Nice location close to Santa Anita. I have stayed here multiple times. Good no frills hotel. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean.

Completely useless at front desk

If you want a comfortable & affordable stay with a touch of luxury, this is the place to be. We always book here for a staycation & it is amazing each time. Highly recommended, the pictures don’t do the property justice! The staff is great also!

Walls were very thin, so I wished the man in the room next to ours and my partner could’ve at least snored in sync, because it was hard to find a rhythm while trying to sleep.

Need more handicap parking spaces

As usual, everything was very good. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The lobby area was sparkling and the front desk staff helpful and courteous, as usual.

Came in at 2 am and dude at the front desk was asleep took 15mins to get n the lobby to wake him. Lucky someone was having a smoke and let me n the lobby

The mini fridge is very noisy. I should have unplugged it. I did not require maid service during my stay. They were often in the hallway and very friendly. Didn’t eat breakfast but appreciated the coffee and hot tea in the morning. Staff at front desk was always friendly. I’ve stayed here before and will probably stay again.

The breakfast was excellent, and I really liked the pool and jacuzzi. The bathroom needs cosmetic repairs: the toilet seat was broken, the bathtub has yellow stains, and there are large yellow stains on the ceiling.

The hotel was very clean, we had everything we needed in the hotel. The only thing I would say that I wasn’t a fan of was the breakfast. I went to go check out the breakfast buffet that you could purchase extra, but it wasn’t anything that was above average and just regular continental breakfast for that price that they were asking for they could’ve provided a little bit more options at the breakfast buffet, but overall the hotel was really nice, elegant, clean and easy-going.

Property is average. Water is dripping in the bathroom. They don’t change towels and make beds unless requested. There was electrical burn smell in the lobby and nobody cared. Couple of hours later the alarm was activated. There seemed to be something burning in the kitchen and the sprinklers were activated. Firemen came and we were outside in.the cold about an hour. Overall not a great experience

The drain is covered by a metal plate and when I got in to take a shower I noticed that the water was not draining. I turned off the water and moved the plate, to my surprise there was a ball of hair!! I have no idea when was the last time that drain got cleaned, I had to clean it myself so the water would drain and it was not a pleasant activity. There was long hair and short ones that looked like the aftermath of a shave. This was not ours, we stayed one night, ONE SHOWER and that hair was probably from many different people. There was brown, black, and blonde hair. Definitely the worse I’ve ever see.

Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable. Our room never got made up. They said they alternate cleaning days for the rooms...we were there two days and never got the beds made, etc. When I called the front desk, they brought up towels and coffee...but they said it was too late to make the beds

Our complaints: On our 2nd day there wasn’t enough maid staff to clean our room. Checked in on Thursday and no cleaning until Sunday. One elevator didn’t seem to work, k-pods should be provided for 2 days since the cleaning is only scheduled for every other day.

You can hear noise of door closing and people talking in the hallway. The noise of human walking was so loud that you could not fall asleep properly. There are holes in the bedsheet.

This property is nearby a lot of food options and is quiet which is great at night. Plenty of parking. Front desk staff is friendly. The hotel is pretty outdated needs renovations, new linens as ours were ratty and torn. The elevator works but the certificate is expired lol we asked housekeeping for new linens and towels did not get them replaced. I give this hotel a 3 out of 5 stars

Quick check in. Easy to find parking and avail elevator to the higher floor. Room has coffee maker. Easy drive to Rose Bowl for Club World Cup. A water filler/fountain would be useful have next to the ice machine.

Hotel needs improvement and remodeling

Ice machine not working on our floor, 1 coffee k cup in our room, my friend called the desk and they said they ran out of coffee?? What!

This is my 3rd stay at this property. My previous stays went smoothly with no complaints. This time I had some issues with our room but after notifying the staff, they were quick to respond and rectify the situation. Overall, great staff and experience.

It was a nice hotel, clean room, good location. The only issue with my room 209 is the toilet needs a new flapper. It causes the water to drain, so every 1 min 41 seconds, the toilet tank will fill with water for 9 seconds. It's noisy so it's noticeable.

Nice quiet out of the way hotel for some quiet time

The property needs a renovation. Lobby looks nice, but our room didn’t match up. What’s considered a free breakfast at other Hilton properties I’ve stayed at was $16.50 here, though there weren’t enough plates, flatware, food or seats for the number of people there. Staff were rude when I asked to see my folio at checkout. I’d been overcharged. They reluctantly corrected the bill once, but I’m still owed $33.

The room was nice and had shampoo, conditioner, lotion, coffee/tea if you needed it which was nice. I would have given 5 stars if I hadn’t been woken up repeatedly by housekeeping. It sounded like someone was right outside our door having a conversation with her co-worker down the hall. Talking and laughing loudly while putting things on the cart or taking them off. I finally just got up but was irritated from lack of sleep.

We are now in the 4 floor unfortunatally the cleaning personal is by far not so effectiv ( or organinize ) like in the third floor . Biggest issue was that we rented a room with a king bed. We had a king frame but a queen mattress. Not only were we not as comfortable, but whenever walking around the bed, you naturally turn at the mattress. But, since the frame was larger than the mattress, we constantly were hitting our knees against the sides. We got in late at night after a long flight so just needed to crash. We left around 9am and there was no one at the front desk at that time and had to catch an uber. Overall, fine to sleep, just really didn’t appreciate getting the queen mattress on the king frame

Staff is friendly. Free parking. Free coffee in lobby with hot breakfast available to purchase. Rooms are on the smaller side and beds are small.

The hotel can use some interior renovation. The ceilings had a lot of wet or water marks. The strangest thing was we put a towel in a drawer to use later that day. We had our room serviced. And the towel was removed…. That felt a little violating to have someone go through the drawers in the hotel. The front desk was awesome and the location was great. We never had problems with parking. But it is definitely more dated than the other hotels in the area. The shower pressure sucked too.

Front desk staff poor, one was coloring and could not get assistance from another. Charge for breakfast $16.50 which is typically included at other hotels and out $4.25 per load of laundry. Stay at Springfield next door for a higher quality of stay!

Great staff from check-in to check-out, such easy to park (free for guests), clean indoors, spacious room with renovated bathrooms. Free Wi-Fi working perfectly and plus a free coffee/tea in the morning. Great!

Everyone is very friendly and eager to help. The roon was nice and enjoyable. Bed was very comfortable.

Very dated, so old the grime is permanently in the carpet. I have seen cleaner truck stops. Not just due to age but poor cleaning. The flat surface turned the clean wipe black. Will never stay at this hotel again. Even if it were free.

Also that you had to request for your room to be cleaned on a daily basis by 9 AM which was very irritating that they just didn’t come in and make up the beds. The breakfast buffet was fantastic though.

The staff are great. The on location coin operated laundry is a plus. The bar staff was great. If they renovated the bar/cafe to be more cozy and have actual bar counter, I would give the place a 5 star.

Left 1 short pan when check out . Called back 3 hours later . It was gone.

Waiting for my $5 refund for the water I was charged for that I didn't touch.

Lovely property

I travel constantly, and try not to be too judgmental, as I know things go wrong sometimes no matter what. But this stay was pretty bad. The staff was courteous and check in was easy. But upon entering the room, I found the toilet was broken. The handle was disabled and literally hanging out of the tank, and the water was running furiously as the valve couldn't close. I'm baffled as to what employee would leave the bathroom in that condition. The front desk sent up someone to address it, and he fixed it, but the handle broke again in the morning. The carpets were stained and there was an ugly patched wall. The remote for the tv, which b-a-r-e-l-y functioned at all was held together with scotch tape. The thermostat was schizophrenic, and switched from heating to cooling on its own. Other Hilton Garden Inns I've stayed at have been nicely and cheerfully upgraded. This one has not. As I left I noticed how truly dirty the place was, especially the carpets. It's really in need of some attention.

Hey you guys, you have to replace the carpet. It was threadbare, raveled, and stained. Obviously very old I expect more from Hilton. The front desk employees and the bartender were awesome 10 stars for them! Overall I would have to say it was average. You need to clean and update that property. I will stay there again however because of your front desk staff.

Very quiet

We checked in and given a room on the 1st floor near elevators. It kept us up. So much noise and unable to sleep. Also we were given a room with handicap access for shower. The bathroom was a mess and we had to put towels all over the floor.

The room was neat with soda caps under the bed and stains on the mattress itself but otherwise clean bathroom and closet.
