We had a wonderful family weekend stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Albany! The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was great. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and the location was very convenient. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again!

Paid extra for a slip of sofa and it was unstoppable. Lenny smell spoiled. The bed ain’t worse than a hammock that the neighbors next-door were very loud very late. No respect for other people trying to sleep. The room was very hot air air-conditioning wouldn’t keep up not happy at all with my thing when I stay there again.

The staff there were very friendly helpful and kind. The staff preparing breakfast were great, the front desk staff were very polite and checking in and out was a breeze. The room was clean we had no real issues or problems and I would recommend this hotel!☺️

Had to wait until almost 8pm for a room to be available. The room that I was assigned had, let's just say, it was very obvious the bathroom had not been cleaned.

The location felt pretty safe and as far as the hotel, it was the standard Marriott experience. The pool looked nice, but I didn't plan ahead and didn't bring a suit, but the room itself was clean and pleasant.

For reference, we are a fifty something married couple. Now for my review. My husband really enjoyed the breakfast, I'm not really a breakfast person so it would not be a fair assessment if I reviewed breakfast but it was popular. Staff were very nice and accommodating, I did catch attitude when I asked housekeeping for 2 extra pillows and an extra comforter but overall staff was pleasant . The room was smaller than expected. The room phone did not work. The toilet broke but they repaired it.The mattress was too hard and the pillows were too soft so bring pillows if you like them firm. Also you'll need a blanket, they only had the comforters and its hard to wrap up in them with a sleep partner. The pool and laundry room, yes the whole room was out of order. One of the perks of staying in a hotel is the pool so I was disappointed. When amenities are out of order, they should discount their room prices because had I known, I would have stayed at another property. Disappointment at a Marriott property

The location was convenient to why we were there. Front desk rep was not present when we first arrived. The rep wasn’t the friendliest, but she wasn’t the rudest. We did not eat breakfast. We were just ready to go. We did not sleep well. Our neighbors stayed up all night. It must have been 10 people in one room…mixture of adults, kids, and a baby or two. They were up past 1am talking, playing, and disturbing the environment. I know because the noise woke me up off and on. It finally stopped of course after 6am when we had to get up. I can typically deal with what comes with staying in a hotel. I’m not one to just complain. This was

I reserved a room with two beds a week before my arrival, but when I checked in, I was informed that the hotel had sold my room. The front desk offered me a room with one bed and a sofa bed instead. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on, and the customer service throughout the experience was absolutely horrible.

We stayed at the Fairfield in Albany, GA for 3 nights. Check-in and front desk staff was fine. Housekeeping was inconsistent. Our room was not cleaned every day during our stay. Trash was not emptied, towels were not changed, and toiletries were not restocked. On one night the hotel ran out of clean towels! Breakfast was fine the 1st morning, but wasn't so great the other 2 mornings. The hotel did not provide enough food for guests during the 3 hour breakfast time. In fact, one morning they had very little breakfast because they said their food truck didn't show up. As a result, we had to buy breakfast! Our stay was disappointing for the amount of money we spent. If we have to visit Albany again, we will not come back here.

Breakfast was ok...very limited options and always seemed empty, like the rush just happened, but we were there at 7:30AM, breakfast starts at 7AM. Requested extra pillows(pillows are too soft and flatten out immediately), the staff could only find 1 extra pillow!! Really!!??? Hotel was clean, but would try different hotel if we return to area.

Our room was perfect. Very clean. The bed was super comfortable; linens and pillows were clean and fresh. Shower was hot with good pressure and hallway was quiet. Breakfast was delicious and very generous in the quantity of selections.

This property was clean, nice in general, and the personnel were helpful & competent. The only disagreeable part of our stay was the breakfast. A full hot breakfast was advertised. A full breakfast was offered, but it tasted like thawed food barely warmed in a warming dish. The coffee was hot and great. My husband had cold cereal one morning, and he said it tasted stale. Our overall stay was good; but my husband probably will not stay there again because of the disappointing btrakfast.

:Our check-in was exceptional. Our son wanted a waffle the morning of check-out and the woman who was handling the breakfast area told us that it was 9:45am and breakfast was to end at 10am; therefore, she would not assist us because she needed to clean up and she had to check people out. My husband reminded her that it was only 9:45 not 10am, to which she told him she "didn't care and she was not going to allow us to make a waffle" We left and were disappointed to have received such an ill tempered person who obviously didn't want to be helpful, but had such a warm, welcoming experience prior when we checked in the night before. This employee does not need to work with the public and if she is to continue, she definitely needs to have some training on customer service, kindness and servant leadership...because she absolutely failed to demonstrate any of those qualities and was down right rude and nasty to our family.

The deadbolt was broken, there was hair all over the bathroom floor, there was mold in the shower, the thermostat was broken, and there were sugar ants.

More irritating was the lack of receptionist for the checkin process, I had to wait for about 15 minutes becuase the manager was working to solve room problems and guest requests while attempting to checkin guests. The room service staff was also a point of irritation as they skipped my requested room service even though I interacted with the worker before i left the room for the day. Last point, the breakfast was decwnt on Friday, but for some inexplicable reason on the wknd, syrup for the waffles was switched from a typical store bought brand to some inedible non sugar concoction in individual containers. This to me was simply tacky. That said, I would not stay again and in fact due to this experience would be waybless likely to consider any Fairfield and less likely to consider a Marriott brand.

It would be awesome if you guys considered non-pork eaters by offering turkey or beef sausage patties for breakfast. What I did like were the outstanding in customer service at Guest Services and politeness of the housekeeping staff. They spoke to us every morning with a smile. I am very big on customer service. will stay again.

When we arrived we were given a handicap accessible room which isn’t what I booked. The bed is lower to the ground, there is a seat in the shower that blocks half the tub, the toilet had a ring of mold around it, shower didn’t drain so you were standing in 3 inches of water while showering and bed was uncomfortable. There were extremely noisy people that slammed doors and screamed until 2am.

Staff was nice. Pool and hot tub are closed and stunk. Only one piece of equipment worked in the gym. Chemicals stacked in the entrance. Outside of the entrance was filthy with what looks like mold growing on the building. And the elevator made a Loud grinding noise that we could hear from our room. After reading other reviews, I see that these problems have not been addressed for several months. there are several other hotels nearby, I would suggest trying one of them.

Only negative is when we walked in we greeted the employee but he didn't acknowledge us for at least a minute. I started to pull up the email to try to download the app to self check in. Then he helped us check in. There was no one else in the lobby or on the phone. He then tells us where everything is at hands is the keys & that's it. The employees at Starbucks were way more friendly than this grown adult working in the HOSPITALITY industry.
