Decent room, doors to the back were unlocked the entire stay so had a safety concern. Other than that room was clean and stay was good.

The room and the entire hotel needs a deep clean. Property needs better maintenance.

Large, really clean room, quiet location, a couple were trying to check in with a dog when I was coming in. Location was close to gas, food, a "Dollar Store" and 1 exit away from my next day event.

The room was old and smelled off. The pull-out couch was broken and no sheets or blankets were provided. There was a tv remote, but no back to the remote, leaving you to hold the batteries to change the tv. The fridge did not cool. out of the 3 light bulbs, only 2 worked, sometimes. The best part....the 2 am smoke alarm in our room going off for assuming, low battery and we listened to that for the rest of the early morning until I had to get up at 6 am for a game. I got maybe 2hours of "rest" but not sleep. There are people that live in the hotel, dogs that were not picked up after. The best part of the hotel was the Circle K next door because breakfast was a joke. - dry old pastries, a personal crock pot of assuming was gravy to go on a stale cold biscuit. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, ever.

I didn't like the mattress. I was uncomfortable.

They really need to hire a different maintenance person. Full length mirror fell off the wall 5 minutes after we entered. The bathroom exhaust fan was loose causing it to make a racket when the light was turned on waking everyone up. The coat rack was installed at a 20° angle, not straight. Refrigerator was barely cold. They had to bring us new light bulbs to replace the burned out bulbs. Our room keys were constantly malfunctioning. We will stay elsewhere when we visit Springfield, Illinois again.

Location was easy to find. Room was fairly clean. For the nightly rate, it was ok. They really need to hire a different maintenance person. They switched the room from what I originally ordered without notice until I got to the hotel. I went from a King size room to two a two queen size room. Housekeeping did not do a good job of cleaning my room. The door was very unsecure.
- 4/5
The hotel is off the interstate and easily accessible. The room was clean and the pillows were outstanding. the pool was large, but I did not use it. the breakfast was skimpy and the apples provided had spoiled spots on them. Housekeeping is not available until 9 a.m. and due to limited staff no delivery of towels or missing toiletry items was not available.

Breakfast doesn't go past 9am. I like to sleep in on vacation instead of rushing down to get food/coffee. I feel it could be 10am since check out is at 11am. But, overall 10/10.

The room was much cleaner and more inviting than I had anticipated. Staff was very friendly as well, even though we arrived in the middle of the night. Would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Hotel is older and shows some wear and tear but what we seen was clean. Pool was nice and clean. Staff at check in and over night was excellent!
- 5/5
Clean Rooms; Gracious Staff!!!
- 3/5
Room was nice, the people above me sounded like elephants, but i tried not to complain, bc i had dogs. Only problem was, having to extend my stay, and the hotel charging me again almost 500 dollars for dogs, that was horrible.
- 5/5
The breakfast was pretty good not much variety but it was good and my kids had a blast in the pool the staff was pretty nice too
- 5/5
It is pretty nice
- 3/5
Breakfast was very minimal, coffee was good. Not enough towels, shower was great.
- 4/5
The room was average. It was Clean. Staff was very very accommodating! Loved that.
- 4/5
Ac on high , room had a cold damp feeling . Had a bad smell
- 5/5
Excellent hotel option for a budget in springfield and ive stayed at a lot of them. Staff was very friendly and super helpful. Will be staying with them again!
- 4/5
Room is in need of updating. Needs fresh carpeting and better ventilation of air circulation in room. Ceiling in bathroom has evidence of mold due to lack of ventilation. Rooms could use a refresh. Mattress was "springy" and not too comfortable, but good for a night's stay. Breakfast had good continental options. Clean and fresh breakfast. Would stay again. Front desk and service was very good
- 1/5
Dirty, smelled terrible, bed was practically falling apart, the floor was brown with dirt. The smell of pot thru lobby, halls, and rooms was so strong. The door to tje bathroom would not ever close.
- 5/5
Clean n comfortable room
- 2/5
Old and run down.. far different from photos. Direct neighborhood similar
- 3/5
Hotel was okay for the price.
- 3/5
Breakfast was good.
- 1/5
I can't speak for all the rooms at this hotel, but my room was a total diaster. Holes in the walls, missing paint, paint flaking off in the shower, broken dresser that looked like someone repeatedly bashed it with a chair, etc... This room was undoubtedly the worst conditions that I've ever seen at a hotel.
- 2/5
When or if cleaning a bathroom for new guest make sure you look up for the bar of soap the previous guest was testing to see if you clean the room and you failed A tip for hotel and housekeeping if you want $ tips you need to do your job. And for the free breakfast and pancakes, basically it’s not like a typical days in. They only had the bare minimum out for people to eat. I will not stay in the hotel again. Room 222
- 1/5
The pot smell in the hall on arrival was very strong, Towels did not look fresh and no hot water in the morning. Couldn't sleep the air was very clammy and the sheets made me itch all night. The tiny pillows were also a joke. This was the worst experience I ever had at a motel!
- 2/5
Remote / tv turned on but could not change stations. Found 1 USB port on lamp on desk. Didn’t stay for breakfast.
- 4/5
Room was nice and roomy. Pool was a bit cold. Not many breakfast options.
- 3/5
Staff was super friendly. Definitely needs updated. Our door stick so we had to give it a good push to get open. There was a strong weird smell when we walked in. Remote didn't work. But there were no bugs, a bed, pillow and blankets and we were only staying there after a concert and left early the next morning
- 1/5
I rented the Jacuzzi room and there was mold all up inside of the carpet under the end tables there was mold under the TV it was ridiculous I got sick from it
- 3/5
the service was good but a lot of renovations & cleaning they need to get done
- 2/5
Found a cockroach in my room after being in there for only 5 minutes, gave me a different room, still disgusting though.
- 3/5
Just needed a room for the night. Had no problem checking in late and room was nice and cool upon arrival. Breakfast was very disappointing. 3 slices of bread in the bread box, apple juice out of order. The only real food provided was the waffle maker. Housekeeping woke us up early before check out which was a little aggravating. Don’t disturb someone on their check out day before check out time has expired, or guests have officially checked out.
- 3/5
The room furniture was poor and dirty. The carpet made your socks black.the fridge in the room smelled so bad I had to throw out all my food. The entire hotel smelled like something was burning and weed. The swimming pool was filthy and cloudy. The breakfast was waffles and bread. Homless people or what seemed to be homless people hanging around using the facilities. Cigarette butts everywhere. Room keys never worked. The beds are so uncomfortable and the platform they sit on were super noisy.
- 4/5
Very helpful staff.
- 2/5
The room was mostly clean, but under the fridge was nasty and there was so much moisture in the room that it was gathering on the furniture. There was this spot in the carpet in front of the TV that was wet the entire time. There was some nasty stuff under the fridge, so I thought maybe the fridge leaks? I wanted to take a bath, but the tub was dirty and I didn't bring anything to clean it. Pool water was kinda dirty, but the temperature was fine. The one redeeming quality was that the people who run the place are really nice. Breakfast was alright--they don't have eggs, but they do have a waffle iron.
- 2/5
Pool was dirty and so was room. Gave us a smoking room instead of nonsmoking.
- 5/5
Great place
- 3/5
it was clean and okay for a quick one night stay. the fridge in the room did not close but we were able to use the clothing rack to close it. other than that it was okay
- 1/5
When pulling up to the place the smell of weed being smoked about made me high. Window was open on second floor with no screen. Floor was wet when walking into room. No toilet paper. Too many things to list that were bad. The lady who checked me in was kind.
- 3/5
And there were trash bags outside alsome rooms in the hall and a lot of residue of ? Tracked through the halls.
- 3/5
The pool water looked merky, dirty
- 4/5
Everyone was very friendly & helpful. Grandson loved pool
- 4/5
Was clean and comfy
- 2/5
i didnt like this hotel overall.. rooms were very smelly and not very clean.
- 3/5
The provided breakfast was very limited. Nothing with protein! Room was nice and clean, but doors to outside needed cleaning.
- 2/5
Smelled of weed in hallway. The fdesk attendant allowed me to check in 1 hour early without charge and the location is convenient, however, I will not stay again.
- 3/5
The pool was nice and warm. I asked what time breakfast was when checking in and was told 930. Headed down to breakfast around 850 and they were already starting to put stuff up but they put some waffle batter back out for us. While trying to make the food they continued to take stuff away from the area. Check out was at 11. Around 1030 housekeeping tried coming in while we were still in the room. Very uncomfortable on the day we left. Also the toilet would only flush randomly- maybe two or three times the entire time.
- 5/5
The showers are great and comfy beds
- 5/5
It was a nice friendly staff. The room was clean and quiet. Thank you for a comfortable stay!!
- 5/5
Good customer service
- 1/5
When checking in, the website said the pet fee was $10 but they wanted $15. There was a spider in the bathtub as well as a dirty ring in the tub. There was poop smeared on the wall next to the toilet. There was supposed to be a coffee maker in the room but it was missing. My sister found the window closed but unlocked which was scary. The thing that was really unsettling was that the back emergency exit was broken so anyone could walk right in without anyone knowing! Lastly, the metal bed frames stuck out and my sister and I both banged our legs.
- 1/5
So first impression was a bomb they gave me used envelope for the key card. The sheets were wrinkles obviously not changed and the pool was hot And the steps were slimy obviously not clean not recommending !!!!stay away!! Oh and breakfast was a huge joke !!!! Cereal and a waffle that's not breakfast
- 5/5
Clean quiet very friendly
- 5/5
Very clean. Helpful.
- 4/5
Nice but pool was ice cold.
- 4/5
The pool is open until 10 but they keep the lights and some of the filtration turned off until someone wants to use it so you have to just let them know you want to use the pool, the bathtub takes a while to warm up but it will, they don't do a COMPLETE job cleaning, just the minimum but I was glad that it had no body fluid left on the bed and it was pest free since I check hotels we stay in. It was affordable, and the staff was extremely nice.
- 3/5
Hotel needs updating
- 4/5
TV game was interrupted by a tv outage. Major football games!!!!
- 1/5
I hadda switch 2 rooms then i managed to bring em home so watch ur rooms there especially rooms 217 and 220
- 4/5
Staff was very polite and helpful We have to leave two days early due to personal reasons
- 1/5
Cons: noisy, unclean, stained sheets, room door loose but hard to open from inside (fire hazard), back door always open (unsafe), lots of trash near back door and along backyard boundary, bed uncomfortable like bars under mattress, bed base metal so sounded like metal drums banging with every move. Suggest bulldozing the place.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Nice Staff
- 1/5
The hotel smelled bad and the towels were so dirty do not sleep here if you have small children.
- 5/5
Bed was comfortable, clean. Definitely a good deal for a good price.
- 4/5
The staff at this property were extra friendly and helpful. The room is a little dated but very clean. Overall good value.
- 1/5
I reserved a room got a confirmation number. Came to the hotel only to be told they had no rooms they overbooked. I am from out of town all hotels were booked because of the fair. So I had to sleep in my car which was very uncomfortable it was cold had to turn heat on crack the windows so we wouldn't die from carbon monoxide poisoning. Had to refresh in the public hotel bathroon in the lobby. Does the hotel not know how many rooms they have. From out of town had no where to go and they did not care
- 3/5
Rooms were adequate but the "hot breakfast" was waffles and cold cereal and white bread for toast. No proteins were offered. I would not call this a " hot breakfast".
- 2/5
The staff were kind and attempted to b helpful with a terrible odor in one of our rooms. They offered spray or a candle. They did not have another room that was available. Sadly mold was found in the bathroom of that room. One of the guests is highly allergic to mold. Sadly there may be conferences for her because if the mold. This is unacceptable for a hotel. The mold was clearly visible and was avoidable. Very disappointed.
- 1/5
Dirty stains. On bath tub furniture busted cracked all around filthy
- 2/5
Beds were hard as a rock, 1st floor someone was smoking inside, smelled like an ashtray in the morning. I reported it, they didn't do anything.
- 4/5
Good
- 2/5
Exterior work being performed just outside my window.
- 4/5
Needs to be remodeled. Carpet down main isle is desperate need of help needs replaced. Need an ice mach at both ends of the building
- 3/5
It served it purpose. We only needed a crash pad for 8 hours. We checked in around midnight. The key card didnt work to open the room door and the staff wasnt around to help. There was about 15 minute wait . The room keys didnt work in the morning 😒 as well, but staff was available. There is a pool. There is a free breakfast but mostly waffles, no eggs or sausage. It served its purpose and it beat sleeping at a rest stop, but I wouldn't intentionally book my stay there again.
- 3/5
That there was not a bigger selection of breakfast
- 4/5
The pool was warm
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
Friendly and fast check in. Was a little concerned about cleanliness. Saw a few bugs in our room. (We brought our own spray). The bathroom was a little roughed up. The floor was cracked and caved a little bit when we walked on it. Beggars can’t be choosers though.
- 5/5
The entire staff was courteous and friendly. Would definitely stay at this motel again.
- 3/5
The hotel is old, but that doesn’t mean the room should be musty, dank, and the bathroom moldy. The sheets on one of the beds smelled strongly of bleach, and the other bed’s sheets faintly of bleach, so I at least knew my kids and I had clean beds. If my wife had been with us, she never would have stayed in that room. We thought opening the window would help the musty smell, but as the screen was broken that idea was a nonstarter. Breakfast was not as robust as the online pictures led me to believe it would be. There were waffles, two cereals, and oatmeal, but also a couple pieces of white bread and some little Debbie snacks.
- 2/5
As soon as we walked into the door to the hallway to the rooms that we were told was on the back side of hotel...smelled of not just cigarette smoke but other kinds...and even worse when we went into our room...we had an infant and we ended up leaving hotel not just from the smell but from feeling unsafe from the window that opened and not working locks too...all around we didnt feel comfortable or safe...
- 2/5
The room smelt horribly of cigarette smoke and it was a "non-smoking" hotel. The bathroom wall had either blood or feces on the wall. Carpet was old and run down. Beds were hard and uncomfortable.
- 4/5
Truly enjoyed the peace and quiet
- 5/5
Low key
- 4/5
Needs a lot of updstes and was told I'm not allowed to book through third party websites due to them losing money from it, desk pay only... Really sketch, if you're loosing money from it don't pay to advertise on third party sites.. Simple.

I was charged for the room by Days Inn after i booked and paid with Expedia. Had to go through the hassle of disputing it with my credit card. It was dirty smelly and the breakfast was a joke. Never again Day inn

- 1/5
Constant noise outside and above the room past 3am. Room wasn’t very clean with stained bedding and pillowcases.
- 5/5
The night front desk attendant was extremely nice and helpful.
- 3/5
Overall motel was okay. Room was clean and was able to have an early checkin which was nice. Areas were outdated but staff was friendly. Breakfast area a littl run down but we didnt eat there. Pool liked nice and refreshening but we didnt swim. No fee was asked for deposit. Overall a quiet place to sleep for the night
- 4/5
Quiet and clean.
- 1/5
Pool is green and cloudy
- 2/5
As soon as we walked in, one could smell weed. Floors in room needed a good shampooing and cleaning. Bed was super firm and didn’t get much sleep.
- 3/5
Too expensive for the same amenities of higher starred properties close by
- 1/5
The cleanliness of the room was terrible. The first room was so dirty we asked to switch rooms. The white sheets had black stuff on them, very dusty and dirty.
- 3/5
I got what I paid for so no complaints though the place looked old but could be made to sparkle. Bottom line: clean, comfortable, and an acceptable breakfast so a fair value for the price.
- 1/5
Front desk clerk rudeness to my son in law. Will never stay here again and will not recommend
- 3/5
Pool was murky and extremely salty, room had a musty smell, shower water pressure was way too high and hurt, building overall was very out dated. However the bed was comfortable and i slept well. Staff was friendly it was worth the price but i will not return.
- 4/5
It had a swimming pool.
- 4/5
Rooms in disrepair pool not properly mantained and to expensive for the quality
- 2/5
The carpet was disgusting. Needs to be cleaned. The tub was dirty. Had to shower in my slides. For the price the hotel was not worth it. I give 2 stars and thats only because the staff was nice.
- 3/5
Hotel was nice because it was right off the highway but the hallways smelled of food bathrooms weren’t clean there was a ring around the tub in every room we had hallways were loud from guess that stay there as there permanent home cost was high for the location. No towels in the pool area.
- 4/5
Cool
- 3/5
The room had a moisture problem. Linens felt wet and the room smelled moldy.
- 2/5
Limited breakfast no eggs or meat
- 4/5
We ended up here due to overbooking at our hotel a few miles north. This was ok, cheaper with a reason. Our room was non smoking but smelled of past smokers. Was a bit noisy from other people. Comfy bed though and we got sleep. Breakfast was a bit scant.
- 2/5
The room was dirty. The tv didn't work. The pull out couch was broke. Just a mess and loud. Never again.
- 2/5
But bed was comfortable, room dark and quiet.
- 4/5
Bathroom has water standing and shower had a different flow.
- 1/5
We have stayed at this hotel before and did not have any issues. This time it was horrible. We were given a room on the 2nd floor and told to come in the back door to get to our room. The back door does not lock, is littered with cigarette butts and had a mattress laying up against the building. Our room was filthy, stuff on the floor, dried stuff on the walls and something white all over the doors. The whole 2nd floor smelled of pot. A dresser drawer was broke and would not stay shut. We went to bed and the pillows are square throw pillows shoved into a pillow case. The mattress was the equivalent of sleeping on a concrete block My husband and I were up and down all night because of the noise in the hall and the uncomfortable mattress. I finally fell asleep after 4am. Then I was woke up at 8am with a bug crawling on me. That was it. I jumped in the shower to get anything else off of me and there were more bugs on the shower curtain. I took pictures of them, got dressed and left the room immediately. I went straight to the front desk and told the woman, showed her the pictures and her only concern was for me to go back to the room to show her where the bed bugs were at so she could treat the room for the next guest. I refused to step back in the room & it is not my responsibility to help her with her bed bug problem. Especially, considering there was a mattress laying outside I’m sure she already knows they have bugs. I have tried uploading pics but they are blurry.
- 4/5
I was pleased with my stay overall. My room was fairly clean. The only thing was the pull out couch had a stain on the bed and I had to go get linen for it. I am very sensitive to odors and smells. Many hotels have a musty stench, but this one did not! I was very grateful for this! Indoor pool was a welcomed surprise. It was clean, warm, and only available to guests. My only recommendations are to have linens for the pull out couch in the rooms that have this amenity, towels readily available for guests utilizing the pool and a bit of privacy to the pool area. The pool is right by the front desk and there were no blinds, curtains, tint, or anything to stop people from seeing in. I also felt it was strange to have to add a card for their file after paying online. I felt like I was compromising my financial security twice. I paid through PayPal because I like to limit the chances of my information being hacked. Having to add a card to their system seemed redundant. They should be connected to the system that was used to reserve and pay for the room. All in all, I recommend this hotel and will stay there again if or when I come to town.
- 2/5
Dirty and loud thought the night hours
- 1/5
This was the worst hotel ive ever been too. The blankets had dried up crusty stuff on it and stains on the beds . I asked if they could replace the blankets and bedding and they stated that they did not have any extras so basically whats in the room belongs to that room only since there is no extra bedding to replace them. So that make me thinks if they even wash them in between customers. Like how do you switch over the bedding for new customers then when they leave and a new customer shows up. Also a worker or possibly the owner / manager of the hotel was very rude and was cussing but i guess thats what i get for the price of the room. I would not recommend this place. The pictures on the website must be from awhile ago because it looks nothing like the pictures in person. Im so upset and our family was not able to have a good time but we had no choice since we couldnt get a refund and all the other hotels were all booked for the state cheer comp that our daughter was in with her school so thats we had to stay

The evening young lady that work on the 9th of January had a bad attitude real nasty with an attitude and didn't even want to get up and give me clean towels
