Liked everything about this hotel. Appreciate the kitchen facilities. It was incredibly clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the complimentary wine and snacks our first evening. The breakfast was very good. Staff at the front desk were welcoming and pleasant. I would stay here again, no question. Everything was just great. If I have to nit pick, I didn't like having the bed next to the bathroom area without a door. But that seems to be the way the room is designed.

Hotel has games for kids & Adults. Pool table Indoor pool, indoor gym, 2 breakfast areas, staff nice and friendly pets are allowed at a fee of course. We had a lovely time

Our swcond time stsying at this locstion. Everything was great! Comfortable beds, clean and spacious.

I didn't like that the indoor pool was cold. I thought for the time if year it should have been warm. Kids were shivering.

Breakfast options are awesome, good customer servise, gym and swimming pool area are very neat and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay in the suite rooom. It's like home away from home, I definitely will come back. Highly recommended 👌

We arrived and the Hilton system was down everywhere, and the staff handled it swiftly and smoothly. Kudos to them. Amazing stay, made mine and my Husbands stay memorable and we can’t wait to stay here again. Give the staff a raise!!

The room was clean, up to date and no odors. The staff at the front desk during check in and out was very courteous and respectful. The breakfast selection was good however the temperature of the breakfast sausage could be a little more warmed up and be cook a little bit more.

The room had an electric 2 burner cooktop, full sized fridge and microwave. The room was clean with effective heating unit. It was ZERO outside the night we were there. The only MINOR issue was the placement of the TV. It was wall mounted in the middle of wall #2. Wall #1 had the bed headboard and Wall #3 had the couch. TV viewing was from a huge side angle. But that was easily overcome by moving the couch to be in front of the TV. We had food delivered to the room from a local pizzeria who also did a very nice job with food quality, cost and speed of delivery. We will be going back to this same hotel every time we have to travel to Albany's Funny Bone Comedy Club at Crossgates Mall.

The location The kitchen cabinets should have been wiped down. The bed needs to be replaced. The was a spring in my husband back and the mattress dipped in.

Nice big area but people still have trouble finding the way in when driving. Beautiful inner sitting area and comfy by the faux fireplace. 2 area to eat, one upscale and one casual. Nice, friendly staff at the front desk.

Very conveniently located. Crossgates is right behind us and the University is just a few minutes away. Great price for a spacious suite. Gave me and my son room to have our own space. Nice front desk staff and great free breakfast. If he chooses SUNY Albany, this will be our go to hotel!

Perfect hotel for our needs. Free laundry was an amazing amenity.

Late at night a group of kids attempted to open my room door and knocked on my door. The kids wanted to come in my room and sleep. It was reported that night as well as the next morning. The front desk told me this happens at the hotel. Random outside kids walk into the hotel. I didn’t feel safe knowing anyone can walk into the facility late at night. Everything else in the hotel was good.

Perfect stay for a girls weekend to Albany for the tulip festival. 6 of us shared a two room Suite, double Queen with sofa bed in living room and kitchenette. The layout was perfect for our short stay. Well done Hilton!

The room was elegant, spacious and well equipped (kitchen appliances). Very comfortable beds, including the sofa bed. free guest laundry, inner pool, 24 hr Gym. Very good breakfast. Walk distance of a big shopping mall and public transportation.

Poorly maintained property. Dishwasher leaked. Shower not convenient (water pressure too high, shower door too close to toilet seat). Uncomfortable bed (we couldn't sleep well for 2 nights). Breakfast not so appealing; limited choices. Overall too expensive given the quality and location.

The staff were all very friendly and informative. The hotel is nice and big. The room is also spacious and beds were comfy. Having a kitchenette and extra couch/bed was convenient. The pool looked nice but we didn’t have time to use it. Breakfast was really good, with lots of selection and two different areas to choose from and plenty of room to sit. My only complaint is the overall cleanliness of the room…couch was stained, headboards were also, and tables/surfaces didn’t look clean. It was good for a one night stay traveling through.

Was very noisy until about 11:30pm. Kids in next room with no parent supervision. The fridge still had leftovers and open drinks in it.

The suites were great. Nice and roomy with the kitchenette. The common space was great. We stay up pretty late with a group of people in the lounge. It was welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was ok but the tables and eating space were comfortable and spacious. The patio in the back was a bonus for the children to play basketball. Close to the mall was an added bonus.

We have always enjoyed our stay at Homewood Suites in different areas as well as the Crossgates one but never again. It was a nice room so it wasn’t cheap but the condition of the room was just not exceptable.

Hotel was great and perfectly located for our needs on our vacation. Very clean and got a regular series of texts to make certain our stay was a great one. Breakfast was yummy with choice of two spaces to eat. Only two issues: DirecTV was apparently working on something two of our nights there and the tv kept loosing its "source" but would come back up again after a few tries. The other issue was that the pool was COLD - felt unheated! Too cold to go swimming in which was unfortunate as the pool was one reason we had booked the hotel. Would stay there again, however.

Check in was easy and the staff was greatI got a 2 queen suite that was nice and spacious. My kids like it a lot. The bedding was terrible. The top bla ket was a duvet and the pillows squished down to nothing. The room smelled musty though i left the ceiling fan on all day, even while we were away. The pool was hazy and walls were dingy looking. Breakfast was pretty bad, too. Im pretty sure the eggs werent made of eggs and the sausage patty was the worst that ive ever had. It would be better to have offered nothing.

The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast the usual continental breakfast. Nothing special. I wouldn’t stay here again. The walls are paper thin and I could actually hear the guy next to me snoring through the walls! There were like 10 kids in the rooms across from me making loud noises for hours. I wanted a peaceful, quiet stay and got the opposite of that.

Loud children running around halls. Room smelled like smoke. BEDBUGS. Rough area. Was very uncomfortable. Lack of security. Furniture was worn. Mattress uncomfortable. Room not clean. Maintenance man was using a towel with his feet to clean floors — really??? Dishes were filthy.

When I went to check in I wasn’t greeted, the woman that checked me in was more so worried about clocking out and someone relieving her. I was told I’d have to wait because no rooms were ready. Luckily another staff member came over and confirmed there was a room ready. When we first arrived to our room it looked a bit dirty as if it wasn’t vacuumed, or wiped down,there was old food in the heater vent, like a whole cracker was in the vent sitting there. The couch had stains all over it and the blankets and sheets for the pull out couch were stained like actual food stains. When my daughter went to take a shower she noticed the brown ring around the tub before getting in. It felt as if the room was rushed to be clean.wasn’t the greatest experience. I chose this hotel because we previously stayed here and I had no complaints,but this time around it was a bit upsetting.

My wife and I had 2 queen beds. The room was nice but the beds were very uncomfortable too soft.

Hotel looks very good, room was nice, but housekeeping needs improvement. I booked two rooms. In my daughters' room she had to call to the desk to complain about the stained sheets on her bed. They should have come up and changed them instead they brought her sheets. In my room they have pumps on the wall for the usual complimentary soaps and shampoo. I get in the shower, and they were empty, there is no bar of soap in the room. Talk to the desk and someone comes up with the bottles but does not install them just leaves them on the desk. The room has a small kitchen area, I am glad I had not brought food to the room because how do you eat anything when the utensils consist of two spoons, three knives, and no forks. I found that the rooms are not very soundproof especial overhead. All that said the general condition of the physical room was very good. I would stay here again if I had to, but I would come prepared.

It was a nice hotel, the location was great. Shopping right next store. The issues were few, there were loud out door parties during quiet hours which where annoying but not horrible. I am not sure where recreational cannabis smoking is handled at hotels but the smell in the hall ways was unreal. I guess I wasn’t expecting to get the dorm room feel in a hotel.

Bathroom was small, a lot of street noise, check-in clerk pointed us to the wrong breakfast bar, so we had 4 days of not very good breakfasts, not knowing that there was apparently a better breakfast bar for Homewood Suites guests. No material explaining hotel features in the room. Bed was comfortable.

My stay was Great. I stayed with my wife and son and we had a blast. We enjoyed the Pool, the hotel staff was friendly, my room was as HUGE and the mall is right behind the property for easy access.

Great stay! We love this hotel and stay here every time we travel for soccer tournaments and long drives. The first room was dirty but a quick switch to a different room was great!

Safe area, nice property

It was an amazing experience for my kids. The first time they've ever got to stay in a hotel and they thought they were in a dream. Convenient location near everything you'd like to do with your family. It was simply perfect.

First time here the room was very nice and clean.

Nice clean property. We stayed in a suite and it was enough room for 5 people. Not large but not tiny. The only suggestion would be to have the bathroom outside of the bedroom so you can have some privacy at night. Breakfast wasn’t fancy but it was a nice addition.

The bed and pillows were sooo comfortable!!! The room had both a bathroom and kitchen area. It was so nice. Lots of breakfast options. And everything so was clean and so nice! Staff was very sweet and helpful. Highly recommend!!!

Nothing special, pool is small, an entire family of ten or more spent the entire weekend in the pool. Not much room for others. Another guest told me that he had items stolen by housekeeping. Probably would not stay again. For the cost not up to par.

Waited 45 minutes to check in. The desk is right inside the doors so it’s chaos. When we got the room, one of the maids came and said she may have left an earring in the room and then entered without my permission. I told her to leave 3 times before she finally did. The counters were dirty, the dishwasher was going when we got there. Felt like a super 8 motel.

I liked that it was next to the mall. We actually had dinner there at Maggie McFly's which was surprisingly good! The thing that we didn't like was the hotel Lobby with the sharing with TruHotel. It was chaotic and the Staff upon check in and subsequent times- was not that helpful or personable. Thank you.

There was old conditioner or shampoo in the shower and the floors had not been vacuumed. So made us wonder what else had not been cleaned.

Was very nice ; the suites were spacious.. but not what they look like in the pics. Friendly staff, but there a few flaws to the place. The pool is small, and there is no hot tub on the premises. Other than the bed not being that comfortable, compared to say the Marriott; it was a good place to stay. Proximity to the mall, is the real seller . Especially when you have kids . I’d recommend, except the pool area. Basketball court outside looked well kept, plowing wasn’t the greatest that day..

We chose this property because of the large suite with a full kitchen, indoor pool, lots of lounge area, hot buffet breakfast, and pool table. The family and I (5) had a great time. Jennifer at the front desk was lovely and very helpful! Minutes from the mall with lots of shopping, dining, and fun for the kids (arcade, bowling, airsoft...). I would stay again.

Great Place lovely lovely lovely. Unfortunately in the end of December the hotel room was set at 62° in the air conditioning was on for whatever reason. It took forever for the room to get up to a comfortable temperature. Otherwise everything was perfect.

The only thing that was undesirable is that the fire alarm went off at 4 am, but that is uncontrollable.

The room that I reserved was not available. I had no choice but to stay in a room that was not accommodating for me and my family. The room was also dirty.

Hotel was very nice. Unfortunately, there was a large group of people (who were mostly not staying the hotel) throwing a birthday party in the pool area. They were using the entire space and had balloons all throughout the pool, so our kids could not use the pool area. That was disappointing, but the rest was nice. We really liked the walking distance to the mall for shopping and restaurants.

We waited over 30 minutes to check in I understand the frustration of the desk staff, but we were late to our event as a result
