This experience was lovely, but the bad weather

The room was very comfortable The magnetic strip where you swipe your card to get in was broken so I had to wait several minutes a few times to get in. Also there were some roaches and the air conditioner was super loud and rattled so I couldn't run it for very long at a time.

I specifically asked for the first floor when I get here he puts me on the second floor. I asked him I asked for a first floor he said oh that’s the ground floor keep in mind there’s only two floors as long as I’ve been alive 56 years first floor starts with one second floor starts at 2/3 floor starts at three and so on and so on so he’s arguing back-and-forth with me that I asked for a first floor and I did first floor means the bottom now normally this wouldn’t bother me, but they were absolutely rude. Not to mention this hotel is a complete dive. They could have switched me to a first floor. Excuse me ground floor, but they didn’t feel like doing all. That is what it is. They blamed it on Booking.com if I was you, I would stay as far away from this fleabag motel as you can. Absolutely not one thing

Front desk was helpful and friendly. Stay was ruined due to over abundance of roaches in the room. Beyond disgusting. I slept in my car in the lot. Please advise your Expedia users to avoid this dump at all costs.

It was convenient in location, love the front desk attendant, and the shower is beautiful. The property needs a good pressure washer. Cause if I walk into another spiderweb I'm going to scream. They are everywhere.

Outside looked rough but inside was clean and nice

Now for some minor negatives. The room didn't have a real fresh smell. I couldn't decide if it was old urine, mildew or what, but it was noticeable. This surprised me because the room was immaculately clean, including the microwave & the refrigerator, that had a small freezer. If you wanted coffee you had to go to this area outside of the office, it was kind of like a breezeway & that's where you could get complimentary coffee. There were no Do Not Disturb signs for the doors. There were no boxes of Kleenex in the rooms. There were no complimentary toiletries in the rooms. But again, as I mentioned, this is a very economical place to stay. So make your decision based on that. It was well worth what we paid for it. There were no insects of any kind in the room (That's a positive I forgot).

The manager was amazing and very nice. She was training a guy on how to check people in, and not only was she patient with him, she let me know what she was doing. So waiting a few extra minutes was no problem! A lot of people in rooms near mine were smokers. I think there should be a designated smoking area. So when I open my door I'm not walking through a haze and stepping over cigarette butts.

We did not stay and we inquire with management how to get a refund. We never accepted a check-in.

Moved to room 109. I booked a double bed. It is a room that is meant to be a single bed room with 2 FULL size beds shoved in. Only 1 pillow per person and claimed they didn't have anymore. Towels are horrible and only dried half my body and the towel was soaked. Rooms had no iron or ironing board so we had to go to Walmart and buy them. The room smelled of cigarettes even though it's supposed to be non smoking. I would give this place a negative 100 if I could. DEFINITELY not worth $100 a night!! The beds are hard as a rock. The microwave had parts from a different microwave inside and the plate wouldn't spin. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and motels in a lot of places and this was the absolute worst one I've EVER stayed in. Can't wait to leave in the morning!!! Can't get out of this place fast enough!!!

The phone didn’t work there eas a domestic dispute going on in the early morning tried to call front desk phone had no dial tone. They were loud and i was scared my outlet to charge the phone had metal sticking out and I got shocked by it. The place was clean and modernized but I do feel the manager should reach out to me and adjust my stay based on what happened no sleep and video proof I hope they do if so they I would recommend because that means my safety is important to them if not do not go woll share videos

AC unit was nasty and loud also had smell come out for little while. Issues with key card on door to get in room. Bed sheets had stains on them. Brought in our own sheets to sleep on. Also had to put deposit for tv remote and the was first ever had to do.

Better pillows and mattresses

We were only stopping for the night so were just looking for a place to shower and sleep. Beds appeared clean and tidy. Hangers were provided for a few iems. Shower was dripping when we arrived. Tried to turn it off but could not. Second bed was right up close to the heating/A-C Unit and it was not easy to get to the control panel.

We arrived 15 minutes before check in. The room wasn't available until 45 minutes after that (30 minutes AFTER check in time). The staff said they would let us know when it was ready and instead started checking in someone who came AFTER we did. We asked about a 1st floor room (my partner has a disability). We were told that if we had a pet with us that would be possible. So, pets get preference over disabled veterans. And check in is when they get around to it.

This hotel just reminded me of A Old worn out hotel, holes in the walls where it looks like they're doing maintenance. Main lobby stinks, did not have any shampoo only a bar soap, i'll put it this way as a ex construction worker, for me I can handle it, but I would not bring anybody with me , I wouldn't bring a wife , I wouldn't bring a girlfriend and I wouldn't bring my parents, and probably if you wasn't a construction worker , you wouldn't stay there

You can tell that they are working hard to improve this older facility. My room was VERY CLEAN. Check in was great. The updates in my room were very nice! I would not hesitate to send others there and will stay again. It's a half way stop for me when I go to my daughter's.

Pet friendly, heater knobs missing but worked well once we figured out how to work it. The room felt dated and cold but we werent expecting too much for the price and rhe 2 star rating.

I picked the wrong city. I called right after I booked. They refused to refund my money. We stayed at the Motel 6 in Forsyth.

Room had just been painted and smelled like paint. Cockroach crawling across floor. People above us making a lot of noise till about Midnight.

My room was clean and even smelt good. It was a very small room with blue walls but it had everything I needed. The star of the show was the large walkin shower now all the rooms dont have those. This hotel doesn't serve breakfast but there is a Macon up the road. It has a mini fridge,microwave,giant tv,ac and heating,desk and internet. The bed was comfortable and clean. What I like about this hotel is it's just minutes away from Wild Adventures Themepark which I visit often and the large walkin shower. You will be given the tv remote at check in and must return it at checkout.

I took pictures of the floor around the toilet. There was some sort of brown debris on the walls. The floors were dotted with what I guessed to be pee, splashing out of the toilet the counter between the toilet, and the sink was dirty. The towel I got out of the rack to cover the floor was dirty.

Just your typical newly remodeled Motel 6. If you’re been to one recently then you know exactly what I mean. All new inside, paint, bedding and fixtures. Close to several restaurants and quickie marts

They give you the remote to the tv when you check in. Apparently they go missing often. Decent abountof food choices nearby The shower had luke warm water the first day and COLD water the 2nd day. I had it turned all the way up, trued to let it warm up and nothing. It was unbearble. Would have skipped a shower except i was dusty/dirty from the days activites. The sheets were old and had marks all over them. There was several dogs in rooms near us and one barked till after 2am. Making it hard to sleep. Check out was quick, bring the remote back to front desk.

The room was ok considering I just spent the night. The only thing for me was the sheets which looked 20 years old and had cigarette burns everywhere, other than that the room was very clean and there as a fridge and a microwave which were a plus for me.

Room refrigerator did not work, for me anyway. Took a shower less than 10 min at 9 am and hot water ran out. Bed was reasonably comfirtable and room seemed clean.

Bed Bugs!!! Beware avoid at all cost! Ate my sisters arm up! Shown front desk they are filing a pest report before they will even approve a refund giving the go around do not stay here unsafe and has bed bugs!!!

not a place i would stay with a family felt unsafe. seems like it is an extended stay motel. kids screaming most of the night. no water pressure. can see they are remodeling the rooms as our room was newly done.

The a/c was not blowing cold & extremely loud. People selling drugs & fighting all over the property also extremely loud ALL night!! Bed was a king but sheets were for a queen stained all over as well!! There was no blanket just a sheet that wasnt even big enough to fit the bed!! The floor was filthy throughout the whole room including the bathroom!! The outside property was littered with trash, ciggarette butts, etc!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!they also charged me a pet deposit & never gave it back even tho we were only there 8 hrs & my dog didnt damage anything

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay. I expected it to be a real dump, based on the price, but it was not at all. I enjoyed a nice evening.It was very clean and very well Kept. The staff was wonderful.I will definitely be back!

The hotel is updated; however, it is still very outdated. I did see a few bugs and the lights on outside the hotel made it very hard to sleep; it was like it was daylight outside. It looked as though they were getting ready to start more work on the hotel. The room served its purpose of being a stop on the way to our destination. I don’t think I’d stay there again, though.

I stay here on average twice a year. The rooms, grounds and most importantly the staff are ALWAYS excellent!

For starters, I came here because I came for the Wild Adventures theme park in Valdosta, GA with my daughter and to work as well. If it weren't for the weather I would have never stayed. This was a regret I was afraid when I pulled up the building was run down and I was on the 2nd, which had no elevator so I had to unload all my items including suitcases, and go upstairs. I did not feel safe here with a 5-year-old. When arriving I was told there was Wi-Fi Let's just say I missed 2 days of work because the Wi-Fi did not work which is why lead customers on. Then there was also a 25.00 deposit I paid the entire amount for the stay and when arriving there was a deposit I explained to the check-in clerk nowhere on the fine print it specifies a deposit. I explained what if I did not have this amount when I already paid the hotel... Let's talk about the lead on there is no breakfast only coffee that should be removed from your fine print and don't let me start with the experience. The chair was like a school chair in the room nowhere to work and relax then the towels were awful thank god I brought my towels. The beds oh my the quilts had cigarette holes and the bedding and the pillows are so flat only 2. I did not sleep well thank god I brought my blankets. All night I could hear a dog barking and whoever was next door to me was in and out all night. I was afraid someone would come into the room. The staff was gonna call the police on a guest never again 1 star

We were given a room in the back of the motel. It was surprisingly quiet, except for the trains which announced themselves going through town about two times during the night!

We left many days early because there was no deadbolt on the door, the sheets were dirty, it was noisy from others who seemed to live there, and there was ongoing construction on the building. We didn't feel safe and didn't sleep much at all due to the experience. Luckily, the people were nice and didn't fight the refund request.

The place was clean and the staff was super nice. It's an older motel, so I knew exactly what to expect. Got exactly what I paid for as far as amenities and comfort. Bed was old and mattress wasn't that comfortable. Room was very clean, so that goes a long way, just not that comfortable. I would recommend it for the price I paid.

The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. The curtains are basically useless because all the lights to everyroom stay on all night and SO MUCH light shines into the room. The smoke detecor was tapped up on the ceiling. The room had a funny smell and there were constant weird noises going on kept me up most the night.

Stayed in the Motel 6 while waiting to get into my apartment. I had a great experience. clean rooms, and great amenities. The staff were very kind and caring. There is an older white woman at the front desk who is super nice and has great customer service, as well as the cleaning lady is also very thoughtful. overall a great experience and I will be returning if I ever need to again

Tiny but sparkling clean. Absolutely unbeatable for the money. We have stayed here twice and plan on staying here whenever we come to Valdosta. Why pay a big price to spend the night in an immaculate room when you can come to Motel 6?
