    While the breakfast was good and the staff were very kind, the room itself was disappointing. The bathroom fixtures were rusty, the carpet felt damp, and my husband even found a bug on the bed. We stayed for four nights, but housekeeping only cleaned our room once—even though we never put up the 'Do Not Disturb' sign. I chose this hotel because I had a great experience here five years ago, but it feels like the property hasn't been well-maintained since then.

    The room was pretty bad it smelled like wet dog and I had to get candles and room freshener spray because it was bad. The bathroom was not very clean. The room was damp and musty. The actual hotel was also pretty damp and musty. I was in town for a graduation and really had to move in and out which is why I didn’t just complain and move but I know I won’t be staying here again. The front desk was always elsewhere also which was weird. Never made it to breakfast but I couldn’t imagine eating from there anyway.

    Staff was very friendly and courteous. They truly make this hotels stars. Aside of that the hotel is pretty rundown, room smelled funny, the carpet felt gross and bathroom was dirty with cracked mirror. Both of my sons got sick breathing the air in the room. Possibly mold not sure. Breakfast was decent nothing wow. As far as location is central many restaurants and shopping near by. The hotel definitely needs some upgrading and TLC.

    Hotel that’s clearly going through a transition. Used to be a La Quinta and has been somewhat renovated. Staff were all lovely. Main gripe is the cleanliness. There were suspect stains on the bathroom door frame, mildew on the sink faucet, cracked tile in the shower, and an overall musty “wet dog” smell in the room.

    First room I was given did not even have a clean shower. There was dirt and hair in. It asked the staff to get another room. They gave me a key to another room very un enthusiastic or apologetic and that room reeked like it had five dogs in there right before. Ended up just returning the Key checking out spending $20 more to go to the Marriott next-door that was 100 times cleaner and way more high-quality.     Very dirty hotel, there was mold, bugs on the bed and alot of stains. Dry blood stains on the pillowcase. I should have known as soon as i noticed the chair in the office had deep wet stains from who knows what. Whats upsetting is that i wont be getting a refund neither after walking in then straight back out. STAY AWAY!

    I asked for a room suitable for handicap access when i booked on line but got a room with a bath tub that you had to climb in with no grab bar. A terrible fall risk for someone who is cane dependent for stability. The sink still had cleaner all over the facet & hot & cold handles from not being rinsed off after. scrubbing. The sink also did not drain well.

    It looks like the hotel has been somewhat been renovated but there are aspects that are still unfinished. The lamps and hinges have rust on them, the paint needs touched up, and the doorframe paint is chipped.

    Anna stated she had attempted to contact Expedia multiple times and claimed the calls were unsuccessful. This representation was contradicted when I personally contacted Expedia and reached a representative within one minute. Expedia confirmed unequivocally that payment had been successfully processed and transmitted to the hotel. Despite this, Anna refused to accept the confirmation and declined to check us in. The situation was further exacerbated by unprofessional and inappropriate conduct. Anna repeatedly placed Expedia representatives on hold, provided incorrect hotel identification information, and engaged in a loud and confrontational exchange in the presence of multiple guests, including families with children. At one point, she stated she was “getting pissed off,” which is wholly unacceptable in a customer-facing role. Her inability to provide accurate operational information and her conduct directly prevented resolution. As a result of your staff’s actions, we were denied accommodations after more than an hour of attempting to resolve an issue that was not of our making. This constitutes a failure to honor a confirmed, prepaid reservation and reflects a breakdown in both operational competence and customer service standards. Horrible hotel.

    The rooms were clean and in good condition and the beds were comfortable, but there wasn't enough hot water and the maids had forgotten a dirty washcloth from a previous guest. The hotel also looks like it is under repair or some sort of construction with the walls not finished painting and the pool being under construction as well.

    The paint on the door frame was chipped, there was one coat hanger, paint in the bathroom walls and ceiling is chipped, paint on the bathroom mirror is chipped, the finish on the vanity is chipped, there is nowhere to hang wet towels and breakfast was just OK. You can here the people in the adjacent room.

    The lobby is deceptive - looks very nice but the rest of the property is dirty and decrepit. We were originally given a room that had mold on the curtains, stains all over the mattress, a wet/sticky substance all over the bathroom floor, and the filter on the ac was totally filthy. It also smelt of mold and must. After complaining and threatening to leave all together I was given another room (not an upgrade as you’d think someone who was so unhappy would have gotten) that was at least decent enough to sleep in but there were moldy looking spots in the shower and the side of one of the mattresses was very stained. They had open paint buckets in the hallways as well as drying fans that ran the entire time my family was there. The pool was tarped off and we received no rate reduction for that. Also the complementary breakfast left much to be desired.

    This was possibly the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever been in. An overflowing trash can was the first thing I saw when I stepped off the elevator. The paint in the hallways is chipping. The floor boards in the room were stained with I don’t know what. And the room itself smelled like urine. My husband and I turned right around after stepping foot in our room and checked out.

    The rooms are not quiet from the neighbors. I can hear people talking in rooms next to me. And my neighbor upstairs had multiple kids running around and a screaming baby at 2am. Overall room was clean enough. The shampoo bottle looked used, I did not touch it. I will not be staying here again.

    We had 2 rooms booked but they gave us one initially and called it a day. We had to show them our Expedia reservation and then they said “oh yes you have 2 rooms” We got to the rooms and they were still cleaning it at 3.30 pm (checkin is at 3 pm). So we went down and told them we need a room. They changed our rooms again. Finally we had a room by 4 (all of this took 1 hour) The breakfast at this hotel is never ever stocked. If we ask for eggs and when they will be stocked again, the staff responds in a manner that we asked for their life. Will not stay here again.

    We got there at 4am and asked for a late check out. Gentleman at the desk was sweet and said we had till noon. And at 11am housekeeping is knocking at the door. The faucet in the bathroom had mo the of toothpaste spit from recent guests and the tub was clearly dirty. Everything else seemed clean and the beds and pillows were comfy

    I asked for a quiet room (as I’m a light sleeper). I was placed in room 305 with direct view of the road coming into the hotel and the nearby highway. I wanted to like it yet every area was half-ass. They are in the middle of renovations!

    Great price, kind staff. Great breakfast. The hotel is under renovation, so the bathroom was very old. Also, a cheaper price came up when we checked in but the hotel said they could not honor it as the system would not allow them to change the third party booking. Disappointed about that.

    The hotel room was large and comfortable with a pleasant smell. The overall atmosphere was nice. Location was nice with close access to Dunkin and EV charging and the highway, Chili’s, Kobe and se real other places. Staff was friendly. The breakfast was very appetizing. The shower had a mat on the tub bottom that water pooled up under and it smelled like stagnant water when we showered

    I am so disappointed with my stay at Comfort Inn on the 16th.While the front desk staff were friendly and professional, I encountered significant issues with the room's cleanliness. The first room I was assigned had unmade beds and a disheveled comforter, suggesting it hadn't been properly cleaned after the previous guest. and the second room presented the same issue. It was only after a third request that I received a clean and properly prepared room. This experience was very inconvenient and did not meet my expectations for Comfort Inn.

    When we walked into our room there was something wet/sticky on the tile. I wiped it up and the towel was filthy. Looking closer the room was filthy, hadnt been moped in awhile, crumbs all over the floor and hair in the bathroom. The staff was apologetic and gave us a different room. The second room was better but still not clean with crumbs and dead bugs under the couch cushions. The TV only had a few local stations which didnt make my kiddos happy as there was no acess to Netflix or anything. I should have expected as much for the price of the room.

    Looked alright from the reviews but they must be fake. Worn down not clean and needs a good amount of love. The outside is fresh and remodeled. The inside is a different story as it’s getting reworked by a Jewish carpenter and his Hispanics. Inside needs 5-15 million facelift. Worked if you need a place to sleep at 11 pm at night on your way through of town and that’s about it.

    The staff is friendly and the location is good, however, there was a mold like substance growing on the mirror in the bathroom, water marks below the sink and orange/yellow marks on the bottom of the bath tub. Doesn’t look like the place has had a good cleaning in a long time. Won’t be back.

    Paid over $300 for 2 nights because there was a pool. Pool was closed the rooms weren’t clean, smelt like a smoking room even though i booked a non smoking room and the bedsheets were damp the first night i stayed. The ice machine was not working. On top of that there was a heavy pet fee that i wasn’t aware of until i got to check in.

    This property was disgusting. Trash was everywhere cigarette butts food containers they allowed transient people to live or hang out at the back pool area at all Hours of the night. I cannot tell you how much trash was in the surrounding woods and parking lot it was absolutely horrible and unbelievably disgusting

    The location of this property was great! However, their amenities are pathetic. Upon arrival, we went into the bathroom to wash our hands only to discover that there was even a soap available. If & when you need an amenity, you basically have to ask for it one by one. It's not automatic like most hotels. Also, their free bagged breakfast is a Big Joke!!

    Beautiful area. Comfortable foam top beds. Staff was friendly, courteous, and exceptional for our needs. Hotel and staff were careful and hotel was clean during our stay, which was during the Covid era. I like the Tampa area, and would definitely stay at this hotel again. Also, good value for the price. They served a small breakfast every morning, that we picked up at the front desk.

    The staff were friendly and accommodating during my stay and the hotel was generally quiet (though if you get loud neighbors, you can definitely hear them quite clearly). The common areas were in great condition. My room, however, had mold in the bathroom above the shower and the bathroom fixtures were rusted. I don't know if this was unique to my room, however.

    It wasnt terrible but it was disappointing. The room and bed were pretty damp, so it just made me feel gross during the stay. The AC didnt seem to work very well. A few spots in the bathroom could have been cleaner (like the faucet at the sink) and the shower curtain could have been newer, it wasnt gross, but you could tell it was "used" condition. Would have asked for a room change but we were only there for 2 nights and really only used it for sleeping, we were out during most of the day. Staff was nice though.

    This hotel stated it was dog friendly. They put us on bottom floor behind the front desk and as soon as we left to meet friends which was 20 mins away, they called me an hour later to tell me my dog was barking alot and someone complained. The hotel “manager” left me a voicemail telling me to control my puppy. There was no one in the hotel at the time. I had to come back and tend to the dog. I got her settled n calm n left and by 6 and by 730pm they called me to say someone was complaining. Again no one was in the hotel at the time besides the people at the front desk. We never go away, it was my bday week so we decided to do something fun but couldnt. The hotel was not the cleanest to my standards. I have no problem staying in a hotel but the floors were filthy and there was hair all over the clean towels which is disgusting. Although the people at the front desk were nice, I would not go back to this hotel. They are really not dog friendly. What do you expect when you have guests bring dogs to an unknown environment. Of course they are going to bark.

    I stayed one night on 6-9-20. My daughter and I picked up a couple burgers from nearby and we needed to heat them up a bit. We found a styrofoam plate with MOLDY chicken in the microwave! Needless to say it stunk to high heaven!! I placed out in hallway next to our door. the next morning there was a new roll of toilet paper and the moldy chicken! As we were leaving the hotel to start our trip, I took this plate to the front desk. The clerk was nice enough he just asked that I throw it away. Given his "I don't care attitude" I doubt very much management was told. Now I do not want to get the housekeeper in trouble, but that was a pretty nasty thing to find.

    We found ROACHES in our bathroom, pregnant roaches. We told the front desk, and was told they would handle it. They offered us 50% back for that night stay, and told them I wanted a full refund. They said I would have to talk to the manager who seems to never be in his hotel, in other words, I was given the brush off. BAD CUSTUMER service. I won't be going back to LaQuinta ROACH infested Hotels again.

    Checking in was very swift and easy. When I got settled into my room I woke up to it being too hot and the thermostat not working. I went down to eat breakfast and let the staff know right after. They told me they’ll get someone to fix it. A few hours go by as I’m getting ready in my room and the temperature increases to 80 degrees on its own. I let the staff know. I was told I’d have to be out of the room for them to fix it. I left the room and called back around 12 and they were still working on the thermostat. I told them I would just like to check out but I wouldn’t be back until 4-5pm. They told me it was fine

    They canceled our expedia reservation and never called. They said there was an issue with our card, which there wasnt. Theymn tried to charge us $280 for 1 night when online it is $129. His manager finally said $150 which we jumped at. When we got to our room the carpet was soaking wet from a leek and the room smelled. We had to change rooms. The room was okay but the exhaust fan in the bathroom didnt work.

    They need more areas to walk dogs. We stayed 3 nights and the doggie trash and bags were never emptied. Plus there was an area of water near the hotel with sign dont feed wildlife lol. My husband also saw a snake while walking dogs and i saw a raccoon. Over hotel nice but location could be better. The parking was limited too and they share a lot with enterprise car rental so they take up at least 5 spaces.

She was very friendly and helpful to us. Check-in was excellent. Her customer service skills are wonderful - and one of the reasons why we will be back whenever we visit the Tampa area!     Overall, we liked this facility. Room was clean and pillow-top bed was comfy, breakfast was great with eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, etc. Staff was friendly and competent. There were some negatives, however. We were in Room 115, and the bathroom fan didn't work, which can be a problem in a small space. The dog-walking area is small, filled with tree roots, and runs along a swampy, wooded area and in between lines of rental vehicles. It didn't feel very safe, particularly in the evening.

    The very first room we were given a roach was seen as soon as we opened the door and another was on the ceiling... I immediately said nope and went back down to get a room change .. The new room was much better. Only downside is although the rooms were non smoking there was a strong smell of cigarettes in the bath room coming from the vent , it was horrible we had to keep the bathroom door closed when we werent using it ... Other than that the beds were comfy and breakfast was average.

    I have been here a few times. The place is nice, quiet. No traffic noise, even though near to the main road, Bruce B downs blvd.

    The WiFi was very inconsistent, had to contact the front desk many times. I was surprised that there were no towel bars in the bathrooms and signage about not changing towels everyday.

    The room was ok, the bathroom has rust in the tub and the hot water didn’t work properly would give 2 minutes of hot water and then get very cold for 10 minutes and then get hot again for 2 minutes and repeats the cycle.

    For the money it was good, but not the best. Spilled a little water on carpet and when I wiped it up the towel was dirtyfrom the carpet. Locks on doors were very hard to work. Good for a one night stay
