    Cheap daily parking ($9) and free shuttle. I have patience for them being under construction, but the crew doing the job is kinda careless and the first floor is a total mess. Wood, plaster, dust, and even food on the ground.

    I stayed in a renovated unit which I appreciated. Everything was clean and in its own place. My only issue was the roach that came out at night. The property is technically near some woods and they’re renovating the property so the roach could’ve came from a multitude of places. I only saw one so I killed it. And I was only in the hotel for less than 10 hours due to a really early flight in the morning. But front desk was super nice, I slept really well, and everything was clean as far as I could see.

    The kitchen had one bowl and plate but we did not use it. The dishwasher was not clean. The walls and kitchen cupboards had stains - I found myself wiping them down. The carpet had a huge stain. I made multiple requests for 2 extra towels because they only provided 2- the extras never were provided.

    Currently getting renovated... There were bare electrical wires sticking out of the wall in my bathroom and the faucet wasn't really secured to the sink. I get that they're renovating, but it seems like they might have been able to do something better here. We arrived late and only stayed one night, so I didn't bother complaining to the desk people but she seemed nice.

    Overall, pretty average stay. The 4th and 3rd floors are renovated rooms, however, we travel with a pet so requested a 1st floor, non-renovated, room. It DEFINITELY needed renovation. However, the room was clean and fine. My main complaint is that the wheels were broken on both of the luggage carts which made a miserable move in and move out. Honestly, fix the luggage carts!

    The hotel is in the middle of a remodel. Many of the small kitchen items are not there yet. The staff was able to give us a set of dishes for two when we asked. They are also waiting on replacement items (like refrigerators) to arrive. The current fridge was roomy, but the ice maker did not work. The microwave and dishwasher worked fine.

    (1). It took over half an hour to check in because we hadn’t paid for parking via Expedia. That wasn’t a problem the last time we stayed there and they eventually figured it out. (2). As with the first time we stayed there in a different room, the shower door doesn’t stay closed and this in a newly remodeled room. (3). No hair dryer and when I asked for one at the desk I was told they didn’t have any and no empty rooms to get one. (4). The first time we stayed here, we had one bed which was pushed up against one wall so that I had to crawl up and down the bed to get in and out. This time we paid extra for two beds. Both beds are pushed up against walls so if you have more than two people, be prepared for the inconvenience.

    Newly renovated. Very nice rooms now. Very close to the airport. This is a nice stay now, and deserves better than the 6.5 rating it had. I will be staying here whenever I fly out of Syracuse. They also have affordable long term parking available for folks using the airport too. Free shuttle to the airport too.

    Returned from our flight 3/10/26 @ 11:10 pm and was unable to reach anyone at the hotel for the shuttle to return to our car at the hotel! I tried numerous times and we had to pay $22.50 for a taxi to get our car. Very disappointed with being unable to reach the operator!!

    The hotel is being updated. I'm 75 years old and this room was the worst room I've ever stayed in my life. They should never have rented out this room. When you picked up the table, the legs dangled from side to side. I couldnt put anything on it...including my elbows...without the table rocking side to side. The chair was tattered. The maintenance man needs to get a raise. I was in the process of seeing what other hotels near by had a vacancy when, after I complained, he found me a new table and chair. I was upset and he still treated me well. The website shows a deli style cooler. This cooler doesnt exist. I was dropped off at the hotel to spend the night before an early flight out of SYR. I had planned on grabbing a sandwich out of the deli cooler for dinner. I ended up having to walk to the nearest food place...Taco Bell...across a 4 lane road. Except for the maintenance person, this place is a total thumbs down.

    Had to wait for the front desk staff to show up to check in. The toilet wasn’t attached securely so every time anyone sat on it it would mae a racket, waking people up. There was a lot of noise outside the room making it difficult to sleep. The whole place was under construction with plastic lining all the rugs on the 4th floor.

    I hate that I have to give it a low rating bc the staff was amazingly friendly. However the facility itself was in very poor condition. The shower wasn't draining. I spotted some roaches. The walls had mold and poorly patched holes. The doors closed very loudly and the hotel is by a construction truck facility

    Hotel is understaffed and things just take longer than is necessary. Van service to airport is marginal and vehicle too small. We had to get an UBER on our own. Room was clean and acceptable but many people seem to be living full time in hotel which is a bit unusual.

    After I checked in and received key they gave the next person who checked in (complete stranger) keys to my room also. Luckily we both rode elevator together and the young lady realized it as she saw me (a male senior citizen) using key card to enter room. We together went back to lobby desk and it was resolved.

    Where do I begin. Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Someone had wrapped a towel around the smoke detector in our room, I went to call the front desk & the phone didn’t work so went right back downstairs with a picture, they didn’t care and said it was like that in several rooms.. no sooner did I return to my room where my husband had just been walked in on by 2 other guests who were given the same room and room keys, almost immediately following our check in. Then the shuttle in the morning was okay, except they overbooked it so there wasn’t enough seats for the people they’d given the time slot for. I stay in both the candle wood suites on Fort Drum constantly and they are beautiful, what a shame this one is a dive. We won’t be back.

    The lobby was nice. First room we entered into had such a terrible scent of food and dirt. The toilet when flushed the water was rising and then it couldn't flush. After speaking with reservation we were moved to a room on the first floor. OMG the scent and smell of the room again smelt badly. At that point we were there for graduation and could find another hotel. We went to target and purchase Lysol, Clorox wipes and disinfectant and clean the room in order for us to spend 2 nights. For sure the rooms need better fans etc. Each time we walked into that room the scent was horrendous. Now for the bed we found other human hairs which told us the sheets was not changed. We also had to get extra sheets to change it ourselves. We do have pictures of everything. The floors was sticky and can see the dirt on our socks. The sink in the bathroom was fitly, also have pic of the dirt that came out of it (gross) In order to not be in that room for too long we stayed out later than usual and only slept at night. Yes I understand that this is a new ownership and it would take time to renovate but try walking into those rooms and see if you as a human appreciate the stench and dirt. IHG is known for high standards and I had those expectations but this was the worse. Mind you this is my second time staying at this hotel. I gave it a second try and hope that the renovations was done but the experience did not improve. For all of this reasons I would not recommend any human to stay

    Great staff and very clean and quiet. My only caveat was the internet kept going in and out. I would easily recommend staying here. I’m a traveling nurse and I would come back here in a heartbeat.

    The room was not clean. The bed cover was dirty and there were many spider webs following down from the ceiling. The bathroom was not clean. We did not stay and I would advise management to improve the property and hire staff to clean the room

    Additionally they advertised a free airport shuttle and we were told to call 24 hours in advance of our arrival to reserve it. When we called and tried to reserve the shuttle for our 12:30 am airport arrival we were told the shuttle stopped running at midnight. It was too late to cancel our reservation to get a refund of our prepaid room charge. They should post the shuttle hours of operation. Their neighboring competitor operates its shuttle until 4am.

    It was a good value. We were close by to the airport which is what we wanted without having to pay an exorbantant amount of money. The property was very nice and we could not ask for better service! Thank you.

    The staff was rude and incompetent. The hotel didn't have a shuttle even though it advertised that they did.The desk clerk told us to walk with our luggage and disabled mom to Holiday Inn and try to use their shuttle or take an Uber. Upon entering the hotel the clerk was sound asleep at the desk. No hot water in our room. The common areas were dirty. The hair dryer wasn't working.

    This was a very convenient place for our vacation. There were basic dining options right across the street, and many more within a short drive. The room was a bit worn, but it was clean and everything worked. the staff was very helpful.

    The room was clean but in serious need of updating. I’ve never been in a hotel with wrinkled sheets before. It was so odd, like tight deep wrinkles. Cigarette burns on counter tops and a lingering smell of smoke in the room. The water was hot, but learn to shower in the dark as the lights are motion activated and turn off after 5 minutes. The sensor is pointed towards the door so you can’t wave your hand over the shower curtain to keep the lights on. Bathroom vanity is rotting at the bottom. Scuff marks throughout the room on the walls. Tissues smelled like mildew.

    I chose this because it was close to the airport. It was disgusting. From the outside it looks fine, but it was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. There is a hotel across the parking lot that I stayed in last time and I would recommend that one. I chose this one because it was cheaper, but it’s worth paying extra for the other hotel.

    I would advise to not stay here. The rooms are dirty and smell of cigarette smoke. Shower and sink both were covered in mold, I also found hair on the kitchen counter top and bed. If I wasn’t beyond exhausted from driving from Maine I would have done better research of this place. If you had the choice of sleeping in this hotel or your car, choose your car.

    We checked in and the first thing we noticed was people smoking outside the main entrance. cigerate butts all over the ground. Rooms were not very well lit and had marks on the walls. Not enought water presure in the shower. Close to the airport however no transportation was available by the hotel. Price was about the only thing OK this property

    This place was a dump. The bathroom faucet leaked. The bathroom sink was cracked. The water was rusty colored. The lobby was filthy. There were crusty patches on the carpet in the room. And, best of all, there were what appeared to be toe nails on the bathroom counter top. It was horrible.

    Had a kitchens, but no pots & pans or utensils, only 1 coffee cup but a coffee pot. Peeling paint by bathroom, ledge around shower dusty, tv selection terrible, cupboard door falling off, moved a chair and found pretzels. The outside area was nasty cigarette butts all over bc there was no ashtray offered. Extended my stay and when I called down to keep room I was in I was told”I will have to call you back”, I never got call back I called them.

    Very dated, room was loud with the heater and refrigerator. Every time I turned over in bed, the motion sensor on the light in the kitchen went off. All.night.long. I was staying there for an early morning flight at the airport. Finally I just got up and went to the airport.

    The room was on huge discount compared to the neighbor hotels, so I read the reviews. It seems like the previous management let it go. But new management is “trying” to turn it around. Upgrades and paint and new details. But it takes time and I understand that. When I got there, the lobby was full of people checking out, at 9pm.. luggage all over and everyone watching TV like I walked in to someone living room unannounced. They checked out but didn’t actually leave the hotel. They were all still there at midnight when I went to bed. The key cards I got didn’t work the first 4 times. I stay at a lot of hotels so I have learned to go to the room first to make sure the keys work before you fill your arms with luggage. Thank goodness I did, it was a long 4 walks to try the cards. The desk guy only had a pile of used old cards he just kept trying them till one worked. Staff really was trying their best and friendly. Other than the lobby and keys it was a great stay, clean quiet and comfy. Even the lobby and keys are not a deal breaker for me with a 50.00 room.

    The parking is shared with another hotel and tucked behind a storage facility, easy to miss. Initial room 226 (and respectively 326, etc.) should be avoided, as they are facing the busy street and are directly behind the elevator - ended up switching rooms to get some sleep.

    The toilet was broken, the room was dirty, outdated, broken down and gross. This property is ruining your brand. There was garbage on the floor in the hall. The shower curtain was messed up, furniture beat up, closet door frame damaged, etc. it’s like staying at a fraternity house the night after a party.

    When we arrived the front desk worker was amazing. The room was not clean at all, floor dirty, someones earring was on the floor, silverware had dried food on it, bathroom unswept, leftover food in the fridge. When we brought the issues to the manager Heather Brockways attention she told us the housekeeping supervisor is who "cleaned" the room and implied we were lying. While speaking to her she continued to give us attitude about the issues. When we asked for a number to speak to someone about the issues she told us they didnt have one.

    I honestly don’t feel I could properly describe our shock when we walked in to this hotel. It seemed surreal, I am not sure how someone can operate a hotel and it be that dirty. Our towels had hair on them. there was a red liquid on the carpet and splattered on the doors. The bathroom had sticky substances on it and there was a really terrible smell. If we did not have such an early flight, I would’ve changed hotels, but we just did not have the energy I can’t believe what I saw.
