time to turn on and the bathroom light fixture and towel racks had been removed but bare holes were left in the wall. At $185 per night this was sorely over priced.
- 5/5
The staff at the breakfast room was very personable and helpful. Daisy and Emma were very friendly.
- 2/5
Pool and jacuzzi were not working, facilities were really run down/under construction. No warm water in our shower!! It felt like an overpriced motel with nursing home vibes. Really bad value for the money.
- 1/5
The phone inside the hotel room wasn’t working. There was no hot water. We were told that we could have a new room the next day. And that we would have a refund for the first night but we never received a refund for the first night, even though we had to take a cold shower. The bathtub wouldn’t even keep water when plugged. The maintenance person couldn’t even fix it.
- 3/5
The building was nice except the construction going on in the lobby made check in very loud and awkward. They made up for it with fresh cookies so no love lost 💕🍪
- 2/5
The air conditioner in our room was not controllable. IT was either on at 65 or not at all. You could turn the temp up but it seemed every time we did it got colder. The fireplace in the room was non functioning. There were no screens on the patio doors so we could not leave those open to cool off the room without letting in all the bugs. The pool was broke down as well which we found out after the long walk to the pool area. The sign on the door said under maintenance. Several hours later we asked the reception instead of going down the to the basement and all the way down 2 long hallways where the pool was. At that time we were told the pool was closed until the following week. Signs in the elevator would have been nice.
- 2/5
The lobby was a safety hazard look like there was a lot going on and a lot of fixing up the place with no signage or anything , my room did not feel clean I pretty sure I was bitten a few times from fleas and or bug bites :( the sheets was dirt or had flea dirt on them , for a beach hotel it was t what I expected I’m definitely disappointed, not sure if I’ll be back
- 4/5
They were doing some renovations. Was not a problem. Was sorry the Jacuzzi was not working for the week plus I was there. Gladly the pool was very clean and cool. Staff was wonderful. They were very helpful and looked after our needs. I really loved the breakfast every morning, staff there were helpful and kind. I really loved my stay at this hotel.
- 4/5
And the lights in the bathroom are weird. Light goes on when you walk in but then it goes off in a few minutes.
- 4/5
Waterview was beautiful
- 4/5
Hotel is under renovation so some areas are torn up. Complimentary breakfast buffet is very nice.
- 5/5
Renovation is in process. Should be updated and nicer when finished
- 3/5
I stayed at this hotel for two nights and ran into a major issue with ants in the room. The first night, after leaving some food on the table for a few hours, I came back to find a large trail of ants going back and forth to it. I cleaned everything up and thought it was handled, but the next day the same thing happened again near my laptop and desktop. On top of that, the subfloor by the balcony felt soft and squishy, like it was rotting. The location is nice, but the building is clearly older and has a serious bug problem that needs attention.
- 5/5
This hotel was easy to access was very clean. Check-in was easy. The staff was great. The food was good.
- 4/5
Good service
- 5/5
Staff very friendly & will to help. The breakfast was great with the various choices you could make. Rooms were comfortable & roomy. Really like the 24 hrs coffee/tea availability in the lobby area. Looking forward to staying there again in a future trip.
- 5/5
This hotel is amazing! I’m glad I made the last minute switch to Best Western. Super clean, staff were friendly and attentive. Huge shout out to the breakfast attendant helping an older gentleman with the waffle maker. My kiddo loved the pool! The room was spacious (and clean) and we enjoyed the view from the balcony. We definitely plan to be back!
- 3/5
The lounge was closed when we were told it would be open.
- 1/5
Arrived to find property is being renovated. Lobby in disarray. Waited at the front desk for 10 minutes before anyone showed up to check us in. That single person was only one on duty. I specifically chose this hotel because it said they have a restaurant and lounge. At check in when I asked which way to the restaurant we were informed that a cook hadn’t shown up for his shift and the restaurant would not be open. We asked if the lounge was open … nope because apparently it can’t open if there is no food to serve. Right when I walked in to the room to use the bathroom noticed several dark hairs on the bathroom floor. If we hadnt of driven over 12 hours the last 20 hours we would have left. Very unfortunate for us and horrible for the property and Expedia should have reported the hotel was under remodel. We would NOT have chose this hotel !!
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay.
- 2/5
There was no hot water, the hot tub wasn’t working, and the pool was freezing cold, as cold as ocean water and you could not warm up in it
- 2/5
I was given a "water view" room I requested. Room was cold, could not manage the thermostat, we just turned off the appliance. "Water view" was the top of the covered pool space. Not ideal. Returned late evening to find no hot water, I figured it was due to some late night showers, didn't report to ft. Desk. A small dog across the hall was yapping for a long time, again no report to management. We slept in, then found no hot water at all for morning showers. Overall, a property under under construction upgrades. Very dated, overnight desk employee was extremely busy, condition of property does not justify the price. Not up to standards.

I asked several times for more blankets, towels and kleenex. I was told by the same person more than once they would bring it to our room and they never did. My kids both had a cold and it would have been nice to help are for them but instead I ended up going out and purchasing the things that should have been provided.

The staff was very nice, rooms were clean & the breakfast was pretty good too. During our stay, they were remodeling. Construction and a cold hot tub were the only negatives.
- 2/5
No hot water
- 2/5
The water heater broke ! No one could take a shower that morning This is first time I have ever heard that happened in major hotel chain ! Ridiculous! The hotel staff told me I will get my credit back for $50 from Expedia. I am waiting !
- 1/5
No hot water available, soap dispensers in the room were empty. No showers except in ice cold water
- 3/5
Did not know the property was under renovations, the hot tub was broken and the carpet in the room needed to be cleaned.
- 5/5
The hotel was under remodel but other than that everything was great.
- 5/5
The staff is always very friendly and nice . Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is always hot n fresh with wonderful staff members .
- 2/5
Major lobby construction that I did not know about.
- 5/5
Loved this place . Room was very nice . Loved the French doors and the balcony with the water view . Great breakfast. Highly recommend.
- 3/5
Under construction. Smelly and potentially dangerous. Construction debris and new furniture in halls. Paint on floor.
- 4/5
The construction was a mess, however our room was nice.
- 2/5
No ice machines, falling ceiling tiles along hallway. Pool was very nice but did not open until 5:00 pm Beach area was very nice, but seriously not maintained by hotel.

Stellar
- 5/5
They are under going construction but overall it’s a very nice hotel. I would stay there again.

- 4/5
Had a pleasant stay
- 4/5
The rooms were nice size beds were comfortable and very clean
- 4/5
It was a great experience for our little get away
- 3/5
The location right on the water was great. The hotel itself is old and grungy. It looks like they are remodeling. They need it! Location is the reason for the cost but once they remodel maybe they can redeem themselves.
- 2/5
This was the ugliest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in — it was dark, arranged stupidly and with a broken balcony door. We asked for chairs for the balcony so that we could view the water but after an hour and two requests, none came. The soap dispenser by the sink had no soap. There were dead bushes in planters on the patio.I would say that the place is poorly managed. The ongoing construction makes the place look awful and smell like wet paint. The breakfast was decent and the bed was comfortable, though.

The room we were assigned was the nosiest room I’ve ever slept in. Outside our room were vents that you could hear all night long.
- 5/5
The property was currently under construction and understaffed, but that didnt stop the staff from being completely professional. Delia, the gal with the sunflower tattoo on her hand, the cleaning young lady who was cleaning on my floor that day and the next. The young lady closing the lounge at night were all amazing.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing! Room was amazing and amenities were great!
- 5/5
Love this property. Love the outdoor seating area and firepit. Have stayed here a couple times
- 3/5
Had a great view! Staff was friendly.
- 4/5
Clean rooms, they were doing upgrades when I was there so no Pool or spa unfortunately and a lot of remodeling going on, thought it was a bit overpriced for all the remodeling and no pool or spa available, but great customer service (especially the breakfast room attendant, I didn’t catch her name but she was going above and beyond for all the customers! Clean rooms, peaceful spot to watch sunsets and sunrising by the beach behind the hotel!
- 3/5
Undergoing renovations. Some areas great. Other areas not so nice. Carpet in front of bathroom in my room was wet.
- 2/5
I get renovations. But when you walk in to a big wooden board and then you go up a dirty elevator and then when the elevator opens to your floor and it is just dust and dirt and boxes everywhere then you hope that your room is nice, but then the carpet is frayed there’s tissue coming out of a hole in the wall. Your soap dispenser falls off the wall. You pay more for a balcony, but you don’t even get chairs it was very disappointing.

We attempted to check in at 6:40 p.m., only to be told our room wasn’t ready. When I returned at 7:30 p.m., we were given a completely different room than what I booked. I had specifically paid extra for a room with a patio and courtyard view, but was told by the front desk clerk that they were sold out and there was nothing she could do. Instead, I was directed to call Expedia, who ended up talking to the hotel clerk and I was told by Expedia staff that the hotel was offering a $50 refund for the inconvenience. To make matters worse, the hotel is undergoing renovations, which came with unpleasant smells and construction mess throughout the property. Overall, it was a frustrating experience that didn’t match expectations or the price paid.
- 2/5
Not worth for the money you pay.
- 3/5
Breakfast was great! :)
- 4/5
Decent Room Nice Stay
- 4/5
Great stay, I understand you’re under construction but the ac didn’t work in our room
- 1/5
No where during booking does it mention that this hotel is under construction. It made getting around in the hotel very uncomfortable and difficult. We were on the 3rd floor because there was no ADA rooms available. I had very difficult time getting to my room because the carpet was pulled back away from the tile as we got out elevator. The wheels of my chair kept getting stuck in the space. Garbage laying in the hallway that sat their our whole stay so no one is cleaning the halls of the hotel which is rather unsanitary. We had a friend that was booked in one of the ADA rooms so I went to their room to shower and they are a joke. They advertise a ADA shower however a standard wheel chair doesn’t fit through the doorway. So wasn’t able to shower during my stay. Overall was not impressed and for the price I paid to stay here I expected better accommodations. Won’t book here again.

Property was under renovation,

Nice hotel!!
- 3/5
Great view of bay outside. Some things in room did not work properly or supplies were empty....like body wash for shower and fan system for room. Had to ask management several times to get help.

The floors are completely filthy and haven’t been vacuumed in probably weeks, if ever. Our room smelled like mold. Unfortunately the only reason we stayed is because our room was non-refundable and my partner just had surgery (only reason we stayed) and moving to another location would be too much for him. He had to suffer through the extremely loud jackhammer on the floor below him. The only positive thing I have to say is, the staff was really kind. But I feel for them because they I am sure are trying to keep customers happy through all the issues they are forced to work with. I will never stay here again. Also, shame on Expedia too.. This should be announced as under renovation.. the photos are old and do not depict what the hotel actually looks like. The place has been flooded years ago, fyi.. probably heavily mold riddled.. hence why I smelled it.
- 5/5
The second day the hot tub was working it was ice cold the first day but the kids loved the pool
- 2/5
Had to relocate our room as the air conditioner died. Maintenance man said we shouldn't have been given that room to begin with. Housekeeping came once and did a poor job. Wallpaper loose and mold around the bath tub.
- 3/5
The hotel is in the process of remodeling to change to a doubletree hotel. The rooms have been mostly remodeled. We received a handicap room when not requested and they need to do something about the shower water getting all over the bathroom floor. Vary dangerous for slipping on wet tile floors. The location is great on the water and breakfast was good. I’ll wait for remodel to finish before going back.
- 4/5
we stay often and enjoy the specious rooms and water views. the property is in renovation and that is exciting for future stays. a bit noisy at the moment but staff was very helpful.

Hotel was under construction. Room was dirty with dust all over surfaces. I'm trying to upland a picture of our dusty hand print on the desk in the room. Room was noisy and we didn't get any sleep. Would not recommend this place, especially given the price.
- 3/5
The room was hot, breakfast was good, view beautiful.

Breakfast

Under construction and the cost of the room when compared to the quality was way off. Room was old with old carpet and things broken. No hot water when taking a shower. Overall hotel was dirty and dysfunctional. Not worth $276, not even worth $100 for the one night.
- 3/5
The property is under heavy construction…not a surprise that was delightful. Stayed previous times and have enjoyed my stay, however, this one was not enjoyable.
- 3/5
Was a nice place, wish I would of known about the construction going on, it pushed us to a two double beds vice the booked king bed, and was never informed until I opened the door, the construction woke us up every morning at 7, breakfast area was super nice and the staff was awesome and accommodating as much as they could be. If the construction is done I would 100% stay here again.
- 5/5
Stay was good and bed was comfortable weird door to bathroom arrangement
- 3/5
Still undergoing some renovations on my floor. Loud noise from AC under my window. Breakfast was good.
- 2/5
Though packed, the breakfast staff ensured the breakfast bar was fully stocked with food and they did provide the extra pillows as requested.
- 5/5
The A/C in our room was broken but the staff did their best to make it comfortable for us and adjusted our bill for the inconvenience.
- 3/5
Overall a good experience. Friendly staff. Cleanliness was an issue.
- 4/5
It was good no real complaint other then the construction but it didn’t really bothered me
- 2/5
The room itself was clean and in order Breakfast was terrible as there was a large group of high-school sports teams that had picked everything clean. On top of that, the breakfast area was closed at 9 a.m. sharp with the breakfast staff locking us in. I had to ask to be let out and asked why they felt it necessary to lock us in, and they stated that there was an emwrgency door near the windows. Inexcusable in my opinion. I will say that the woman who checked us in was awesome!!!
- 4/5
Staff was great. Pool was freezing and hot tub wasn’t very warm. Not sure if they’re remodeling but it looked like it. Mouse poop in the hall on the way to the pool. No towels at the pool.
- 4/5
we stay for one night only our first time there , it was nice
- 5/5
Easy check-in, kind and competent staff, beautiful clean rooms. We will definitely stay again!
- 5/5
The hot tub and pool is amazing beds are cozy
- 5/5
Great location. Great room. Some construction going but not bad.
- 4/5
There is a lot of refurbishing going in. Pool was closed for this reason
- 4/5
It was perfect for our stay
- 3/5
The website should specify when they are having renovations and maybe discount the price; especially if the room is in the middle of the renovation area. I was staying there with my two kids and it felt so unsafe and hard to breath sometimes.
- 3/5
They are in process of a much needed remodel. It will be nice once done
- 2/5
Overall room, views, breakfast and staff were good. Construction was throughout, had to access indoor pool from outdoors, was not informed needed to request cleaning daily and no ac in gym.

After checking Best Western website, I booked through Hotels.com. I paid for the room at the front desk. This stay was for my son, his wife and their two children, age 4 years old and 18 months. I had requested a crib for my granddaughter. I booked this room well in advance before they arrived. My son and daughter-in-law informed me that they were in room 318, 3rd floor. It turns out that the hotel has been remodeling since January 2025. No where on Best Western or Hotels.com website mentions that the hotel is being remodeled. The floor was being drywalled with repairs, taping and mudding and sanding of the walls (between 9am to 4pm). My son and daughter-in-law called the front desk requesting a room change but was told there were no other rooms available. They spent 4 nights in this room. Additionally, the room had no outlets on one side of a bed and had to run an extension cord for powet. Only one outlet for USB cable. You would think that Best Western would have put a family with small children in an area where ghere was NO CONSTRUCTION was being done as well as letting it's customers know about the remodeling be done on thrre hotels. Just really poor concern for families and little children. Additionally, the door to the room would not close properly.

We found property was u see renovation
- 3/5
Did not know they are in the middle of a remodel. Noisy and messy.
- 4/5
Was just what was needed for a one night stay.
- 3/5
The hotel was under a renovation that we did not know about. Nothing in any communication mentioned that. A portion of the hotel was updated and it was not a busy night. We were not on a wing that was updated. We were the last room down a dirty hallway with a stain filled carpet leading up to our room. The room was ok and really no complaints other than thin walls. For the price they charged, we should have gotten a better room or a discount.
- 3/5
Under contruction
- 4/5
Its still pounding throught the walls smh
- 1/5
We stayed five nights in three different rooms. First room thermostat didn’t work and had to have maintenance fix it. Changed rooms after extending our stay. Second room the toilet was clogged and maintenance had to get us to change rooms so that could snake it. Third room smelled musky and smoky. Breakfast was good though and the staff was nice. They were in the middle of renovations.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Great location , quite and comfortable.
