they have 2 elevators and only one was working. 2 days later both elevators were broken, we had to use the utility elevator. The rooms are outdated, the floor is broken. It needs better facilities attention and maintenance.

I booked a top-class room and paid for it, but when we were going to check in, the staff moved us to a different floor and the hotel charged us for breakfast. I even told them we already paid for our booking. I can upload a picture of the booking that clearly says breakfast is included. ground staff was nice and helpful, butthe front They overcharged me, the toilet was not flushing, and I made multiple complaints about it. they come and fix it but next use do the same issue. noone offered us room change. breakfast was included but still they charge for it. no one try to accomodate or listen to issues i raised with front desk. CHECK IN LADY was SUPER RUDE and she start talking in spanish to other staff members think we dnt understand it. now days apps with headphone tells everything

Internet was not working the entire 5 night stay. On Saturday the main lobby halls was packed with soccer fanatics which made coming and going an issue. No one came to clean the room/ change blankets. They charge for water bottles.

It was easy to find and was very modern and cozy. The elevators are a tad small but nothing major.

parking should be included. Rooms are small for the price. Check in while. I had to go back in line to get the key, the room was not ready by the time I was told. If you want to get drinks by the pool you need to go get them yourself.

I think the hotel needs some remodeling, including the hallways and furnishings. The service was excellent. One very important thing: I used a taxi service (recommended by the valet parking staff) and the charge was exaggerated. I paid it out of courtesy, but I wouldn't use it again. After that, I used Uber.

I saw a worker pick up a slice of bread and place it back in the tray of bread when they were taking all the food back to the kitchen. I was also running in the treadmill in the gym while some workers were working on an AC unit above my head which seemed a bit dangerous. The front desk people were very kind as well as the waitress.

The warmth of the lobby and staff. A comfortable clean room. The jacuzzi was ok but small Sorry but food and beverages were overpriced. Bright spots were the orange juice. I don't mind paying for top quality. They used to be the best. Now they're just typical hotel food, actually a little worse but with the prices of top notch Faire. Very sad and disappointing. They couldn't handle the success. They were a truly fine culinary experience.

Por 190 dlls la noche nunca te imaginas llegar a una habitación en pésimas condiciones. El clima de la habitación permaneció prendido durante toda la noche en máxima velocidad y el cuarto nunca pudo enfriarse. Muebles muy viejos y sucios. Al momento de de bañarte la regadera estaba tan tapada que el agua no podía irse. El lobby del hotel muy bonito, y el personal muy amable. Lástima que no den el debido mantenimiento a las habitaciones.

Vale was very very nice I was told the they don’t have any running water but they ushered me that they would have it up by 9pm at 10 pm I was told that they had no time frame when, I arrived a 4pm and I waited until 10pm for them to call me but they never bid, I had to call them, so I left and went somewhere else to spend the night.

Very friendly stuff, and a good hotel in general, but sone areas require a bit of renovation. The pool shower did not work, for example. The breakfast is good, especially its Mexican part, with tamales and chilaquiles and other stuff. The hotel is situated from a walkable distance frim the big Caliente Casino.

Todos son super amables, los únicos inconvenientes que tuvimos fue q a el momento de querer bañarme hoy 27/4/25 no habia agua en el cuarto y a el momento de llamar para preguntar porque no tenía agua en el cuarto me dijeron q estaban arreglando el problema asi q no pudimos bañarnos porque el agua regresó hasta las 11 y para entonces nosotros ya estábamos haciendo check out porque teníamos el compromiso ese mañana a las 9:30

The room was good size, the beds were beyond comfortable and everything worked! The buffet was as good as any buffet I've ever had. Great lobby. Wonderful service I used to enjoy the singer in the lobby. It was intimate. I guess too intimate. They removed that. Something that works that good I would never change. But who am I?

VIP service. This place is clean and very nice. Walking distance to a nice variety of local restaurants. My kids were impressed by the respect and service they received from the staff. We visit family in Tijuana often. I will pick this place every time.

Excellent service. Unfortunately, the floors were not thoroughly clean as I could tell by walking barefoot. In addition, our television had no signal and were unable to get it resolved. The hotel offered to provide us with a different room but as we were checking out the next morning we left it at that. We felt very secure and pampered otherwise. 👍

The location is very convenient, the room was very clean, and bed comfortable. The staff was very polite and friendly. The front office manager I believe could have done more with the issue I brought up to his attention. The room was very clean and spacious with a great view. Unfortunately it wasn't the room I had reserved two weeks prior. I had reserved a high level room with balcony, "Executive King Room with balcony". The room that I was given did not have a balcony. When I brought it up the front office manager "Miguel" stated that the room was unavailable because of high demand. He offered to change rooms the second night when a room with balcony would be available. He didn't offer an apology or any type of compensation even though I paid extra for the balcony. I turned down exchanging rooms because I did not want to settle in a room and then have to switch all my belongings the next day. I should have to. I didn't allow this to ruin my stay and all the other staff were amazing and very polite. I do feel that my reservation was not respected.

No heating in my room. Asked to move to another room, and did so but no heat in that room either. complained the next day and they did nothing to fix. They are cutting costs and are do so my cutting out the heating from HVAC. I travel to TJ every week and stay in other hotels for 10 years there. Marriott TJ always disappoints. Sullies the Marriott brand.

En general el staff es amable y atentos , en área de bar pedimos de comer , una pasta pomodoro y estaba muy buena y buena porcion , pedí también un aguachile y nada que ver , de entrada venía con como 5-6 camarones , a temperatura ambiente y no fríos , sabor muy incipido y caro para lo que es , la cerveza MUY cara una cerveza corona a 110 pesos , no 45 pesos no 60 pesos no 70 noooo más de 100 pesos por una cerveza MUY caro

It’s a 1980s hotel that is beginning to show its age. The pool area needs an urgent make up. Very conveniently located with easy parking and awesome valet parking service. Nice bar area. Pool area needs a good make up urgently.

TJ Marriott used to be one of my favorite hotels to stay at. The service has declined tremendously, specifically at the restaurant. The quality of food is not great, and service of waiters and managers is rude. We stayed two days, it took forever to get our food for lunch, not once did a manager come to the table. The manager was at the door laughing with staff. We also went to Sunday brunch, service was lacking. The dirty dishes just sat there, the waiter was nowhere to be found. Check-in staff and cleaning staff were great, they greet you with a smile and talk to you. The beds are very comfortable, and the hotel is in a great location. The pool is also heated which is nice. I hope their service improves, otherwise we won't return. It was a disappointing stay to say the least, I don't recommend it.

# 1 was on 1st floor with a view of an empty swimming pool not golf course # 2 the Ac didnt work. It took a worker and a manager who disagreed with me to switch me. This time I got to be on the 9th floor with an awesome view of the city. The pillows were so awesome and I got a suite which the bellhop that walked me up forgot to show me. The TV in both rooms of the suite only played Marriott commercials altho it said YouTube was free and my streaming channels were also supposed to work but none did. The Ac did work on the 9th floor room! What I absolutely hated about all 3 Rooms...I like to walk barefoot and all floors were grungy. I wore socks and they were so nasty they became garbage. 1 other thing is so many employees not really doing anything in the lobby, but u come in they practically grab your bag although I said no. Perhaps probably them trying to offer good customer service but it's the opposite. I would know after 25 years as server and bartender in Alaska on a skeleton crew the majority of the time. Marriott is like being in a car dealership that is run on commission only! It's a big turn off. Then you feel obligated to tip which I did and a good amount I may add but service is not the best honestly. I will not stay there again. Worst $200 I ever spent for a golf view. They tried to make it right only after I had to complain so much. Just not worth the hassle.

Great place to stay if you’re going to a soccer game at Estadio Caliente. You’re able to walk there and come back, feeling safe walking amongst others. There is staff at the door opening the door for you and watching you come in.

i have stayed here many times, mainly because the location. The property is comfortable but tired. it needs to be renovated. to make matters work, i was put in an interior, windowless room. the service is generally good, but it seems that every time i check in, the front desk staff is mostly trainees.

Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I HIGHLY recommend the ribeye tacos from the restaurant onsite!
