Lovely property, handy to Georgetown and White House area. Sort of weird I had to keep after them to clean the room, that was the only glitch

I had a wonderful stay at the Park Hyatt Washington. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff went above and beyond to be welcoming, helpful, and friendly throughout my visit. I truly loved my experience and will absolutely be staying there again in the future.

we had higher expectations, the bathroom was not well cleaned, the food at breakfast and dinner was average.

The staff was super friendly, helpful and accomodating. One standout was Phillipe, who was the sweetest and most eager to make sure we were happy. Herman the concierge was also wonderful!! I have no issues - except for the lack of shower privacy, but other then that, I loved my room.

Staff at the front desk greeted me warmly. When I shared that it was my first time staying at the hotel (and I visit Washington DC about 12 times a year), I received an automatic upgrade! Free Peleton in the room allowed me to workout in the morning before a full day of meeting. the coffee in the room was SUPERB! Can't tell you how relaxing it is to have a cup of fresh brewed decaf - so delicious - before rest! I can't wait to bring my husband!
- 4/5
It was good. Better than after covid when the rooms weren't too clean. I still think the shower area hasn't aged well and looks dirty. There should be a bit more recognition of the guests staying there. I was a bit insulted when my server was pressing me for my room number when my son said I was staying there. Said people often leave without paying? Very strange and uncomfortable.

Bed comfort, hassle free service, incredible shower

Worth the money. Great service.

The best hotel in DC by far!
- 5/5
Excellent hotel with great customer service
- 5/5
Really enjoyed the hotel. Staff was very friendly and made me feel like at home. Amazing huge bathroom with walk in shower, very comfortable bed, had big table that was quite useful for room service. Food from room service was delicious as well. The only drawback is that you can hear ppl slamming doors in the hallway starting from like 5am, that was quite annoying, but other than that i can't complain.
- 4/5
Good and clean.
- 1/5
Horrible experience. The room was filthy. There were curtains on part of the windows and not the rest and the toilet was in the closet, literally. I asked management to contact me and they didn’t . Do not stay in room 831.

This property is not to the standard/expectation for a Park Hyatt hotel—a bit more tired/run down and no charm/IKEA look and feel.
- 1/5
They made me change my room during my stay. The TV didn’t work in my suite. The door wouldn’t open. The staff was extremely rude to me and I must admit I think they’re a bit racist. I was very disappointed. I usually stay at the hotel all the time at this time I was as a third class citizen. This is not supposed to be the way of five star hotel she retreated I moved hotels to the salamander which is a five star hotel, which actually should be seven stars. They treated me like a king when I entered I entered my sweet cup of tea was waiting. That’s the way I deserve to be treated not the way I was treated by the Park Hyatt. I highly recommend you do not stay at the Park Hyatt

The Park Hyatt is a wonderful property. Our room was outstanding, especially the bathroom. After reading other reviews, I knew to ask that a refrigerator be placed in the room. The pool and hot tub were nice. I loved the morning and afternoon tea and coffee service with the choice of newspapers. Overall, the experience was excellent. I cannot wait to return!
- 4/5
Everything was great. Great service, great amenities, great staff. 4 out of 5 stars. The dinner is just overpriced. I would have liked to try multiple things.

- 5/5
The Park Hyatt is a great hotel in a lovely neighborhood, and with a terrific pool. Service was uniformly excellent. But it has held on to the irritating habit (now abandoned by most top hotels, especially in European cities) of having a minibar that, if you move an object (say, to cool the bottle of room-temperature water that is provided to guests) you are immediately charged. In my case,$49, which I happened to notice on my electronic checkout. The woman at the front desk kindly removed it from my bill, but it’s a nuisance that guests shouldn’t have to deal with. There is a notice in the room that a refrigerator could be provided at request, but I don’t want a whole refrigerator just to cool a single bottle of water.

Stayed in the junior suite. The most impressive is the bathroom. Absolutely love the show and the spa tub.
- 2/5
- 3/5
Super nice but our room withbdouble beds was really really small
- 5/5
Recently stayed for a family event and I forgot my cell phone charger. The hotel loaned one to me and saved the day! Our large group utilized the restaurant for breakfast and the bar for afternoon snacks and cocktails and late night after dinner drinks and the staff was courteous and everything was lovely. I highly recommend.
- 3/5
The staff was fantastic! However the property needs works. Nothing worked! From the machines in the gym, to the lights in the room. Also, I was charge for parking and I didn't have a car! Great staff, but I wouldn't stay at the hotel again.
- 5/5
The dining options were excellent, and the service at both the restaurant and lounge was wonderful. The exercise center and the pool were exactly what I was hoping for—located away from the main area, quiet, and clean, with water and fruit snacks provided.
- 5/5
Clean, elegant decor, friendly and helpful staff. Feels like a luxurious experience. Blue duck tavern was delicious. The pool was clean, comfortable lounge seating and the hot tub was the perfect temp. Overall had a wonderful stay

- 5/5
Wonderful hotel. Beautiful rooms. Staff very nice.
- 5/5
Park Hyatt was a great place to stay. Very walkable area. The rooms were well appointed and clean. Staff of the hotel were accommodating. The only small downside was the restaurant - food was excellent however service was inconsistent (not bad, just inconsistent)
- 4/5
The Park Hyatt fell short of their normal excellence. The floors were dingy and smelly. The suite that I received was worn and was weirdly set up with the toilet in the closet. The service was not five star. It’s a solid 4 star accommodation.
- 1/5
Rooms were definitely dated with many issues. Window full of blinds (4 total) that were a constant frustration to deal with. When it rained, the room leaked from the ceiling. Beds were quite uncomfortable and room was generally uncomfortable. Room Sleeps 4, with searing for 1 (single chair). This made the stay quite challenging. Wouldn’t stay here in the future. Service and location were great, however.
- 1/5
I got no sleep. They finally changed my room to the other side so I can have some peace and quiet
- 4/5
Everything was perfect except for valet. A little unorganized.
- 5/5
Check in and check out was a dream Highly recommend
- 4/5
It was a bit noisy around 3-5pm during my staying. The cleaning staff were doing their job which was understandable. However, it was too loud to rest in the room.
- 5/5
There are a few surprising quirks in this suite, that might have been solved with a better designer. (Certainly they're first-world problems). (1) You have to be a contortionist to open or close the living room shades because the bead chain is behind furniture and blinds. (2) The lights for the shower are turned on outside the bathroom, which is awkward, and made more awkward because they also turn on recessed lighting outside of the bathroom. So, it wasn't possible for me to take a shower without bothering my wife, who wanted a few minutes more of rest.
- 5/5
Always the perfect Hotel!
- 5/5
A lot of homeless there was literally human poop at the outside of the vulding
- 5/5
Sound isolation could be better. I could hear the room next door.
- 5/5
This place is really nice. I appreciated the level of service, particularly the “turning down” preparation of the room.
- 5/5
The property is very beautiful when you walk in. It gives a very upscale hotel feel. The staff at the check in/out counters were very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Everything was great! A bit noisy at night (street noise) - usual for a big city.
- 5/5
Everything was good and comfortable.
- 2/5
I felt 3 or 4 stars hotel because I was not provided 5 stars hotel services. When I arrived, the doorman watched me, but he omitted to take me inside although there were any other guests around me. I was not provided turn down service for day 1 and 2. I told a manager about these experiences when I checked out and his response was appropriate at that point. However, when I left the place with luggeges, doormans and/or porters disregarded me in front of the entrance. They were chatting although I passed in front of them. I did not see improvement at the final, that is why I wrote this feedback.
- 5/5
Beautiful property with excellent service staff.
- 5/5
Food was excellent.
- 5/5
Great location. Safe and short distances to walk anywhere. The only downside is you must use valet parking, it is very difficult to find a park spot on the street.
- 4/5
This is one of my favorite hotels
- 5/5
We found the quality of food and service in the restaurant and bar to be excellent.
- 1/5
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! I wish I could give 0 stars. I have never experienced more disrespectful staff in my entire life. Experiencing tonnes of unprofessionalism throughout, my final straw was the wildly disrespectful receptionist MIKA, who, for the third time, spoke to me curtly and condescendingly, and when I told her not to speak to me that way, she HUNG UP ON ME! When I went downstairs to confront her about what she had done, she had the nerve to try to gaslight me and continued with her inappropriate, childish attitude. To top it off, when I left the hotel (after waiting 25 minutes for a bellman to retrieve my luggageS after I disclosed I was in a hurry), I was never given a check-out folio--neither in paper form nor by email--I was just charged blindly on my credit card without my permission or signing off. Lastly, upon arrival I asked the concierge to make a reservation at Sushi Nakazawa (omakase); he stared at me blankly and asked me to repeat the name of the restaurant as he had never heard of it before (what kind of 5 star hotel concierge isn't familiar with a famous Michelin-starred restaurant in town?) and then seemed equally confused by "omakase" which he pronounced "oh..my..case" and asked me to explain what that was. I think that says it all...
- 5/5
Can I say amazing! Everything! People, place, pool, location.. everything! Highly suggest!
- 5/5
Great location and easy walk to Metro as well as to different touristic sites. Nice restaurants a mile to half a mile away.
- 1/5
I have lived in many Park Hyatt before, this is the WORST I've ever experienced. On the first day of the stay, there was no water; on the second day, the dining didn't give us what we ordered, and just realized the problem after 40 minutes; on the thir day, no one cleaned up the room, I called the front desk for four times and finally someone sent a pile of towels by the end of the night. The cleaner came in when I was having a conference, and she began to TALK ON THE PHONE while I asked her twice to leave the room or turn off the phone. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PROPERTY AGAIN, DON"T LIVE HERE.
- 4/5
Great property with a nice restaurant but no one answers the phones when you call the front desk or restaurant.
- 3/5
I picked this hotel because of their pool and spa area. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for the whole week. They couldn't fix the damage to the heat pomp for days! Also, the doors in the guests' rooms are not sound proofed.
- 1/5
I arrived early and was told a room was available but there was an early checkin fee if I wanted the room, otherwise check in time was 3 pm. I declined and came back at 3 pm. No room was available! I had to wait until past 5 pm before getting a room. No compensation was offered proactively.
- 5/5

- 5/5
a very nice property and super personal.

The hotel staff was outstanding...

Book direct with the property and maybe you'll be put in an updated/clean room. We paid for a suite. Ours was obviously not cleaned/used in a long time nor had it been updated for refreshed furniture, carpet, window treatments, or anything else in a long time. The room was not clean - there was visible standing dust on the window treatments, the couch in the sitting area had had haphazard repairs made to the fabric that were obvious, and the windows and mirrors in the unit were not clean - had fingerprints and splash marks from who knows. We only needed the place for one night so the hotel either stuck us in this room because of the short duration of our stay, or the fact we booked it through Expedia. We were on our way somewhere else so I didn't want to get into a discussion with the staff there but it was a major disappointment. I chose Hyatt because it is supposed to be a good brand and I've stayed in the past at different properties of theirs. This was likely the last experience we'll have with Hyatt unless for some reason it is the only option available. Beyond the cleanliness issue, the hotel has no ATM if needed, no sundries store if needed, and while the onsite restaurant is nice, the menu is very limited in items and times of day that items are available. All in all, about the only positives were the front desk staff and the valet parking staff. Beyond that, there are other nice hotels available in the Foggy Bottom area - I'd choose another.
- 5/5
The quiet elegance; peaceful room; and Kyle at the front desk is consistently one of the best hotel associates with whom I've dealt. Terrific guy.
- 5/5
Great night! Worth every dollar!
- 2/5
Charcuterie & cheese had 3 pieces of cheese for $38? Dining at Blue duck was slow, took 52 minutes to bring us the second course of 2salads and 1crab cake, which we refused-lost our appetite. Waiter was distant and unapologetic. We will stay across the street at the Fairmont on our next DC trip.
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel with great amenities and excellent service by every staff member.
- 5/5
Impeccable service, outstanding food, beautiful decoration in the room and top-quality bathroom products.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 3/5
Property looking like it needs to be refreshed in common areas. Wayfinding on first floor due to covid protocols could be better. A woman walked into one of those glass barriers in the bar area because of lighting which was hard to see. I’m not a huge fan of showers without shower doors so water gets on floor. If you redo the bathrooms at the next pip put in faucets that you can actually put your hands under (they were so low). All small things but then again I am in the business so am sensitive.

Had a wonderful time at park Hyatt ,, nice modern rooms , very quiet , comfortable beds !! Great food beautiful bar ,, wonderful location ,, Will be back 👍
- 5/5
This is a nice, luxury hotel, worth the price. No major problems, other than perhaps the awesome bathtub needs updating. Also, could use 2 tvs in the junior suite.
- 5/5
One of our best stays anywhere since the pandemic!! Made us feel safe and cared for.

Great hotel in good location
- 5/5
Great location. Quiet area but walkable to many places nearby
- 5/5
Beautiful, clean, modern, and spacious rooms. Great service. Love the location. Located in a quiet street walking distance to Foggy Bottom and Georgetown. Perfect spot when visiting GWU or Georgetown U.

We've been here many times and are always very happy with our stays.

- 5/5
It was a lovely place and beautifully designed rooms.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time staying at the Park Hyatt.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed staying at the Park Hyatt Washington. I haven't had great experiences post Covid because of the service and I was very happy that this was where I stayed at the end of a family road trip for a bit of R&R. The staff is amazing the food is amazing the sweet was perfection. And I love that we were able to walk to all the local restaurant's bars and the mall was very close as well. I highly recommend The Park, Hyatt.
- 5/5
Park Hyatt Washington never disappoints.
- 5/5
Everyone was very attentive and accommodating. Was a very short stay but glad I chose Park Hyatt. I have stayed in various hotels in DC, but certainly one of the best!
- 5/5
Always enjoy the DC Park Hyatt!
- 5/5
Nothing else Thank you
- 5/5
Excellent service and also the restuarant food was delicious.
- 5/5
It was a top notch establishment with service beyond excellent
- 2/5
The room was so small. The room could barely fit the roll away bed for my son. Also, the air conditioning was very loud. It was okay, but not a great experience to motivate you to go back. The restaurant is very good, but the room service experience is not the best during COVID.
- 5/5
Clean comfortable and modern room. Service at top of their game!
- 5/5
I absolutely loved my time at the Park Hyatt Washington DC. From the moment I checked in, to the moment I checked out. During check in Javier was great! His customer service was great and he was extremely personable, he even reviewed a couple places I planned on going during my trip. I stayed in one of the city view suites and the room was extremely clean. There was also antibacterial wipes for our use. The Blue Duck Tavern breakfast was very tasty every morning. Although the spa and pool was closed due to Covid, it was still a good experience.
- 5/5
The Georgetown suite was perfect for my partner and I to have fun & get work done as well 👌 We also really loved the service as well as the restaurant downstairs. Perfect stay thank you
- 5/5
Friendly attentive accommodating staff in a welcoming atmosphere
- 5/5
My stay at Park Hyatt could not have been any better. It was honestly so perfect from the hospitality of the staff to the quality of the food. Prices for this 5 star hotel were unbeatable and the Michelin Star restaurant right below it were a plus. I will definitely be staying here again!
- 5/5
Pleasant staff, clean room and a good quality breakfast was included.
- 5/5
The Georgetown Suite did not disappoint. The BDT breakfast is one of the best in the city.
- 5/5
Staff especially Office Mgr. Paris was very accommodating to whatever we needed for the room especially with our 11yr old dachshund. They brought up a doggie bed and bowls for him. Room was very clean and spacious. Dined at the local Blue Duck Tavern which was delicious every time and the drinks were great made by an awesome bartender. This is our 2nd time in DC staying here and we will continue to do so in the future. Despite the pandemic situation, we constantly saw staff cleaning up and wearing masks and ensuring patrons are following the same. Great stay. Will come back again.
- 5/5
Paris was working the evening shift. He was fantastic ensuring my room assignment had not been recently occupied due to covid concerns and in allowing me to valet me own vehicle in the hotel section. Check-in was a breeze. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
- 4/5
The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Very good service. Nice bed and bathroom products. Getting to the workout room/spa/pool is a bit of a puzzle. The place looks like it can do with a bit of a sprucing up here and there. While leaving the room and heading to the elevator I was a bit shocked to encounter a large cockroach. That was not a great farewell image.
- 5/5
The people there were super welcoming and nice, and everything about the hotel was awesome.
- 5/5
Very nice at a decent price. First visit and was warmly welcomed
- 3/5
I was told at the front desk, that I was going to be upgraded but then they said, sorry, wrong name. I didn't ask for the ugrade, they offered and then revoked. They apologized but didn't do the upgrade because they were "sold out." Then they put us in a room directly over the pool that smelled like chlorine. Moved us to a better smelling room but no other attempt to make this interaction better. Really horrible customer service to do this.
