I would not stay here again. The first night the smoke alarm went off at 2:00 a.m. We had to switch rooms. One of the two elevators was out of commission for our entire stay. On the last day they turned the water off mid-morning with no warning before I had a chance to shower. The location is nice and they had laundry facilities and free breakfast but seriously this place is falling apart.

Room was decent. A little dated. Breakfast was super busy.

The hotel is clean, staff helpful, and a nice pool with hot tub available, as well as exercise room. There is a walkway by the river, and a Mexican Restaurant right niext door. I would stay here again.

Rooms were clean. Could hear noise from floor above, as a result they gave me a another/different room on the top floor.

Price and comfort of the bed Breakfast was very limited. I was looking for a place to do some work on my laptop and the night clerk told me I couldn't move a small table (although it was out of the way) the day after another lady pointed out a small room specifically for such cases. I would of thought the staff would know a space that is right next to the check in desk.

We had a good nights rest since the bed was good and the room was quiet. The hotel is definitely in need of a renovation, though. The hall carpets were stained, one elevator was out of service, all except one ice machine were broken, the towels were thin and rough, the bathtub was terribly stained, the toilet was better suited for a preschool, and the washer and dryers have seen better days. The breakfast was limited but adequate. The price was good but next time we will pay a little more for an updated place to stay.

This stay, not so much. The clerk at check in was incredibly rude and not helpful at all. The bathroom had mold. The breakfast was positively disgusting . And my husband will generally eat anything! Needless to say, we will not be staying here again.

8 people in line and only 1 person working! Sounded like elephants in the room above us! Little to no plastic ware, cups for coffee, napkins or even food at 8:30 breakfast No one was on staff Yes it is on the river but also the freeway is right there too!!!

When I arrived at the property, the staff member was helpful. He accommodated me to a room that was clean, and with an easy access for my small dog to the back yard. The bathroom was a bit small and the toilet was low. It was hard to sit on it without losing my balance. The flush looks like it's about to overflow. The fridge under the sink looks like an in-house safe.

They put us far away from the elevator on the third floor on the outside of the building , and it was quite a long walk to the elevator.

My room had a view of the river and a nice balcony. The staff were courteous and helpful. I have some dietary concerns so the breakfast didn't work well for me. I was able to bring food and supplement with some of their items.

They closed the breakfast earlier than they said breakfast would be open til and didnt keep the food area very clean

Comfortable bed.

Our stay was comfortable. I particularly like having a room that faced the river and had grass in front so that our small dog could easily access the grass. The room was quiet and clean and the breakfast ok. Will probably stay here again.

The view was nice. The bed was very comfortable though quite high. Unable to sit on the edge of the bed with feet touching the floor ( like 6 inches off the ground and I am 5’7”.) The only really bad thing was the LOW toilets. I felt like I was back in kindergarten.

Yes, made fresh every morning and they always made sure that everythu g is filled and topped up. Yougurt, buscuit, gravy, scrambled eggs, tea, coffee, orange juice, water, fresh fruits, waffle makers, muffins. It was good breakfast

Staff was very attentive. We found a credit card in the parking lot. The person at the desk was able to identify the guest it belonged to and quickly contacted the guest to return it.

The TV flickered almost nonstop, the jacuzzi was so visibly dirty, the breakfast is just the standard continental, nothing special, and the ice machine was broken. The biggest plus to this place was the staff. They were so friendly.

The only minor issue was the breakfast, which could be improved with more variety and options. Additionally, the Toilet wasn’t fully secured to the floor, and the hotel’s older furniture needed some TLC. Despite these minor concerns, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. We would give it a 3-4 out of 5 rating.

Small room but was everything we needed for our overnight in Yakima. Bed was really comfortable and the view of the river from the room was great. Walls are very thin, but we weren't disturbed by any noise at night. Diane working reception was very helpful and kind when we were looking to do an early check in. The free breakfast was on the higher end of the standard hotel breakfast you get (we were there on the weekend so we got to enjoy biscuits and gravy), with some good variety. Location was convenient to get to and from downtown for dining options and the Sundome. We had a great morning at Single Hill Brewing/Catalyst Coffee while waiting to check in. I liked the peace of mind that you need your room key to get into any exterior door on the property that isn't the main entrance at reception.

Staff that cleans was great. Booked a king room with a kitchenette, got a queen bed teeny tiny room instead. Came for dance competition, prices were SO INFLATED. Unaffordable for the closet size rooms that they are. No accommodations and no rooms to switch out to. Not at all impressed.

We brought our pet with us, and she was completely comfortable during our stay. She especially loved walking along the river—the trail was beautiful and perfect for pets. Since we stayed in a pet‑friendly room, there was a slight smell, but everything was clean and well maintained, and we appreciated that the hotel accommodates animals. Most of the staff were courteous, and the location near the freeway made it very convenient for us. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable. I would truly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially those traveling with pets. Pet rooms are located on the first and second floors, which made things even easier.

Was okay but very noisy.

We could hear the occupant cough and sneeze. We heard the head board hitting the wall. I woke up to go to the bathroom and upon laying back down I could actually hear him snoring.

This is an affordable stay right on the river! The walls are thin and you can hear other guests and traffic. Overall the hotel was clean, the staff attentive, and was safe. There is a nice walking / jogging path along the river.

We were notified when we checked in that there was no hot water available and that construction workers would be right outside our room with a backhoe until 10:30 at night. NO HOT WATER MEANS NO SHOWER. PLENTY OF NOISE!!! The manager quickly informed me there was nothing she could do for us because we booked through Expedia. Also, this is supposed to be a non smoking property.

We checked in at 3:01 am but the day rollover happens at 3:00 so our booking was cancelled. They advised me to get a refund from you, because we had to book our own room on account of that

The hotel scene in general is too expensive these days, mostly over-priced, lacking cleanliness, poor attitudes of the hotel's staff (if they primarily even speak English)....However, this hotel proved to worthy of the Wyndham name. Good value for the price. Excellent hotel staff, all the amenities you could think of; a pretty good breakfast selection. In addition, the room was comfortable and nice and clean, premium channels and good furniture. This establishment was a pleasure to be at. Thank you Baymont Wyndham in Yakima!

Stayed 5 days. Enjoyed our stay. Took a walk along the river. Great view of the river from our 4th floor room. Place was clean, plenty of parking, Burger King & a pretty good Mexican restaurant right next door. Would certainly stay here again.

The person above us sounded like they were stomping at 5 am. I'm not sure if it was the hotel insulation or the way they were walking. We called the front desk and asked for them to let them know they were being loud but it went on until they left at 6:30.

Loved the setting next to the river -- pleasant to walk along.

Excellent WiFi. Only downside was that when doors were slammed on floor below the foot of my bed jumped. (Framing issue?) Also loud hallway noises, (doors, talking, kids) Needs better soundproofing.

Room had the worse smell and smelled like poop in the room that seem to be coming from the bathroom toilet or the shower. We came in very late and was very tired so we just sprayed perfume to be able to stand the smell and went to sleep right away. The next day we told the staff that the room had a terrible smell they said oh no, that’s not good. What room is it and said I’ll put in a maintenance request and that was it

Great location for going downtown. Our only complaint was that the LED lightning was really too bright especially on the bedside lamps.

Room was very clean and staff was helpful for the most part! We were disappointed after being a returning guest that we were not compensated for the terrible rudeness of the guest above us. They were so loud and rude through the entire night. We did call front desk and nothing helped it was all night long which kept us awake all night!

Refrigerator didn’t work properly and the floors left your feet black if barefoot. Only complaints we have. We have dogs and got the same room we had last time. Complained about the rooms floors last stay, but nothing changed. Love the rates and location though, and will stay there again. But, we WILL bring a swifter mop and cooler next time.😂😂

I love having a balcony overlooking the river. The staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast with waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage. Room was clean and neat, comfortable bed, bathroom could use a little updating, but it was clean and nice.

The room was clean and decent looking, the room had a river view so that was nice too, although the walls felt paper thin because we heard people talking and laughing outside our room, and the people in the room above us arguing and stomping their feet, so that was annoying. The AC worked great but we had to turn it on in order to drown out the noise of the people that randomly talked out in the hallway outside our room and people in the rooms next to us. The pool and hot tub were outside and nice, although we had to pull the tarp covering it off the hot tub and to press a button to use it. The morning breakfast was lack luster, there was barely anything to eat, the coffee was meh, and we overheard people talk about how the eggs looked undercooked, so we decided to leave for a restaurant. Overall, not a bad location to stay, the parking was nice, the staff was decent, and it was an alright stay if you can get over the possibility noise of others in the hall and the lackluster breakfast.

The hotel was fine but our stay would have been much better if the guy in room 143 with the dog did not have his TV extremely loud all night into the early morning. It was miserable trying to sleep without ear plugs. That was the biggest complaint

Nice hotel, clean, comfortable bed, nice staff. The only negative is room to move in the room. You can bring in the luggage cart but won’t have anywhere to put your bags or even unload. There’s just an overall lack of space. My luggage was shoved under the air con because there was nowhere else to put it unless I slept with it. Bathroom light and sink are outside of the bathroom by the front door, microwave is under the sink… just a lack of design and space. The bathroom is so tiny you have to maneuver just to close the door for privacy. It’s just too poorly designed for comfort to stay here twice.

Honestly this is one of the best locations around and it’s pretty slept on . Can’t beat the river views and greenway access. Multiple food options within a walkable distance, and a Walmart across the street.

This hotel has a great view of the river out back with benches and a walking trail. We were on the first floor, but the room was remarkable quiet despite that. There's a walmart nearby and a couple restaurants as well. Room was clean and spacious. The bathroom door is an XL exterior door but beyond that quirk it was a great stay.

The property may be older but location, walking trails. The staff very friendly. Access to freeway with 1 block. Very good Mexican restaurant on adjacent property.

Only problem was that I had my friend that was with me had to leave at 2 am as we both got to the parking lot and I returned to the front door it was locked with a sign saying we will return shortly. 25 minutes later the guy walked by the door and I knocked he walked past me and then came back to unlock the door. I had no way to reentry to the building and was locked out.

Wonderful quiet location on the Yakima River. Can’t beat that view! A walking/biking/running trail follows the river and is a great “amenity” in that area! Pool and hot tub were very nice. It’s tough to find an outdoor pool these days so that was a major attraction for me. Only one close by sit down restaurant- a Mexican one next door. It was fantastic and bigger than it looks so no problem getting in on a Friday night.

Comfortable and quiet, areas like elevators not all that clean. There were not enough towels for us in the room and clerk seemed a little put out getting me more/wrote it down. It feels like owner pinching pennies is the issue in both things.

Floors are cheap hardwood. Our neighbors were up stomping around until 4 AM so if you wish to stay here and get any sleep then only get top floor. The workers were extremely friendly and helpful though.

The service was great. Unfortunately, the people upstairs. Made as much noise as they could. The bed was too low to the ground. I am pretty tall and have bad knees, so it made it hard to get in/out of the bed.

I always stay here when I come to Yakima. All rooms offer a river view with a paved trail along the river. The time are clean, the breakfast is great, the price is reasonable.

Love that each room has a shaded balcony overlooking the river. Walking just across the parking lot for Mexican food and margarita's isn't bad, either!

Balcony nice (sun doesn't ever hit directly, so pleasant to sit outside). Slept with slider open at night for fresh air, and freeway noise surprisingly was NOT an issue. Breakfast is the generic mid-level hotel offerings- good enough for a free meal. Elevators are eerily slow... Mexican restaurant next door is awesome.

We stay here as a mid point overnight from Montana to Washington. Mexican restaurant next door is good and gives you a discount when staying. Continental breakfast is average. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable.

I like the service and that the hotel is on the river and all rooms face the river. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast is great. I needed to walk to/from the convention center a couple times and crossing Yakima Ave is very difficult and dangerous. It is a busy road with freeway ramps nearby. There is no traffic light nearby.

Every room has a view of the river and Yakima's Greenway path borders the property.

It’s time for an update. I’m certain this place hasn’t had a paint job in years. Newer flooring in the room though so that was nice. The floor by the slider was littered with dead bugs, cobwebs in the corners. Yuck. That said, they did have all the essentials.

The Baymont is a convenient location for me . The stay was very pleasant.
