We love Hampton inn. I try and stay only at these hotels.

I liked that I was offered the chance to extend my check out a few hours. Originally, I expected an additional three hours but they allowed the extension for five hours! I have stayed here before, and now it has become my go-to place when I take a trip to Suffolk. I did not have an issue with this stay.

The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was medium. I have visited this hotel for a few years, but this is the first time the upholstery in dining room and guest rooms showed stains and tears. It is nearing a time to reupholster.

The room was clean but needed a little maintenance. It could use a little updating but nothing major. It was a little odd to see guys tailgating in the parking lot on a weekday. Some garbage was strewn about along the road but it could be from anywhere. Breakfast staff was fantastic-jovial, engaged and enjoyed what she was doing. The woman at the desk was very inviting seemed authentic about wanting people to enjoy their stay. The new parking fee is crappy-charge me more to park there and up the security or something

The location was nice but the cell service was sketchy. The hotel and hotel room was nice! We enjoyed the easy access to either, and the kindness of the staff. Unfortunately, there was children running down the hallway late at night and early morning.

Though co.puters were down Amanda efficiently switched to old school check-in & got us settled. Using the old school method Amanda kind of lost track that we'd checked in & put someone else in our room. She apologized & and immediately assigned us another room.

It was ok.

The room was spotless. Everything was clean. I will say the closet door that rolls into the bathroom seemed to be broken, but other than that the breakfast was good and the staff was pleasant and friendly!

The staff was wonderful. But, the conditions of f the hotel were NOT good! The faucet in the bathroom was loose, the shower didn’t have good pressure and both drained extremely slow. The wall needed painted. The flooring was raising in places. The baseboards in the bathroom was very dirty. I am sorry for not a good review; but, this hotel needs a total renovation.

I would not stay at this property again. Didn’t leave us enough tissues, so we had to ask for some. No in room safe. Breakfast was ok. The bathroom had a barn door.

Everything about the hotel very good however the pet policy was not good. On the Expedia website it stated $50 fee however they charged $75 for ONE NIGHT. The hotel charge for my 1 night stay for 2 people was $147. So my 16lb dog cost more than a person. The dog didn’t get a bed, didn’t take a shower and didn’t get free breakfast. Unfortunately this hotel chain is off my list when traveling with a pet.

Staff member at the front desk when we checked in was great. Very friendly, helpful and efficient. On the following days, the staff were OK, but not friendly. Breakfast area was clean and basic options were available, but staff seemed to have an issue with guests. She glared at me for saying "Good morning." but she was glaring at everyone. The mattress in our room was VERY hard. Great if you like sleeping on the floor or the equivalent. We woke up repeatedly with our backs hurting. Never again.

The property was clean in the front desk check in. The staff was friendly. The bed was not queen size,the pillows were flat and not comfortable,the pipes in the bathroom were banging so we had to keep the bathroom door closed at night so we could sleep.

Staff at checkin was rude, unwelcoming, and unhelpful. Even tho we had confirmation numbers for the four rooms booked (and prepaid), they would not allow anyone to checkin without the person whose name was on the reservation. We were all traveling in separately from different locations for a high school graduation, and she would not allow my 83 year old mother into her room even after speaking with us on the phone. She repeatedly mentioned that she had no obligation to deal with us because we had booked - again, prepaid! - through a third party. I have never had a more frustrating hotel checkin experience in my life. Ridiculous.

Breakfast good have been better. Had to ask to have the waffle mix refilled and had to ask for the potatoes to be refilled.

When i first got to the hotel. I ask the woman at the front desk could she check the room. Because i had problems with the rooms that i had the last three times that i stayed there. Moving back and forth from room to room. I have a prosthetic leg. And i always asks for accessible rooms. I got one this time. And when I walked in to the room. And looked in the bathroom it had one dirty towel hanging up in the shower. That show me and my wife that the room could be halfway clean. If we was not tired. We would had try to get my money back. It was our Anniversary weekend. Abunch of laughing and taking back and forth. We stay in Room 100.on the first floor.

It is the best maintained hotel in this area of Suffolk. The beds are very comfortable and rooms are clean and recently remodeled.

I am a military kid. I was in town for a reunion of military kids I had gone to school with in Naples, Italy. Your memorial table did not go unnoticed by me and my classmates who stayed at the Hampton Inn. Thank you for remembering what Memorial Day is all about.

Very poor service from the Manager and front desk staff. They overcharged me $720 on my credit card. I will not stay with you again and I will contact bank security. I will not recognize that double charge.

Housekeeping seemed a little perturbed when asked about linen exchange. I was annoyed by it. Kitchen staff were excellent, as usual. Front desk were cheerful and professional, as always. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. I would definitely stay again.

This was a late night, last-minute reservation on a looong drive. Desk staff was friendly and room was clean. Hated the bathroom door (weird slider that didn’t lock) but not a deal breaker. Husband and daughter said breakfast was great. Had to hit the road so we didn’t use the pool, etc. but would definitely stay again.

Bathroom sink clogged, kids knocking on doors and running till midnight.

My assigned room had a random item left on a chair, but I was quickly given another room. The 3rd floor hallway reeked of weed- the door opened and you clearly knew where it was coming from. Breakfast was not as good - fewer options and bland. I don’t feel like I’m getting the value of the Hampton name.

Our check-in was great; the Manager was cheerful as she provided details and description of the amenities as well as the room. When we walked into the room, it was immaculate throughout. And we always enjoy the breakfasts. I know we’ll be back in that area, and when we are, we’ll book there!

The fitness center was perfect for me to get a quick workout in. Nice elliptical and treadmill. Overall quiet stay. Only complaint was the bathroom floors were dusty around the edges and some tiles were a little loose.

This was by far the BEST experience we had ever had staying in a hotel! From checking in with Ms. Janet, to the wonderful staff running the delicious breakfast and our encounter with housekeeping staff , we were so impressed!!!! Everyone was kind, courteous and friendly. Beds were comfortable, water pressure in the bathroom was great. We will definitely make our stays in Suffolk be with The Hampton Inn every time!

Bug in the bed. TV has no guide and Hotel had no guide. Had to go to each Chanel individually to see what Chanel’s they had. Ridiculous. Toilet broken. Had to adjust the end side of toilet every time you flushed the toilet. Don’t stay there.

everything was great! a couple of things. the sofa at room 518 was not clean, perhaps spilled on previously, and the printout at the checkout time does not have the Inn's information.

Staff was very friendly here. They put out fresh baked cookies around check-in time when we came, and they were amazing! Our room and all the facilities were clean, and the area surrounding the hotel seems very safe as well.

This was our second stay there because we loved it the first time but this time I forgot my wedding ring in room 214 and when I realized it I called and was told it wasn't there. That lets me know the staff will keep any forgotten items instead of giving it to lost and found. I understand I was rushing and left it in front of the television but I did think housekeeping would turn it in.

They gave us water bottles everyday! Breakfast was delicious

The hotel was very nice and clean. The only issue we had was that the water pressure was very strong. So when you turn on the water in the sink, water went spewing everywhere!! The floor will have to be repaired very soon from water damage. This was also the case with the shower. We had to keep towels on the bathroom floor.

Convenient

Very professional and courteous staff. Clean. Reasonably priced for a weekend. Didn't get a chance to use the pool or weight room since we were only there one night. Would have loved breakfast to last until 11 am so we missed that, but overall a great place to stay. Will definitely be staying there during my next visit.

The stay was amazing. The hotel was very clean. They were pet friendly which made the stay better for us and our fur babies.
