The only good thing I can say is the bed was very comfortable.

It was very close to the job that I was working on for a full week, 2 hours away from home.. very economical, and everything is within a few minutes of the hotel, right in the heart of town.. the front desk staff was awesome! And I love the coffee maker in the lobby.

Bed was sooo hard. The frame is a horribly designed metal frame that squeaks the entire night. No box spring or wooden slats to absorb the firmness of the mattress. The room appeared pretty clean overall. It is just so old and worn that it feels dirty to be in there. I am a hunter and fisherman. I have stayed in some seedy motels in the styx that were very similar. The stay was rather inexpensive compared to most in the area though. If it were nicer, I am sure they would charge more.

Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable No elevator had to climb steps. After having 4 spinal surgeries stairs are not my friend.

Pillows horrible, looks like they are attempting to update properties but bathroom was pretty gross, clean yet didn’t want to use!

I sent a request ahead of time because I am disabled traveling with the dialysis equipment that can be heavy not only did they give me the first floor room that I asked for, but they gave me a room located closest to the office which made access super easy. We even extended by an extra night and they made that process super easy and quick

Area was on main road with low income housing directly behind the complex. Would never have stayed there if it wasn’t the only hotel available in the area while we waited for our condo to be ready. I would have rather slept in the car. ? Seriously? It was disgusting especially after spending the night prior in the Hilton Garden. The price we paid at the Travel Lodge was $284!!! DISGRACEFUL! They should be ashamed charging such a price for a dump! Sleep in your car!

The hotel is next to a busy road and you heard cars and trucks all night. No extra amenities in the room such as toilet paper, hair dryer, blankets. I would not stay here again

My comforter was stained dirty and mold in the windows , I couldn't breath in the room The smell of Mold was strong. The elevator was filthy looked like it has never been cleaned. The trash was overflowing with beer cans and Liquor on the third floor trash barrel was oozing across the the walk way, I had to carry my suit case I didnt want the mess in my room. I check out

Arrived at stated check in time after traveling 3 hours due to family emergency and was told by the front desk that none of the rooms were clean and "could i go somewhere for awhile till they are cleaned" The rooms are in terrible, run down shape and I paid 140.00 per night for 3 nights through this website. Its a total slum!!! I am VERY disappointed. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone.

No hot water, bed was hard as a rock, bathroom wall tile was cracked.

One chair was the only furniture other than the bed. Lots of insects (mostly ants) in bathroom. Housekeeping was sporadic. Had to get clean towels and toilet paper on two separate occasions. Iron but no ironing board.

Bedding, sheets, and towels were all stained/dirty. No hot water in the sink. No hair dryer or safe in the room. Room was not clean when we arrived (spills and ants all over the bedside table, hair in the shower and sink).

Was advertised as heated "but not right now" because it needs parts and maintenance that the desk guy told me are never coming. The owner of this property pretty much uses it as a write off and couldn't care less about it and it shows in every way. As a single military guy, I could have endured it but it would have been the worst accomodation I ever slept in. But as a husband and father, I could not subject my family to that.

After reading reviews prior to my staying I was a little worried but I can honesty say the room was nice and clean. It does need a little updated but it was well maintained. i would have rated it higher but there was only two minor issues. The air conditioner (old style) made a loader noise that you couldn't hear the TV and for whatever reason i coul only get warm water not hot.

First room I walked in on had filthy towels on the ground a dirty shoe prints in the shower and bathroom. I was given another room immediately after that.

Clean Room

The room was recently upgrade, it was clean and comfortable although sparcely furnished. I wish I had been notified of the hot water issue before hand and would have rebooked somewhere else

We decided not to stay due to conditions of room, staff indifference and generally felt unsafe. When we informed front desk that we would not be staying, she just asked for the key cardx and said that was it? Did not ask why or try to make it right. Not even an offer of a refund. This experience has put us off selecting this hotel brand.

The price is good. May not be the Ritz but it is no dump as many of the in town. I forgot my cooler and several hours later I realized once home. Called the desk and they found it and kept it until I returned a week later. For the budget this place is great a little dated Try that at the Holiday Inn wouldn’t have happen.

There was nothing I liked about this property. I ordered a two bed handicap and Travelocity rep didn't get it right.. Ended up with a queen and a roll in shower which the water went out into the whole room making it very unsafe. it was very dirty. Floors had not been mopped in weeks--except for the bathroom floor which was flooded each shower.

Rooms are big and very clean! Nice staff and friendly guests here!!

Bare bones, but excellent location, for beaches, restaurants, etc. Bed was comfortable. Pool was small but pleasant.

Directly on a major road so it was often noisy. Loud man yelling from a balcony, with Sarasota sheriff’s deputies arriving, making me feel unsafe. No coffee maker in room. One of the beds was unusable as it made noise every time I moved. Next time I’d pay a little more for peace of mind and comfort.

Room was disgusting, floor was sticky, bed was squeaky, area was run down, room smelled like ass and bad decisions, staff was unwelcoming, prostitution and drug activity. Do not recommend!

Clean and quiet place.

I called 4 days ahead of my stay to tell the front desk we would not be checking in until 9pm saturday night. The hotel took the information down. Now this being florida, you need AC to not die of heat stroke. This property has old style single room AC's with no central AC. The problem with that is, if staff doesnt turn on the AC before you arrive, its 85-90 degrees in the room. Thats what happened to us. Then, the power went out and the room was over 90 degrees due to no ceiling fans or circulation of any kind. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Spend a bit more money and it could save your marriaage.

Although it was 3:00 a.m. in the morning. The desk clerk was very kind and helpful.

Couldn't stay in the first room i was given, terrible smell of smoking. Bed was comfortable but only had a thin sheet, no blanket anywhere in the room.

Stay away from this location, horrible. The idiot running the front desk doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing. After several attempts (by that I mean 3 attempts) at getting a working room key we still couldn’t get into our room. After returning to the office the fourth time we just canceled our stay.

Outside property could use a lil revamp but inside was good. Clean, neat, spacious n quiet. Lot of shopping n restaurants across the street. Was pleased. Very pleasant stay.

Staff was great, room was another story. Bed was horrible, dead bugs on floor. Walked across the tile floor and the bottom of my feet were black with dirt. AC took hours to cool the room.

Absolutely filthy room. Bed was made with dirty sheets that were stained and smelled disgusting. Gross lampshades covered in dust and broken. Bathroom had mildew. I didn’t even sleep here I left within 2 hours it was that bad. I’ve stayed at over 100 hotels and this without doubt was the worst condition hotel and room I have ever stayed in.

the people who run this hotel are dishonest and Expedia should not have them on their website. they are crooks plain and simple.

at check in the front desk said I had booked a handicap room, I said I did not need , it must have been a mistake, he gave me a regular room with 1 king bed, no problem I thought, 1 hour later I get a voicemail from same guy asking if I still need handicap room, I go back to front desk and he tells me I'm being charged for both rooms and its up to me to straighten out the mess he made with Expedia, this hotel should not be listed on Expedia, they are dishonest crooks that try to rip you off.

My husband and I found the sheets in the bedroom dirty, stained with what I believe were bodily fluids, and the bathroom also had some cockroaches. I went down from my room to the lobby, told the clerk and he said he didn't have another room and gave me other sheets to change. Don't go to that place. It's unacceptable.

That is the only pro. Its filthy. Stains all over the walls, bugs, hair all in the shower, run down in general. They are also doing construction to half the building, and there were loose screws all over the parking lot. Stay away

Really dirty, especially the floors and walls. Paper thin blanket, and poor quality for everything. My husband and I both felt sick every time we came back to the room, but much better once we left it.

Reason for rating on property condition is only because they are currently under renovations. The renovations do not hinder your stay or create any inconveniences

The traffic was loud. The door keys didn’t work 2x.

This property is dilapidated, the grounds are neglected and dirty. The room was essentially clean, but very dilapidated. It looks like a motel from the 70s. 1 chair, no luggage rack. Best feature of the room was the fridge. I'm astounded at the price I paid for such a room. Use this one as your last resort.

Not particularly impressive property. Very slippery tile floors throughout and no handicap accessible. Bath tub not handicap accessible and very slippery. I fell and almost broke my head. If you’re taking a shower here put a towel on the tub before you walk into it.

The area was not good, so I couldn’t leave tools in my truck because of stealing I did not stay because they refused me taking my tree saws up to the room so people wouldn’t steal them out of my truck

Simlple, clean and reasonable.

Lots of cigarette butts on walkways and stairs, no TV channel guide in room and front desk personel had no idea what channels were what, no drawers in room, no clothes hangers in room, musty smell in room, bed mattress was shaped like a bath tub. Overall it was an unpleasant place to stay.

Plumbing problems, electrical plugs didn’t work, no hair dryer hand rails were rusted. I could go on, but do not stay in this motel!!

The room was dirty.the bathroom was tiny.the air conditioner kept leaking all over the floor so i had to keep it dry, the laundry room was closed no ice machine and was told to go to 7 eleven to get ice the elevator was to far from the room so my elderly mother in law had to take the 2 flights of stairs. The poat on hotel.com was lies.

The room was hotter than hell and took over an hour to cool to a reasonable level. First room the ac did not work and had to move.

The manager was rude, the room smelled, it was missing the iron and a bathroom window curtain or shade. I was told I could not have visitors and not make any phone calls. I was questioned about my service dog

Surprisingly great condition and value

Over-priced motel on a noisy street with very noisy window AC/heating. No breakfast included. Provided free coffee but no cup cover. Has a small unguarded pool. Good thing is there's a McDonald's and a Subway next door.

Do not get a hotel room at this place! Stains on the sheets, Smells of must and cigarettes, Cockroaches in the bathroom, No hot water in the shower or bathroom sink.

Expedia had a breakfast included with the stay, however in person there was no breakfast, everything else was as stated.

The room tile floor was not clean. Sticky to my bare feet. When I showered the tub floor turned black. I cannot believe this hotel is part of the Windham franchise family.

The hotel is disgusting- we rented 2 rooms for 4 people and the night manager wanted to know why we were all standing in front of the same room. Was constantly asking what we were doing and all we wanted to do was have a peaceful family trip. They ruined it.

The hotel is disgusting. The floors were so sticky it left black marks. We went and bought our own bedding because there were stains on ours as well as the chair and holes in the wall that someone drew a heart on and put a bandaid over.

We spent 5 days here and had to ask for clean towels every day at front desk. We put up the no maid service for the first day only and not for other days. Therefore no housekeeping was done for entire stay. We maintained the room ourselves. Language barrier with housekeeping staff. The pool was clean and nice. No place to shower at pool area before going into pool. No in room coffee pot. Had a nice microwave and fridge/ freezer. Location is great.

Very run down. Got bug bites, which aren't bed bugs, but are something that gave me random blister-type welts.

Condition of property and cleanliness were an issue. There was a leak in the bathroom and water on the floor. We were in the front, so you can hear the traffic. The floors were quite dirty.

The room was not clean, floors in bathroom had hair, rust on everything. The walls were dirty the floor was so dirty it turned our feet black. Not to mention the ceiling had water leak stains and a big spot that needed to be redone.

Desk clerk hardly spoke English. Wouldn’t fix drain in tub. Felt unsafe. Questionable people outside. Bathroom floor looked bad. Ceiling in closet flaked off. Bed had only thin sheet and thin comforter. No blankets. No furniture to sit on. Only desk chair. Very dissatisfied. Wouldn’t ever stay here again.

It looked rundown the bathroom could use a makeover the tv was ancient and not great reception…the beds were comfy and clean…but there wasn’t even a pen or paper to write on just not worth my money will not stay there again

I did not stay there. However, Hotel did say they would cancel my reservation. But my credit card was still charged. I did cancel 20 minutes after booking. I'm very unhappy with this App.

Disgusting scary place, no blankets just a sheet and thin cover old spread. Giant Palmetto bugs, creepy people, trust me go someplace else. Door dash and scetchy deliveries all night long..yuk!! To expensive to be cheap!! Its really awful. Stinky sewer smell in moldy old unvented bath. Yuuuk.

I love that this spot is across from restaurants and your favorite stores. I worked in the area and I would've made this my destination spot. But I awoke to a bite over my eye and a welt on my cheekbone that caused that side of ny face near my eye to swell. Very Disappointed

Room had a weird smell to it, the floors needed to be mopped so we didn’t take our shoes off, the bathtub had been resurfaced but was also peeling and didn’t look clean and when we tried to take a shower we pulled the lever for the water to go to the shower head and the spout pulled away from the wall

This hotel should not even be open! Worst ever! Construction crap everywhere, bad lighting, or no lighting. TV didn’t work, place was horrible!!!
