The hotel was ok for an overnight trip. Lots of fast food options nearby. Hotel is pretty outdated with clearly older furniture but it was pretty clean. Staff was very accommodating from check in to check out. Breakfast was decent. Didn't use the gym but it was clean.

Our room was very clean, outdated, but clean. The mattress was okay, I would suggest a zipper mattress enclosure to prevent bed bugs. Also the sheets were a little rough. The staff were very friendly & helpful! The breakfast was good, but the sitting area could use a good cleaning. The whole building needs an update, we had no issues during our stay!

The bed was comfortable, I loved the spa. Somebody left their bra hanging on the back of the bathroom door. And I couldn't make coffee cause it was missing a piece . It wasn't as cleaned as I expected.

The room we were given had a very dirty toilet and caulk slopped all in the interior of the sink. We went to another Hampton Inn on the other side of town to see if we could switch hotels, but we could not bc we booked through Expedia. Expedia did call our hotel on our behalf. The hotel switched us to another dirty room. The room initially smelled like bleach/freshly cleaned. When I pulled back the sheets, I discovered hair, lint and a piece of glitter. We complained to the manager & showed the pictures. He said there was not housekeeping and brought us fresh sheets, which then my husband changed the bed. During the night I noticed 3 washcloths on the shower curtain rod/hanging over the shower curtain. We complained to the manager. Housekeeping came and confirmed the tub had never been cleaned & the shower curtain not changed between guests. They cleaned it for us. We didn’t change rooms again or finish dealing with Expedia bc we were in town for a family crisis & were running back & forth to court. The hotel staff and expedia were nice to us. The toiletries were good quality Zero % (Gilchrist & Soames). I still have to address with Expedia bc I didn’t want to pack back up to move again in the midst of the family crisis.

Pet friendly Location to 85 We have stayed there at least 10 times and the rooms have went downhill. There were tears in the wallpaper in the bathroom and cracks in the ceiling . The bathroom was in serious need of upgrading and repair. The pet fee has also increased to $75 per night which almost doubled the cost of the room .

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. It was quiet and in an easy location. We would definitely stay there again.

I am a Hilton honors member. The manager at check-in De Andre claimed he could not find my Hilton honors membership (while other hotels during the same trip found it very easily and without asking), even after checking my name, Email and the actual Hilton honors membership number. Not Clear if he messed up the spelling or the number deliberately or just out of incompetence.

Hotel is located off of the interstate. Relatively quiet, nearby gas stations and fast food restaurants The temperature in the room. Could not be regulate the thermostat. Finally turned it off and bundled up in blankets. Must say great shower. Breakfast. Coffee had a bizarre taste. Potatoes and bacon was undercooked. The only egg choice was a cheese omelette. Bread wasn’t fresh. My suggestion would be pass on the breakfast and head to a local restaurant or McDonald’s.

A very typical Hampton Inn (which is what I was looking for). Convenient highway access and a solid hotel with everything we needed for a good night of rest and an early start the next day.

Most outlets in our room were non functional. Air conditioning was leaking and carpet throughout the room was wet. No fan in the bathroom,

The please needs to be remodeled and upgraded. Dirty walls inside and out. Musky smells. House keeping yelling down the hall back and forth to each other every day. Guess this is to encourage everyone is up for checkout. breakfast was bland and rubbery. Will never stay here again

Gentleman at counter this trip was very rude. Tried to put us in a room that had a note saying the AC was broke and smelled absolutely moldy. The young lady at the counter made it right but this used to be our go to get away and we noticed this time it really needs an update before things get to far gone if you know what I mean. We will give it another chance but if things don't get better that will be it for us. Breakfast is good as always but it seems there may be a lot of people whom frequent this hotel or maybe even live here because they walk in the kitchen like they own it. As I said this last trip was not our typical experience here. Hoping it gets back to normal.

This hotel is ready for an update! The room we stayed in was very spacious for 2 people. We had a king size bed and a sleeping sofa. The room also had a fridge and microwave. Even though it was clean, but everything looked well used and needed to be refreshed. The fitting sheet was too small for the bed. We stayed for two nights. The breakfast was ok; every morning was different menu. You get what you pay for…

The staff was wonderful and accommodating. However, the rooms need to be updated. I had to move after the first night due to something causing me to itch. The room I was moved to did not cause me to itch, but the air barely worked. I did not want to change rooms again so I didn’t bother to report it.

The hotel rooms are clean but dated need new mattress the bed was not comfortable for me shoulder and sciatic leg got about three hours tops had to get in the chair. Staff was very nice. Lobby was clean.

I stayed here in December, 2023, and it was a very pleasant stay. Again, I stayed here March, 2025, and it was just as nice and clean as in 2023. Very convenient, right off I-85, in Spartenburg. I will alway stay at Hampton Inn when I come to Spartenburg.

Great hotel with very friendly and professional staff.

Vacuuming and mopping was done in the evening when trying to rest. Very noisy. Breakfast was limited and not enough seating for the large crowds that participated in breakfast.

I thought I was getting a room at the other Hampton Inn closer to the family we were going to visit. Apparently, I was not and we were booked in one near Chesnee SC. It was just a little off the road and the parking lot was not brightly lit, as I felt it should be. Neither my husband or I do drugs but I could smell marijuana both days we were there, inside the hotel and out. Also, the internet was not working nor was the cable TV. That is a big thing for me as a lot of my work is conducted by internet. The staff was friendly, the food was very good for breakfast. I also don't think I got my Hilton points, though the hotel did have a sign that they offered them. I will watch more closely when I book a hotel in that state the next time to make sure it is closer to our destination.

The staff was very friendly, start to finish. Room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was superb with many options. Easy access to interstate and restaurants (for fast meals) we would stay here again if traveling this way!

It said pet friendly, so we took our dog we where gone on saturday no one cleaned our room we had our dog with us so room was empty, we came back to garbage bag hanging on the door eith towels in it, then sunday we where in the room all day if they were concerned about the dog all they had to do was knock on the door no one knocked to see if we needed anything so we didnt get any clean towels and garbage was not takin out we will not be back

Always a pleasure staying here. And the tub for two is absolutely relaxing. Only thing I would change is the pillow selection. Thank for helping make the husbands birthday so special. We had a blast!!

Very hospitable staff, clean and very convenient to restaurants and family. Breakfast was fair. Muffins and waffles were good, eggs, bacon sausage and potatoes were not so good.

My stay was riddled with problems. An uncomfortable, old mattress. The springs kept poking me in the back. The pillows were the size of small throw pillows from the couch. It was a smoking room in the past which still smelled of old stake cigarette smoke. When I checked in the clerk was no where to be found, only a note that said stepped away be back in a few minutes, which turned i to 20 minutes from when I saw it. When I checked out again there was no clerk, not even a note this time. 10 minutes later a custodian let me know she stepped away. He offered to help me only after he realized that I was trying to check out. All in all I would not recommend staying in this hotel. The other rooms may have been more up to date but the only room available was the one I was given

Nice property, plenty of free parking, Very nice free breakfast, large smart tv in room, large mini refrigerator( not the usual small one), microwave in the room..Also had a lounge chair in.additiom to the desk and chair. Bathroom was very nice, good lighting, mounted soap and lotion dispensers And nice bar soap. EXCELLENT hot water supply. And i had a huge 2 person whirlpool tub/ shower combo. I had booked A King room with jetted tub. Did not expect one a large as a mini pool ! The property could use a little decor update in the room , but the hotel is one I would stay in again.

I stayed at the hotel due to me coming into town for a outdoor festival at “The Music Camp” nearby the Hampton. Due to the hurricane, the event did not happen and most people met there and were allowed to camp in the grass. I really appreciate how everything went and I have no complaints. I booked my room months ago and planned to have roommates from Netherlands stay with me. The whole trip went smooth and power was only out at the hotel for around 24 hours but we were fine and the hotel/hotel staff did a great job. Thank you!

TV cable (Spectrum) was not user friendly. But that was OK. I did not book with Hampton to watch TV.

Overall it was alright. Room was good just other areas were dirty. Didn’t seem like a safe area.

We had an issue with a noisy fridge. It was repaired right away. Very nice breakfast.

This hotel did not meet our expectations but we stayed two nights as we already paid ahead. Check in was not friendly as staff were having issues with another patron. The lobby was dirty as were the elevators and hallways. The room was very outdated and smelled musty. The linens were low quality. Hotel staff were regularly smoking outside the main entrances. In the morning staff hung out in the breakfast area and were noisy and unprofessional. The pool looked dirty and unkept. Treadmill was out of order in the gym- only one was available. Dead flies on the windowsill in the breakfast area. I have pictures upon request. Would NEVER stay here again.

Our stay was pleasant. Rooms were clean and well stocked, food was decent, and staf was pleasant. Before arriving upon notifying her that we had a 1 month old, the front desk attendant we spoke to promptly got a play pin promptly put together that was in our room waiting for us upon getting to the hotel. Digital keycard usage was seamless and went smooth

The hotel needs renovation. The room was old and dated. When we arrived in the evening around 8pm, there was major cleaning being done in the hallways. There were smoking areas on both sides of the building and there were multiple people smoking each time we walked by. The only reason we stayed at this hotel was because we were ad they exit and they allow pets.

The entire staff we came in contact with were so nice! Plus my husband misplaced his car keys and thought he lost them o the property, and Emily went above and beyond to make us feel safe and secure. Little did we know he left some clothes in a drawer when we checked out, and we got a call from the staff saying they found the clothes and his keys! We feel so bad putting the staff through undue stress, but they were as nice as can be. Highly recommend this hotel!

I Live in the area and had to stay the night because my air conditioner went out, and I have a 10 month old baby. I was a little bit irritated that they wanted me to pay an extra $200 deposit because I live locally it seemed a bit discriminatory. I understand the logic behind it, but I also feel like it is unfair to those of us who are law abiding citizens just trying to get a room.

After a long 9 hour trip from Florida we stopped to stay at the Hampton Hilton. It was the highest rated hotel in the area and I use Hampton for business trips frequently. Upon arrival we were welcomed with large groups of people gathered outside and the hotel Tailgating, loud music, and consuming alcoholic beverages. When we went inside the one receptionist was laying on the floor with a dog and ignored us. A second receptionist checked us in. We stayed in room 114. It was the last available room according to the receptionist. The hallways and pool were filled with teenagers running back and forward. We carried in our luggage and entered our room. Immediately you can smell the aroma of Marijuana in the room. Since we were tired and didn’t have the energy to drive to another hotel as it was starting to downpour outside. We decided to take a shower and go to sleep. However when going in the shower it was a jacuzzi tub. It was super slippery and I almost fell when stepping in. Also to top it off the knob for the shower was broken and only dispensed cold water. I normally read a bible passage before bed, however there was no bible in the room. Finally, after getting limited sleep because of the late night partygoers outside the hotel I woke up to get breakfast. However, nothing was ready or prepared it was 6:20 am. Breakfast was to start at 6am. When the food was placed it was overcooked and watered down. Then at check out the receptionist once again was sleeping on the floor.

Nothing unique to be found here, There are no guides for cable stations nor current shows. No note pad nor pen to write with. No Gideon Bible either. The right side of bed collapses if you get too close to edge. Room was quiet and had coffee maker. HVAC worked well as did bathroom fixtures. Breakfast was decent but no sweet rolls nor Danish. Grade: C.

The hotel is dated but was very clean. However the smell of weed the first night was overwhelming when we checked in. I asked to switch floors but no rooms were available.
