    The TV and bed were bigger than other locations I was choosing between. Breakfast is about the bare minimum you would expect, though I would say the waffle maker is definitely a nicer addition than similar hotels have provided. Otherwise, their selection is definitely filling. Part of me hopes this place gets a renovation, because I like the location a lot. Not that I needed to go to Ikea, but it's right next store if I really wanted. The Sawgrass Mills Mall is also just north along with Walmart, Best Buy, and Publix. Anyway, I can't say I would eagerly come back otherwise. The experience has convinced me to spend a little more to get something newer or cleaner in the future. The room definitely showed its age. There was a crack on the wall of the shower, black marker on the mirror, sticky carpet, and a leaky sink. The window a/c feels poorly positioned, because the curtain interferes. Basically, the curtain is so large, it encases all the cool air against the window, and basically tricks the a/c into thinking the room is cooler than it actually is. I also got 2 hair conditioner, but no shampoo.

    We had a good stay overall. The room was clean. The front desk staff was nice. Parking spaces weren’t hard to find. But the WiFi was very slow at times. Breakfast was okay, but a few more options like sausages, bacon and oatmeal would have been better

    The linen and bath towels service was poor, we spent 4 nights and had to go every day to the front desk to replenish clean towels, trash liners. The pool was filthy with trash paper and dead leaves submerged in the water, The continental breakfast was limited to cold Egg and bread every single day, no fruits or choice of protein, Kitchen staff seen wiping counters and replacing condiments. Unsatisfied with general service at this hotel.

    Location to sawgrass mills, just a 5 min drive and coffee available 24/7 in the reception area Prior to check in I requested an upgrade to the room, however upon check in was told the upgrade of bedroom size does not exist and a refund would be made to my credit card. The room could have been bigger but it was comfortable enough, albeit outdated and in need of a spruce up. Was told the room would only be cleaned every 3 days, but as we checked out after 3 days our room remained uncleaned. Breakfast was poor, could have been better with some bacon and sausages. Only scrambled eggs resembling cardboard and waffles available for a warm meal.

    Absolutely horrible, the front desk worker was nowhere to be found upon my arrival. The hotel hallways were dirty could use a vacuum or two. The room in itself was beyond gross. The matter was gross honestly I’m not even sure how they have not been replaced. The bathroom wall the paint is peeling and the tub/shower was badly stained. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone

    The place was dirty from the start. There was a roach at check-in, and stains on the carpet in the hallways. The floors were sticky and it smelled bad. The door to the stairway leading to the outside was broken, and anyone could just walk in. It felt unsafe. The sheets had stains and were ripped. And the breakfast was an absolute joke. I would strongly suggest you stay away from staying here.

    The parking lot looked like it hasn’t been swept in weeks. The hallway carpet and walls were in poor condition. The room had rusted door hinges, old carpet, old furniture, missing recessed light trim, dented towel bar, corroded towel rack and toilet paper holder. The paint was poorly applied!

    This place is extremely outdated, and I’m genuinely surprised it holds a 7.4 rating. While the room was reasonably clean and the staff was friendly and helpful, everything else felt old and poorly maintained. The breakfast was especially disappointing. I wouldn’t stay here again, even at a significantly reduced price.

    This was a Jet2 Holiday hotel. I was floored by how gross it was. The outside started to get some renovations to the grounds. The flooring on the floor was horribly old and smelled like vomit. There were patches done to the carpet from leftover carpet that didn’t follow the pattern. The room flooring was gross too. Paint chipping on the lamp which had a layer of dust, something was growing on the door frame at the bottom of the bathroom. I hoped and prayed that the towels and sheets were clean but I’m not sure. Gross! Gross! Gross!

    The hotel has no WiFi the entire stay. The room has an awful smell that would not come out. The hotel then charged my card and additional $30 on top of the $75 deposit and when u attempted to call to receive an explanation the phone number for the hotel is not in service and the customer service can’t seem to figure out anything either. Still waiting on the general manager to respond to my email. The hotel pool and hot tub was filthy and unstable and the continental break is the same everyday so not worth the amount of money we paid to stay here B and horrible customer service

    The staff was very courteous and accommodating throughout my stay. They made an effort to fulfill my requests by providing me with a suitable desk and a quiet area to work, which I truly appreciated. However, the air conditioning unit was extremely noisy, likely due to its age and lack of proper maintenance, which made it difficult at times to fully concentrate or rest. The property is also in clear need of a deep cleaning, particularly the carpets and air conditioning systems. The hallway had a very strong odor of mold and humidity that became unbearable at times. This significantly affected the overall comfort and cleanliness perception of the environment.

    The room was very clean and the bed quite comfortable. It is a older property, but seemed to be very well maintained. I did not use any other facilities like laundry, pool or gym. The breakfast was adequate. The hotel is in a nice safe area of town. It was a good experience for a single traveler.

    This was a terrible stay. I had booked a 2 night stay and had to check-out after 1 night. This hotel is falling into disarray. The clean the carpets and booked people into rooms that still had wet carpet. Even with the ac running, the room was damp. Even the sheets. I requested to move to another room and the same issue. I had to get 2 blankets to spread on the bed to not sleep on damp sheets. The ceilings were cracked and showed signs of leaks, tub drain was broken, poorly painted touch ups and the breakfast offered left much to be desired.

    Room was old, no where to plug phones in but behind the bed or a wall with nothing there, room smelled like wet dog, bed skirting was dirty, power went out from 7:00 am to after noon, we had to come back to take showers in afternoon, no hand rail for shower to get in or out, came back to room in evening on Sunday and room was not cleaned or at least no clean towels left, I was told they were a green hotel; I said if so why don’t you have bars to hang the towels on to dry? Swimming pool was full of leaves and landscaping was full of trash for our 3 day stay. Will not recommend hotel or go back. Breakfast was not very good. Limited selection.(no fruit or yogurt) went to get coffee in the morning 9:30 and was taken up (no cups) No compensation for inconvenience.

    I liked the location but the facility was just average. I stayed Friday night but when I woke up in the morning the electricity went out in the hotel. I had to take a shower in the dark. I packed up my things and went to stay at a friends house nearby. They did get the power back on later on but I didn’t want to go back for Saturday night. I know this was probably a fluke thing but I wasn’t really happy with the situation.

    The location and price The property was very outdated and not clean. The rooms seems like they were motel rooms rather than a hotel. I’ve stayed at nice La Quintas before, but this was certainly not it. I was highly disappointed but unfortunately had no other option once I saw the property in person. I wish I would’ve taken pictures to show what I mean, but I was seriously just waiting for my check out date.

The young lady in the breakfast area goes above and beyond, and everything is kept clean and well maintained. I even had the chance to meet the owner and his wife—both very personable and genuinely kind, which says a lot about how the place is run. If you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet stay with a good breakfast to start your day, I highly recommend this hotel. It’s the La Quinta behind the gas station, and it’s been one of the best experiences I’ve had.

    The staff was pleasant and professional. The building exterior was pleasant-looking and inviting — deceptively so. The facility is badly in need of refreshing. My room had threadbare seat cushions on the chairs, stained lampshades, and flaking and peeling paint. The bathroom fixtures were dated and the tub looked so dreary that I opted not to take a shower in it. The breakfast room was small and crowded and there was no fresh fruit, oatmeal, yogurt or breakfast meats. It was one of the worst hotel breakfasts I've had.

    I booked this hotel based on my past experiences with La Quinta by Wyndham, which are usually clean, well-maintained, and a solid 3-star stay. Unfortunately, this location didn’t meet those expectations. The property felt quite dated and in need of renovation. Cleanliness could have been better, with noticeable issues like partially painted doors and cracks in the walls. Overall, it had more of a budget motel feel than what I’m used to from this brand. The pool was also not clean, which was disappointing. I likely wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

    This was the dirtiest and most unkept hotel I have ever stayed at. Not only was the building old and needs significant updating, but it was filthy. There was dirt all over the floor and we did not even have a shower curtain so water got all over the bathroom floor when we had to take a shower. The pillowcases had black marks all over them that appeared to be make up, the doors did not properly lock and it felt very unsafe. Just walking through the hallways smelled like mold and marijuana. It was an absolute disgrace and I would not let my dogs stay there. I actually felt sorry for the cleaning staff because it was a parent. They were trying their best, but I don’t know how they could possibly make an impact in that kind of environment.

    When I entered the room, I found it in an extremely unsanitary condition incl7dong mold in numerous places. There was a significant amount of long black hair on the bathroom floor and even inside the bed. Additionally, I discovered what appeared to be fecal matter on the sheet at the end of the bed. The ceiling was dirty, and the entrance door did not close properly. On one occasion, I returned to find the door partially open, which raised serious safety concerns. There was a strong smell of marijuana throughout the hotel. The coffee provided was of very poor quality, and the apple juice was spoiled, which caused me to become ill. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had! I expect this matter to be addressed promptly.

    I walked into the room and walked out immediately. There was a damp, sour, moldy, pool water smell that I had a visceral reaction to. I went to the front desk to see if I could change rooms. They were fully booked, so I started the process of working with Expedia to get a refund so I could find different accommodations. The front desk was initially helpful, but when it came time to speak with the Expedia representative he took the call in the back room instead of at the front desk, and I heard him minimize what the smell was and say all I had to do was run the AC. I called him on the dishonesty and he said he would check the room himself. We went to the room together and he again tried to tell me all I had to do was run the AC for a couple hours. That was unacceptable- the AC had already been running and they don't advertise their rooms as "good room, with a smell until you run the AC for a while," nor did I believe that would change anything. Back at the desk he then tried to say that he couldn't authorize it until the manager was there at 7am. I wouldn't be there to advocate for myself and the manager would probably just say the room was fine... 6 hours later (it was 1am at this point). He texted his manager and we were at an impasse until someone called the hotel looking for a room. He sold them my room and at that point the refund was initiated. Cherry on top was seeing a cockroach on the couch in the main lobby. Do not stay here!

    Absolute terrible hotel. Conditions should shut the hotel down. Tool pics of the rust and the mildew and the 30yr furniture. It was truly disgusting. No daily housekeeping. Did t replace linens or towels. Free breakfast was horrible. Just watery nasty plain egg inlet. No bacon. No sausage. No biscuits. No gravy. Stale muffins.Outdated cereal. - absolutely terrible.

    The most concerning aspect of our stay was that there was a family of raccoons that would come out at night which took over a large portion of the parking lot. A majority of the trip I was getting to the hotel later at night only to be met by a plethora of wildlife. While the hotel is cheap, highly recommend staying elsewhere.

    The staff were the only upside at this la Quinta. Everything else was terrible. There were roaches and ants in my room. One of the roaches was a baby so they have to be breeding in there. Everything was dated and not clean. I didn’t want to put my clothes in the drawers because when I opened them, they had an old musty smell. The shower leaked badly, the gym looked like it was cleaned monthly and not well. The breakfast was easily the worst I’ve had at a hotel. Outside there was trash littered about in the parking lot. There was a raccoon literally eating from the trash in from of where I parked and I had to be careful getting in my car. There was super shady behavior at night at the hotel as well. There was scantily dressed very young girls being escorted into the hotel every night. This was the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel. Don’t try and save money like I did. Just pay and get a better hotel.

    The room was old and needs updating . Carpet felt dirty . Bed was super comfortable. The dead bolt on our door did not work it was broken . AC worked for most part but it did not maintain the room at temp we set . The staff was super friendly and helpful . Location was great with stores close by .     We tend to never complain when we travel or eat out, we understand the job(s) are difficult in the current landscape. The room was fine, but there were numerous broken outlets, the TV didn’t work, and the breakfast was full of stale food. What bothered me most is that our door had to be slammed to properly latch and the hotel was noisy. People having conversations and hanging out in the hallway that kept us from sleeping well. I would not book this hotel again until significant renovations were made to upgrade the ambience and utilities for guests.

    The room was unclean, dingy and smelled. It really felt like cost didn't match the reality and the pictures and amenities not representative of the state of the facility. We also paid for insurance through expedia's plan and we told that was expire 2 days prior to our last night, which we did not need and was not refunded. I would score this place low but I think I would score expedia lower as this and the last lodging we booked through them was poorly reviewed. I'm not sure I would trust their review system anymore and likely wont use them. I would also not encourage my aquantances to use them.

    The night desk agent (male) was very nice and patient, despite having five people in line waiting to check in. The only good thing about my stay was the shower pressure. The room was very old, smelled extremely moldy, and had mold growing in paint outside shower. The floors were filthy with visible dirt on the bathroom floor. The bed sheets were still damp and it added dampness to the moldy room. The tub had black hair in it. The breakfast was very disappointing. Only had powdered eggs and bread (bagels, toast, waffles), no fruit, no yogurt, no proteins. Only drinks were oj and coffee. Not even water available.

    Location was good for what we needed, next to outlet malls. a night before a cruise & we had own transportation. Rooms were clean but nothing fancy. Probably a 2 star hotel no extras. Downside was breakfast area was too small & crowded. Minimum offerings but a basic breakfast. Nothing extra like some hotels. I would stay again if I needed a room for a night. You need a car to do any sightseeing.

    Yes the room felt neglected and the front desk guy was very ruled to the customers. Sofa lay out bed was full of mildew. linen had rust stains and blood stains on them. Room smell like mildew. Carpet very nasty outside and inside. The walls on each floor needs work. Toilet was hard to flush. We came down for a funeral and paid over 300 dollars for a room that was very poor and nasty. Ask for extra stuff and the guy couldn't give us anything. I still haven't got my 50 dollars deposited back.

    Good and very responsive staff. Hotel itself is dated and needs refurbishment. For instance our room lock was broken and could only be unlocked with the managers master passkey. The carpets are worn and dingy, and there was an approximate 2x3 area on the ceiling where the paint had peeled away to expose the ceiling panels. However the room was clean and the bed comfortable and it was a good location relative to the highways going west. So it's a mixed bag, we were saying overnight so it was ok but it wouldn't be our first choice for a longer stay.

    There was a machine to make coffee in the room, however they only provided plastic cups . The next day I was able to take some paper cups from the front desk where they have Coffee urns. Would just be nice to have cups able to handle hot water in the rooms so you could have a drink without having to get dressed & go downstairs. Overall the rooms & lobby were a bit dated but the location was convenient for our purpose and a short ride by Uber to Sawgrass Mills. Starbucks about a five minutes walk away.

    I find my reservations at first when I was checking in. Get to my room finally in the AC does not work. Switched me to another room and fire. Alarm keeps beeping.     The beds were comfortable and A/C worked well but the rooms had a bad old musky smell that never went away even after runni ng the A/C for 2 days.     The staff was friendly and courteous. The building surrounding was good. However, I stayed in room 416. It smelled musty, and dusty. My friend asthma acted up badly and she got very ill especially on the last night we stayed. We are currently back in Trinidad and she is unable to return to work as she has to take medical leave for a few days. As for me, I also had a difficult time breathing ... smelling the dust. I believe the situation got worst after the vacuuming of the room on the 3rd day of our stay. The dust lingered in the room. I recommend that the room should get some fresh air periodically and have a device installed for better extraction of dust etc in the room. Also, La Quinta was booked out (I was informed by the front desk) and the breakfast area was too small to accommodate the volume of guest who were trying to get their meals and eat it in the said area. Perhaps, consideration can be given to open an area by the pool or somewhere outdoor to facilitate peak time

    Entryway floor was not swept. The soap is horrible for washing hands. The room was not well ventilated. Room was very stuff and gad a musky smell. Sheets on bed did not feel clean. Quality and color is ugly. The carpet was not vacuumed. The breakfast had only carbs. No fruit or hot options other than waffles or eggs. The breakfast eating area was small,cramped for # of people at hotel. Walls need painting update. Staff was ok but at check in confused with basic questions about location.

    From the start there was a gloomy feel to the outside. The reception was good, lack of info on the laundry process, but stick a pin. The room was very old fashioned, there was a musty renky smell, like old carpet masked with some form of deodorizer. The bed was hard and u could feel the springs. Shower had a curtain, really in Dec 2025, who does that. The washer and dryer uses quarters, which obviously the reception doesn’t have, the card section seems to be malfunctioning or not accepting international cards, sucked up $3 in quarters and no refund. Had to leave and go to a coin laundry at 1am. The breakfast is poor, eggs bland with basic options. The waffles and coffee was good. I won’t stay here again or recommend it.

    The smell of mildew and mixed cleaning chemicals made it hard to breathe. The bleach stains on the rugs, damp rugs were filthy. The bathroom was filthy, dirt crust on floor. The refrigerator didn’t work and the air conditioner was weak. Overall, horrible. Never stay there again. I checked out immediately that night for the next day as I booked the room for the weekend.

    The rooms had a bit of a musty smell and definitely outdated. If you just need a reasonable place to stay for a night or two with a pool and minifridge, it works. However, I personally am going to book a different property next time I'm in the area for the Cleveland clinic in Weston. The musty smell made me concerned it might affect my already poor health, however it is located in Florida with a window that could be opened so other rooms may not be as bad if their windows are inoperable or less used.

    The hotel lobby was dated. The room had comfortable bed but I wish they had more pillows. The room was very noisy at first with what appeared to be a motor running with bad bearings. I notified the front desk clerk who in turn advised the manager. The manager went upstairs and turned off what appeared to be a loud exhaust fan on the roof.     We ended up driving 3 hours back home early because we had no where to stay. You would think for $130 a night it wouldn’t be so disgusting. This hotel should be rated $60 a night. Best part about this situation is they won’t even refund me for a room I refused to sleep in. Don’t stay here. Trust me.

    The management is great. They are helpful, friendly. Unfortunately, I cannot give this hotel a good rating. The cleanliness is below a zero. I had to switch rooms because it, I found a dead bug and the previous guests eating utensils in the drawer, and although my second room was better, it wasn’t the best. I found a tooth (yes, a human tooth) under the desk, it was nauseating. The hotel needs an update. The carpets are worn and smell musty, the bathroom door didn’t shut properly, and the outlet plate was coming off, that’s dangerous for children. It’s a shame that the management tried so hard to be friendly and accommodating, but they have to take the heat due to a poor cleaning staff. The WiFi was awful and the “gym” was a joke. The pool was lovely, could have been vacuumed, but was very nice. I wish I could give a better rating because of how helpful and pleasant management was but I can’t because of the cleanliness. I could go on but there isn’t enough space. I feel awful for the managers.

    place was completely filthy with dirty and sticky floors and carpets. All the furniture was stained and smelly. The buffet was terrible compared to every other La Quinta where I’ve stayed. The only redeeming feature is that the bed was comfortable and the gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant this facility also does not have any USB ports for people who need to connect in charge

    Cigarette butts and plastic glasses in the overflow trough of the pool. Ceiling fan in our room didn't hardly move and was coated in grime, desk lamp shot sparks when we attempted to turn it on. We unplugged it to ensure safety. Spider webs in corners and dirty baseboards. Bathtub faucet had mildew. Was going to take a bath but the soap scum in a brown layer changed my mind. The toilet seat fell off after the first use. We would have left but everything in the surrounding area was sold out due to The Who concert. At least we didn't see evidence of bed bugs.

    The front desk was very personable, even though they could not find my reservation using my husband's first name instead of just the last name and itinerary #. The bathroom door stuck. The fire sprinkler and doorframe in the bathroom were rusty. The AC was not cold even though we had it on 73. It was just vey damp feeling. The mirror on the wall looked like it was hazed over from the dampness but it didn't wipe away, nor did it wash away. My clothes were damp when I took them out of the suitcase several hours later. The breakfast was dismal. The person setting it up didn't speak English.
