Lovely location near downtown. Only downside is the hopping bar across the street. But we stayed on a Saturday so it's to be expected. Loud bar across the street

Eclectic, staff was super friendly and that alone would make us stay at Lafayette again. We loved everything about the property. I think if people have never been or stayed along Revolution blvd, they may not like the noise all night long. We are use to it and don’t mind it. Our room had a noise diffuser and it helped.,

It was a delightful surprise on the busy street with a wonderful style and decor. We loved our stay. The parking lot was close by and the staff was very friendly. We will be back.

The hotel is nice, excellent service, clean room the only problem is the loud sound of the music all night long from the clubs. The food a the restaurant was good too.
- 2/5
The hotel itself looks nice, but unfortunately it's connected to a club that doesn't close until 6am so you won't sleep either. The hotel does provide noise machines but they turn off automatically after 1 hour so it doesn't help.

The staff was nice and the decor of the hotel was nice

Bathroom is clean but small and cramped. The antique novelty theme of the room seems like an excuse to neglect upkeep to many areas of the room. After wiping up some spilt light beer on an area rug, the towel turned dark brown from all the dirt it soaked from the rug and was charged $20 for it.

Conveniently located with great restaurants and shops. Shout out to Drago restaurant!! The only down side was the parking off site. Valet parking would have been preferable. Overall, would return to the hotel.

Dirty hotel, towels with holes in them, no parking, no breakfast, small shower. Just not a good experience. Very weird. I would never ever stay here again. The bed was incredibly loud like wake you up in the middle of the night when you roll over loud.

Our stay at Hotel Lafayette was nothing short of magical. This boutique hotel is truly one-of-a-kind — every detail, from the vintage décor to the vibrant art, is a love letter to Mexico’s golden days. Each room has its own personality and story to tell, filled with nostalgic touches that make you feel like you’ve stepped into another era. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave in the mornings, and the thoughtful touch of little gas candies left in the room made us smile. The staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We felt completely safe walking around the neighborhood, with shops and restaurants just a short stroll away. Everything about this place invites you to slow down, soak in the atmosphere, and enjoy the charm of Tijuana. Highly recommended — we would love to stay here again!

They get lots of the little details right. The staff helped me call an Uber and carried my suitcase. The rooms are individually decorated. Beds are super comfy. I wish the shades were a bit darker, but that's such a minor thing in the whole scheme of things. I will be back!

When we go to Tj we always love to stay at Lafayette!! Location is great, service is awesome

Cool, cute & very nice place. Just need major improvement with the shower & sink water pressures.
- 5/5
It’s extremely loud downstairs it echos all the way to the rooms
- 4/5
Good central location, staff was incredible. The decor was different and well done. The rooms are smaller than they look, the bed was too low to the floor for my liking. Again, the staff was great.
- 4/5
The property has a great vibe with stylish decor and a fantastic location. The staff is incredibly friendly and goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. However, the bathroom space is quite limited and could be improved. Also, the neighborhood is very noisy—though to be fair, the hotel does its best to minimize the impact and keep things comfortable. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few areas for improvement.

Love the hotel, right there in the Main Street at Revolucion ave, a lot of bars and restaurants around, we went to Jazz club around the corner. Love the room and the staff.
- 3/5
Yeah, cute room but not good option if you want to sleep. Noise all around and what’s worst there’s a bright light glare coming through right at eye level (don’t stay in room 1). What was I thinking?!?
- 5/5
The place was great. Cute, quaint little place in the middle of the busiest street. Bed was comfortable. The decor was great.

If you are out for a night or weekend, this walking distance to excellent restaurants, bars. etc. The room was recently renovated, stylish, with heat, AC, windows that open, cozy bed, and solicitous staff. It seemed very secure and was surprisingly quiet given its location. There isn't on-site parking, but there are reasonably priced garages with security that are open 24/7. It doesn't have a pool or some of the other amenities you'll find at hotels a bit further out in Zona Rio etc., but it is also very walkable with easy access to the SENTRI lanes at the border and about half the price of some of the bigger hotels with all of the things. Overall, an excellent choice for couples or solo travelers.

All is always amazing I go to Tijuana often and this is the hotel I always choose the staff wow 10/10

First time staying in Tijuana and this place was ideal! Not only is it right in the center of everything to walk, but it was super cute, and the staff was very friendly. The parking was also excellent and a direct shot to the border line. We will stay here again for sure.

Really friendly and accommodating staff. Awesome bar. Centrally located.

great place to stay.
- 4/5
It's a lovely boutique hotel. My main issue was noise. The walls are thin, and room entry doors are soft-core, so when guests in neighboring rooms had their TV/music on or slammed their doors shut, you could hear it very clearly. I would still consider staying at this hotel again, given its central location, style, and competitive rates for what you get.
- 3/5
Good stay for the night.
- 5/5
This place is great, if you are looking for something different than your average cookie cutter hotel room! Very eclectic room decor and each room is decorated differently. You can’t beat the location, if you are wanting to visit Av. Revolución. I can’t wait to stay again!

Will most definitely stay with them again, SOON! If you stay, try the restaurant! The chef is from Rosarito via the word! Parking is off site so get directions before you come. El Centro can be busy with traffic, so know your directions before hand! 06-01-24

Friendly staff and unique decor.
- 4/5
The stay was really nice at this place. The place is located in a very central place. The room was fantastic and the staff was very friendly. The only issues I had a believe me they are small: the towels were not very nice and they lock the doors all day and night, so there were times we were waiting outside for someone to let us into the building.
- 5/5
First time staying and we really liked it

The wine selection at the bar can improve, it is severely overpriced and not fresh if you order by the glass. Their wines selection is eclectic but not good for the price their are charging.

We love this hotel and will be coming back. The location is perfect, the interior of the hotel is unique and beautiful, it's comfortable and very reasonably priced. The service was fantastic. We could not be happier!

Everything was great. Most importantly we feel very much safe.

They had an all-evening RAVE concert on the roof above us without any warning. Our room was just below it. They charged us an outrageous hotel fee plus they collected admission fees from the Rave. This 50 year old building has no insulation or sound protection. The decor is nothing more that lipstick on a pig. Our complaints went ignored. Avoid this place.
- 3/5
The bed was not comfortable at all. Literally I think a motel 6 has more amenities. Overall is a "meh" hotel if you are into the "hipster" vibe. Smells kinda funny, i think was some sort of incense but not nice to be honest. 2.5 out of 5 stars for me
- 5/5
All the team members were so helpful and friendly and knew us by name by the end of our stay! Would definitely stay again :)

I’ve been coming here for a year… They are inconsistent checking in. The staff asked for $100 usd cash for a deposit. I’ve never had to deal with that before here. I didn’t like them taking photos of my credit card. Unfortunately it’s probably the last time I stay here. The old staff was always accommodating. In addition a fight broke out at the bar… it’s time to find a new hotel for my stays.

For what it was should of been 60 no more smallest room ive ever paid for over 100 dolares
- 4/5
The property has a very unique and interesting design and decor. Overnight it was suprisingly quiet for a Revoluccion location. I only interacted with 2 hotel employees during my stay (on check in and check out). One was very friendly and welcoming, the other was not. I don't know what the overall pattern is in this regard, but I hope the unfriendly employee was just having a bad day or something.
- 5/5
The only down side is that there is no parking.
- 2/5
There is no parking and it is way too over priced for what it is.
- 5/5
Very clean, service, amenities, location. One of the best in the city.
- 3/5
The room for the price is not right. Very small the bathroom is tiny and there is no mini fridge or phone. The tv is not in front of you it’s in the corner so be easy to have a sore neck. The noise is ok if your going to be partying. But if your not, it’s noisy. The worst and I mean the worst part of this hotel is that they do not have parking. So be ready to stress out about your car and safety during your stay. I had to leave it at a local parking a garage for 3 days and oh boy I was stressed out. Hence I will never stay here again. Also no pool or any amenities. It’s honestly expensive for all of these negatives. But it is artistic I’ll give it that.
- 5/5
A design hotel with nice spaces and very attentive and friendly staff. Small rooms very comfortable, clean and well distributed.

I got charged and never even stayed here! They refused to give me money back.. I had to call the Credit Card company to cancel payment! NEVER AGAIN WITH THIS COMPANY!
