The staff were all friendly and helpful. The grounds and rooms were clean. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the beach. The rooms in June were only averaging about $110per night on the weekend. I am pleased and would definitely return again. 😀

The toilet didn't flush and the coffee maker had the wrong size coffee holder so it didn't work. Other than that the room was clean and the bed comfortable. For one night it was well worth the money.

Very convenient,had everything you needed and pool was never crowded staff was awesome, very affordable was skeptical at first because I'm a hotel snob but the hotel I pre booked the front desk lady was rude ASF so I cancelled and ran into ocean 2700 it was after a busy weekend and they were just cleaning rooms so we couldn't check in immediately (but it was prior to check in time anyway) but the second a room was ready they called it was great price will definitely stay again... They even opened pool early after I asked when it opened and again it was prior to open time but they opened it right up for us... Great staff especially front desk lady ...

A few odd things just to mention not to count against, but thought it was odd that the room did not have a trashcan anywhere but a tiny one in the bathroom, no phones to call the Front Desk, if you needed something, you’d have to walk down, there was no hand soap in the bathroom, and I’m not sure why but at 11 PM we could not get the water hot to take a shower! Two of us had like warm showers, it was too cold for me, so I just rinsed quickly and jumped out! Overall our stay was inexpensive and comfortable so we were still happy. I just hope next time we can get a hot shower because if not, then we probably won’t be back, and we do visit Virginia Beach regularly.

1-night stay during a very busy event weekend. Room was clean and amenities were adequate. Very close to boardwalk, restaurants, and shops. Front desk was very cordial and helpful!

I didn't like it at all. The room was dirty and it had bugs in it. I didn't stay at all. I asked for a refund and went to the Hampton. I had to pay for that night even though I didn't stay because I canceled the day we seen the room. Don't get this hotel at all.

The room was very clean and spacious. Being so close to the beach front is amazing, with most hotels there you have to pay for parking but here it was free. The staff is very helpful and kind. It rained most of my stay and with it being so humid the air conditioner was put in to work. And it did not disappoint. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

When we looked at the property on Expedia it was listed as a hotel and it's a motel. The room was a decent size and their was always parking available no matter time we got in. If you're in the area for a couple of nights, then yes.

This is a nice place to stay for a long weekend at the beach, its no frills but clean and comfortable, barely had to drive anywhere and good that it comes with free parking. One thing that did bug me is the lights right outside make it feel like afternoon when its the middle of the night. Great weekend.

The AC worked great and the room was clean but be aware that there is no elevator and this is a motel not a hotel which I didn’t notice from the photos.

The room we first got was disgusting. It has pee in toilet,beds weren't made,candy rappers in floor,etc...the second was ok. But we had to ask for remote and couldn't get TV to work,couldn't get extra pillow. Pool had leaves in it. I would definitely not stay here again.

This place is a dump. Have no idea who wrote the favorable reviews here. The property is shabby, with peeling paint and rusty fixtures. The floor is sticky throughout the room. In corners there is mold and filth. It may be cheap, but it ain’t worth it.

Front desk lady I forgot to get her name .but she was most helpful and kind person I met down there she was wonderful very grateful to have been staying there I had room 205 suite great neighbor beside my room mj and Rachel amazing ppl I tell you ... We had drunk neighbors above us playing loud music .. arguing .. fighting .. throwing things around .. threatening each other and tossing cigarettes down to our parking area/car. No sleep. In addition popr lighting in room snd only 1 of 2 bedside lamps worked. The other flickered.

I was only meant to be there three nights and left one day early, paid extra for an early flight home because it was so bad! I asked for a discount and got no answer. Do not book here.

Also there’s no latch on the inside of the door just the electronic lock from outside and no phone in the room.

Overall, 3 out of 5. The best thing about this hotel is the price, the staff was amazingly friendly. Last minute budget find. Could be cleaner, and could have better air conditioning units. Me, my grandmother, and little one all left with dry throats. Not sick, just woke up with very dry hard to swallow type throat irritation. I wont stay here again, but I woukd say if you are on a budget and need a quick find. This is it.

Id rather sleep in my car. Decided to not sleep and end our VA beach trip a day earlier than planned. Significant change needed at Ocean 2700, VA Beach.

The rooms were not clean. You could see the dirtiness you take the trash bag out and you see all the dirt and nastiness in the bottom of the trash cans. As far as the staff we called several times because there were loud noises throughout the night from our room next to us we were told to handle it that they were not going to do anything and when we ask for fresh towels, we were told we could go wash them and we would have clean towel towels, but the two towels and the two washcloths we were given were all we were gonna have unless we wash them.

The hotel is old to start with . Any photo to make u think otherwise is deceiving. Electrical issues all over . No power to ac/heat unit. Lights that eventually come on . No way this is a 7.4 out of 10 . Maybe a 5. I will say it was pretty clean , the beds were ok . Pillows not so much. The tv worked . The shower water pressure was not great but there was hot water . We did not discover the ac/heat issue until late in the evening. So it was never addressed . Will not return or put much trust in future ratings .

The tv didnt work. Had staff look at it. They were unable to fix it. Had to ask for extra towels. I stayed 3 days. And inly 1 towel set in the room when i checked in. But over all. For the price it was worth it.

The tile floors in the room were absolutely filthy. If you took more than 10 steps barefooted, the bottoms of your feet were black. Literally black. The rooms have been given a “facelift“, but none of the lighting works properly. Many outlets also did not work. Apparently, they tried to paint the bathtub, and the paint is peeling off everywhere. The pillows on the bed were essentially useless. The room, air conditioner was feeble, but managed to keep the room cool with a set point of 68°.The room did have a functioning, refrigerator and microwave, however, and the TV was relatively new and equipped with Cox cable. The pool area is closed and the cover is still on the pool. Amenities around the pool are dog eared. We were there for three nights and never got maid service or fresh linens. I would not recommend staying here.

I had no idea I would be booking a room in a place this. The pictures on Expedia looked decent, and quite different than in person. There were 2 bugs in the toilet, the lights didn’t work and it reeked of cigarettes in my room. I asked to switch rooms immediately, as I was not given a refund to stay somewhere else. The man did apologize and moved me to a different room, thankfully. The new room had only 1 towel and also reeked of cigarettes. I needed a place to sleep overnight so I dealt with it and left early. No one was at check duty it upon departure, and the door was locked, so I left my key in my room and left. Will not stay here again.

This is a motel. The ac/heat worked good. That’s about all the good things I can say. I wouldn’t stay here again. There were no towels or coffee supplies in our room when we checked in. Front desk was nice but could only give us 2 towels and 2 hand towels and a washcloth for 3 people. Cleanliness was barely there. Pool wasn’t open. There were dead bugs and hair on the floor.

Nothing I waited 4 hours to check in, the front desk was rude, I had to wait even longer to get my room because they gave my room original room to others. It was hard to sleep at night due to the overwhelming amount of noise, there was a smell coming from my room.

This is a tough one...the check in area was a bit gross and smelly but the room was decent. It appeared clean and the bathroom wasn't too bad either. Updated sink and shower. Dirty behind the toilet. Bed wasn't too comfortable but I didn't see any bugs! :) AWESOME LOCATION! Beach is two blocks and you're on the main strip or stores and restaurants. I spent $57 on the room for one night...a-ok for me!

Clean room, friendly receptionist man, good parking at the time but I feel like the should expand. AC and heat worked well. I only had a problem with the tv working in the beginning. & had to wait the next day for it to get fixed.

Parking was very tight, even for my Focus. Room was pretty out of date. They were out of TP so we were given Kleenex. Which was fine. Staff was nice despite it being his first day and another guest was giving him sh** about $12. Probably wouldn’t stay again. But it was inexpensive and that’s always a bonus.

The staff were not helpful at all they took 20 minutes to answer the phone and longer to assist us in person. They were never on property to accommodate our stay and the maintenance man had to call the front desk clerk and tell him to answer the door . The staff were horrible and not helpful at all. Everything else was great, good parking and very clean room with a nice set up.

Parking was very limited we had to park across the lot from where our room was located. When we arrived to check in the office was locked and had a doorbell on the door to ring for service. Done that twice and nothing had to call to get service. Upon entering our room and within our stay there were numerous problems. We arrived to a roll of toiletpaper that had maybe 20 sheets on it. 2 towels one containing black stains on it and 1 washcloth given there was 2 of us with not a single handtowel. Called the office and was told for anything we needed we had to wait for the housekeeper to come in at 9 the next morning. We had to buy toilet paper from the 711 next door and each of us use the same towel and washcloth. The next morning i took the towels to the housekeeper he said he would take them to be washed and would bring them back in an hour he couldnt even switch out our towels. It was vacation so we was ouf for the day expecting to beable to shower when we returned. Still nothing had been replaced. I went to the office and was told the housekeeper was gone for the day and he had no more we would have to wait til he came in at 9 the next morning. Not to mention the next day we had check out at 11. The coffee pot hod no supplies or cups and the microwave was without the tray inside. The bed was made with a metal fram which was broken on the bottom corners causing a loud noises with all movement. The area was nice but overall the service and conditions of the room were terrible

It was a good price for the oceanfront. The bright lights that come on at night makes it hard to sleep. There was no toilet paper. Our room wasn't clean, no one swept we had to wipe down everything before we used it. Dirty sock from previous guess was behind the bathroom door. If the hotel invested in real cleaning services it would be considered a nice room.

Upon entering the room I found stuff from previous stays in the chest of drawers. There was no toilet paper nor was there a place for toilet paper. I asked the young boy standing outside of the utility room if they had toilet paper and he said no. He then handed me a box of tissues. The cable didn't work and when i mentioned it to the man at the desk he seemed like he couldn't be bothered and told me thw cable box probably isn't plugged into the tv. I had already checked that before saying anything. The property and parking lot is full of trash. The room on the second floor that has the ice machine was full of trash and half eaten food like mozzarella sticks. Its a shame because the location is pretty convenient.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. There was pee on the bed sheet upon checking in, and a strong cigarette smell in the room. Upon talking to the general manager, he told us to go to the housekeeper to get a room change. When approaching the housekeeper, he was smoking a cigarette while cleaning the room. He showed us another room that was just as disgusting. The sheets were stained, the room reeked of cigarette smoke even though it was a smoke free room, and there were bugs all over. We were scared to even sit down anywhere. Obviously checked out immediately however was told that we could not get a refund unless we go through Expedia.

Do not stay here. I don’t know who would ever say this is clean in a review but it was by far the most disgusting place I have ever seen. We checked in at almost midnight and booked a new place by 2am. Told the front guy our room was filthy and he showed us 2 other rooms equally as disgusting. Poop skid marks in toilets, blood in toilets, unidentifiable bloody globs on wall, dead bugs everywhere, tub was black, sink had not been cleaned in I don’t know how long, hair on bed. We told him the were all dirty and he replied that sometimes housekeeping didn’t clean very good. We left and checked out before 6am and left for our new hotel. The guy said they would refund our stay through hotels. Com but now are refusing. Do not stay here. I sure hope I can attach pics with this review for you all to see our nightmare.

This is a bare bones place to stay, and some of the usual amenities are not provided. (There was a coffee maker, but no cups and non-decaf coffee.) The room had been cleaned, but not thoroughly (i.e. false eyelashes behind the sink). Fortunately it was quiet enough for us to sleep.

The bath tub needs to be changed. The shower curtain was dirty. You are better off bringing your own towels. Parking was ok and the area is wonderful with lots of walking distance places.

Rooms were clean and semi updated but there was no housekeeping service, the towels were threadbare and stained with rust and bleach, and there was one towel, one beach towel and one washcloth for my 3 night stay. Hand soap dispenser was empty upon arrival and TP holder was broken. I’ll pass on this property next time.

Close proximity to our venue, price was fair Not clean, arrived to no toilet paper and only 1 towel. Smelled really bad of stale cigarette smoke and it was a non smoking room. Asked for towels and was continually given floor mats. Base of toilet was not clean. Out of soap, and shampoo. Had to purchase our own soap, shampoo and toilet paper.

Convenient location and free parking. 7-Eleven next door on one side, donut shop, Subway restaurant and The Raven Diner on the other. Room was OK. Refrigerator not very cold. Temperature adjustments didn’t make any difference. Microwave worked, but it was missing the tray that rotates when using. Shower curtain had mold on it and needed to be washed or replaced. Towels, but no wash cloths. Soap and shampoo dispensers were fine. Bedding was fine, clean sheets and pillowcases. Air conditioning was fine. Overall, not bad for what I paid for my room.

Other than the bright lights on the balconies, it was daylight all night! The attitude of the guy in the lobby out in the parking lot. The 7-11 at 6am and the noisy sirens at night.

Access to boardwalk Deadbolt did not work, smoke detector was removed from wall, shower was dirty, no soap in dispenser by the sink.

The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. No coffee in the room and the staff couldn’t find any when asked. It’s an inexpensive room that was in better condition when we stayed there last year, thus the choice to stay again. I guess we got what we paid for this time around. We won’t stay here next year.

There was only one towel and it was fairly stained. Luckily, I had my own. The toilet paper had been set down in some water so I ended up going to buy some of my own. There was shampoo and 2 conditioners in the shower, but no body wash. It was an okay stay, but I was disappointed by those things, especially because of the price. But if you are running the Shamrock, you couldn’t ask for a better location.

Room was in horrible condition, ceiling repairs needed wall repairs needed, dirty hand prints on walls and soap dispensers and 3 of the 5 were out didn’t even have soap in them, floors had dirt in corners, was told after 11 there was no staff available, also was not told the road in front on the hotel would be closed and wouldn’t be able to leave in the morning if it wasn’t for getting up so early and finding out myself from a city worker I would have been stuck there till after 11am due to a marathon race! I took pictures of all I mentioned! Standards are far far below even low standards! Also fan vent was nasty and the toilet paper was almost empty and no extra rolls anywhere!

Location and walking distance from beach. Room was not clean. The towels were not washed and just folded for the next guest. "Stuff" was on the towels and they were damp. It wasn't due to the rainy day because of seeing stuff on the towels. I couldn't believe it. Pants from the last guest left in bathroom, hair on the tub, fuzz ball in corner of bathroom. I tried two rooms and the same situation with dirty towels. When I asked for clean ones, they only had one to provide us with. The hotel was not full as we were definitely in off season. Because we were past the cancellation date of our reservation, we had to pay for half of our reservation. (2 nights out of 4). I felt we should have gotten a full refund due to the towel issue, but we did not. Unbelievable that the hotel would recycle towels. I kid you not! This wasn't a 3rd world country were maybe you would experience something like that... The refrigerator did not work. I had counted on having one so we could eat some meals in our room. We high tailed it out of there for another hotel after the second dirty room with pre-used towels. I had hoped in off season that about $90 a night would be a fair price for a lower scale hotel with decent reviews. Aweful, you get what you pay for.

It was only a two night stay. The beds were made. We got a room on the bottom floor. Those were the positives. No soap or shampoo in dispensers. The thinnest pillows I have ever seen. Ceiling looked dirty with stains. TV screen needed a good cleaning. Marks or stains on table between beds. Caulking around tub needs a cleaning. Not enough towels or washcloths. Parking lot with glass, crumpled cans and other debris. $24 resort fee payable at check in. Hahaha! Resort is certainly a stretch. Didn’t use wifi. Only met one staff person for five minutes at check in. He was polite.

The pictures were deceptive, because the condition of the property was worse than what the pictures showed. Staff was not friendly, and the room smelled like smoke.

The room smelled clean. However we were only given two wash cloths and two towels. Our lamp in the room was broken and the bed my daughters slept in was super rocky and had a screw hanging out the bottom.

The room showed signs of bed bugs and looked generally dirty and like it hadn’t been cleaned properly between guests. And the staff was not helpful in helping our situation and truly seemed unapologetic about it.

Sheets & towels were very dirty. This hotel is not really a hotel anymore it’s is transient housing. The furniture/room layout is very poorly thought out so you can’t use the table and couch but still access the bed and the table in the bathroom makes it hard to open the bath room door. Half the electrical outlets done work, hair drying won’t shut off without tripping the gcfi function, the main light in the bathroom would flicker making it useless, the walkways are painted concrete which is peeling badly but when wet it’s very slippery and there are no signs. Just all around not a well run or clean property. Should be closed down.

Worst experience with a motel ever. Door battery was dead and could not be replaced until the 2nd day of our stay. Only two towels in the room, one of which was stained. King sized bed had only two of the half sized pillows. Both were old and very thin. Mildew prevalent around tub. Website indicated free parking and Wi-Fi, however they charged a “resort fee” which was for parking and Wi-fi. We will not be staying there again.

Bad service, dirty, average room. We checked in and found our toilet was plugged. Told the front desk and he told me I would need to come down and get a plunger to plunge it myself. Stated no rooms were available so he wouldn’t assign us to a different room. Even though both rooms on either side of us were unoccupied (known because the curtains were open and rooms were not being used). Told me he would move us the next day but then said they fixed the toilet, they did not. Towels were dirty, bed sheets had stains and so many other things that make this a terrible hotel to stay at. Do not stay here!

We called over 24 hours ahead to cancel due to an illness and they would not accommodate even a partial refund or a change in dates. I understand that is the policy, but many hotels will work with you if it there are cirdumstances you can't control.

• They do not provide any hangers OR clothing hooks. I left a note for the management this time saying that travelers have become used to motels providing hangers and so it is very inconvenient when there are absolutely none and I encouraged them to supply at least six hangers in each room. I had a dress event that I had to attend and wound up having to hang my pants on the foundation of the ironing board and my dress shirt draped over the rod where hangers should have been. Very inconvenient. • I keep forgetting to mention this to the management, but the floors are just plain filthy. I made the mistake of walking barefoot from the bathroom to my bed (my feet were dry) and by the time I got to my bed all this cruddy crap was all over the bottom of my feet that I had to wipe off with my hand. It felt like there was salt and pepper all over the bottom of my feet; nobody had even swept, vacuumed, or mopped the floors at all. It needs all three! This occurred the last time I was there as well. Consequently, I had to make sure to have my moccasins or socks available before I walked anywhere in the room. That’s pretty unacceptable I must say. • There should be real blankets on the beds instead of just double sheets; that would prevent needing to keep the heat cranked up to 71 overnight just to make sure I’m not chilly when I’m sleeping. That cost of management money.

However, there were a few basic housekeeping issues that stood out. Almost all of the soap dispensers were empty, and there was only one roll of toilet paper initially provided, though the office did supply more when requested. The floor also did not seem to be properly cleaned — after getting out of the shower, the bottoms of my feet became noticeably dirty, which made it clear the floor needed more attention even though there wasn’t any visible debris. It was still a great stay overall, but I’m rating it 3/5 because these are basic details that should be consistently handled. I tell everyone that plans on traveling to the beach to stay at oceans 2700 and staying literally anywhere else is a complete ripoff.

The room could have been a little cleaner, but better than the first room where when we tried to close the curtain the entire fixture fell from the wall. When we went to the office to explain what happened my husband was told he had to leave. We had no idea what was wrong but the young lady at the front desk was convinced that my husband went behind the hotels dumpster to urinate. Clearly after viewing the video it was not him. This was very disrespectful and I wanted to insist on a refund.

When running the sink water, the sink filled up because of clogged pipes. The blankets were very thin. That wouldnt have been so bad if it was in the summer but we went in the middle of January. The bed bases that held the mattresses were very squeaky. Overall, it was a bad experience and I chose not to shower because of the condition of the bathroom.

Small parking area. Easy to hear loud neighboring rooms. Burns on the curtains and bed sheets. Towels had blood stains and burns on them. Nothing provided to wash with other than some hand soaps on the sink. No coffee. Had to have the microwave switched but the guy was nice about it. The bed i had was uncomfortable because of a dip worn into it from people sitting on the side of the bed but my daughter seemed to sleep fine in hers. Thought pets weren't allowed but multiple loud dogs were brought there to stay. Pretty much what you would expect from a cheap motel but with the luxury of being one street over from ocean front. Definitely wont be staying there again unless im by myself and not with my kid.

Staff we showed up early, like 2 hrs early then check in. We paid 43 dollars for the room and the lady wanted to charge us 30 to let us check in early. Guess I gave her an attitude cause I told her that she could have checked us in early without the fee. Well then she refused to check me in when it was time. Told me I needed to call Expedia to get refunded, which she knew wouldn’t happen. lol

No offhours dropbox for the room key when i was ready to go home. I was unaware there was a bin in the main office with clean towels. Nobody told me where it was and to get them myself. Third was that check in being so late in the day. Why 4oclock? Most places its 2 or earlier. Its off-season and im sure there were plenty of rooms available. I had to pay a fee to check in. I got to the hotel at 130 and was tired from my drive down so i paid it because i didn't want to go get lost for almost 3 hours. Everything else was fine.

Check in was great! And easy. However, when we got into the room, the bathroom light was blinking. We had to turn it off and turn it back on, and it finally worked. There was mold on the bathroom walls in the nightstands really needed to be updated.

Considering the price, this was a good deal. The room was clean but the stairs and parking lot were not. Beds were fine but pillows were some of the worst I’ve experienced. Given two bath towels for four people but the kids didn’t shower so it didn’t matter.

Good value for a less expensive hotel

Staff was great. The room could use some upgrades. I could hear water running when the room above me goes to the bathroom and the rainfall in the pipes when trying sleep. Also I could hear all the people and street traffic. The soundproofing needs to be improved

The staff is always very friendly! I pulled the covers down on one of the beds and it had a Tampax package and the strip laying between the sheets.

We got two rooms because the price was affordable and Expedia reviews were good. Upon entering I noticed the trashcan had trash in it. Went to the bathroom, there was one hand towel, no other towels or wash clothes. The toilet did not flush well. We did not have a phone in one room. The bathroom mirror was nice. They also have shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion dispensers which were nice.The parking lot is very cramped. For the price point, location it’s not bad for a quick stay

It was clean The remote would not work the TV would not change channels the volume on the remote would not work I told the lady at the desk several times it could be the batteries she said no I am at the little thing hanging on the TV that didn't work so finally I just gave up so we had no TV to watch but one channel and no working remote we should've got a refund or a discount because of all of this it was very noisy and loud people were hollering alarms on cars were going off all night long it was a noisiest place I've ever stayed there was wrecked a marijuana smell And I would not go back

Nothing! I was placed in 4 different rooms in 15 minutes. All the rooms were covered in vomit, mold in the fridges and dirt an dust all over the place as if they only made the beds. The receptionist at the time was "helpful" and explained how other people didn't do their jobs as if it wasn't hers job to double check to make sure the room was ready for a new guest. She stated that she would issue a refund immediately. I called on 11/13 and she said it was issued directly to Booking.com even thought I paid at the property and have a receipt. I reached out to booking chat CS who said they didn't receive any refund for the stay. I tried to call her back. I asked for the # she got on the confirmation that she got when she refunded the stay but she could not provide this information. She began to yell at me and said I was not allowing her to help me. BUT i paid at the property NOT booking.com. I asked for her corp /#and she told me good luck finding it an hung up. booking.com is also no help. No #

Room was barely clean. There was hair stuck to the hairdryer… I’m bald so there’s no way it’s mine. Bed so soft/worn I sank into it like a rock (6’ 200lb for reference) Room shoddy, holes in the wall. Desperate need of a remodel. And paying a resort fee? That’s an insult. Will not be staying here again. Whoever says it’s a decent place I’ll have whatever drugs you’re on because they must be good. Will be doing a review on google of this glorified motel, or “ReSOrT” as they shamefully call it, save as many people the trouble. Go to the Ramada or holiday inn. Avoid here at all cost.

There were roaches in the entryway to the building. This was actually a motel not a hotel. The towels were stained in the bathroom, the tv did not work, the beds were uncomfortable, the people were gathered right outside our room to smoke and so it was noisy all the time. Thank goodness we were there only for one night.

The woman at the office was very helpful - brought us additional coffee packets - however the coffee maker did not work when we later tried to make 2 cups. There were no tissues in the bathroom. The location is just a block from the beach and restaurants.

I went off season and enjoyed myself. The staff was great rooms cleaned, and I felt safe.

We found the premises a little noisy late at night with rowdy guests shouting from their rooms to the car park and vice versa well into the early hours of the morning. I don’t think there’s much the management can do, and it’s not a massive issue at this price point.

Check in is at 4, we arrived 12 minutes early and the girl at the front desk said sorry check in time is at 4, I will have to see if they are done cleaning. She calls and confirms the cleaning is done. And we still waited another 5 minutes before getting out room keys. The receptionist said it's policy to wait until 4. By this time it 2 minutes too 4. The room is in much need of a serious update. While the place smelled cleaned, the slanted floor, the heavy caulk around the toilet, the peeling of the furniture, and rundown look over shadowed the cleanliness. I'm not sure how this place received an 8?? My husband said it was for one night we should be fine. Left for our planned event, came back to parking spaces available even though we are supposed to have a tag hanging from our mirror, most of the vehicles did not. We parked on the side of the office. Unable to get much rest as we could hear every person coming down the steps that was in front of the door or anyone who walked by our door and was talking. The good points: smelled clean, decent hot shower, and convince location.

I contacted the venue to let them know that I was in town for a sick relative and could I please change my reservation to a different time and then I was told I couldn’t park in the parking lot. It was loud it was dirty. It was really really gross and the surface was terrible. I hate saying this I really do. But I need to let everybody know.

Hotel was in a decent area. We felt safe staying there. Sheets were stained and so was the tub. There was only one bath towel and two wash cloths at arrival. When I asked for more, I was told I'd have to wait for housekeeping to arrive later to supply them. I did like the hotels close proximity to nearby restaurants and convenience stores. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and would stay at this hotel again.

So, after reading the reviews on this property, I thought that I would be getting a good deal. However, you pay for what you get upon walking in the room. There was not much lighting in the room. The TV was hung on the wall so crooked it was obvious And the piece of wood that it was hanging on was also crooked. We had two queen size beds for three people. We only had four pillows and they were super flat. when we asked for more pillows, we were told they didn’t have any. The bathtub in the bathroom had peeling paint and there was dirt and grime that was stained onto the peeling bathtub. The showerhead was really small. The towels were supposed to be white, but they had a blue tinge to them. We had no housekeeping for the two days we were there and had to go get more towels and washcloths the only plus sizes to this property where that you were just a couple blocks from the beach and that the beds were actually soft. I was in need of an extra blanket, cause I’m cold in nature and I couldn’t get one of those either. It was very noisy in the walls were thin. You could hear everything I would personally not stay here again.

I enjoyed a one night stay on a rainy September Saturday. The hotel was great. The building has been there for decades so it is old, but perfectly maintained, newer appliances and fixtures, immaculately clean. The room wasn't super big especially with two queen beds in, but big enough to shower sleep and chill. It's VB oceanfront so dozens of food beverage and shopping options within blocks. One block from the beach. Lots of convenience stores but only one full grocery store in the area and it's about three blocks away from this hotel so that was great. There's a small pool, barely any lobby to speak of or other common areas. Just a door to a balcony, the steps are outside as well but right next to the parking.

I paid for a king room and ended up with 2 beds, the room was disgusting and smelled so bad of a cleaner that I couldn’t allow my 6 month old baby stay there. Ended up staying in a different hotel it wa so bad.

All of these 10/10 reviews are not honest reviews. If you’re suffering from allergies or sinuses do not stay here. The room smelled as if a deodorizer bomb was set off and had to air out the room for two hours and still ended up with a headache by morning. The bed was like sleeping on the floor and the pillow was paper thin. There was debris between the sheets which tells me the sheets were not changed. This place definitely needs to be updated.

No idea how this place has a very good rating. Mold/mildew smell is layered with air freshener so cloying you can taste it. Gross, sticky floors. Holes in the sheets, two flat, OLD yellow pillows, yellowed sheets and blankets, stained towels. Hairball on the shower wall and layers of crud/dust in the ridges of headboard. Half a roll of tp on the back of the toilet, no roll dispenser. Check in was friendly/easy and close to beach are only positives. Bare bones amenities at ridiculous Oceanfront prices. Lesson learned, never again.

For price and location it was ok. Room had a wierd smell so they game a room deoderizer fogger, the toilet was hard to flush and the phone did not work(had no cord and the cord from the reciever to the base was broke so of no use).

The owner of the property is very nice sweet guy but his daughter works for him very arrogant person.This hotel is run down I was shocked when I pulled up there I double checked my GPS and Expedia app. I must be wrong address it looks okay on the picture when you booking total different when you see it physically. It is beach town many visitors due to this the room smells horrible old stained dirt couldn’t sleep, shower so dirty it doesn’t have hot water it mildly warm water. The property have three floors no elevator so if are 3rd floors with luggage good luck.

The place had a good location near the boardwalk and was clean. Plenty of parking and it had a decent pool. The room needed work: Bathroom door would not close, no hand towel for sink, toilet paper holder not installed, bed needed to be shifted down to make better room for the sofa and table, TV was impossible to work without help from the staff, and the room was noisy at night from traffic from the road. If you want a clean place to stay, with good rates, near the boardwalk then it is fine.

Cons: There were stains on the sheets, towels, and curtains. They only gave us three (very small, thin) towels for the two of us - when we asked for more, we were told to trade our dirty towels for new ones. When I tried to clarify that we actually needed more to shower (for hair and body), I was told to wait until they were done cleaning other rooms… no one ever brought us another towel. Also, I’m not sure if it’s because we had a room next to the hotel’s utility closet, but our shower never really had hot water. There was one shower where it switched from scolding hot water to freezing cold water throughout.

The desk clerk was very friendly. Our room was clean. The noise from the traffic was kind of annoying. The pool was clean and refreshing. Being able to walk to a few dining places was nice. Parking was tight, not a big area to park. My overall experience was a 4 out of 5.

Room was very clean. Bathroom amenities were great! The fan in the bathroom didn’t work. The mattress on one of the beds was about 3” lower at the head than the foot. The table between the beds was falling off the wall. TV remote wouldn’t work most of the time. Telephone wasn’t working. Tried to call the office, no one answered.

The property is very conveniently located and is just 2 blocks away from the beach. Hotel staff are very friendly and all the amenities work. Lots of good food options nearby. Rooms are in good shape and well kept. This is the best that you will get at this price point. Its a little bit difficult to find parking, but it seems there is 1 parking allotted per room.

Water was Cold I drive in and checked in near 1200am and had an 9am appt. I woke up around 7 and the water was Cold in my room I wasn’t able to get a shower I had to go get another room and change my appointment to 1pm. The hotel agent’s explanation was that there was no maintenance the on site until later…….very terrible experience

This establishment is suitable for a brief overnight stay, but perhaps not ideal for extended visits. The pervasive odor of mildew is quite noticeable. While the property is generally well-maintained, the humidity presents a challenge. Unfortunately, there are no windows available for ventilation, and the bathroom fan is the sole means of air circulation. I observed that keeping the bathroom door closed offers some improvement. The receptionist is notably professional. It is unfortunate that undesirable individuals frequent the premises, a situation that management seems unable to fully address. In my opinion, addressing the mildew issue and cleaning the shower curtains to eliminate mold could significantly improve the overall experience.

A very unpleasant and uncomfortable place to stay.

I liked the room, it was clean and modern, the bed linen on top did have tear in it. The ceiling in the bathroom was peeling a bit from an old patch. Overall it was fine for the price. LOVED that I was walking distance to the beach, a donut/coffee shop right next door and a grocery store directly behind us. We walked all over the area and did not really have to drive. Really good cafes and restaraunts all over. The noise in the motel at night was an issue, Friday and Sat night people would park in the lot or nearby and blare rap music until about 1 AM.

The room was dirty, musty, and still under renovation. I was charged full price and was charged an additional $12 for a “resort fee” when checking in. This property is not a resort or a quality hotel. Yes This more like a motor inn. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Hotel has bedbugs. When we asked for a refund for our stay , as we checked out early to go to a cleaner hotel, hotel refused.

The hotel is not worth the price, especially the price we paid during Labor Day weekend. The best thing about the place was the free parking. Yes, it's walking distance to the beach but it's situated on a noisy road. And I don't know about the top floor rooms, but on the ground floor you can hear everything in the parking lot and everyone outside late into the night. In addition, there were bugs in the room (cockroach, moth, and flies) and a lack of body wash. The king bed had 3 small, flat pillows and only 1 bigger pillow. If you can afford it, I definitely recommend spending a little more to stay elsewhere if you really want to be near the beach.

The Stay at Oceans 2700 was excellent. The cleanliness of the room and the staff were wonderful. The location was perfect for going shopping and was so close to the beach. I could walk from my room to the beach in less than 5 minutes. It was a pleasure staying at the Hotel.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. The room itself was fine however there were small things that were in disrepair and affected the experience.

The weekday value for walkable- to-beach location is terrific. Weekend pricing is unaffordable for us. I like that they actually shut the pool down at quiet hours time. I did not appreciate the lack of hot water in my room, and the inability to fix the TV IN my brothers room that conked out in a football game.

Good little spot for the budget. Comfy king size bed, good basic facilities. The place smelt a bit like a hospital though. The stairway between 1st and second floor smelt faintly like urine. But apart from that, I'd maybe go back. Its nicely located, convenient and works for the budget.

Not the fanciest of places but quiet and only a block away from the beach. Bed was comfortable but agree with other reviews to bring your own pillows, the ones in our room were the flattest pillows I've ever seen in my life. Stayed for 3 nights and did not have housekeeping stop by at all, even when I asked for someone to sweep (floors are tile instead of carpet) and empty garbages. Pool was clean, and several places to eat within walking distance. All in all, I'd stay again if I were in the area.

Check in desk separate from the actual motel. Did not look inviting whatsoever. Small Pool on site was directly next to the busy traveled road. Only thing between you swimming in the pool and a moving vehicle is a small dinky white fence. Did not feel safe. Did not have a baggage hold or offer early check in. Tried to cancel my stay upon seeing the location & lack of amenities, to my disappointment, they charged me the entire multi night stay anyway instead of a simple cancellation fee or one night stay. Very unaccommodating.. didn’t see an elevator anywhere either.

Close to the boardwalk; toilet seat cover over the water tank did not fit because it was not the correct size or shape; permanet yellow stain in the tub probably due to age means should probably should invest in a new tub. Stains in the only two chairs in the office do not make for a great 1st impression upon check in.

I was overcharged for a destination fee—my receipt showed $15, but I was billed $39. I pointed it out at the front desk, and they acknowledged the error, yet the refund never came. I’ve called and emailed several times, but no one has followed up. Unfortunately, the room also had maintenance issues (a non-working toilet and clogged shower), and while these were fixed, the cleaning crew left wet, dirty towels behind. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service and follow-through.

Unfortunately i had to cancel my reservation due to contracting COVID. The staff was very friendly and attentive when i called. However i have not been able to receive a refund due to management being unresponsive.

First time a staying in this hotel, the price is affordable and the beach is 2 minutes away. The hotel is quiet and clean enough for my one day stay. Friendly staffs and front desk.

Very noisy room and area and exhaust fan. Light above shower did not work. Very little and very crowded parking area.

Clean, convenient, and close to the beach!

Bathroom could have been cleaner. Pool was too small and not as pictured. Staff was friendly. Comfy beds were the best part.

It was so noisy. I couldn’t sleep. It was advertised as ocean front, but it is not. The level I expected for almost $300 per night was never materialized. Too expensive for this location and this type of motel
