Breakfast was a nice perk though was a bit lacking. Scrambled eggs were good but would have been nice to have bacon or sausage instead of cut up hot dogs. Also, there wasn’t much for my wife to eat except instant oatmeal. She is gluten free and allergic to eggs. The cold cereals all contained gluten. Cheerios or corn flakes are a good gluten free option. Only gave a rating of fair for cleanliness as we found bugs in the bathroom. Staff was just fair. Understaffed as front desk was always unattended. We had to pick up a phone to get someone to come.

We have stayed there every time we visit that area and it has always been great, however they closed the pool which is not a dealbreaker, it's an indoor pool and we don't have time to go for a swim anyways, but they need to stop advertising it on the websites. Other than that we will stay there again next time. Thanks for being so clean

The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, it was very quiet. It was basically a good place at a good price. Definitely no extras
- 3/5
The room was decent but everything smelled awful. The whole housing walking in smelled very strongly like weed. When we got to our room, it smelled like mildew and weed. My kids had a hard time being in the lobby with the smell so strong so we didn’t eat breakfast.
- 5/5
It was an amazing stay except for the night shift staff. But maybe she is just tired. Overall it was a good and safe place to stay.

The only solution the staff member had was a small spray deodorizer that masked the smell for 30 minutes. I would rather drive 30 minutes to the closest hotel than stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and had breakfast ready early for those that needed to leave early

The staff was very friendly and sweet. Always answered my questions and did everything they could to try to fix our TV but made it right by just switching us rooms. Very quiet and clean and definitely would stay here again if we are ever back in the area. Waynesboro in general is a great quaint little town and enjoyed our stay!

Everything was as it was expected. Clean, neat and easy, staff was friendly and accomodating. No bacon or sausage with the breakfast - but it was still okay. Grateful to have eggs and sausage gravy!

Heat / ac not working properly. Had to run the ac at 60 to keep the room at a comfortable temp even though it was 30 degrees outside. Very odd.

Room was slightly dirty. Tv didn’t work right. No towels and no shower curtain
- 5/5
The property was neatly maintained with a clean and comfortable room, friendly staff and ample breakfast options each morning.
- 5/5
Everything especially the bathrooms in the rooms very clean the beds are spacious so are the rooms. Oh and they have a small bar. There’s nothing not to like
- 4/5
Great views to the opposite side of the road. The place was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a few options. The front desk staff wasn’t the friendliest - almost made us feel like they were doing us a favor by checking us in and out.
- 3/5
The rooms were somewhat dirty upon arrival. Crumbs on bed and chair and floor. No toilet paper in room. No bar tender one of the nights.
- 3/5
Clean room, a lot of parking
- 5/5
Everything about this place was wonderful! Freshly remodeled, excellent staff, and a good breakfast selection. I would stay here again!

Wouldn’t stay again
- 2/5
Ants in room. Room not cleaned on arrival. Food left in refrigerator as well as trash in the closet.
- 4.5/5
Nice to be away from the main road and by a trail. Dog friendly a big plus! Clean, spacious and comfortable room with a kitchenette. No elevator. Wish breakfast started half an hour earlier.
- 3.5/5
The shower head needed to be replaced while we were there. This is something that should have been corrected before we got there.
- 3/5
The bed was awful. So uncomfortable cheap mattress. My back is still hurting
- 4/5
Nice place to stay
- 1/5
We liked the view of the deer. Some of the staff were friendly others were not. Breakfast was limited in comparison to Holiday Inn Express. Would not stay here again. Also ice machine in entry was leaking water and a sign was put there but water was standing etc.
- 4/5
Our room definitely had an odor of smoke which we really are sensitive. Should put clothes racks much higher. Dresses played on the floor when hung up. We were there for a wedding.
- 4/5
The breakfast was one of the better ones I've received at any hotel. It was well stocked and comfortable. The staff was wonderful. No issues at all. It's a small issue, but there were tiny bugs on the nightstand. Not a lot, but enough to notice.
- 4/5
Overall a decent place to spend the night while hiking the Appalachian Trail. Not too far off the Trail although you made need a shuttle to get there. The hotel is located close to Walmart and other shopping.
- 5/5
front desk staff was very professional and helpful
- 5/5
Me and my daughter came to town for a film festival so we weren’t at the property very much throughout our stay. However, the rooms were clean. The grounds was well kept and the location was near a Walmart and gas stations had we needed anything in a pinch. It was also a fairly quiet location. Staff was nice; good coffee.
- 3/5
Clean and friendly but no elevator and no one cleaned our room until our stay was over. Not handicap friendly and I feel like we paid too much for very little service.
- 4/5
Good basic accommodations. Clean and quiet. The staff were great!
- 5/5
My one night stay was great and I would surely stay there again!
- 5/5
The property itself felt very safe and secure, with well-lit parking and a clean, modern atmosphere. You can tell there have been recently renovated—the rooms and common areas were spotless, updated, and very comfortable (with the fresh "new" smell we all recognize). Whether you’re looking to quietly unwind or stay active, the onsite anenities they have you covered. The nearby stores and restaurants are also very convenient. And the free hot breakfast? Worth waking up for. The biscuits and gravy were flavorful and satisfying, and the make-your-own waffles, always fun and tasty touch that we appreciated. We’ll absolutely be back and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet, and welcoming place to stay.
- 4/5
Clean, breakfast Queen bedframe metal was sticking out, covered by bed skirt. As I was unpacking, I walked into it and smashed my shin. I made the front desk aware and had to keep an ice pack on my leg for 2 days. On file at hotel. Still hurts. Have pictures and should get a 1 night credit back.
- 5/5
Nothing
- 4/5
Up dated, clean. Google doesn’t take to address. About a block off behind Walmart Location
- 5/5
The only issue was that the bacon was inedible one day but they offered to make more but we declined as there were other options. They were also out of yogurt and the orange juice was out. The rest of the breakfasts were fine. The one day was just “off”. I’d still stay here again as everything else was great. Sorry the pool is permanently closed.
- 5/5
Friendly and clean. Currently undergoing some renovations but that didn’t interfere or bother us.
- 5/5
Nice place , kept up well.
- 3/5
biggest thing that annoyed me was the fact that there was a pool advertised when i went to book the hotel. we get there after driving 7 plus hours and the pool is not a thing and it’s gambling room. Summer bummed esp when i was looking for a hotel that had a pool that was the first one that popped up
- 5/5
Ok
- 5/5
Close to our business meeting and pet friendly.
- 5/5
Cobblestone is always a great place to stay.
- 5/5
Clean place ,but beds were horrible.
- 5/5
Excellente localizacion. Super Amigable y Servicial. El hotel es practicamente nuevo. Camas compdas y limpio. Me quedaria otra vez.
- 2/5
TV didn't work. Called front desk, said it was because of the weather. Lol. Also was not aware of the additional pet fee.
- 4/5
Overall our stay was good. There was an overwhelming smell of must however. I had to buy air freshener. Breakfast was great and staff were welcoming.
- 5/5
Very clean
- 4/5
This property is okay for a night or two but no longer. Nothing really around this facility. Needs some updating and morning breakfast is pretty lacking.
- 5/5
The property is in a nice, secluded area. Secluded being the key word. Outside of the Walmart, Applebees, brewery and Sheets, there was not a lot of food options. Overall, very nice stay!
- 2/5
Poor internet connection and speeds
- 4/5
Room was clean. Breakfast was not great; crockpot and plastic serving spoon with gravy seemed a little off for a hotel. They say there’s a bar but it’s basically a counter at the front desk with limited options. The TV didn’t work in our room and when we sat in the lobby the TV was so loud it was hard to have a conversation. No elevator so my 75 year old mom and I had to lug suitcases up 2 sets of stairs. Not worth the mo ey.
- 4/5
Pleasant stay.
- 4/5
This hotel has no elevator. Luckily we were on the first floor. The pool was out of service. We were there over a week and it was never fixed. Decent breakfast. Nice staff.
- 4/5
Would recommend this hotel, considering it's better than most hotels in the Waynesboro area. The location was great, on top of a hill. Beautiful location and Walmart and strip mall within walking distance. Found the beds for us to be very uncomfortable as they were quite soft. Cleanliness could be improved. Found dirt and grime underneath counter in bathroom and have found surfaces to be sticky. Not sure if this is due to lack of cleanliness or the cleaner their using since it seems to be on many of the surfaces. Have stayed here before and felt that the room wasn't as clean this time as the last time we stayed.
- 4/5
We have stayed at this property before and were pleased to stay again. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to meet the needs of their guests with in room microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and supplies. Love the location! Even though it is located "behind" a Walmart and shopping area, it is very rural. There is a cornfield around two sides of the entrance and the road to the property continues to farmland as well as rural residential areas, though the area directly across the road is wooded. We actually saw deer come out of the woods to graze one evening. The only negatives - and they were not an issue for us - the pool was "closed for maintenance" and the "exercise room" consists of a treadmill and exercise bike in a very small room that also contains a washer and dryer.
- 5/5
Pleasant so far, although I've only just checked in
- 5/5
Great service, very clean, comfy beds!
- 1/5
The room that i stayed in was infested with ants due to some leftover food not wiped off the walls. When i requested to move to another room, late in the night, the staff were quick to get me into another room. However, my new room had 2 alive stink bugs in it and around 6 dead ones littered on the floor and AC unit. Matress covers were also nasty and old.
- 5/5
Very clean, cordial and helpful staff, quiet location.
- 3/5
Pool wasnt working- rarely is
- 5/5
It was a great place to hang with family & meet new friends. Nice clean rooms, breakfast was good & will come back when I am looking for a quiet place to stay.
- 5/5
Beautiful setting. Friendly efficient service.
- 1/5
Worst place ever to stay at paid a good bit of money to stay for one night very strict on policy for dogs especially service dogs wasn't allowed to let dog in room by themselves room wasn't very clean the next day I always strip my bed I found blood stains Q-tips underneath the fitted sheet . There us no way they changed the bed clothes. When i told the lady at the desk she said it must have been from the last persin that stayed. Disgusting. I was supposed to have a king size bed and they gave me a room with 2 double bed because i had a service dog. I paid 198 for this horrible stay. I will never stay here again
- 4/5
Other than that? Bed was super comfortable, room clean & cozy, water pressure great- front desk service just ok.
- 3/5
Pool often broken
- 4/5
It was a nice stay
- 5/5
Nice, clean accommodations friendly helpful staff good breakfast bar!
- 5/5
Very pleasant experience overall.
- 5/5
Very nice, comfortable and clean. Friendly staff. We would stay again.
- 5/5
Staff were absolutely wonderful. Check in was quick and simple. Room was clean! Great Service
- 4/5
Looks brand new. Site and rooms are very clean and comfy. Area is nice and quiet. Easy to get to most of Waynesboro. If ever in area would stay again.
- 2/5
This hotel is a complete rip off! There are only a couple of options in this area and I went with this one because of the reviews. It was over $200 for one night and was not worth it at all. There were bugs in my room, see photos, the room smelled like mildew and the bed was not very comfortable. The sheets and towels were very scratchy. The water pressure in the shower was so hard it was painful and there was no way to change it. I was in Waynesboro because my dad was in the hospital and this just added insult to injury.. I would NEVER stay here again.
- 5/5
We've stayed here multiple times and every time it was nice.
- 3/5
I have stayed at the Cobblestone many times and the last few times it has gone downhill. The rooms are not the cleanest with stains on the walls. I think it is time that they do some painting and upgrading. The staff is always very friendly especially considering they are usually there by themselves doing everything.
- 4/5
Nice people who worked there and very clean
- 3/5
This is an old hotel. No elevators and the bedding was not very plush. Disappointed with the breakfast choices.
- 5/5
Lovely and refreshing
- 4/5
We always stay at the Cobblestone when visiting family in the area. However, this time we noticed a few things that were different. Our room wasn't cleaned. I inquired at the desk and was told we had to request maid service. I didn't care about the bed-making, but we needed towels. The attendant at the desk had towels sent to our door. Also, the complimentary breakfast is very limited.
- 5/5
Room size was exceptional (very clean) and so was the Sunday breakfast! They even had a small bar to enjoy after we returned from our event one night. Staff very friendly too.
- 3/5
All said we liked the location and the motel in general and probably will stay there in the future.
- 5/5
Staff was very nice & helpful. Room was clean & well maintained. Surrounding area is beautiful.
- 5/5
NO SWIMMING AVAILABLE
- 5/5
Pool was closed in room safe didn't work light bulb was out other than that facilities were nice
- 2/5
I was there in October and the room we were given had not been cleaned. This time the walls were quite dirty and there was not a shower curtain.
- 3/5
Convienent, shopping
- 5/5
Very clean with ample parking. Breakfast was included but there wasn't much to choose from but for the price, we would stay again when passing through
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Everything looked and felt well taken care of
- 3/5
The bottom sheet would not stay on the bed and kept exposing the heavy plastic bed protector.
- 3/5
I lived in Waynesboro for 15 years and then moved to Savannah. I came up for the holidays. I was on room 119 on Saturday and Sunday. November above me was a group from social services apparently nothing nothing prejudicial, but they kept me up all night for about 2 o’clock running back-and-forth, dropping things on the floor, making my sleep pattern miserable then they were up again at 6 o’clock in the morning doing the same thing I was trying to sleep till 10 because I had a long day ahead of me with some friends if I hadn’t had my suitcases, unpacked a little bit more than I usually do, I would’ve packed up my suitcases and gone to another hotel. I was very very upset. I thought Cobblestone was going to be terrific had great results from all my friends that I’ve been there, but my stay was terrible . I have to come again in the spring and I’m really questioning my commitment to Cobblestone. I try to spend my money wisely because I’m on a fixed income, but I might have to rethink my choices.
- 5/5
So clean, staff was very helpful. Location is perfect. What a gem!!!
- 3/5
A quick overnight to assist AT hikers hiking the MD part of the AT.
- 4/5
Clean hotel with a great front desk associate!
- 4/5
I liked the convenience of the hotel, the room was clean and comfortable. The shower was nice and refreshing. The price was reasonable and my family liked the included breakfast especially the make your own waffles. The pool was nice but my husband thought the water could have been warmer and more inviting.
- 5/5
Nice room good place to stay
- 5/5
Very clean and pleasant staff!
- 3/5
Had to be moved to a room as the fridge had something left in it and was never cleaned out
- 4/5
Cozy hotel
- 3/5
Clean facilities and friendly staff, but the room had a bad smell.
- 3/5
Liked the Beds Disliked the lack of cleanliness in room
- 5/5
It was close. To. Our family function
- 2/5
The staff was incredibly rude. The amenities were a joke. What was served in the morning was neither continental nor breakfast. It was disgusting. Never again would I stay here
- 5/5
Busy Memorial Day weekend, everything was great 👍
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, quiet A/C unit
- 4/5
King suite was very spacious
- 2/5
This place is nice, but not worth the $180 per night. I was hiking in the area and booked this hotel for two nights, they saw that I was a hiker and gave me the "Hiker Room" even though I paid for a "Regular Room" without the hiker discount. Room smelled like ramen noodles and the mattress was horrible.
- 5/5
Lovely staff, clean room, and great location close to the Appalachian Trail in Pen Mar.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, accommodated request for first floor room after second floor had been assigned
- 3/5
The room was nice, beds were comfortable. We stayed 3 nights and no one from housekeeping checked with us or our room to see if we needed anything. No clean towels, no coffee restocked, nothing. Pool was nice and there was a cart of pool towels in the pool area. There were two towels available the first day but that was all. The cart was not restocked at all over the weekend. Breakfast offering was great and well stocked, thanks to the night shift staff. Once day shift comes back on its all down hill. Its a shame, the lazy staff on one shift ruined the whole experience. Otherwise this could have been a 5 star review.
- 3/5
No rollaways. Convenient location and plenty of parking.
- 3/5
The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. Our room smelled awful, I alerted the front desk of the heavy pot smoke odor. Indoor pool was unfortunately too cold for my kids to swim in which was the whole point of our stay.
- 2/5
Pro’s: we were able to check in before 3pm, Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and the indoor pool was accessible.
- 5/5
My experience with hotel's stays since Covid hit has been very negative. In particular the room conditions (lights, TV's, HVAC, etc.) not working in conjunction with poor service has become the norm. Cobblestone however was like the "days of old". The sight was very clean. The rooms were in excellent condition and the management team were smiling and very friendly.
- 4/5
I have stayed 3 times in 4 years, mainly for location for a yearly trip. Hotel Pros have been Cleanliness, Location, and Comfort, GREAT Belgian waffles. Speaking of breakfast... Cons were unfortunately, the breakfast food could be updated. OJ machine was broke but there weren't any alternate OJ CONTAINERS as replacement (Walmart is about 100 feet away) only water. There was a note (that's it) "stating due to COVID, rooms will be cleaned UPON REQUEST, something like that might need to be verbally stated. Would return, but would like to give FANTASTIC review, but at this time just cant.
- 5/5
This is a pretty generic hotel. We stayed one night for a family event. It was everything we had expected. The staff is ver helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Clean and quiet location. Would stay here again. Great place to stay in waynesboro pa.
- 4/5
Great walking trail at the property. Convenient to stores and restaurants.
- 4/5
Clean facility and nice breakfast arrangement. Utilized for traveling for work.
- 5/5
Great place to stay friendly staff snd nice rooms good breakfast
- 4/5
Quite and quaint! But they he beds were not comfortable at all and the bathroom could have been cleaner!!
- 3/5
The beds werent really comfortable. They felt like lumpy air matresses. The pillows were old and lumpy. The lady at the desk was nice though.
- 5/5
We had a very pleasant stay. Clean rooms, friendly service. We had a small issue with the tv and the front desk attendant came right down when we called and fixed it himself! Although they don’t have an elevator, they had plenty of accessible rooms on the first floor. I use an electric scooter and had no trouble navigating there room. We would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Great location, free breakfast
