The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center

The best part of our stay was the breakfast at the Interlude Restaurant! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is conveniently surrounded by plenty of stores and shopping options. The beds were large and very comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. I would definitely recommend staying here and would happily return in the future.

The rooms are a bit dated, but other than that, it was an excellent experience and in a wonderful location. I will visit again.

Breakfast taste good and there is a bar nearby. Reception desk is super nice and patient to a Chinese like me. Non-native friendly +! Public parking area is making me concern a little bit about my car. If my get stollen, I could not tell whose responsibility it should be.

I grew up in Virginia Beach and always wanted to stay here after it was built. What a waste of space! The room we were given faced a parking lot, out toilet didn’t work- my husband had to fix it, we ran out of soap and when we asked for more they just put a bottle I. Our room and not set it up in the shower. We asked them to freshen up the room. They only made up one of the two beds and didn’t do the next day. Never again!

I had the handicap suite on the top floor. It was very spacious and accommodating. The hotel was perfect and walking distance from several really good restaurants. Also Parking was FREE so that was a plus! I would stay here again

Our room was fine and clean. However, we had two adults and a child on the reservation, but only one set of towels was provided. I asked at the front desk and was provided two more sets. When they refreshed the room the next day, they again left only one set of towels for three people. That was a minor thing. The major problem is parking. The parking deck is attached to the hotel, but it used by the hotel guests, Westin Residents and the public. The garage driving area is very narrow, and it is very dangerous when you have cars coming and going from the garage, which is frequent since it includes public parking. There were times trying to make turns where you had just inches to spare depending on the types of cars you were passing. The parking was enough to make me never want to stay there again. Hotel staff was helpful and pleasant, room was clean, but parking can't be fixed without eliminating the public parking.

The day of arrival, the weather was cold and windy. I struggled to get my luggage into the front lobby. The staff never offered to help and without other guests assisting me with the doors that were very difficult open due to the wind, I would not have been able to get into the lobby. The wind wedged the cart in the doors. I saw the 2 front desk clerks and the a man at the desk look and all ignored my request for help. It was really quite odd and embarrassing. Had I not had a meeting the next day and travelling with a colleague (who was parking the car). I would have left the hotel.

Room and amenities are not great for the price

The staff was great, the room was clean. I enjoyed the amenities at the hotel. I would definitely recommend and I will stay again whenever I come back to VB😃

I wouldn’t say that I disliked the experience; however, there was a leak beneath our room, and the front desk called in the middle of the night to ask whether we had used the shower, toilet, or sink, and if we noticed any leaking around the bathroom. While understandable, the situation created a bit more caution than comfort during the stay.

Liked the decor, the pool, and location. Initially I brought my card didn't work for my room, I had to bring it back down to get this fixed. Then tried again and still didn't work and had to come down a third time which I was told they gave me the wrong room number. Then I came back a fourth time because my key wouldn't get me access to the gym/pool. Not a huge deal but would be good to get this ironed. out.

The hotel allowed my wife and I an early check. Having assess to the room early allowed my wife and I a place to change clothes for a baby dedication we had to officiate.

We arrived at the hotel close to 4 pm but were unable to check-in until a little after 6 pm. We were assigned to a room with queen beds although we paid for a king bed. Had to go back to front desk to get new room. The heating system was not working properly and we contacted the front desk but no one ever came. We played with the controls and finally got it working. Asked the front desk for a reduction in the $333 fee but they indicated they could not do anything since since I paid directly to Expedia. I believe that the room cost was not commensurate with what we received.

My couch in the room had stains, and trash was still in the bins from a previous guest.

The room was absolutely magnificent, it was tops from check in to check out. I will tell all my friends how wonderful my stay was at the Westin.

Delivery fee for food was ridiculous just to ride an elevator to my room. Bar staff was great. Front desk staff was understanding and amazing! As always rooms were clean , hotel smelled great. Cliental has changed , not for the good. Better room service food options would be appreciated and no service fee. We tip well. That should be enough .

Love the location of the property. We stayed overnight after attending a concert and the hotel was wonderful. Staff were very personable, hotel was clean and the city view from the room was great! So much in the VB Town Center area.

The hotel was very clean, had several safety features like using a key card to use the elevator. Friendly staff, plenty of food options and late night menus. Food was good, not spectacular but there are plenty of nearby restaurants if you really wanted to get out and about. The ease of the restaurant inside the hotel was perfect for our trip.

My husband and I only stayed for one night, however, it was a great one night. The only complaint if I call it that was the shower tile could have been cleaned a little better, but overall would stay again.

We had a very nice stay. Most everything was good, but we were disappointed to find that there was no spa, and we were hoping for spa treatments. Also, nowhere in the room did I find a room service menu or a form to fill out and leave on the door for breakfast. There were no robes in the closet, and no washcloths. I also noticed that when we walked into the lobby, that heavenly fragrance that we have come to associate with the Westin was missing. So were we staying at a Westin Lite? Westin Express? I hope that you're not lowering your usually high standards.

TV's work off satellite TV, so if there's bad weather they won't work. Bathroom was not stocked with shower gel or soap. All in all not impressed for a "Premium" brand hotel.

Check into my room around 9:00 p.m. drop my bags off and went out for a few hours came back and went straight to bed when I woke up the Sun was shining bright to the window and I had lights on and I can see how dirty and filthy through was along with the bathroom the room was $650 it's pretty shocked there was food crumbs everywhere, and pubes all over the bathroom and with all that I let them know about the dirtiness when I was leaving the next day and the lady credited me 3,000 points to my rewards account which is equivalent to about $24 and this place does not include a continental breakfast but you have to pay for your breakfast I would not recommend.

The Westin is a beautiful hotel conveniently located near a variety of restaurants, activities, and just a short distance from the beach. The property was clean, and my overall experience was excellent. I would absolutely book a stay here again in the future.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival to our room we were greeted by the kindest staff member named Nana. She made sure we had everything we needed in our room. She understands the value of customer service and is an incredible asset to the Westin team.

For the price, the rooms lack being modern updated. Smudges from dirty fingers were noticeable on the textured wall. None of the trash cans in the room had any bags in them. When we requested an additional blanket the one received was as thin as a sheet. And at check in hours 3/4:30 timeframe housekeeping was still turning rooms and your luggage trolley and their cleaning carts lack adequate space in the hallway and creates an inconvenience and congestion.

The only complaint was the parking. Although it was free, it was a parking garage and it was very narrow. And if they have a big event going on parking was hard to come by. I drove around the garage for 45 mins trying to find a place to park

Good location for a weekend trip to Virginia Beach

Excellent place to stay to take advantage of the theater, the shops and the restaurants. Room was space and clean, comfortable beds. I don't give it five stars because it doesn't have amenities like bathrobes, shower caps and vanity sets, etc. The parking garage is free and attached to the hotel which was nice because it was cold. The front desk staff was very accommodating and nice. Shohn, Megan B, Amy and Angie were great!!!! We ending up getting another room for one of our party and they were fast and got us a room on the same floor.

Our stay was very relaxing and comfortable. We love staying at this hotel when we are in the area. We have never been disappointed.

Well, let me see if I can submit that real quick.The room wasn't clean.The phone was broken.They were supposed to be fixed the next day and they were offered me.A different room beneath the room was as nice as the one I had. The shower gel fell out of the wall.They didn't fix it and fell out of the wall again and cut my foothe hair dryer was discussingly dirty.Or clean it. The bathtub wouldn't hold water and maybe and they didn't fix it. Andy tried her very best to make me happy.Moving me to the different room that was a bit nicer. Restaurant menu very limited and they were constantly out of stuff. Handrails were missing out of the elevator after 2 days.It still wasn't fixed. Overall extremely disappointed from an high rated hotel being very dated and dirty. They did compensate me one night and upgraded my room one night. But I don't think I will ever stay there again.

The staff were, without exception, excellent. The hotel is a bit dated. No morning coffee was available downstairs, except Starbucks, which was $2.50 per plain old coffee. So for those that are averse to using in-room machines, tough. Plain coffee should be free for hotel guests as it is at most every hotel, even if at the in-house Starbucks. The bed was not comfortable. It was apparently not a Marriott mattress (the Westin is a Bonvoy prop) or it was a very old one with little support. Upon checkout there were no luggage carts available. The wait was uncertain, so I loaded up the wife and myself and hefted it all down ourselves. All-in-all one should expect better from a Town Center hotel carrying the name Westin.

It was My family and I first time staying at the Westin Town Center VA Beach. My daughter graduated college and we stayed 4 days 3 nights. We asked for early check in and it was provided with no problem. The staff was EXCELLENT. I also had the pleasure of meeting Maggy front desk Supervisor who greeted me by last name ( which you don’t find too often at hotels ) . It let me know that staff takes pride in and is paying attention to guests and their individual needs. The staff greeted us with smiles every time they seen us and showed sincere happiness for my daughter’s Graduation. I want to thank Meagan who assisted with my early check in to decorate our room before my daughter arrived. Definitely looking forward to going back. Thank you so much to all the staff at the Westin you guys rock! 😊

The Westin is centrally located in the Virginia Beach town center. We stayed for three nights during Thanksgiving. Due to spending time with family and going to bed late we needed to sleep in, so we were still in the room when the house cleaning staff arrived around 10am every morning. Unfortunately we had to ask them to come back, so our room didn't get cleaned any day--other than that we had a nice stay.

In town for a wedding. Great experience overall

At two a.m. I went in search of a soda machine. The front desk attendants told me there weren’t any, but they could sell me a can from “the back”. I agreed, but then they informed me I could only pay cash. No card and no room charge? Since I didn’t have cash they directed me to a 7-11 two blocks away and told me to “put up my hood because it’s cold out”. Simply put, this hotel lacks any and all customer service. It is a beautiful, clean and comfortable hotel. Sadly it is in dire need of employee training.

Our go-to hotel when staying in Virginia Beach. Easy access to the highway and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Hotel amenities with gym, pool and onsite restaurant are wonderful. Best memories made here at the hotel!

Great location, steps away from the Sandler Center. Check-in was relatively quick but the elevators were malfunctioning and we couldn’t get to our room until escorted there by a front desk employee. The room was spacious, clean and quiet, but when I wanted to tip the housekeeping staff, I couldn’t get the ATM to give me money and the front desk suggested I go “buy something” at the Walgreens and get some cash there. Didn’t have a chance to eat at the hotel restaurant but the woman serving at the Starbucks kiosk was delightful

The Westin did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and helpful. The check in was quick and the room was clean and comfortable. We will be staying there again the next time we’re in VA Beach.

A very relaxing stay. The location of the hotel wasvery easy to get to. I got a little confused about the parking but i found it. The chrck in process The was quick. The room was phenomenal 😍. I love the fact that they provided lavender roll on for your wrist at night. The bed just had me melting away when i went to sleep. The food was great at the restaurant. If you didn't want to eat at the hotel there were restaurant walking distance from the hotel. The staff suggested a few items from the menu. I had chose the fish and chips. It was delicious. So if you looking for a place to unwind and relax i would definitely suggest to go here.
