Clean room, great customer service , and breakfast was great !

Location was great. Outside property was kept, but bulbs in the pool area were out. Hall ways smelled good. AC worked well. I reserved a one bedroom suite with sofa bed. Mattress in sofa bed was like sleeping on blanket of springs. Upon arrival, shower in bathroom was dirty and had left over residue of dirt etc. on shower floor, shower door was covered in soap scum. We had to request sheets and blanket from front after i came back from target to purchase cleaning supplies to clean and disinfect room. The room smelled very old and dirty. There was dust on counters. It felt like room 320 was not cleaned properly before our arrival. No trash bags in trash bins. We did not eat breakfast, we were down by 7:20 am, the trays that held water for the food, was disgusting dirty with left over food probably from the previous day. Nothing else was out beside some cereal. This was only for a one night stay and i will not go back nor recommend.

Very clean smelled so nice inviting. The clerk that checked is in was fantastic!! Very personable accommodating and just all around nice. Everyone greeted us when you came in. Breakfast was good also. There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Everything about the property was great.

I like the area the hotel is located. I didn’t care for the bathroom sink had very low water pressure. It took awhile for the water from the sink to go down. Than the shower head appears not to be adjustable it was like more water coming out and spitting more like towards the floor than inside the shower. Also I honestly saw a huge bug crawling in my room up above my door. I encourage to keep the hotel be Pest control more frequently than once a month maybe 1st of the month and the middle or end of each month.

Very nice quiet hotel.

Overall, the stay was nice. General manager Adriana was very accommodating. When my mother passed away, she allowed a cancellation and rebooking. It’s my go-to place in Albany. My family and I will definitely return.

I would recommend putting some yoga mats in the workout room. I would have worked out more if a mat was available to use.

An unexpected over night stay was comfortable, affordable, and conveniently located. We felt safe, were treated with friendly and kind service, and are repeat customers.

The pool was closed by health department for high chlorine level days ago and the grills outside were either not working or is bad shape weeks ago too. The carpet was very worn in our room. But good side was excellent breakfast buffet and furnishings were good

Spent I little extra money hoping for a comfortable and upgraded hotel. The floors had frayed carpet, shower glass doors flithly and needs paint and a freshing up. Way too expensive for the conditions.

Tub was stoped up place has bad plumbing cleaner move my stuff around which I didn’t like made me feel unsafe.!!!

Well stocked kitchen was great. I would have used the outside grill, but a little too much rain.

Everything was ok until our a/c went out at 11pm room got to 87 degrees. Too late to move tried to make the best of it. Front desk wouldn’t discount the rate offered us a water at checkout for our trouble

The staff was very courteous and helpful. I checked in about 4 on Thursday and the 2 young ladies that were there were excellent. Very good location.

Upon arrival, we were shown two rooms, and in both rooms, the sofa sleeper mattresses were disgustingly nasty and heavily soiled. Additionally, one of the rooms had extremely filthy sheets, which made me physically ill to my stomach. The condition of these rooms was beyond unsanitary; they were unsafe. Due to these conditions, my family and I were unable to stay at the hotel and had no other choice but to leave and secure alternative accommodation at the last minute, which created a significant hardship due the financial and time constraints we were under.

I didn’t have the best experience this time around at town place suites for one my television did not work in the bedroom and they could not fix it that night and had to send someone the next day after I had to remind them to come fix it. the shower had mold on the ceiling and parts of the ceiling was peeling alongside the wall in the bathroom as well. we found someone else’s bag in our room, which means that they probably didn’t clean it too well and we took it downstairs to the front desk because it was left prior to us coming in the room overall would I stay here again probably not.

Wednesday check in and out Sunday, 1st night, fire panel box causing alarms to sound off. No lights in certain part of room esp bathroom. Called for help. Some came the next morning, flipped the switch, returned from my outing and off again. Called for help, was told electrician was coming which never showed. Showered in dark, slipped and fell due to not seeing water on the floor. Asked to move to another room none available and still no electrician. I was moved on my last night. Very frustrating. Dog poop on elevator and hallway stayed there until Sunday. I request to speak to management since this is a safety concern, no call. Poor management.

overall, the state was pleasant. The television didn’t work so they had to transfer it to another room so I would give them eight out of 10. I’ll be back, but the staff needs to step it up some.

The property has an attractive outdoor seating area with grills, tables, comfortable chairs, and beautiful landscaping. Very pleasant! The room had a small kitchen equipped with clean, modern dinnerware and appliances.

the television was broken so we were placed into another room. Other thsn thos everything else was great.

The hotel was nice but the bathroom light kept going out and the refrigerator and freezer wouldn’t get cold.

We loved our stay close to everything even the convention center...

I love this property and staff but was very disappointed with the breakfast. I do understand the breaskfast cook was running late but the milk was sour and the eggs wete horrible, they didnt even taste like eggs. Next time we are going out for breakfast.

Time for renovation!

Not clean, items still inside drawers in room, items inside bathroom and on side of bed. Toilet seat scratched up, sheets dingy, tv out of date. The service was good from staff.

This was my second stay at this location. While eveything is minimal, I expected more. Firstly, I asked for my room to be cleaned. I returned at night to find an unclean room with no new towels.The shower was misty, leaving the bathroom wet. Additional, my shower was stacked with 2 shampoos and 1 hair conditioner, but NO shower gel! (Which I had also asked for. Breakfast was disappointing as well, they ran out of food two days, well before the cut off time.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was clean, making it a comfortable and relaxing space to unwind. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The location was perfect, with easy access to key attractions and amenities. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Decent 3 star hotel with helpful staff in a clean quiet and convieniently accessible location. Good access to nearby Target and restaurants. Fire pit is a great plus for an evening sit down after a long work day.

We did not stay at the property because when we arrived we were informed there was a $150 pet deposit for our 11 pound little dog. We booked this property because the amenities said pet friendly, but we were never informed about a pet deposit.

This hotel needs to be remodeled immediately. There was dark dreams in the shower and the toilet as well. Front desk clerk D'Mya was awesome with me asking for a room change twice due to the smell of mold. If I could have left and got my money back I would have!

Our room has had a lot of water damage. Plaster has been painted over, but it’s clearly peeling off. Light fixtures have rust all over them. The sprinkler head has rust all over it. The drywall ceiling in the bathroom is beginning to show signs of mold. The drywall in the bathroom is cracking.

Awesome experience

The beds in our room were extremly uncomfortable. The paint was chipping off the wall and we found used soap in the shower.

My husband, parents, sisters, niece, nephew, and family friend stayed at TownePlace for the first time while in town for the Miss Albany State University pageant. Our stay was excellent! We decided that this will be our hotel whenever we come to Albany. By the way, my niece won the pageant! She is the 82nd Miss Albany State University which made our stay even better!

I relocated to Albany and didn’t have my home yet so I stayed at this location off and on from Oct - Jan. There were some small hiccups but the staff rectified quickly and made it right! This was a great temporary housing solution! The staff was amazing!!!!

Short but sweet

Very comfortable beds and a quiet location

I’ve stayed at a hotel like this one in 2 different cities in the past 2 months. Both had the exact problem, they would have pictures of suites with spacious rooms and sofa beds. Each time I would pay for a suite and both times I got a room with just a chair. Not one picture of a room with a chair was pictured. I specifically got that room because we had my adult 18 year old grandson that did NOT want to share a bed with his old granny, do you blame him!? So we asked for a roll away which I had to pay for. The first place didn’t even have one. So frustrating. Also there was an electric short on one retaining wall that connected the kitchen, tv and bathroom. Everything would go off and back on. We could not use the tv the whole stay and the microwave pooped out completely after only one use. That staff tried so hard to accommodate us but how can they work if they’re not given the correct tools to work with? Marriott you’d better get your act together and start treating your employees and guests right. I’m probably not repeating a stay with this chain.

I had booked online and after arriving at 11pm at night, the front desk clerk notified me she had just cancelled my room and sent me an email. The AC wasn't working in the room I had reserved was the excuse. She was going to call surrounding Marriotts to see if they had a room. I am not checking my email at 11pm at night while driving. They could have at least called me so I wouldn't have unloaded my car and came in. Very unprofessional.

I recleaned the bathroom. Hair was left around the toilet, corners, and tub interior.

Customer service was amazing When I need something I got it . Very quiet after a hard day of working and meeting all day I felt so relaxed and will make this hotel my go to when I am on a business trip again.

Requested a body wash & never received it. Luckily, I brought my own soap. Also, Inrequested a 1pm check out. Someone knocked on my door twice after 12 noon. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Ive stayed at this location many times and the one time I email the manager about my concerns I get no response not even an acknowledgment. That was very disappointing.

The space was great for us to do our Thanksgiving cooking, without feeling crowded or overwhelmed.

When I come to Albany, this was my go to hotel. Yet, this visit was horrible. The host stated they have a staff storage and I would have to wait to check in! Also, when I came down for breakfast the bar was empty and the staff stated they don't have a breakfast staff, so they put out what was left in the refrigerator. Lastly, the room rug had a large hole in it, a light bulb missing the bathroom and a nail/staple sticking out of the rug.

The gym was neat, cookout area was nice and clean, when I visit this area again this is where I will be staying, Edward
