Reviews
The hotel reviews collectively express a positive sentiment, with guests appreciating the beautiful property, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. Many guests also enjoyed the breakfast and live music in the bar. However, there are some concerns about the cleanliness of the hot tub and the quality of the food in the restaurant.
- Beautiful property
- Comfortable rooms
- Hot tub cleanliness
- Restaurant food quality
- 5/5
Beautiful. Peaceful. Great place to relax.
- 3/5
It’s a beautiful location but the property looks very tired. It needs a remodel badly. The air conditioner was so loud!
- 5/5
Beautiful place! Clean, pretty and well taken care of . Great breakfast ! 10/10
- 5/5
Beautiful grounds and spacious room and friendly staff
- 4/5
Great food but rooms were a bit dated
- 5/5
Such an amazing experience
- 5/5
Breakfast was overrated online.
- 4/5
Gardens and views were amazing. Proximity to Silverton and the Falls State Park is great. Could improve on breakfast variety.
- 5/5
Very helpful staff. Enjoyable and comfortable stay. Will be keeping this gem in mind for the future.
- 5/5
Access to the gardens and Gordon house was great
- 5/5
This is a fantastic place to stay. Our room was quiet and clean and the beds were comfortable. These three are my basic criteria. In addition, the setting was lovely, the lounge and entertainment were a treat, the breakfast was delicious, and access to the stunning Oregon Gardens delightful. The drive from I-5 at Salem was surprisingly easy, through farmland and past The Willamette Pie Company (a must-stop). I'll be back!
- 5/5
We can't wait for our next stay here is the best way to sum up our review. Clean, well appointed, and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and the location, oh my goodness, so beautiful.
- 5/5
Amazing little resort in a quiet historic town. Will be back again!
- 5/5
The hotel was wonderful. The grounds were beautiful and entry into the gardens was free. An added bonus to our stay
- 5/5
We enjoyed the hot tub after dinner, then watched a movie in our room next to the amazing fireplace and complimentary channels. We will be back when we come Oregon.
- 5/5
The landscaping around the property was beautiful and well kept. However, some exterior maintenance details needed attention, such as patios and walls where birds and winter weather had visited, and spider webs on outdoor lanterns. Also the resort is storing its winter-market-village vendor shacks in a large corner opposite some of the guestroom buildings, which I found a bit unsightly. All in all, we would stay again though!
- 5/5
The rooms were very well laid out and clean. The staff was helpful and more than happy to help
- 5/5
Clean room great staff breakfast was very good. We love this place.
- 5/5
What a unique gem of a hotel! Early morning access to walk the gardens after a hot breakfast was the best way to start my day. I'm glad I found this location.
- 5/5
Great Great Great Great Great Great
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Our stay was lovely! The staff was so helpful and friendly, the gardens are beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious
- 5/5
Amazing breakfast, comfortable bed, clean room! Will come back and stay again for another staycation!
- 3/5
Room clean but very dated
- 5/5
The closeness to the Oregon Gardens & the beauty of the placement of the houses to the foliage
- 5/5
Great gardens!
- 4/5
Clean room and great shower! Breakfast was good, but mostly sweet stuff - savory and vegetarian option low
- 5/5
Such a peaceful place, natural beauty all around. So nice to have the restaurant and lounge with live music right there. Easy to walk around the grounds and Gardens and even into the town of silverton! Check out the Frank Lloyd Wright House as well!
- 5/5
Great stay resort quality amenities. I wasn’t able to take part in the breakfast.
- 5/5
So nice to be right next to the gardens (which are lovely) and get free admission being a guest at the resort. Nice room with a small private patio. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast. Downtown Silverton, with its many murals, is just a short drive away.
- 5/5
We loved our stay here! It was in a beautiful location with a very clean room, comfy beds, and an excellent breakfast. We enjoyed our morning walk around the gardens and loved the location for our visit to Silver Falls State Park. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.
- 5/5
Our room was large and cozy. Our bed was comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep. We didn't use the fireplace, but definitely would have if the weather had been cooler. In the morning, we enjoyed our coffee on the private patio which was nice, except for the garden snake friend we made. :). We enjoyed the evening in the Fireside Lounge and the happy hour specials. We missed the live music that evening, but were told it was great. Overall a great find and we'll definitely return one day.
- 5/5
Clean room very well air-conditioned, staff is wonderful. Beautiful grounds and gardens. Restaurant and lounge on site..
- 5/5
I stayed for the benefit of entering the Gardens early. The gardens were gorgeous!! The resort was so lovely and convenient. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The private patio on the back of the room was perfect for coffee. Would 100% stay again.
- 5/5
Lovely property, comfy bed, and amazing staff. We are already looking to come back!
- 5/5
Great place to stay, great live music and a cute city to walk around in.
- 5/5
Room was nice and clean. Staff were excellent. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. We will be back for sure!
- 5/5
Loved the location, and the quiet, peaceful room.
- 5/5
Breakfast is pretty good and the staff are all lovely.
- 5/5
Such a beautiful setting near the Oregon Gardens. So nice to have spacious rooms in separate buildings on the grounds. Very reasonable as stay included breakfast and admission for both of us to the Oregon Gardens next door. Breakfast included eggs and sausage and all sorts of sweets.
- 5/5
This place was pretty. There is a lounge off the lobby and a restaurant with great food. You can access the garden, but we didn't do that.
- 5/5
Wonderful breakfast, great room with a comfy bed. We enjoyed everything and the gardens were so lovely.
- 5/5
Nice property, descent breakfast , easy to access the garden.
- 5/5
This is our second stay here and has become one of our favorite places to stop on Long trips through Oregon. As a relaxing resort experience. There's a good restaurant on site that always has live music and good food. We love the hot tub there and the pool. It's dog friendly and staff is super nice. The buffet breakfast is house made and wonderful. Then you get to step out and enjoy the beautiful gardens of the Oregon Garden all at a reasonable price. What could be better? How about a Frank Lloyd wright house on site that you can tour or at least walk around and look at?
- 4/5
My only criticism: the coffee making apparatus is awkward to use. I managed to make a cup. Set it up just before you make it. I wished I'd brought my own hot pot, and pour-over filter and mug because I truly dislike the waste of hotel room coffee. The dining room serves good dinners. Maybe offer some updates: instead of plain hummus, vary it: addition of hummus with canned stuffed grape leaves and jicama veggies. A baked potato with stuffings. Baked beans and German sausage (meat, veg choice.) Breakfast in the dining room was delicious, old fashioned biscuits, gravy, eggs, etc. The plain yogurt and granola tasted great. I enjoyed looking at the landscaped grounds while sipping coffee. Very nice beginning to the day.
- 5/5
Typical continental breakfast.
- 5/5
This was our second stay. The service is impeccable and the grounds are beautiful. We love everything and will definitely stay again
- 5/5
Nice place for staying.
- 5/5
Nice place with good amenities and friendly staff. Great location. For an overnight getaway from Portland, it's a real bargain.
- 5/5
2nd time staying here. Enjoyed it like last time. Stayed with a 2 year old who loves the garden to stretch legs and wander
- 5/5
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and well managed. The botanical gardens were beautiful and a pleasure to walk through. Loved the electric fireplace in the room.
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
Beautiful place to stay. The gardens and view were quintessential Oregon beauty. The room was clean, comfortable and the fireplace was a nice touch.
- 4/5
Nice atmosphere for breakfast in the restaurant with a view of the gardens.
- 5/5
This is such a lovely hotel in a beautiful town! I was excited about going on a hiking trip to nearby Silver Falls State Park and lucked out booking this place. It’s attached to a beautiful garden that you get free admittance to as a hotel guest. I don’t know if it’s always this way, but the garden is open until 4 to the general public, but open until 7 for hotel guests, so we got to ramble around lilacs and beautiful ponds almost completely on our own. So restful and beautiful! And the room was great, the bed was super comfortable and the room had a great AC and fireplace, as well as a really good showerhead (very appreciated after hiking 10 miles). The free breakfast buffet was just fine, but I would avoid the cornbread bacon muffins. Would absolutely stay here again if we are ever near the area.
- 5/5
The entire experience was excellent. We would highly recommend the resort. A beautiful setting with excellent service and restaurant
- 3/5
Like the fireplace and ceiling fan but the A/C that we much needed in the evening came on and off every few minutes and was right by my head, so i slept like crap. I wish it would have either stayed on or off and not toggled all night long every 2-3 minutes. Continental Breakfast was really good, variety changed daily, staff helpful. Loved that there were gardens and Frank Lloyd Wright house on the property. Wish I had time to see the gardens and sit in the hot tub. Next time.
- 5/5
Clean and cozy room, front desk staff friendly and helpful, staff in the restaurant and lounge top notch, dinner AND continental breakfast great food!
- 5/5
Amazing place to stay with great customer service
- 5/5
It was great!
- 5/5
Loved this place!
- 4/5
Yes
- 5/5
Location staff food was wonderful ! highly recommend!
- 5/5
A beautiful experience! All of it! The grounds are stunnung and the staff so kind and friendly.
- 3/5
Apparently if you want the best rooms the resort has to offer, you need to book directly with the resort. I inadvertently booked through an Expedia sponsored site months in advance and was put into a pet friendly building when I didn't book for a pet friendly room. The room was pretty worn with old blood stains in the bathroom that I finally asked the housekeeping staff to clean on our 3rd day. Our accommodations were disappointing. Otherwise the resort was nice, gardens are lovely, nice location.
- 5/5
Excellent choices with fresh baked breads and muffins. Delicious homemade compotes. Every thing tastes good and the coffee was also very good
- 4/5
Nice room (shower especially). A bit dated. Patio overlooking the Gardens. Great complimentary buffet breakfast. Restaurant served good food. Live music in the bar. Free admission to the adjacent Oregon Gardens. Have visited twice. Only drawbacks were an empty bottle of hair conditioner and couldn’t get the coffee maker to work (but free coffee in the lobby.)
- 5/5
Everything was amazing. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious
- 5/5
The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming! We were at the Oregon Garden to celebrate our anniversary and it was perfectly peaceful, romantic, beautiful, and fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and I can't think of a thing to complain about!
- 4/5
Property and everything was good except pool closure when I stayed and this was a major disappointment
- 4/5
Property was clean and welcoming. Restaurant served high quality food and "tavern" live music was very enjoyable. We did not experience the breakfast and the spa was closed (Easter).
- 5/5
Great place to stay with family
- 5/5
Comfortable homey stay, nice breakfast
- 5/5
Clean room, staff very accommodating and great breakfast!
- 5/5
Brief one night stay and plan to return to experience all there is to experience.
- 5/5
Wonderful as always
- 5/5
Amazing view. Amazing area. Amazing staff. I can't recommend this place enough!
- 5/5
Along with everything else, the breakfast buffet was excellent. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Great!
- 2/5
Ants in room. Coffee maker broken. EV charger broken.
- 5/5
A wonderful property. Was rather disappointed that the garden gift store closed right as we were able to check into the hotel. That didn’t make sense v
- 5/5
Great room, clean, quiet, patio
- 4/5
Clean room with vaulted ceilings.
- 5/5
A perfect first time. We’ll be back.
- 5/5
Wonderful resort, good food, nice music, thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
- 5/5
I love this hotel. The rooms are so comfortable, the new menu is great, and the staff are courteous and kind.
- 5/5
Great place to visit
- 5/5
Beautiful atmosphere. Wonderful rooms. Attentive staff.
- 5/5
The resort was gorgeous and the staff was so friendly! So quiet and peaceful being tucked away. I would love to come peak spring to see it when everthing is in full bloom. Ill definitely have to come back with my mother who visits from Texas she would love this place as well!
- 2/5
Rather dirty. Woke up to ants EVERYWHERE!! Staff didn’t seem to care. Was wondering why it was so cheap.
- 4/5
Clean room lovely setting and grounds. HVAC very loud. Breakfast underwhelming
- 5/5
Staff very nice room ready early, dogs allowed, lounge was very good
- 3/5
The room was fine. The Garden View Restaurant had terrible service with a two hour wait and then messing up the order.
- 5/5
Easy check in and check out. Fireplace heat was cozy. Full complimentary breakfast.
- 5/5
Staff were very courteous and we were allowed to check in early. Room very clean and welcoming with fireplace going and TV on with welcoming personal message. Enjoyable dinner, fun evening in the lounge with a musician/comedian to entertain us. Wonderful breakfast.
- 5/5
Beautiful as always!
- 5/5
Beautiful room , comfortable twin size beds wonderful location
- 5/5
The room was clean, the gardens were amazing, and the food and entertainment was delightful. Plus this place is dog friendly!
- 4/5
The room was great, and the staff was very courteous. There was quite a bit of confusion over the availability of services during certain hours, but this was neither here nor there.
- 5/5
Great stat
- 4/5
Really fun to attend the holiday lights and market
- 5/5
Everything was amazing. Love it there
- 5/5
Cozy, comfortable hotel with a nice breakfast and good restaurant on site
- 5/5
Staff was super nice. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was terrific. Thanks for a great stay : )
- 5/5
Courteous staff, nice room. The fireplace in the room was a nice surprise
- 2/5
I have a toddler, we spilled strawberry lemonade on the chairs and the bedding was a coffee spill. I was charged $375 for a mess I could have cleaned for $6 cleaner bottle and a rag.
- 5/5
Ms Heaven ( front desk) was superb at her job, very helpful, pleasant & attentive to our needs. Ms. Sheila was very quick with our food and drink orders. We had a great birthday night experience!!
- 4/5
The room was warm and we had a wonderful breakfast.
- 4/5
The breakfast was excellent, The setting is just amazing.
- 5/5
All around good exo
- 5/5
Every staff member was extremely helpful and polite!
- 4/5
Room was great! Food was really good in the lounge but we got up charged from what the menu said was. Not happy about that at all.
- 5/5
Staff was wonderful
- 5/5
Yes. Room was excellent and very clean.
- 5/5
Wonderful experience. Clean, quiet, and ever so charming. We stayed two nights over Christmas and it was so magical with all the lights. Friendly staff, clean room, pet friendly.
- 5/5
The room, the grounds, the staff, the area, the amenities and the food are all top notch!!!
- 4/5
Overall good experience, decent breakfast, cozy clean rooms. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Light display was an added and unexpected bonus.
- 5/5
Always great service and clean room
- 4/5
Very nice room. Amenities of pool and entertainment not available and gate to hot tub locked. Disappointing.
- 4/5
Room, garden, spa, food and live music were all amazing! Highly recommend staying here!
- 5/5
Amazing stay!
- 5/5
Fireside lounge was awesome! Great service and entertainment. Rooms are very cozy and clean!
- 5/5
So perfect
- 5/5
Nice room with plenty of space. Bed was a little soft
- 1/5
Rooms were dirty
- 5/5
The staff were beyond friendly and went above and beyond for their guests. The rooms were very cozy, the fireplace definitely came in handy while we stayed. The headboard on the bed, however, is made out of metal, not very comfortable to lean upon. Thankfully we asked for extra pillows and received a plentiful amount. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, albeit repetitive. We will definitely stay again when visiting Silverton.
- 5/5
Well maintained and in time to see the christmas lights go up. Very impressive and a must see.
- 5/5
Quiet, clean, and front desk staff excellent. The live music in the restaurant and bar that evening made the getaway an excellent experience.
- 5/5
The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant and lounge are both fantastic — delicious food, great cocktails, and live music in the evenings make it extra special. Being able to stroll through the Oregon Garden right from the resort is such a unique perk. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation and natural beauty — can’t wait to come back!
- 5/5
Nice place to spend a few days. Oregon Garden is right there next to the main building and you have free access to walk the gardens. The Frank Lloyd Wright Gordon House is right off the road leading to the resort, so it is easy to visit (and very interesting). Great food in the restaurant. Close to Silverton and Silver Falls. Nice room with balcony.
- 5/5
Staff was great, room was very nice.
- 5/5
Supet convenient with your pet. The back door led straight to an area where your pet can do their business. Quiet and parking is easy. The pool is seasonal. However the hottub was azing early morning and late at night. We will be stay again!
- 5/5
The place had a great vibe!!
- 5/5
Staff and amenities
- 5/5
We love staying here! Friendly staff!
- 4/5
I would visit again and have already recommended this hotel to others. The bar is cute and inviting, nice happy hour too. The rooms and grounds were nice, cute little town.
- 5/5
Grounds were very pretty and really enjoyed the fireside lounge and live band during the week.
- 5/5
2% milk for coffee marked, the other thermos needed to be marked if it was half and half, cream?
- 5/5
Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. So nice to have convenient amenities. Cozy, charming cottages
- 4/5
Love being a part of the Gardens very near the resort. We enjoyed visiting the Gardens and the staff at the resort was very helpful.
- 4/5
Hot tub
- 5/5
Amazing place to stay!
- 5/5
The breakfast was better than standard hotel fare. The access to the garden was much appreciated. Restaurant onsite, although we did not eat there. Room had an oitdoor patio area and a gas fireplace.
- 5/5
I always prefer this location when I stay in Silverton
- 5/5
I love staying here-have done this multiple times when I come home to visit Silverton.
- 5/5
Beautiful grounds. Free admissions to adjacent Botanical Gardens. Half hour drive to Silver Falls State Park and 10 waterfalls trail. Short drive to charming Silverton, which has German Christmas Festival.
- 2/5
I stayed at Silverton Gardens, Oregon for a wedding I found the staff to be rude and unhelpful They had dropped the ball on the entire preparation for the wedding and took no responsibility for their actions The room that they had set aside for the cake cutting had zero decoration or flowers. There was actually job applications left on all the tables from their previous job fair they hosted. The restaurant is less than average chain food I would not recommend any of their properties was truly disappointed in my experience
- 5/5
Had a great time and a wonderful dinner. The music was very nice. Thanks
- 4/5
The only thing that I noticed is the lamps were old and very dusty on the base. The floors in the bathroom weren’t real clean. Not terrible, but noticeable. Overall a pleasant stay and the grounds are stunning. Worth a little dust.
- 5/5
The employees were so nice and the place is beautiful
- 5/5
The complimentary breakfast was nice. The hot tub and pool were still open in late September, which was a very nice surprise! The gardens were spectacular even in the fall, and it was just wonderful to wander around them!
- 5/5
We thoroughly enjoy Oregon Garden, we’ve stayed there multiple times 😀
- 3/5
An once beautiful resort has fallen on hard times. Staff tries hard but the resort is threadbare. Love walking in the gardens. However, I will have to think long and hard if we will return.
- 4/5
Reserved 2 rooms and they but us in rooms on the opposite ends of the property
- 5/5
Amazing staff. Food was awesome. Highly recommended
- 5/5
What a wonderful stay at the beautiful, clean property! The beds were comfortable and the therapy pool was incredible. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Thank you!!
- 4/5
Many stairs to navigate......could have been more accessible, but did not see how or ask the staff.
- 5/5
Such a great place. Right near gardens and Frank Lloyd Wright home. Great service, comfortable, great ambience. Would definitely come again.
- 5/5
Nice property and surrounding views.
- 5/5
Amazing stay, beautiful resort, clean, comfortable bed, quiet, I loved the small backyard. Staff was very friendly. Great!
- 5/5
This hotel was great, and the food was amazing! (dinner and drinks)
- 5/5
Quiet getaway
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Friendly check -in & breakfast staff. Beautiful property. Delicious breakfast. Spacious room.
- 5/5
We only got to stay here 1 night, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cant wait to be back! We were travelling with our 1.5 year old and the room was big enough for him to really get out that toddler energy, plus we loved our little garden patio. We also loved the garden that you can visit free with your stay. We didnt even get to see half of it before having to leave. But enjoyed the kids playground area which was very cute and wrll thought out! Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Wonderful stay during a class reunion. Two things we didn't enjoy. The mattress in the room was uncomfortable. And the catered meals for our group were very mediocre.
- 5/5
Wonderful! We’ve stayed before and will stay again! Enjoyed the live music in the lounge.
- 5/5
Beautiful surroundings
- 4/5
The gardens were beautiful and unique. Live music was fun, good breakfast offered
- 5/5
This place is gorgeous! Every aspect of our stay was outstanding. The staff is kind, courteous, and very helpful. Access to the gardens made for a beautiful morning walk. We added on the dinner package, which came with two entrees and a bottle of wine and it was fabulous! They have live music every night in their lounge which was also really lovely. We can't wait to come back.
- 4/5
This is a pretty setting. Very nice suits the giant spa is look warm and jets are low and little volume but in spite of that ok. Breakfast in restaurant was above the norm.will be back to enjoy it all again
- 5/5
Really nice
- 5/5
Beautiful, relaxing business vacation.
- 5/5
The rooms are clean, spacious and there's a fireplace and a private balcony. We loved our room. We had dinner in the dining room and in the lounge. Both meals were great - especially the coconut prawns. Service was excellent and the staff are really great.
- 5/5
Great place relaxing landscape gardens flowers trees
- 4/5
Enjoyed the beautiful gardens here so much, just lovely to walk thru. Great included full breakfast. The rooms are nice with comfortable bed. The area was quiet although the ac unit in our room was very loud. Also the wood railing around the balcony was pretty dirty and in bad shape, but overall it was a great experience. Would stay here again!
- 5/5
We liked everything about our stay it’s an absolutely beautiful place. We really enjoyed the band playing in the fireside lounge. The staff was top notch. We can’t wait to come back.
- 5/5
Beautiful resort, great breakfast, lovely grounds. Service was wonderful.
- 5/5
Like the repartnership with the Oregon Garden
- 5/5
Discounts with Garden membership good .
- 5/5
Stay was lovely, some things felt dated, older than the actual age of the building, so definite intent involved. But executed well. It was solid for a 3 Star experience and the convenience for the Gardens and The Gordon House really couldn't be beat. If there is one thing I would change, I would probably skip dinner, though the meal was good and well executed, I didn't quite find the cost to equal the quality of what I would get in say, Portland. Quite a premium for the convenience, Silverton seems worth exploring for Dinner I think.
- 5/5
Everyone was very friendly it was easy to find and it was perfect for our needs.
- 5/5
Everything was nice. The whole property was really beautiful.
- 5/5
Was pleasantly surprised by this property. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We had great service and breakfast was good. The rooms and property were all quite and appreciated it was well sound proofed. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub which were also quiet.
- 4/5
Breakfast was great. Transportation to and from is limited to own cars.
- 5/5
Property is lovely and restaurant/bar. Staff were fantastic. Comfortable bed and quiet room. Will stay again.
- 5/5
This property was amazing and the property was well maintained and beautiful. Entrance to the garden was a lovely bonus. Will definitely recommend and stay again. Staff was excellent!
- 5/5
Great staff. Beautiful area. Clean rooms.
- 4/5
We had a nice one night stay. The lodge is very nice, but the air conditioner in our room was a bit loud while you're trying to sleep. The dining room was also a bit disappointing. We were wanting a more romantic atmosphere., but the food was very tasty.
- 5/5
The breakfast was wonderful with great tasting coffee. Very tasty gluten free bread and fresh fruit. Eggs were done just right.
- 5/5
I love the gardens and walk. Service at restaurant is always gracious. I will be back!
- 4/5
Great old resort right next to amazing Oregon Gardens. It is a little dated and the breakfast is a little skimpy. It could use a make over and upgrade. But the views are amazing. It is an old school resort with one story buildings on meticulously maintained grounds.Free parking and close to town. We would stay again and recommend.
- 5/5
Great service. Lovely room in a great location.
- 5/5
I loved the proximity to the Gordon House and Silver Falls
- 5/5
We spent one night and loved the place. It is quaint and peaceful. The breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about.
- 4/5
The flowers
- 4/5
Neither myself nor my companion thought either of the queen mattresses was comfortable to sleep on.
- 4/5
We got there staff was nice phone wasn't working and then we went to dinner both ready to eat a hamburger but said the one thing on there menu we couldn't order was burgers due to being hot it was 85 degrees being from California that was weird to us
- 5/5
Jeremy was super helpful ❤️. Pretty sure the tall young man working the front desk was named Jeremy. Lots of local information. We enjoyed both bands in the lounge on the nights that we stayed. I think it's worth the upgrade to the garden room
- 5/5
This is a lovely property and so unique in that it’s near the grounds of the Oregon garden. The landscaping is as beautiful as the actual gardens! We also really appreciated the quiet and peacefulness which seemed to us to be attributed to the layout of the property. The pool and the sauna were excellent as well.
- 5/5
A quaint, quiet location with small town vibes. Comfortable rooms and excellent service all around!
- 5/5
Very satisfied
- 5/5
Love this place! Clean, so quiet, and love being surrounded by the gardens. Rooms are spacious and they have balconies and fire place. The only thing that I think could use improvement is the quality of their food. However, you can drive to Silverton for a bite.
- 5/5
Great guest house. Wish we had a couple more days.
- 5/5
The Gardens is always my favorite place to stay. The food is always good, the drinks are great and the atmosphere and employees are fabulous!
- 5/5
We stayed in Oregon Garden Resort during our trip to the Silver Falls State Park. The property was safe abd quiet. The staff was very nice, the special thanks Olivia, restaurant service professional.
- 5/5
Beautiful and peaceful! Just what we wanted and needed. Restaurant was delicious and staff was kind. The garden dining was great.
- 5/5
Beautiful area, clean room and very nice people.
- 5/5
Absolutely beautiful place
- 5/5
The room was big, quiet and comfortable. Loved the fireplace, even though it was too hot out to use it. The live music was nice and the food was great. Breakfast was amazing.
- 4/5
Wonderful property. Nice restaurant with a view. The live music, drinks and food in the Fireside Lounge was great. Very comfortable, private room that included a small outdoor patio. The coffee maker in the room was not very good. A unique design, not intuitive, located in dark alcove so difficult to see instructions or to see how much water was in its dispenser. The coffee in the main area of the resort was delicious.
- 5/5
Jeremy was helpful with visitors new to the area and had great suggestions for us. Logan was great in the lounge. Very patient and receptive. We enjoyed the duo entertaining in the lounge. I highly recommend they do a Fleetwood Mac song or Don Henley and Stevie nicks song. Great property!!
- 5/5

Beautiful location adjacent to Oregon garden (botanical gardens) and a very peaceful happy little community of buildings each housing about 4 separate guest rooms, a fireplace in the room and a small outdoor patio or deck also. Friendly helpful staff and one of the best burgers I have ever eaten in the lounge which had a wonderful singer playing guitar and sharing her own songs plus covers. Peaceful retreat, next time need to spend at least 2 nights here if not more...

Have stayed here every time I travel through the area. Love it here!

Went for an anniversary night. Beautiful grounds, nice check-in staff, large rooms with cozy amenities. Bed was very uncomfortable in the room and the restaurant for dinner was not a place we would go back to. Seafood was undercooked, pasta dish was inedible and dining room was very dirty. It was a very expensive experience to be so let down.

I have stayed there before and it is a good place to stay but could use a bit of a upgrade in certain areas

Beautiful and Tranquil. Enjoy the nightly entertainment at the lounge.

The bed was very soft and worn out . So I forfeited one night of my reservations, because it wasn't pleasant to sleep on it.

Rooms are basic hotel rooms but nice and private. Pool and hot tub were a perk!

Beautiful property & very nice rooms! The girl at the front desk was SO helpful & she definitely went out of her way to help make my stay more enjoyable.

The restaurant service and food was mediocre at best and on a hot day our AC was not working so we gave it a chance and then had to call to have it addressed which took a couple hours to get fixed including 3 trips to our room by maintenance. We spent most of the evening and night overheated and sweating until it finally caught up a few hours later. Maintenance informed us that the filters had not been changed and should have been in advance of the high season, and showed us a gross clogged air filter pulled out of the AC unit.

The rooms were lovely, large with fireplace and patio. I would suggest another lamp as there was a large dark area.

It was delightful. Flowers everywhere. Rooms like mini apartments with outside sitting area. Quiet peaceful. Great breakfast buffet. One of my best hotel experiences.

We loved the property. It was so beautiful and had an excellent view for the sunset. Dining was great and the breakfast included with the stay was very good! We didn’t have an opportunity to used the spa services, but would definitely make it a must do on our next trip.

The bed was very comfortable. Towels very nice. The room was very quiet. Some refreshing of the trim in the bathroom is needed. We enjoyed Happy Hour food and drink and went back later for the live entertainment which we enjoyed. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. The lounge could use updated decor/furniture. The breakfast menu had a very nice variety, however the eggs and sausage were luke warm. Loved the granola!

Room was awesome and we really enjoyed it. However, I would skip the restaurant. Food was inedible and I really hate to say so bc we really enjoy the hotel.

Our stay was perfect! Room was exactly what we wanted and the staff were all very pleasant!

Beautiful grounds. Buildings are dated and dark. Coffee maker didn’t work. Needs updating.
