the clesning lady grabbed my dirty towels without gloves. blegh. they dont wash the blanket daily, just the sheets. i had the blanet thrown on the ground because i wasnt using it... came back in the room and she had taken it straight off the ground and put it back on my sheets. blegh. during sheet change you have no sheets or bedding for over an hour because they dont have extra pairs, they just take and wash your same set. the room REEKED of stale pot smoke. worst stay ever.

Parking and convenience to the locations we were visiting was good. The property was fine - about what you’d expect. Incredibly over priced, but so was everything since it was graduation weekend. We never felt unsafe or uncomfortable. My only real complaint is that the room smelled awful. I can’t even come up with words to describe what the odor was. It was not cigarette or any other kind of smoke smell. That would have been better than this odor. But by the time we checked in it was far too late to find anywhere else with availability- again, there were several graduations happening that weekend.

Clean ,convenient for the price! Great

Very descent place, a lot convenient around. The only bad thing is people drinking in the parking lot, late night.

It was a pleasant experience staying at this property. I was nervous to stay there however it beat my expectations. I would stay there again in the future.

The location was were I needed to be! The room door looked like it was kicked in making it where the door didn’t lock but they had a chain locked that worked and I placed the desk chair in front of it. It worked!

Nothing There was absolutely nothing I liked about this hotel. It was way too over priced, bugs, leaking water and filthy old furniture. I had to call them to change the smoke detector because it was beeping every 2 minutes.

The cleanliness of the room was terrible. Spider webs and dead roaches on the floor. My wife and daughter were paranoid of bugs and rodant sounds throughout the night and did not sleep. Booked the room for 2 nights and left after the first night. They would not refund us for the second night. Also, there were people being loud outside the room. Someone wiggled the door handle. Police were outside searching the area for evidence from a crime. Just a terrible experience. Terrible customer service. There's no way we will book again.
- 5/5
The hotel is nice. Good and basic accommodations. Front staff is nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The rooms that face the road are a bit noisy but that’s nothing the staff can control. So if you need it to be quieter then ask for a room that faces the back of the property. We were just in town for one night for an event and it’s located close to a lot of restaurants.

Parjing was easily accessible. Room was very clean, especially the bathroom. It was sparkling clean!

The staff was fabulous. I went here after I had a bad experience at another hotel spoke with the staff and the accommodations were great. The room was clean. It’s smelt like it had just been cleaned. The bed was comfortable. It was very quiet. I can say I got a peaceful nights rest. The outside of the building is not bad. I go to Tallahassee once a month and from now on this will be my go to a hotel. I loved it.

I booked my reservation on a pet friendly site. When I got there, I was told no pets. When I was looking for another hotel, they reappeared on the same pet friendly site. In their defense, they did let me cancel my reservation and refunded all my money.
- 5/5
Everything was extremely nice with daily.Cleaning would definitely come back
- 4/5
Booked this for a big football game night. Was expensive bc of surge pricing but totally worth it to have a place to crash. Service is friendly and easygoing. Our door was a little flimsy and room was pretty bare bones, but the bed was comfy, room was pretty clean, and I love having a mini fridge in the room and phone charger plugs in the bedside lamps.
- 3/5
Parking was good, was quite area, the linen was stained up everywhere. I had to go buy sheets because I was uncomfortable with the filthy look
- 2/5
Furniture damaged and aesthetics terrible.
- 4/5
I brought my own bedding bc of the poor reviews on the pillows, sheets and blankets. The bedspread was very dated and old looking but the sheets and blankets were clean. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The AC was cold and the unit wasn’t too noisy. Bathroom amenities were very limited but I brought my own toiletries so no discomfort or disappointed. While I don’t appreciate the price hikes throughout all the hotels in Tallahassee during Parents Weekend, my stay at this Econo Lodge was a pleasant surprise.
- 3/5
Clean room but could use a little updating
- 4/5
Served it's purpose.
- 4/5
Clean room, good customer / staff service
- 2/5
We found the staff to be attentive upon our arrival and had fresh coffee in the morning. There were several (multiple) bugs in our room (room and bathroom) as well as rust in the bathroom, the bathroom door was needing to be repaired or replaced, and the bathroom walls were dirty (had splatter from some mystery dark matter).
- 2/5
The room was the closet one to the main road way and was super noisy. The room was supposed to be a nonsmoking room yet smelt strongly of smoke.
- 4/5
The only issue we experienced was a couple having am argument on the staircase outside our room. They started at around midnight as they went up to their room and stayed out there for a good ten minutes. And then an hour later they left their room again and argued outside more. This isnt the fault of the hotel, theres nothing they can do to avoid customers being rude outside. Most hotels are a bit noisy. But them being outside basically in front of the rooms just made it seem louder, so that's something ro remember. Essentially though, you know what youre getting into. It's not pretending to be some new building with a million ammenities. It's a lodge that we're all going to to have a place to sleep and take a shower, and it does that very well and is very clean.
- 4/5
Clean well kept-a hair dryer would have been nice.
- 3/5
Low cost option. Nothing fancy, just a room
- 4/5
But that was the surroundings. Overall, the hotel was fine. The room was fine and the housekeeper was very courteous and nice to talk to.
- 5/5
Love it there
- 1/5
The property mainly houses transients, so the exorbitant rate we were charged was targeted directly at FSU parents in Tallahassee for graduation. The open tables in the dirt area next to the stairs were consistently populated by homeless people who would yell obsenities at us as we came and went. The 'included breakfast' did have a coffee pot, but the pre-packaged pastries rack was always empty, even at 7:00am, with the response that prior guests had already taken the provided 'breakfast'. There were no coffee facilities in the rooms and the microwaves did not work, Our rooms were moldy with sagging ceilings, and the constant yelling from the homeless outside our door prevented any restful sleep. We were afraid to leave our car in the parking lot, so we parked in the shopping center across the street and walked in. There were two arrests at the hotel in the short time we were there. DO NOT STAY IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT. It was disgusting and terrifying.
- 3/5
Could use new furniture to update the looks of the room. Not enough light to put on make-up properly. I always travel with my own lighting system for make up, but should not be necessary.
- 4/5
I liked the geese we could hear from behint the hotel.
- 1/5
This was a horrible experience for me. The hotel was in horrible condition. The room they were puttingbwas on the back side ofbthe hotel was NO parking and very dark . I had tobwalk around the back in the dark to my room. Very very unsafe for acwoman traveling by herself. I asked for another room but all rooms in the lighted side were smoking rooms! I canceled my reservation and was told Ibwould NOT get a refund!! Don't book a room at this nightmare of a hotel!!!
- 3/5
Don't bother with the continental breakfast -if there's any left - though the coffee was fine. The reception area is dated. It can be noisy with cars blaring in the parking lot late at night. And it definitely felt sketchy. It should be a budget hotel but it was a busy weekend and it wasn't. The other Econolodge in Tallahassee is better.
- 1/5
The service was awful. The staff barely spoke English and had noticeable body odor. The hallways constantly smelled like weed, and the entire place was dirty. The bathrooms were covered in soap scum, the sheets were stained, and the air conditioning didn’t cool the room properly. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
- 3/5
It was okay.
- 4/5
Very Cody
- 1/5
The room smelled disgusting. Very, very noisy, cars passing by all the time with the music really loud. The hotel needs a total renovation (or demolition)
- 2/5
The microwave in room 126 was filthy and did not work. They moved me to room 124 because I need a microwave and the refrigerator was not cooling. Overall sleep was good room was fairly clean, but they need to improve their amenities greatly.
- 5/5
It was exactly what I needed for the night. Hotel beds typically make my back hurt, but not this one.
- 3/5
Convenient location, you get what you pay for, room just ok breakfast basically just coffee, no amenitites
- 3/5
When thats when most people wake up at around 9:00? Make it like between 7:00 to10:00 and give people enough time to rest up! I guess you're expecting people to wake up at about 5:00 in the morning to start having breakfast at 6:00 a.m.!!!!! Jeezuzz!

That said, the plumbing worked, the lights worked, the staff did their job, and furnishings were as expected if the structure was a bit run down. You might stay there if it is offered at low cost or nothing better is available.
- 5/5
Close to intestate. .plenty parking & eating places
- 5/5
Convenient
- 1/5
I did not like anything. There were people hanging out drinking l. Furniture pushed out in the parking lot. Other guests were on a profanity rant. We never got any sleep.
- 2/5
Hotel velho com manutenção ruim. A porta não precisava de chave porque ficava aberta direto. O café da manhã era um engodo porque era apenas uma máquina de suco, uma garrafa de café para se servir e um, isso mesmo, um rolinho de canela por pessoa.
- 5/5
The staff was considerate, helpful.
- 1/5
Room was not clean, mold was in the bathroom, the room had broken furniture. The toilet in bathroom was not secure to the ground and kept running. There was a homeless camp across the street.
- 1/5
Hotel was very run down. Furniture was nrok appliances were old the smell was horrible. Toilet water kept running. Never again would I stay at this hotel. I do not recommend
- 3/5
The room just looked old looking, and there wasn’t enough toilet paper
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was great that I was able to give the deposit in cash instead of a hold being on my credit card. The location was right off the highway which was a huge plus. The bathroom door would not close and there was a stain that looked like a urine stain on the mattress cover which I had found the morning of me checking out while looking for my cell phone. I would still stay at this location again.

Won’t let my daughter check in!
- 2/5
The room door looked like it’s been broken down and fixed at. There were spider webs or cobwebs in the corners and mold in the window ceils and the sink was cracked. Also be ready for an unasked for wake up call an hour before check out.
- 5/5
Nice clean excellent staff and front desk comfortable bed
- 3/5
Not anything special but not the worst. No room odor and fairly clean and comfortable. Receptionist was somewhat rude, insisting that we pay a cash deposit. Refrigerator in room leaked daily. No breakfast item other than coffee.
- 2/5
Dead roaches on floor Shower head leaked while running bath Holes in sheets Not enough pillows or no decent blankets on bed Door pulls on dresser hanging and not installed Breakfast ridiculous Didn’t even put juice out every morning.
- 5/5
The pricing was excellent! The staff was wonderful and made me feel welcomed. It’s a bit old of an establishment, but everything was just right.
- 2/5
Very dirty, dirty sheets with big yellow stains, smells terrible and bad area. Unhelpful staff

- 5/5
very well maintained. really could not find any flaws. also, very clean. very good price, but hard to beat at any price.
- 1/5
Got a non smoking room and it smells like cigarettes and the door lock is broken
- 5/5
It’s an older hotel, but for the price and what we needed it for it was fine. It was clean and the staff was very friendly.
- 2/5
In town for the FSU game. Hotel was not the best. Definitely not for a family with kids. It was just my wife and I. Door was very hard to shut. Chain on door did not work properly. TV remote did not work.
- 3/5
Econo Lodge was a last minute decision , because all other motels had tripled in price. It’s not what I’m use to the rooms are old and outdated. The washcloths had stains. Honestly my husband and I both slept in our clothes because it was meager accommodations we were just not use to. The refrigerator is old and dirty. The comforter had cigarette burns, y’all really need to update the property. I guess you get what you pay for, but once again I was scared to take my clothes off. I just don’t know what to say I guess for the price and hotel it was ok. I will never do it again.
- 5/5

Checked in and that might be the best part. Room had roaches and bugs.
- 4/5
The place was convenient
- 5/5
Was a great location, hotel staff, room and restaurant
- 1/5
The room smelled so bad, that I immediately went to Walmart to buy Lysol spray and wipes and attempted to disinfect every surface in the room. The smell never subsided. The floors were filthy and had what appeared to be a dried liquid on it. The bed had multiple cigarette burns AND ASHES on the sheets and bed covers. I had to request new linen. I actually slept with my clothes on. This was actually the second room. I requested a different room after walking in the first room, and finding it not clean and smelling of strong cigarette smoke. Unfortunately the Hotel was completely sold out for FSU family weekend so there were no other options.
- 4/5
People were nice, its an old property. Very noisey in the area.
- 4/5
I had low expectations for this place since we've never stayed at a place like this before and had to do since it was family weekend at FSU and everything was crazy expensive. What pleasantly surprised me was how clean everything was. We even took our own sheets, towels and pillows, but ended up using theirs.
- 3/5
We were pleasantly surprised with the Econo lodge - comfortable clean rooms. The area is ok - but you can definitely hear the traffic & emergency vehicles around you.
- 3/5
In a convenient location
- 2/5
Too noisy. Unruly people in the area

I loved the Hotel. Nice staff, excellent location and very clean rooms. I will surely stay again,

I have never been so disrespected and treated poorly by a business as i was at this hotel. Me and my son checked in to this hotel and two days later we were told we couldnt extend that we had to check out because they had no available rooms. Then they changed their story and said the hotel was closing due to remodeling.Come to find out it was all a lie they just didnt want me and my son staying there cause we looked like trouble. Please explain that to me. Another time before this time i made a reservation at this hotel and paid online for myself, my pregnant daughter and my grandbaby and when we arrived the husband said our room was being cleaned and would be ready in a hour. So we sat in the car waiting. Then his wife came in and as soon as ahe seen me she informed me that i could not stay there because she didnt feel comfortable renting to me.Just because she caught her husband staring at me. Ive seen prostitutes and drug dealers in and out of this hotel and they were never kicked out but me and my children get kicked out. Seems every hotel thats owned by indian people or patels they have a problem with me and im sick of it. My money is just as good as any damn body elses and im fed up with being judged by you people. Maybe you need to look in the mirror and judge your damn self before you judge somebody else!!!!
- 5/5

- 2/5
There was a roach in bathroom
- 1/5
Bedsheets and blanket with holes. Old extremely loud air conditioning, noise isolation is zero.
- 3/5
The young lady who checked us in was friendly but didn’t care we had a complaint regarding the people that was sitting outside of our room drinking. After the 3rd call to office and realizing our TV wasn’t working ww called again and was given another room immediately by the young lady who had just come on to start her shift. I would never stay here again but it was a last minute booking because my daughters bed didn’t arrive in time
- 4/5
It was a nice place to get some rest for the night.
- 3/5
This hotel was quite clean compared to the one I had stayed at previously. Was overall pleased.
- 2/5
nothing unique
- 1/5
Bugs were in bathroom. Cigarette holes in comforter & sheets
- 1/5
Horrible. Front desk lady was extremely rude and room was so dirty I'm not even sure the sheets are changed it was stained with makeup and burn holes. Outside It was extremely loud lots of parking lot activity also roaches in room..just horrible..
- 3/5
Good overall expience. It delivered basic accomodations for a low budget motel stay. It offered clean rooms and decent customer service.
- 4/5

Bring towels because they only give you 2 towels for 2 people every other day. There are roaches in the room. The door key lock only works 1/2 the time. Have to keep going to office for them to rescan the key. Homeless people stay across the street day and night. On weekends there is loud music, loud parties and people walking around parking lot till early morning and nothing gets done about it. We come to Florida about twice a year. Will not be staying at this hotel again.
- 5/5
Close to everything
- 2/5
Hotel needs some upgrades all around and loud music through out the night multiple times. Little to no room service or fresh towels.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and friendly staff. Nice welcome after being on the road for 17 hours! I would definitely stay here again just because of the staff. They were all friendly and accommodating to us.
- 1/5
There was no fire alarm. It was ripped out of the wall. The air filter was disgusting and they fail to mention the 50$ deposit until you get to the desk to check in. I'm still waiting on my deposit, hope I get it back.
- 5/5
Nice rooms. Cleaned daily. Staff was friendly. Check in and out was super easy. Would recommend.
- 1/5
There deposit refunded is up for questioning.
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
There was a lot of noise from the street out front while outside. Bass from passer byers radio systems and alot of activity at the Whataburger (It is a college town and it was a Saturday night). However in the room we didn't notice it at all. We had a king size room with a 32 inch flat screen tv. Basic room. Small desk with a chair, mini fridge, microwave, area to hang clothes, huge vanity with double sinks and a private bath area with toilet. Plenty of towels and rags. There was only 3 pillows on the bed (If you like pillows, bring a few wof your own). Sheets were clean and the bed wasn't bad at all.
- 3/5
It was ok
- 1/5
That hotel is very awfaul. The sheets was dirty with an horrible cigarette smell. I don't recommend this hotel at all.
- 5/5
I didn't have any problem at all the staff was excellent
- 1/5
I think it sucked they would not let me go in or get the room because I have my ID I didn't have the right proper ID I've called your several several several times y'all will not call me back I want you to call me back I need my money ASAP call me at 615-934-1351 ASAP
- 3/5
Room smelled like smoked and the sheets had cigarette holes and stains on them. Also, on their booking site it doesn’t mention a $50 hold for incidentals. I think that was just ridiculous for 1 or 2 star motel!
- 3/5
Older hotel in need of upgrade. Needed to sleep during the day and area and other guests very loud.
- 4/5
The hotel shows in Expedia as they provide breakfast and they do not. The front desk guy told me thsat expedia was ibformed about that, so it might ve that exoedia has not update the infirmation, but other than tgst everything was fine
- 3/5
Needed repairs in the room plaster coming off lower parts of the wall down to the base boards as they were coming off the wall as well.
- 1/5
Do not let them put you in Room 141 which is the last room in the front of the hotel. The sink doesn't work properly. The pipes under the sink leaks water. The fridge leaks water and makes a funny sounds all night. The General Manager would not let the hotel clerk change my room. If it was not so late I would have left to find a new hotel.
- 5/5
Great place to stay while visiting daughter at FSU.
- 4/5
The towels rugs could be cleaner. The decor could be better the phones could be clean my had some black stuff on when i was going to use it for a wake call. Found bugs in tub. Before I took a shower. The toliet had a big crack in it. Luckily no water leak when flushed.
- 3/5
Nice and clean but the decor could’ve been better
- 4/5
Everything was what we expected, clean, good bed, near interstate and many restaurants near by
- 1/5
It was obvious the extent of drugs & sex trafficking at this location. I stay with Econo Lodge’s regularly, lat least 2x a month. This is no reflection on corporate, this is a reflection on management.
