Ski Inn Taphouse Hotel

We really enjoyed the room and the balcony, what a great location for just about everything Sisters has to offer.

Nice room

Clean and modern room with a comfortable bed. Conveniently located. Recommend the brisket from the Taphouse below. Was a bit worried about noise but didn’t have an issue sine the bar closed at 8pm. Overall a great value and would stay here again

Location can’t be beat! Great patio/deck, downtown, and a lovely bar/restaurant right below. Room spacious, big slower, and comfy bed. Some noise from hallway (adjacent doors opening and closing). Other somewhat annoying low frequency hum that appears to come from restaurant below - but persisted after closing(?) No street noise at all (our room faced the parking side of the structure). Pet friendly. Recommend, with minor reservations re: sounds — if you are a light sleeper.

Location was great! I like the parking was free and provided. The room was very clean and comfortable. Someone down the hall from us had a small dog that barked when we first checked in around 4 o’clock how do I still barking when we went up to our room for the night at 8:30. I parked for a while and then assumed the owners came back and the dog didn’t bark as far as we knew the rest of the night. There was a big fan or something that was motorized running and was quite loud. We thought it might be a fan from downstairs restaurant, but it would go on for a while and go off and then come back on periodically throughout the night.

Loved our stay it just wasn’t long enough.

There was not a thing we didn't like about our stay.

The room and deck are awesome! We had wine with people next to us on the fabulous deck. We used the discount for the restaurant downstairs which was fantastic! Nothing- it was perfect

Great location, very clean!

Great room and great location. The view was nice too! It was close to all the shopping and restaurants. It was easy to check in and check out. The only thing I noticed was that one of the parking spaces had a bolt sticking out of one of the bumpers that could have damaged any car parking there. We would love to stay here again in the future!

During my stay there was overnight sidewalk construction nearby (jackhammering, lights, backup alarms until ~3am), which impacted sleep—but that was clearly outside the property’s control. Otherwise, this would be a very quiet and comfortable place to stay.

Perfect location in the middle of sisters. Very “dog friendly” hotel and “tap room” downstairs. Will come back next time we’re in sisters!

The location of the building is perfect to check in and walk the town to see all the shops I love the look of the deck chairs, but could be more comfortable seating

The noise. There were some very loud humming noises- from AC unit and maybe from other rooms or the kitchen downstairs. If it wasn't for the noise I'd have zero issues.

We loved the location as we had planed to just stay and explore the town. The restaurant was cute, good options & quick. The room was spacious & the bathroom was huge! Felt very luxurious. Lots of street noise obviously, and we could hear others in rooms & walking around. The refrigerator in the bathroom was a little odd, but I understand the limited space.

Place was excellent and Alli was super responsive for any of the questions or needs we had!

Parking was super easy and right next to the entrance so close proximity to get your stuff in and not have to lug it around! The deck was amazing for sunrise

We liked the updated finishes in the room. The open joint patio was nice as well. The linens had way too much of a fabric softener smell to them. We had to contact management and have them bring new linens. They came right away :) with new linens, with less of a smell, but we tolerated it.

All aspects of our stay were incredible! Room was clean, check in was seemless. Our only concern was that we packed our belongings and went out to breakfast on our last day, came back less than an hour later, 930 or so and our bed was stripped and our room was being cleaned. We had planned on staying in the room until checkout as we had an event to get dressed and ready for. Unfortunately, we did not have that option. We never said we were checking out, our only assumption is that we were being watched by the cleaning staff and they saw us leave with our bags and thought we were gone for good. We dropped our items in our car and left it in the guest parking and walked to breakfast.

My only gripe is with room 101, which I will avoid in the future. It is right above the kitchen staff and you can hear a lot of doors slamming and some large motor (probably a stove vent) running until they close. I wouldn't pick this one if I was getting to bed early. For context, it was quiet after about 10:30 Also, on this particular stay, someone kept coming in and out of the downstairs door and slamming their door. Since there is not a front desk or in-house contact, not much I could do about that! Overall I almost always give this place 5 stars. And it was only a minor issue that dropped a star on this stay. I would absolutely stay again, just in 106 or 104 :)

Great location and comfortable room!

Directions were still confusing and we found our selves upstairs in the rain and couldn’t figure out the entrance. Fridge & coffeemaker is in the bathroom, kinda gross.

Great stay

The Ski Inn is a new property in Sisters. It was well designed and well managed by email. Our room in the back was quiet and clean. The room is well designed and decorated. However, the mattress was too firm to be really comfortable. We could have used two extra pillows as well. The bed reading lights were well placed, but not quite bright enough to read by.

Loved the experience and how clean the room was.

Location, view and price Hard bed & neighbors were smoking weed (very strong smell).

The coffee maker did not work and the water was barely warm in the shower.

This is a great hotel. Clean, modern and the rooms were comfortable. There is a nice deck to enjoy the surroundings. I would indeed stay here again.

The property is centrally located and it's easy to walk to most places in Sisters. The room was very nice and clean. I liked the large bathroom and the large windows to the balcony. The property responded quickly to messages.

The modern automation process during the check in process made getting to our room quick and simple. Access to the street front balcony was very cool even in the freezing temperatures. The modern bathroom fixtures and the shower are a nice touch. Considering the cost of the room we were surprised to find such small quarters.

The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, have a great view of the downtown area. Beds are super comfortable. Super easy access and very clear instructions on how to get in and out. Very close to all the downtown shops If you’re coming to Central Oregon, I would recommend taking a look at this lodging, you will not be disappointed

Everything was perfect except the refrigerator is placed right next to the toilet. We found that very unsanitary and disgusting.

A/C and Heat worked great, Bed was super comfortable and the bathroom is super nice. My only complaint was, there needs to be a desk or sitting table for work. Even if just a cofee table by the couch :)

Very clean and quiet

The Ski Inn was a great place to stay. Rooms are beautiful, opening on to a great deck. The locations in the heart of Sister’s. I would definitely book again.

We stayed at the Ski Inn Taphouse for a long weekend to attend the Sisters Folk Festival and it was great. I wasn’t sure about the contactless check-in but it all worked brilliantly. Our room was spotless and housekeeping looked after everything we needed with clean towels and coffee top-ups, etc. We didn’t get to try the Taphouse but it was busy and seemed very popular.

Hotel was super cool and unique. Beds were really comfy and I really liked the big bathroom and shower.

The hotel had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in away from home. The room opened to an elevated deck, with chairs to sit on. It's located in the center of town, so everything was in walking distance. The check-in process was supposed to be completely automated, but they forgot to send us the room number. The rooms are up a long flight of stairs with no elevator. There was no place to place clothes and only 3 coat hangers in the room. These were all minor compared to the overall comfort of the room.

I loved having the room with the balcony and the bathroom was amazing.

Stayed in room 103, sure it has great views, but clouds obscured. Liked convenience of shops and restaurants, but then there’s not much that isn’t within a few blocks walk. Good inside temperature control also!

Great place to stay when visiting sisters

Room was very clean and cool when we arrived and didn't find it noisy as noted it might be since located on a busy throughfare. We had problems exiting the room upon departure at 8am, Room was locked from the inside and we were forced to use the balcony exit. I'm not sure why we had the problem as we tried to unlock the door and were unsuccessful.

This was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. Loved the giant wrap around deck at the heart of sisters and across the street from Sister's Bakery (which is delicious) and last but not least, that bathroom and shower were fantastic. Thank you guys so much!

It is centrally located, designed thoughtfully with all the amenities you could need, very clean, and the staff is great. It is within steps of great restaurants (Ski Inn Taphouse Hotel included) and stores, and a short drive to other destinations (Bend, Redmond). Definitely recommend - and will stay again in the future. Thank you for such a great experience!

I’d give it all excellent review, IF only it had a microwave in the room. We asked the staff if we could use the microwave in the kitchen & they said no. The rooms are clean and pleasant otherwise.

I like that its only 6 rooms above the taphouse. There is no staff for the rooms. We didnt have any issues that required anyone. Plus a discount when you eat (and drink) at the taphouse. Very quiet, well appointed rooms. Good A/C, Keurig, fridge plus shampoo conditioner body wash etc. Only downside is there are quite a few stairs to climb and no elevators.

Room was nice but no elevator for us seniors. Extremely loud noise from local bar, outdoor live music. Called Sherif. Wouldn’t do anything till after 10.00 PM. No sleep that night.Didn’t get 10% discount on food from downstairs. Will not come back till you guys figure it out. Door seal to deck on inside of floor , not effective. Not allowed to purchase lemonade from downstairs to our room from bartender down stairs. You guys just haven’t figured it out, sorry nice place but can’t give you a positive review.

Live band at bar behind it made it impossible to go to sleep until 12:30

What an amazing hotel! It was modern, clean, quiet, and the deck outside was great. I loved that it was private with only 8 or so rooms. Fantastic location right in town, walking distance to everything. Our room was ready before the check in time, and the staff was great with communicating online. Highly recommend!

Love this classy place!

The room was easy to find, spacious, comfortable and modern. Stayed on a Saturday night and even though it’s located in the heart of town and above the taphouse, the room was exceptionally quiet. The only small issue was the door stuck a little bit making it harder to open and fully close. Highly recommend this place and will stay there again!

Really convenient hotel with large rooms and a deck looking over the town that we enjoyed breakfast (from Sister's Bakery) on. Very convenient access to a restaurant on the lower level. You do need to carry your bags up one flight of stairs. We would stay here again!

We had a nice one night stay. The room and bathroom is HUGE! Loved the little chocolates in our room. The hotel is on the main road so for those not used to road noice might be a little sensitive but they even have a white noise machine next to bed. Didn’t need it but thought a nice touch. Was also nice to have coffee/creamer in the room. Town is super cute and loved bakery across the street.

Great place right downtown Sisters! Very modern and nice amenities! Having a restaurant and tap room downstairs was so convenient and was not noisy at all!! But in case it was - noise canceling device was in the rooms . Small (only 6 rooms ) beautiful wrap around deck with seating and Mountain View’s!!

What a wonderful stay! It's beautiful, clean, has free parking, check-in was so easy, and we couldn't be happier. Room 102 looks exactly like the pictures! Love this place so much and our doggies are very happy with the large floor space for naps!!

Being able to check in and out independently was very convenient, the hotel was beautiful and had great views from the balcony!

Great location, nice room, spacious, clean.

Absolutely LOVED this place. Very clean and updated . Loved that it had a ceiling fan in the room too. Most places dont have that and we have to travel with fans. Even tho it was above a bar and main street it was not loud at all. Just when motorcycles roomed by but not bad at all. For the price this place was perfect! Close to everything and a fun dive bar. Would definitely stay again. Check in was self serve and super easy! Just like staying in an air bnb.

My son and I were in town for a lacrosse tournament. We have stayed in Sisters a number of times, but this was our first time at the Ski Inn. We loved the convenience, cleanliness, and the view. The deck is a great place to hang out and watch the town below, read a book, etc. The room was small, but had everything we needed. We would definitely come back!

Arriving late we were able to access our room thanks to a wonderful young couple that was just leaving their shift. Our room was inviting, very clean and perfect!

The taphouse below had the best customer service and atmosphere. The room was large and well laid out, great design and had everything we would need. We would stay there again in a heart beat.

The rooms were so nice and clean. The shower pressure was perfect and the mirror had an antifogging feature which was so useful! The view outside of the room was amazing and the check in was easy with the contactless check in. The food downstairs was also amazing! Would definitely stay there again
