Friendly front office, easy getting to room, requested downstairs, and received a room on lower level. The bathroom door would hardly close and needs attention. The room needs up-dates with tub and shower. Due to demand of rooms prices went up for supply and demand, which is unfair and price gouging.

The rooms were so overwhelmed with smoke smell from people smoking in rooms. The sheets were dirty and had holes in them. We had to ask for another room due to the broken mirror, stained bed and cigarette burns in bed. The second room wasn’t much better. The whole area hotels were sold out so we didn’t have anywhere else to go. We went out and bought our own sheets and blanket and sat in chairs outside the room until time to sleep. We didn’t stay the second night because the first was so horrible. Will NEVER stay here again. All people ask for are clean sheets and clean rooms. The manager said well we are the cheapest rooms in town….. I see why it wasn’t even tolerable to stay at! Old , outdated carpet and stains. Blood stains and brown unidentifiable stains on carpet and sides of bed. “Clean sheets” were stained and there was even hair in the refrigerator with dirt! And they charged $580 for two nights!!! The smoke smell and deplorable conditions were unacceptable and we didn’t even get offered our money back. Just told, well we are the cheapest in town and everyone is sold out due to concert.

The heaters are very old and noisy, and the air coming out of them is extremely strong. I couldn't sleep because of them. They need maintenance or replacement. And When I booked through Booking.com, it said that breakfast was included, but there was no breakfast. And The bathing supplies, such as shampoo, conditioner, and soap, were not sufficient.

I picked this hotel because it was breakfast included. I asked the woman when we got there about it and she said "we have coffee and cookies". The next morning my husband tried to go in to let them know not to take the blanket on the bed (we had to go buy our own because theirs was dirty and full of burnholes), the door was locked no one in sight. He went to the night windows and rang the bell. He woke the attendant up!!!! He was sleeping in the back! When we checked out, same thing!!

Our stay was ok. The price was ok. There was no complimentary breakfast as advertised. Most lights within the room did not work. The refrigerator was plugged in but not working. There were people outside at 4:30 AM speaking loudly on the phone that woke us up. Due to the nature of the conversation, drugs, it was not safe for us to confront him to quiet down. We only stayed one night so a quick overnight stay it was ok for the price. The front desk attendants, the men, were very kind.

False advertising. There is no breakfast, not even coffee and according to managers, they havent had since Covid. No coffee maker in the room either. I chose this hotel because of this feature to save money on a very costly trip with a large family. Very disappointed! The owner required a $50 cash deposit. I asked for a receipt he did not want to give me one said he had been in business for 24 years. Told no Breakfast tho Exterior sign, Expedia sites, and America Best Value sites say free continental breakfast. They claim covid. All of Florence SC has been doing breakfast for quite a while now. Most Important: Popcorn ceiling falling in on Bed and Shower. Shower Ceiling BlackMold. Attrocious treatment of Guests. Criminal negligence.

There were dead bugs in our room. A lot of the items in the room were in disrepair (lamps, door stopper was falling out of the wall, cracks and holes in the bathtub, etc), the ac would not turn off if it was on the “auto setting”. This made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep as it was either so hot we were sweating, or so cold we were shivering. The staff was nice, but overall we would not stay here again.

Furnishings, tub, and basin were old and outdated. And what's with the bed designed for a person 6'5"? I'm 5'4" and literally had to crawl up over the side of the bed to get in it. First of all when we booked this is said “sleeps 6 people” I booked for myself, wife, daughter, mother, grandma and aunt. When we arrived the owner (a different nationality and could not understand him) first said my reservation was canceled! I went and got my phone and pulled up my reservation confirmation, as well as the email I had received just four days prior AGAIN confirming my reservation. He then was able “to find” my reservation, but then proceeded to apologize that this room did not sleep 6 people and I would have to book a second room! I asked him why I received a confirmation through hotels.com and was allowed to book this room (side note, I have booked through hotels.com and Travelocity for many years and if a room does not meet the size of the party, it clearly states this, meaning that the owner of this motel gave the description that the room slept 6 people, which generally means, 2 double beds and a sleeper sofa) when I confronted the owner with this, he said there was nothing he could do, BUT could give me 15% off the second room. I told him I would contact hotels.com. They were able to work with me, giving me a credit toward another room (we still had to pay an additional $7.06 in tax) the rep. had been in the phone with the owner, who admitted that the rooms actually only sleep 3 people. When I come back he was all Cheshire Cat grin, so glad it was “worked out” Right after that the description on the website says sleeps 3. DO NOT BOOK...PLEASE DO NOT BOOK!

After a long drive this was not the hotel I had expected. Checking in was not an easy or pleasant experience and the room was horrendous. The tiny bathroom was disgusting and the door didn't even function properly. The shower had black spots all over about the size of nickles. I felt dirtier than I started after the shower. One bed had wood chips in it and the other has cigarette burn holes all over the linens. As for the "breakfast" all I can say is i hope you like stale cereal with no milk, and that it. If we hadn't been so tired we absolutely wouldn't have stayed here.

This room was sold a a 50% discount. The room wasn't worth the original price. When I entered the lobby to register, a female staff member was sitting in the lobby talking on the phone. I waited for her to acknowledge me, but she continued talking on the phone. It wasn't until I rang the bell twice that she got off the phone and came around the sign in desk. Her manner was rude. She treated me like I was an interruption in her day. They advertise a continental breakfast. What I saw was coffee, a box of pastries, and two browning bananas.
