Hampton Inn Raleigh / Town Of Wake Forest

Upon arrival, I was informed that the room type available did not match what I understood I had booked. The hotel advised me that I would need to stay in the assigned room for the night and that they may be able to accommodate me the following morning. Unfortunately I was told that there wasn’t any availability of the room I wanted but right after.was told that since I booked through a third-party, they were not allowed to change my room, which was confusing. 2. I’m pet friendly but the last night of our visit was horrible. They placed a dog next to our room and the dog barked from the time they checked in Sat around 6pm, until we left around 10am Sunday Morning

The shower floor was dirty:moldy. Had to purchase a new pair of shower shoes. Staff was professional and warm. Breakfast was great. (Missed bacon ! ) You are my go to location for family friendly stays wherever I go. My late husband was a travel agent. How can I get his loyalty points added to mine? The stay April 2025 was his service weekend.

This place was Fantastic.. The Staff Was All Very Professional. Everyone Was Really Helpful.. And Always Greeted You With A Smile And Were Ready To Answer Any Questions I Had About Where To Go And What To Do.. The Whole Staff Cared About Making my Stay Comfortable And relaxing. The room was quite clean to the point I smelled the cleaning solution. The staff was accommodating since I my card no longer has the swipe magnetic strip and the staff found a manual way to input my card. I really appreciate them working with me. The amenities were standard and acceptable.

Room was clean but no changing of towels or dumping trash or any other service of room until the fourth night I was there. Breakfast was Ok. Hotel is in out of the way place but because of that it was very quiet place.

The entire staff during my stay was welcoming and accommodating. Lala, the housekeeper, was exceptional as well. She made sure we were okay with supplies. And the room was very very clean and fresh upon entering. The breakfast, omg, was so good....a different protein each morning for the 3 days I was there....a variety of breakfast foods to choose from. So worth the stay here. I would stay here again if I get the opportunity to visit N. Carolina again.

No complaints regarding our one night stay. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast offered several choices and ample seating. Staff member checking us in, who we interacted with several times during our stay, was welcoming, personable, efficient and the reason I would definitely return when in the Wake Forest area. I booked two rooms, one suite, one standard room for a family party that was in Wake Forest. Both rooms were dated, terribly worn and dirty. The couch and chair were some dirty and disgusting they should be thrown out. There were unidentifiable stains all over them to the point where we didn’t even want to touch them. The carpet was stained and sticky so we always kept our shoes on and even during the night to go to the bathroom we put them on. The bed and towels had hair……just terrible. When they didn’t come to clean our room and we wanted to shower, they told us they “ran out of towels” and gave us pool towels. I do not recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here before it’s clean and the amenities are wonderful. The staff welcomes you with a beautiful smile, super friendly and professionals. The room clean, bed fresh soft sheets. The thing that was an HuGE issue was the smell of the rug. As soon as we entered the room the smell of the carpet was obvious. Smell too dirty and was dirty. A new flooring should be replaced the old rugs. It doesn’t matter how much shampooing and covering up with fragrances you can detect the bad odor. You get two towels only so if you need to wrap up your hair you need to bring a shower cap.

Everything from the time we checked in until we checked out was wonderful. Grace texted me everyday just to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. Quite and clean just what you would expect from a professional hotel.

We enjoyed so much the accommodations- the breakfast choices were great- our room was wonderful! And we park in handicap and we didn’t have to go far!

At check in, staff at the desk was a bit distracted but otherwise very nice. We pre-booked and prepaid online. The room was clean, but VERY outdated. The King bed mattress was lumpy and uneven. The furniture was very old and the fabric covered sitting chair and stool looked filthy. The bathroom fan sounded like a jet plane engine. The breakfast area was very clean and the food was good. Polite staff and sufficient parking spaces. I would not visit again until their rooms are updated.

If we go back to area we will definitely stay there.

The staff, during all shifts, were so happy and welcoming to us! Will stay again. Room was tiny for my husband, who gets up at 5 am, and me, the 7:30 girl!

The furniture is aged and has a lot of wear and tear, at least in our room. While the bed was comfortable the couch was uncomfortable to sit on.

The staff was friendly. The hotel was quiet. Plenty of parking and comfortable sleeping. Gym was nice, too!

Breakfast There was a small dead bug on the bed. On the foot of the bed (left side) there was a sharp iron hanging out. Not safe for kids. The halls smell moldy

Walls are EXTREMELY thin. We were on the 2nd of 3 floors and heard everything very clearly around us. It was unbelievable. I informed staff that I would be checking out and moving to another hotel and said ok. They were not apologetic, I took it as this was a common problem.

The room was very nice and clean for the most part. The mini frig needs to be sprayed out with bleach to get rid of the mold in the back. The front desk was very friendly and responsive. We had an issue with our door twice and they came up immediately both times to fix it and were friendly each time. We would stay here again.

Hotel is advertised as pet friendly. Pet tolerant is a better description. Even though my dog is cleaner than my grandkids, they charge $75 for a dog. Where my grandkids would have been free

Anytime someone was smoking outside, the smell came directly into our room.

The hotel staff was very courteous and welcoming. The room was clean and amenities were plentiful.

We stayed in a King studio suite and found it to be nice and roomy with the separate sitting area

My wife and I are in our late 70s and that’s where they put us. We also had a couple of dogs with us. So when we had to take the dogs for a walk, each trip included about 300 yards of walking inside the hotel. Won’t make that mistake again!

Got to the hotel and our room was changed from 2 doubles to 1 king bed. Without my permission. The Hampton inn was not able to switch it back. We paid for 2 doubles and end up getting 1 king bed.

The staff at wake Forest couldn’t be better. They were friendly and great representatives for the Hampton Inn. The room, as well as the hotel in general could use an update. The bed was hard and squeaky.

Rooms are just too small for the price . You only clean the room every other day. For our cleaning day they made one bed not the other bed in the room and Changed towels. No new glassesor coffee

Convenient for Wake Forest and RDU. Comfortable and clean. Property needs a 'refresh' as it feels dated. The breakfast area, which I did not use, was not appealing and seemed perfunctory.

Check in and out was very easy with a very friendly front desk staff. Our room was clean, comfortable and well stocked with coffee and soaps. Breakfast was really good with lots of selections both hot and cold. The complimentary water in room and cookie at check in is a nice touch. Overall Excellent. Thank you.

We stayed in a handicapped room. The room was extremely tight for the wheelchair. The bathroom had no a/c vents and that caused it to feel very warm and stuffy when the door was closed. The hotel is older with popcorn ceilings, but it is kept very clean, bed was comfortable, and the staff was awesome!

There was a large dead roach in our room. I was told someone would come spray the next day, no proof that happened. The bathroom floors were sticky. My youngest accidentally wet the bed. I let a gentleman know at the front desk the next morning. Came back and the beds had all been made… but sheets had not been changed and were still wet. I called down for new sheets and 45 minutes later went down and was told they had forgotten the room number. Christy at the front desk was great and helpful, the only positive part of our stay.

Hotel room was good and clean no odor. Staff was great and helpful with everything! Only negative was getting multiple phone calls from another room at 1am and nobody there when we picked up..creepy. Called front desk and they said it wasn’t them. Then there was screaming in the hallway for people to “go the f**k to bed” Overall it was fine but some weird people staying there and we noticed the back door had been propped open with mulch to allow anyone inside. Staff was quick to address our concerns however probably won’t be back.

I thought the Mountain Views were nice and, property did have caution flagging in one area but that could’ve been for remodeling purposes.

My room didn't quite meet Hampton Inn's usual standards. It felt dusty, and the AC emitted an unpleasant sock-like smell. The bathtub wasn't properly cleaned, there were still strands of hair, and the shampoo bottle was empty. Nonetheless, the bed was neat and clean. No one cared despite my asking to change the room. What surprised me the most was the housekeeping policy – they only clean the room when the guest is not inside. As someone with a tight work schedule with back-to-back meetings, getting my room cleaned was difficult. They were strict on this policy, offering me the opportunity to use the lobby, which was not possible given the nature of my work. Never in my whole life have I encountered such a weird policy, having stayed in numerous Hampton Inn and other hotels across the USA. And, despite this policy, I noticed the room was not near, the carpet was still dusty, and it hadn't been vacuumed before I checked in. What an irony. A rubber piece was near the bed, probably from a toy I had to trash. The women receptionists who work in the mornings are rude and unpleasant, whereas the ones who work at night are the sweetest and most accommodating. Overall, it was not a great experience.

Additionally, there were rubber pieces near the bed that seemed to be from a toy, which I had to throw in the trash. This policy seemed unusual to me, for a hotel in a customer-centric business, especially considering my experiences at other hotels all over the country. The morning women receptionists appeared to be a bit rude and lacked proper greetings, while the receptionist at night was incredibly warm, sweet, and accommodating.

The room looked clean as well as the bathroom looked clean but there was a very strong smell of urine in the bathroom. I tried spraying with Lysol but it didn’t dissipate. I was as not in the room much but if I had to spend more time in it I would have to have gotten another room. My last night in room 153 was almost unbearable because of the smell. I kept the bathroom door closed. Staff at the property was awesome

My room #120 had a very bad smell had to be switched to another room #112 and that room smelled bad also just a lil better then the first room very disappointed and I had no cell service and no Internet. I've stayed here several times before and never had any of these issues I feel like I deserve a refund it at least half refunded back. Will not book this place again or recommended to anyone. We were there only for a night as a mid point stop. It fuflilled our need for convenience, quietness, cleanliness & re-grouping for the next 10 hour drive.

Great place to stay, friendly staff

Location and breakfast were very good. Room was cramped but handy on the first floor. Could hardly get luggage cart into room and bath had the least counter space of the many Hamptons we have stayed at. We arrived about 11:30pm to a large party of people and a caterer bringing in more food but we were not disturbed by any noise. Never realized Hamptons allowed large parties. They seemed to be having a good time.

This was our first stay at this Hilton property. The hotel is older but the facilities were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. BTW. The hotel has a good location with easy access to major roads, restaurants, and shopping areas.

Great service and facilities

The saving grace for this property is the customer service. The front desk staff (the evening of our arrival and the next morning) were pleasant and very accomodating. The breakfast lady wss a sweetheart and she kept everything well stocked. However, the room had some issues. The water pressure was really low and shower stopped working at the end of our stay. The room keys stopped working the evening of 5/25 due to some system issue. Unsightly garbage and spare parts were piled up on the 2nd floor by the ice machine and elevator as well.

I thought the property was extremely clean. The one negative was that we received no room service for the 3 nights there. I inquired at the front desk and they said you had to request it. There was nothing noted or discussed about this. When I asked the front desk person for clean towels, he was rude and said he was housekeeping. Finally he did get me clean towels!

Loud and noisy both nights. People partying into the wee hours and tvs blasting. I stay at Hampton Inns regularly. This was my first noisy noisy experience.

This is a nice Hampton. Shower was high powered, room was clean, breakfast was delicious with lots of choices, and employees were super friendly and helpful. That being said...the bed is the real reason we pick a hotel. I look in the details for premium bedding and pillowtop mattress. Thischotel had those checked off. The pillows were cheap and flat, not premium and the mattress was hard and substandard with a topper thrown on it. It was hard and lumpy and because of that we won't stay here again. My husband has been in pain all day with muscle cramps. I woke up repeatedly all night. We stayed in room 252.

This was a one day business trip. Typical Hampton Inn has a good reputation but this was a terrible experience. The rooms were filthy, we had to change rooms because the first room they gave us had stains all over the couch (large stains like from fluids and white stains) hairs in the bathroom, and dirty carpet. It was unbelievable that they really would even try to put someone in a room like that. The next room we were given was just okay. It had stains on the carpet and the bathroom could’ve been cleaned better. You can tell the cleaning staff just does not care. The front desk managers both day and night , Maurice and Tywanna are rude. I asked for extra towels and it was like asking for a limb. Needless to say I will never return to this establishment. Major changes need to be made to the staff and to the building.

Was very disappointed tho this time with the cleaning staff. It says on there QR code explantion for info about the hotel that if you stay 4our days or more that your room will be cleaned WRONG, had to ask for clean towels after 5th day, and was told by night manager he would put on the list to have our room cleaned the next. NOPE didnt happen left the 8th day still never saw cleaning staff. Did put a garbage bag of trash outside door. All of our garbage cans where still over flowing when we left. will probably not stay next time we come there for a visit to daughter.
