Staff was friendly, nice location. The hotel itself was terrible. Bathroom door was broken and unable to open/close. Moldy showers. Previous guests food left in the microwave that clearly wasn’t checked or cleaned. Sink took about an hour to drain. Half the lights didn’t work/ burnt bulbs. Overall it was fine for what was needed, but would never go back or recommend to a friend.

Rude. Missed a day of cleaning my room. When they did finally come late the next day, they didn’t do anything apart from empty a trash can. Left the beds unmade, dumped a pile of towels on the surface all bunched up and had hairs on them. The housekeeping staff were also lined up in the morning at the coffee stations getting drinks and would not move out of the way for the guests. No printer in the Business Centre, had to ask front desk to print some papers off for me. Front desk staff and Manager were great. Would not stay here again.

I made the mistake of moving the floor lamp in my room. When I did, its base left behind a perfect circle of clean carpet, making me realize that the carpet was supposed to have white in it, not just dark brown and blue.

The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Some broken tiles here and there. Bugs here and there on carpet in hall. Pillows were air and nothing else.

The elevators smelled horrible. The bath tub needs work. TV placement is a little bit hard to see from some angles. No usb ports for charging devices.

Hotel is clean with very comfortable beds. The location is perfect and convenient for dining and sightseeing. Will stay here again in the future.

The staff was amazing, extremely friendly and professional. From front desk to cleaning staff. The gym however was not really well kept and the equipment was weak, some not working, the pool was literally broken and that was not divulged during booking process. I would not return to the facility but I would hire the whole staff.

Overbooked the room we requested since we have kids we needed two beds . Once we got to our room we had to use the pullout sofa that they also failed to provide the bedding for . No WiFi . Didn’t mention the pool was shutdown due to resurfacing which is a long period so it should’ve been noted in the booking .

Th hallway smelled terrible, the elevator was hot and also smelled bad and the pool was under construction—which they don’t tell you when you book. It was also in an area with tons of other hotels, across the huge 8 lane road from a very nice open air shopping mall and you COULD NOT walk there. There was no pedestrian cross walk or lights, so it was incredibly dangerous walking over there for dinner. Ridiculous and unsafe.

Things I didnt love: the flat pillows! Those poor things had no life left. I was also next to an adjoining room (I dont love that aspect) and was awoken at 6 AM one morning to a very loud woman in that room. The parking lot is kind of weird and shared with other hotels. Navigating through it was a bit challenging. All in all - great stay and great price for where it is ;)

It’s was okay there were significant stains on the cough and fold out bed. Also when I left to go out for the day and returned the tv was on and had someone else’s name on it. I asked staff about it and I was told that the cable boxes were in the wrong rooms and that I could check my belongs to make sure nothing was missing. That they could move me to another room if I wanted.

The room was fine, the shower door got stuck while I was inside. I was there for about 10 minutes before I was able to pry it open.

Bathroom sink faucet was falling out, armrest on office chair was damaged and had sharp edges, room was scuffed and dinged up on most walls. The room we had was next to an exit and the door and would make a loud noise every time someone used it in the morning, woke me up all morning. Staff was great! Breakfast was well stocked and fresh.

Room was dirty. No added accessories like shower cap, lotion, etc. in room. Washer and dryer not working. Pool is not heated. I am being charged a continual pending charge weeks after I have checked out. Terrible customer service.

The pictures are old or fake. The picture of pool taken 6 days ago was completely different. Children's sprinkler apparently was just broke recently. Room was dirty. Tried for 5 days to get sheets changed. We were hosting my son's wedding rehearsal dinner for 6 people. I had arranged catering but could not have a guarantee regarding a clean room. We had to cancel! I have pictures of one bed made the other left undone. I begged every day. Don't waste your money. No way Marriott standards are met here. Super 8 motel is more welcoming!!!

Perfect location between Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach.

We were assigned a room adjacent to the main lobby, and the noises from the lobby, the ice machine, and people walking in and out was enough to wake us up several times. In addition to that, the fire alarm went off while we were preparing for checkout, and my daughter was in the shower. This set us back and also disrupted the breakfast service. We felt rushed and were unable to eat a hot breakfast due to the lack of food available for the hour following the fire alarm evacuation. Finally, there were small bugs in the bathroom of our hotel room and trash left in the room. When I spoke to the desk attendant about the issues we had, he made excuses for them and was not particularly helpful. Although the location of the hotel is perfect, and the room size and furnishings are ideal, I will plan to stay somewhere else on my next visit.

Great location and property!

We liked that the hotel was centrally located from the airport, downtown, and the beach. Staff was friendly, the beds were probably the most comfortable rest I’ve had in years. Our 3-night stay would have been ideal had there not been loud after-wedding parties in the lobby two nights in a row. Our room was on the ground floor and steps away from the front desk. Listening to one of the parties hoot and holler for hours with no end in sight, at 11:45 pm I complained face to face at the front desk after no one at the hotel picked up my calls. It was so loud that the front desk could barely even hear me from all the noise behind us. The front desk said there was not much she could do about the noise except ask them to keep it down. Well, okay and thank you. The hotel did manage to break it up, but will not be staying at this location again.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff, especially Redina at the front desk, was so helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was good as well. Recommend this place for a good quick stay after the beach.

The shower had a used wash cloth hung on top of the shower curtain (maids obviously didn’t clean or noticed. There was trash under our bed when we moved the beds together for one night for the comfort of our toddler. They had no cereal left for breakfast (the only thing my toddler wanted). The service lady was kind and said there’s a shipment coming in today but they were all out due to the July 4th weekend rush. We asked for towels one night over the front desk call phone. The service lady said she would try to get someone up there but they may have left (called at 9pm). The next day my husband went to the front desk and asked for the towels, they said they ran out and doing loads now. Please back in an hour. The pool looked much bigger and cleaner in the pictures, do not be fooled , you’ll have a good time of about 30 mins with the amount of limited chairs and layout areas. There was only one elevator working the whole time (usually two). Made it inconvenient for me being pregnant and exerting myself with all the stairs. Lastly, when the maids were cleaning rooms - the clean rooms were easily able to walk into. Could have peeping camera placed in them easy

From the outside this property looks nice and parts of it were I guess. The lobby area was nice. The elevators worked but it was Hot and smelly in them. We had a room with two beds and a pull out couch. The beds were clean and comfy, the carpet was gross, the couch was gross, the bathroom was a decent size and the shower was nice but the mirror was broke. We had to go get our own towels. We barely saw the maid and we were there 4 nights and 5 days. The pool was also down for two out of 4 days.

Enjoyed staying here for a family vacation to Wilmington. Close to different restaurants, shopping etc, 25 mins away from Carolina Bea h and other beaches. Breakfast was average - no waffles for the buffet or assortedfruits just bananas and oranges only disappointed especially for our six year old.

Absolutely worst experience in a hotel in a very long time. We had massive problems with very noisy and extremely disrespectful people on the floor above us and they did nothing to address it, even after we called many times, went to the front desk, and went upstairs to address the people. We did not sleep at all the entire night.

Fantastic place!

The carpet in the room looked like it had never been cleaned! There were no irons in the rooms and the complimentary breakfast was one of the worst I have seen.

It was a decent hotel, not the worst and not the best I’ve stayed in. Our room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned before we got in it. The shower curtain didn’t go all the way to the top of the tub so keeping water off the floor was impossible and we used up a lot of towels to keep the floor dry. Breakfast was good, elevator had issues, pool was nice but cold. All in all it was good enough for us.

Really nice hotel only complaint is the walls were messed up when we came in and there were scuff marks or dirt everywhere and the tv station was sticky. But other than that nice area and walking distance to a lot of stuff!

Bed was nice so I slept very well. Quiet, staff was very helpful and curteous. A big plus!

We were able to get a good price, but along with that came some disappointments. The carpet, bed linens, furniture, and overall appearance of the motel looks tired. We had electric plugs that did not work and replacement of shampoo and conditioner were not in our room. The bathtub was extremely slippery and no rubber mat was provided. I must say that the check-in staff was excellent!

We got there a little after 1500, went to the beach and came back to the room around 1700 or so. Unfortunately our kid was having issues so we couldn’t stay the entire and night and next day and have to leave around 1900. Everything up until that point was great though

our tub drain was clogged, it smelled like mold, and the couch had stains on it. There was just a constant mold, smell in our room.

This hotel never fails to impress. The rooms are always spacious and comfortable. The hotel was very clean except for the gym. The space needs a bit more attention, especially since it is a place for people to go and get sweaty. Besides that, beautiful rooms with a very nice bathroom and everything very clean. Cute pool but too cold for now.

Really love the way they lay out a room. seating area and kitchenette then desk/wall to separate from bedroom and bathroom. Bed super comfortable.

Facilty looked nice and breakfast was good. The shower had not been cleaned well. One elevator wasn't working and the other elevator was making a loud crashing noise whenever it got to our floor. We took the stairs most of our stay there.

Excellent hotel check in, lobby, breakfast, staff, location but Pool area needs to be cleaned. The pavers around pool had weeds coming up, not one umbrella for shade in this Sun & the light by chair area had a large Banana spider web with huge spider that could of been poisonous & bite someone if you didn't see it & messed with web. Tables & chairs area could be up graded & just clean with trash empty etc. Pool was nice just area not inviting. We were there 3 days & spider still there when we left

The location of this hotel is great. We have stayed here multiple times and the quality has not decreased. The surroundings keep getting nicer. Staff is very friendly. The breakfast service is VERY modest but the dining area is clean and enjoyable.

There was a cockroach in our room

There was blood in the elevator. I reported it to different people and no one cleaned it up. Two days later upon checkout it was still there. Overpriced hotel for what you get. Unfortunately it is extra convenient.

The hotel is right across from Mayfair Town Center so there’s alot of dining options, ,shopping, cinema and bookstores. Also, it is 15 minutes from Wrightsville beach

Stood at only offers room service for making the bed cleaning the bathroom vacuuming every other day. As well as towels. There are no amenities in the room they gave you shampoo, conditioner, and soap. No glasses they claimed they do a lot but they do less. The coffee pot look like a children’s coffee pot, it would be impossible to handle. The only thing I could say about the hotel the breakfast brunch was good and staff members were nice. For the amount of money I had to paid due to Expedia. I would never use them again nor would I ever use this hotel again. It’s not cheap people, but Expedia makes you believe it is and then makes you feel you made the mistake with the booking and to see that you paid double for the hotel when you attend.

Several things (ice machine, computers, etc) were always out-of-order. We were not informed that housekeeping visits only every other day (not fun when you get back to your room at the end of the day and the place is just the way you left it). Complimentary coffee in lobby was ONLY available on Sundays. Parking was either $30 at hotel or 2-hour meters in neighborhood.

Property seem run down need of a make over. Rugs need a shampoo walls need paint job. Bed is uncomfortable and breakfast is average. Best part is the location walkable to many restaurants and drive to Wrightville beach is around 20 minutes Overall rating is a 3.

Construction going on next door with workers wondering around inside the hotel loud noises all night long wish I had stayed somewhere else

We received a call at 11PM Tuesday night from the hotel and they told me that they were not able to accommodate our stay that night. Later found out that Hotels.com overbooked us and there wasn’t a room. After a long travel day, we arrived to the hotel before check in time the next day. We asked if we could check in and they accommodated us. The staff were all so friendly. The staff turned an unpleasant situation into a positive experience.

The hotel was overbooked. Springhill Suites called us a day before our visit and offered us two options - either they would comp our two night stay at a nearby hotel or they would find other guests willing to take that offer and find us a room at their hotel. We took the first option and were very happy to stay nearby for free. The woman we dealt with was very friendly, apologetic and helpful.

The bed was uncomfortable. The pillows were very small and not comfortable. The TV was in the wrong place difficult to watch.

The staff showed care and concern when I feel in the lobby area going to the restroom and bruised my elbow. The wet floor sign was up. I didn't think I would fall.Other than that, my stay was fine.
