We did not stay, it did smell moldy and it was very dirty. I wouldn’t recommend it

They really need to cl3an the room and the bath tub was gross will never stay there again. And I would never recommend it to anyone.

The only negative that I found was that, while there was a mini-kitchen area, with small fridge and microwave, there was no access to any sort of items to use the microwave. Not even a paper towel to place something on while heating it. A paper plate and set of plastic utensils would have made all the difference. With this in mind, there is a small mini-mart across the parking lot, with some basic microwavable food. Overall, I absolutely recommend this property.

So far the worst place I’ve stayed, room was full of roaches, and bed had bed bugs. The restrooms were dirty, and the door handle was broken to the entrance so we couldn’t get out until we used pliers to twist the door handle.

Could have used a comforter on the bed.Everything worked as it should. I would stay there again.

The industrial area it is located by which resulted in polluted air. Also the refrigerator in the room was very loud.

Stayed with my spouse for a quick weekend visit. Clean room and smooth check-in experience.

We stopped here on our way to Galveston Island and it worked out perfectly. Quick check-in and plenty of parking.

The hotel room was disgusting. The bed spread had holes in it there were roaches crawling everywhere and the shower was very dirty.

The bedding was dirty had hair and other debris in the sheets, so we went to the store and bought new for the beds, also seen a few cockroaches. It was nice to have a place to cook. Looked like they were trying to fix the place up and was quiet.

Everything was fine

Never got to the room, I called in Oct to request that I could stay on the same side of the hotel that I had last year. The staff said no problem,but when I arrived the rude staff wanted to put me on the other side with no parking. I have a full sized truck and trailer with a motorcycle. I want to be close Incase of problems not across the hotel. I left and got a room at THE RED ROOF INN with parking next to my room. I couldn't rate the stay any lower than one star RUDE STAFF

No pets allowed and the toilet wasn’t clean and the microwave was old and the sink wasn’t clean. The door handle came off my husband had to put a screw that he found in our truck.

Room was inhabitable and hasn’t been clean in what looks like months. Tub was filthy. We checked in and right back out and moved to another hotel that was suitable for living.

The smell in the room

Horrible part of town, room was tiny and very outdated. I will not stay here again. Roaches in the bathroom. Read above, lots of things were terrible. Not safe going outside.

The only thing out of this nasty disgusting motel was we were only staying there for a short time to get up in the morning to get to our boat in Galveston other than that I cannot say nothing good do not stay here whatsoever. OMG .. where do I start. footprints all over the floor so I had to get a towel and by the time I went through the main walking areas the towel was black I'm talking black We found a razor blade where the toilet roll should have been that my 3-year-old grandson found hair in the tub and when I mean hair lots of hair beds were semi-comfortable the location because we were getting on a cruise was okay but when I complained or said something they just acted like I'm so sorry but not sorry we're not going to move you to another room or compensate us. I would never recommend this motel and I'm ashamed of booking.com for even having these people on their list for places to stay. Oh and let's not forget the toilet piss that was all around the base of the toilet.

Only could take a shower because the pull up and down part would not move so had to take a shower. And they had small roaches in the rubber part of the fridge and under microwave. They need to really get an exterminater to get rid of them

Toilet was very dirty, hair all over the toilet, sink and bathtub. Bathtub looked like someone had been murdered in it. All bedding had burn holes. Hair between comforters and sheets. Old food crumbs on counters, fridge had spilled liquid in it

We stayed at this hotel a couple years ago and it was pretty basic but clean. This stay, the room was ok looking but there were roaches in the microwave and then on the floor in the bathroom.

Well we went and spent the day in Galveston come back home and they locked us out the motel room the bathroom was leaking and that was the second room that they put us in would not let suggest anybody to stay in this motel

They had some of the cheapest prices for rooms which is what i wanted....this also meant expectations were low. I didnt get the hotel to stay in it longer than needed. Its in a city on The Gulf; theres fun to be had.......not to lounge in a hotel

The Room was very clean. The management was excellent.

The door nob came off there was a durty washcloths in the shower the fridge was leaking got water everywhere and was giving towels to put down to stop the water

No mats in the bathroom, coffee maker doesn’t work, no cups to use microwave, phone doesn’t work, Smoker room was given for a non smoker like me, bedsheets were smelling horrible. They changed after complaining

It was cheap i suppose which is only good factor, but saw 2 bugs around desk area near fridge or microwave. And the doors dont have a proper seal i dont believe.. but other than that ig it was alright. Its a place to stay

Where do i start. If your looking for an adventure that looks like a crime scene happened this would be your place. If your ok with showering and having what appears to dirt all over tub this would be your place. When you use the toilet and see a used black and mild leftover in tbe toilet holder, you than wonder at that point was the affordability really worth it.

Roaches everywhere, crawled on me at night. Room was dirty, trash from previous people was left and there was no toilet paper.

The check in was fast. The first night was very uncomfortable because the bed was like sleeping on plywood and the pillows were very flat we woke up with neck pain. We had to go to Ross to buy pillows. Then wake to go to the restroom and drink water open the fridge I saw several roaches inside the mini fridge and under the sink. I saw dead crickets by door. Torn shower curtain, faucet needs to be replaced. The iron was gone. The floor needed to be sweep and mop I took off my shoes and walk barefoot to take a shower and I felt the the dirty floor. I had to use a towel to wipe my feet before getting on the bed after my shower. Gross I go on vacation 3 times a year room and this place is my worst stay.

Nothing good about this stay. We checked in and went and looked at the room and noticed bed bugs. I except a full refund.

First of all the room was dirty. There were roaches everywhere including inside the refrigerator. The smoke detector was missing. Appears to be mold on the bathroom door. Floors were filthy. The dresser drawers had trash in them. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. We will never stay there again.

There was bedbugs and not cleaned at all. Showed the manager the bedbugs and he just didn't care. We left and would only refund 2 days. Nasty please

There was trash and homeless people around the property there was bags over the smoke detectors roaches in the bathrooms beds were very uncomfortable and sheets were filthy.

I walked in and immediately was thrown off by the vide of the room, it smelled weird the atmosphere is not exactly what I was expecting but to be cheaper I shouldn’t of had standards in mind

Dirty linens

I know the price was ok but the condition of this property was horrendous. It’s so old, everything looked rusted, so much of the grout in the room was just caked on dirt. Unnecessary cables just hanging down from behind the tv and not plugged into anything. I was there 5 nights and the cleaning crew didn’t come by one time. Never saw them on property. Stay away.

The room did provide what we need AC and electricity. However i left a cup on the night stand and found a roach inside.

While the front desk staff was polite, the establishment itself left much to be desired. The room had be cleaned but was not clean. Theres a lingering mildew scent. The parling lot was ilalos in poor condition.

Room was dirty and you could tell they don’t take care of the property. In the bathroom the shower had mold in the shower head and there was soap that was used from the last persons stay. Also when we arrived we witness prostitution happening in a room above us. The people who run the facility could careless about what happens on the grounds and have no desire to improve

We visited Galveston after traveling from McKinney, Texas, but we reached our destination at 3 a.m. Despite booking a hotel room for the same day, we were asked to pay an additional fee of $70 for early check-in. As I had never encountered this issue before at any motel or hotel, I was unable to pay the fee, and we had to sleep in our car. However, checking in at 3 p.m. was quick and easy, but upon entering our room, we found a dead roach near the toilet and an unflushed toilet, indicating a lack of cleanliness. Additionally, when I opened the fridge, a roach crawled out. Due to the hotel's location and the suspicious individuals surrounding it at night, particularly at the nearby gas station, I would advise against bringing children here. The overall experience was disgusting.

Ok look, the hotel rooms were clean functional and we have no complaints about the rooms, the price or the staff. The are around the hotel is definitely a working class neighborhood with some individuals struggling through life and doing their best to survive. The hotel had a nice little grill we used to have a family picnic and a grassy area that our kids through the football in. It was better than expected and for the cost it was worth it. It’s perfect for sleeping and showering.

The check in was the worst customer service ever the worker at the front desk was not helpful at all. I booked 2 rooms and he acted like i was so dumb and like my reservations did not exist. The room was dirty and had roaches in the room. One of the rooms the refrigerator did not work. Worst place to stay ever.

Everyone that worked here that we met were very nice, professional, and helpful. The rooms were clean and the linen crisp. Beds were very comfortable. Would stay again.

Room was dirty spiders and roaches everywhere

And the only good thing about the property was there's a corner store right next door to it that's the best thing I can say about it. There was people that knocked at our door that we didn't even know looking for drugs the air conditioner didn't work I was sweating all night the staff didn't care they wouldn't give us another room and the room was very very very small look nothing like the picture on Expedia I was scared to walk to my car because of the neighborhood and the surrounding area will never stay here again and the bed was dirty there was cigarette butts on the floor by the TV in my room so that tells me they don't sweep her and mop or anything It was disgusting

The room was covered with live and dead roaches. The bathroom tile grout was covered with mildew. However, the young man at the front desk was as helpful as he could be and allowed me to inspect another room before being moved. The replacement room was better but I later saw there were foil wrappers and salsa containers on the floor near the night stand. An exterminator and thorough cleaning is needed.

My first complaint was the door lock was broken, but it was repaired with minutes. The hot water in the sink was completely shut off. There was no toilet tissue in the restroom and the room had a few roaches. I booked a room for a King bed but got a Queen bed.

Horrible. I asked for a non smoking room. I was checked into room in the 100s first, it smelled like someone had just lit a cigarette in the room. So I asked for another room. The second room they checked me in was full of roaches and had not been cleaned. I advised the staff but on one did anything.

The room’s door latch was broken off and the smoke detector was removed from the wall, probably months ago judging by the dust. Entire room was filthy and furniture was falling apart. The walls were paper thin and the surrounding area is sketchy. Left a day early.

It was decent no complaints. Quite & no one bothered us.

Definitely heard gunshots close by. People with loud music hanging out in the parking lot all night. Lots of people coming and going and slamming of doors.

Not COVID compliant, not safe, not clean

Door's safety latch was missing! I reported this but it was not fixed the next day. Deadbolt didn't work either. And I saw a roach.

Lost power for 3 days, so this place allowed me to work. The wifi is better than I have at home, and I was VERY impressed by the size of the fridge in the room. I was able to store quite a lot of the food from home, so it wouldn't spoil. The only thing I didn't like was how dirty the floor was. They don't have carpet, and they clearly never mop the floor. At least they had a special rate, since there is no way the place is worth $75 a night. $54 was much more reasonable for a no-frills motel.
