The room didn’t have a shower curtain. The water was all over the bathroom floor. The tv was unplugged so at first I thought it didn’t work I called the office over 20 times no answer. I figured it out but then the remote didn’t work. I called again over 10 times no answer. I went to the office the clerk said he was just filling in for the owner nothing he could do. Then around 10:00 the owner came to my door by then I was ready to sleep terrible room the worst place I ever stayed. I booked it on line never again.

It was already late when I checked in & I had been driving all day... I was informed that I had to have a cash deposit for gas?!!! I did not of course have any cash, she informed me I could go to an ATM to get cash... I told her I live in AR & my bank is only in AR that I couldn’t just go get cash, nor did I know where I was going to get it since I wasn’t for there... my room was already payed for & I told her to use my card for the deposit... She couldn’t nor wouldn’t help me!!! Said my Hotel was booked with Expedia, & to take it up with them, which I booked through Hotels.com... Did not get the room & had to drive somewhere else to stay!!! Very very disappointed, if cash is needed it needs to be on their profile!!!

We ended up staying at the Green Valley Motel because every single hotel in Winston was completely booked except this one. And for good reason- the place is completely run down. I don’t usually mind a side-of-the-road older motel for a quick stay but this was filthy. The office staff did not speak much English and I had to stand in line for half an hour behind a man booking his weekly stay. I usually shy away from hotels that offer permanent residence for weekly fees because type of “tenants” they attract. Anyway the office staff slowly handled my booking and my room was small and smelled of cigarettes (they had multiple used/stained ashtrays in the room). The bathroom was small and the tub was wet when I got there. There was lots of noise outside my room the entire night. I’m still slightly worried about possible bed bug exposure.. Overall, I would not stay here again but if they made reasonable improvements I may consider it.

fair price. It's not a 5 star hotel by any means but it was nice enough. A decent place at a decent price. The guy up front was friendly and helpful. I actually dig the retro straight out of a horror movie vibe. As a photographer, it worked for me. I used the place for a few shoots.

This place was absolutely disgustingly filthy! All close places to market were booked. Dangerous location! No Wifi unless you're near the lobby. Most of the hotel without wifi. Not vacuumed room with what looks like dog hair on floor. hair on bathroom counter. Plant material in bed. I got a small cut on my back at market on a table corner and that night had a blood spot on the sheet from it. They never changed sheets in 4 nights! The next morning I put small pieces of paper on floor around room. They were never vacuumed up! Hair from shaving at the sink never fully cleaned. When I complained the owner did nothing but yell at me and tell me to leave the next day. I said, refund my prepaid room and he said no! He Wanted to fix the wifi issue by telling me to hang in the lobby at night to do my work! The bed had a ridge at the small of my back area and my back bothered me the whole time. I have NEVER had a back issue! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!

my husband and I took a last minute trip to Winston Salem to look at houses. This was the only hotel that had an opening and was under $100. We would have been better off sleeping in our car. The room smelled like smoke and the bathroom was so dirty my husband didn't shower. I turned on the water (my hair was gross. I really needed a shower) and black stuff came out of the cold faucet. I had to squat to use the bathroom. And only hot water came out of the sink. Yay for brushing teeth with hot water. Gross. I would recommend sleeping on the parking lot outside over this motel.

Aesthetically, the decor was completely out of style. The area smelled like smoke because someone in a downstairs unit was smoking. The picture online was very deceiving. There were no tissues or bath towels (we had to use the hand towels provided). We found bugs in the bathroom and near the windows. The cost was exactly the same as a Holiday Inn that provided complimentary breakfast, workout facilities, and many other amenities, as well as an altogether amazing quality. Extremely disappointed in this hotel.

No one would claim that this motel was great. It's aging. The Wifi doesn't quite reach to the end rooms. The ammenities are limited, including no complimentary shampoo, small towels and an ice machine that you have to dish out a quarter for. BUT it's exactly what you need to crash for the night. The staff was friendly enough, it's easy to find off the highway, quiet and cheap. I don't need pretty comforters to sleep and I don't need big towels to dry myself and I don't need ice in my water to quench my thirst. I was happy about the stay.

The owner is very friendly and accommodating - he let us check in at 11:30 am. The room was non-smoking, but still smelled like smoke. The place was superficially clean - floors, linens, etc - but it needs a deep cleaning and fresh paint. There is a fridge and microwave, but no hairdryer. The location is great if you are visiting Wake Forest University and the price was right (especially with a 10% discount). Not a vacation spot by any stretch, but an inexpensive, decent place to rest your head.

This Motel is rather suspicious looking as you drive up but then again its the cheapest in town. It is about 10 minutes away from downtown which makes everything else passable. The beds were clean as was everything except the left over hair behind the sink. The Fridge didn't work but we were only there one night so we didn't complain. Checking in and out was as simple as getting the key and giving the key. The clerk was short and to the point making this hassle free. I don't even think he had a computer system to speak of.

The room was decent. Clean, but old fashioned. We didn't have wifi like the webpage said. Must've been too far away from the office, where there was great wifi. Our bathroom was pretty small and the light burned out so we had to take showers in the dark with the door open. Other than that, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Can't expect much for $50 a night.
