Reviews
Guests generally appreciate the hotel's cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenient location. The breakfast and happy hour offerings are frequently praised. However, there are consistent complaints about the condition of the rooms, including outdated furniture, inadequate air conditioning, and cleanliness issues. Some guests also express dissatisfaction with additional fees, such as parking charges.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Convenient location with nearby food options
- Outdated and worn-out rooms
- Additional fees for parking and breakfast

Was looking forward to a little getaway from my routine. It was not what I expected! Elevators were not working, so the waiting time was long to go up and down the floors. Televisions were not working in the room. And to top it off I found feces and hair in my bathtub!!
- 5/5
The hotel is very welcoming and personal. The staff is super helpful. I appreciated the text messages and easy access to help if needed. The breakfast was amazing. And the bar made great drinks!!

Me encantó ❤️

Beautiful property, breakfast was great. We will definitely book again
- 4/5
Other than those initial issues, our stay has been very enjoyable. We especially loved the breakfast, and the freshly made omelets were excellent. The coffee was a must-have to start our busy days, and we looked forward to it each morning. We were also very pleased with the comfort of the beds. We felt refreshed and well-rested after a good night’s sleep, which made a big difference during our trip. Overall, our experience has been positive. While there are a few areas that could use more attention before guests arrive, your staff has been consistently helpful, responsive, and attentive whenever we needed assistance. Thank you for your hospitality, and we appreciate the efforts of the team to make our stay comfortable.

Have been there Almost once a month and elevators where not working making it hard to get up and down or taking so long more then 10 min to just get to room or up or down. Air was not working inconvenient
- 4/5
We have stayed here many times over the the past 8 years. This latest trip, however, was not a particularly good one. The breakfast is now weak and the cleanliness of the room was poor.
- 4/5
Broken elevators... enough said... room was fine.
- 1/5
The whole room and hotel was very stuffy and room. Main thing is that My family and I got stuck on the elevator. We were told an outside facility had to come let us out. It ended up being the Fire Department. It took 45 min to get us out. Not one representative from the hotel checked on us or asked if we were okay. It was truly an awful experience. Afterwords we were told that this has happened twice already in the same week.
- 2/5
AC was not really AC. Even you adjust the settings to 40F room still warm. Front desk didn't tell us the breakfast is up to 9 am only. When we came to the dinning the server is kinda mad why we came late. One lady getting juice the server is a little bit annoyed.
- 1/5
Housekeeping was also lacking. The room was not cleaned properly, and basic standards of cleanliness were not met. In addition, the staff was unprofessional and unhelpful when concerns were brought to their attention. Rather than addressing issues promptly, they seemed uninterested in resolving guest complaints. Overall, the hotel appears neglected and in need of significant maintenance and management improvements. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying here until these issues are addressed.
- 4/5
There used to be four elevators, but during that busy memorial weekend, only two was working. The in and out took a looong time, and when you finally get on, holy moly cannery row, jam packed sardines! Whoa! Who farted?!😂 Its not cool, sorry but it’s the truth. Not only me, everyone shared something about the elevator. Its a good way to start a conversation though, I give you that. Almost did some cherry pickin’ if you know what I mean, but there’s a problem. It ain't cherry season! 😆

The breakfast was delicious as always! Nice location, within walking distance to many restaurants.

after waiting over five minutes to go down I tried Another elevator This one never came I had to walk down with my disability one step at a time Never again !!!!!! Walter Scott !!!!

As soon as we arrived the entire hotel had a strange smell. When we got to our room it was even worse, we were changed rooms but it still smelled like dirty wet carpets. Not well managed or cleaned enough. Some staff were rude
- 1/5
We checked in late night on the fourth at three in the morning we had to go through a procedure of changing rooms we change rooms because the first room had a bed with blood, and it looked like skid roll didn’t want my children to sleep on that went to the next room. It was not worse but about the same and then try to talk to the staff, and they didn’t even wanna talk to us. People got stuck in an elevator as well I wouldn’t recommend to bring your families here very unsafe and insanitary. Staff is terrible and rude.

Always a great place to stay when visiting. Close to restaurants and shopping.
- 2.5/5
The breakfasts were good. The elevators were not working properly and too noisy during the night.
- 5/5
This Hotel was very comfortable and nice, well maintained. And front serve was great.
- 4/5
It’s a good value for the price. Two of four elevators were broken.
- 2.5/5
The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options, including a high-quality omelette station. The hotel’s location was particularly well suited for families, situated in a safe, family-friendly area with numerous nearby dining options. This made travelling with young children both convenient and comfortable. It also served as an excellent base for exploring the region, we visited Universal Studios, key Hollywood attractions, Santa Monica and the beaches through to Malibu, and even completed a day trip to the San Diego Zoo. During quieter moments, we enjoyed visiting the peacocks in Arcadia. While traffic in and out of the area can be quite busy, the added travel time of approximately 20 minutes each way was well worth it for the peace of mind and safety the location provided when travelling with children There were a number of frustrating issues during our stay. Two elevators were out of order the entire time, which caused delays and inconvenience. The pool and gym were both unavailable, which was particularly disappointing as we were travelling with children and had planned to use these facilities, especially after long days out. I also had to pay for an external gym nearby, which was an unexpected extra cost. Parking was advertised as free at the time of booking, however we were charged USD $16 per day on arrival. The self-service laundry was also inconvenient, requiring guests to download an app and create an account before use.

The property was really nice close to stores, food and freeway. Everyone was really nice and helpful. Enjoyed the free breakfast it was delicious. And the complimentary drinks and bar snacks. The only complaint I have is the elevators were really slow and only had 2 open.
- 5/5
Amazing breakfast! Pool eventhing amazing
- 3/5
Pool and hot tub were “closed” with no explanation. I would not have booked this hotel if I had known these amenities would not be available. We were not told about it until we asked someone where the hot tub was located. The elevators are also questionable and half of them were not working. Besides that, the room was clean, bartender was very nice, and the breakfast was good.
- 4/5
My stay was really great.the staff were all very friendly and helpful.really liked the free breakfast and cocktails. I would definitely stay again.
- 3/5
Pool jacuzzi out of order for two days we arrived and no one notified us when they opened. The pool not heated and both in need of repairs. I asked to speak to the GM Mark repeatedly left messages never heard back from him. Expect 50 % off the total bill.
- 1/5
These hotels used to be clean and upscale. There is nothing about this hotel that is royal or a suite. Just gross in cleanliness and the once made to order breakfast isn’t nearly the quality it used to be either. I’ll never stay at an embassy suite again.
- 1/5
My room was booked and paid for, when i arrived they told me there wasn’t any rooms available. There were no phone calls or emails prior to this. On a vacation with kids changes like these would be greatly appreciated if they are communicated.

$16/day parking and no there is no getting away with it because they have a tollgate. Air conditioner was not working. We didn't figure this out until 3am the day when we were going to check out. First day we were too exhausted to notice. Second day the heat really hit us. I turned the temp to 50, I could hear the vents working but I soon realized the filters that were sitting on top of the vents were probably clogged because there was no air coming through it. Fridge didn't work. Pool was under maintenance. Washer and dryer are cashless and needed an app download where you would load money. Felt sketchy. Both washers smelled like mildew and had mold in the rubber. Dryer did not dry, so expect to do 2 drying sessions. Each machine cost $3.00-$3.50. Also the laundry soaps/suds that come in the box are $3 each so you're probably better off getting some across the street. One working elevator so that meant we always had to wait for a while between all the floors and the elevators could only "fit" six people. I say "fit" because they had a sign saying Our elevators are happiest with 6 guests. Breakfast was mehhh.... I mean it was free but I did expect a bit more from Embassy. Waffles were like rock. No yogurt. Moldy bagel in the display container. Fruits were translucent and soggy so I think they were frozen before or were refrigerated too many times. The only thing done right was the omelet bar and drinks. 10/10 on the layout though... was open and felt safe which I do love.
- 1/5
Inviting pool and spa were out of order. two elevators out of order. wet carpet in the bedroom area. tub drained very slowly so standing in 6 inches of water when taking a shower. I advised Chase at the front desk of the issues and let him know I would not be staying for the remainder of my reservation. He said that he logged this in the system and approved a refund for the remaining two days. Now Expedia is saying that I need written confirmation regarding the above from the hotel. Of course, I am no longer in the area so one more hassle to deal with. Not what I expect as a Gold Member of Expedia!
- 5/5
Upon my arrival, I was a little disappointed that the pool was down but the front desk staff were terrific and I left the front counter feeling terrific. They are wonderful the assistant manager Kamila
- 4/5
The staff was terrific at this property. Both of the TVs in our room were woefully outdated and needed replacement (the screens were dim and blue). Once maintenance arrived at our room, both TVs were replaced with 15 minutes, and the two workers were very friendly and non-intrusive. The check-in staff (Chris, I believe) was polite and professional. The breakfast offering was generous and well-maintained. Our only gripe is that this property has the slowest elevators we have ever experienced at any hotel. It was probably a 5+ minute wait each time you needed to use the elevator regardless of which floor you were on. Other than that minor inconvenience, we would absolutely stay at this property again.

Honestly, almost everything was fine, especially the excellent breakfast; except that the pool wasn't open, and that's why my daughter was going
- 5/5
We love the Breakfast so much but also we love to take swimming after arriving at hotel when we stay we found out the pool are not available
- 1/5
The area is great a lot of restaurants close by The major problem was .the pool was closed that is the only reason we picked this hotel if we would have known we would have stayed somewhere else.the staff could have told us before arrival as a courtesy.the refrigerator in room didn't work.and no screen door on balcony we got bit by mosquitoes.was disappointed.thought this hotel would have been better was our first time staying here..I would really like the hotel to make it right for another stay when pool is working
- 5/5
The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is great!

Awesome stay but pool was closed temporarily
- 2/5
The staffs are great. However, the hotel is poorly maintained. The room was very cold, my son started coughing. Also it was very noisy at night. It feels like there’s a football team practicing next and above us.

- 5/5
Very enjoyable stay.
- 4/5
The free happy hour is a nice thought but quality of food and drink offerings should be upgrade. I still had to pay $12 to get to decent bears. Staff, parking location ver good. The breakfast could offer some pastries. Omelet team were very nice and friendly

Not sure why the breakfast was at 7am. The bathroom had pubes on them we haven’t even used it.

Great location, yummy breakfast with omelette station
- 5/5
Older classy hotel. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Room service was prompt and decent. Great continental breakfast in the morning. Only negative is the elevators were slow. Otherwise, had a great stay!
- 5/5
Breakfast was great.
- 5/5
There is not a better value than the Embassy Suites. If you have a family, it is the “go-to” place to be. Clean, a wonderful complete breakfast, a nice pool…it’s a great location too!
- 5/5
Good breakfast , very friendly staff
- 4/5
The property feels safe and conveniently located. The sound proof of the facility needs upgrading. The room was noisy. You can hear water sound from upstair. You can also hear traffic on nearby streets especially at night. The elevators, total of four, run extremely slow. It seemed 2 of the 4 elevators were always either on service or out of order during the 6 days that we stayed there.
- 1/5
Didn't like it didn't have much of a choice and didn't give you really a good selection. Some of the food was called.
- 2/5
Rooms really need an upgrade, the room was so muggy & smelled wet, they don’t clean room properly you can see the mountain of dusk on the tissue box, one towel had some pick sticky stuff so clearly they don’t do a good job washing
- 3/5
The housekeeping only came

Confort room Well size room Great Breakfast
- 2/5
The room smelled so bad like mold it made my asthma flare up. Front desk said there were no other rooms. The room was dreary and dirty. Will not be back.
- 1/5
It was a great experience been at the hotel. We love the pool, it’s nice not to worry how the weather is going to be. The water was warm. The breakfast is a 10 plus. Omelettes so yummy. We will be back soon.
- 5/5
Breakfast was amazing. Lots of fresh and hot options. The nightly drinks and snacks were a nice way to unwind each night. The staff was great and very friendly.
- 2/5
Our room, the AC did not work and the switch in the bathroom did not work, neither did the light when we got there. The bathroom also had hair in it. Maintence came and fixed the light problem, but the outlet in the bathroom did not work. The breakfast was great. Wish the room was clean and everything worked.
- 5/5
The breakfast was fresh each morning with a variety of sides. Nice way to start your day!

Room was run down, some lights didn't work, tub needed repair, bed was sub-standard and aged
- 5/5

- 4/5
Everything was good except that they have two broken elevators and it will take long to get to your room. They also charge $16 for parking but they don’t close the gates so anybody can park there and we are being charged.

Its was perfect. Thank you
- 5/5
We would recommend hotel.
- 2/5
Property was in worse worse condition than expected. Everything appeared to be fine at first, but cleanliness was definitely an issue along with the condition of the actual hotel rooms, the entirety of our stay only one elevator on either side of the hotel was available as soon as we checked in to our first room we had to be moving to an entirely different room because the patio door was broken and would not latch properly, and there was dirty handprints on the closet doors our second in the hotel my daughter got bitten multiple times by what appeared to be a spider so we requested for the sheets to be changed while we were gone, and they never came to change the sheets call the front desk to complain again ask them why we were out the following day if they could clean the room which they responded that they would and we came back to the room, not being cleaned. The final night there we had to sleep with the patio door open the entire time because my suite was filled with the smell of marijuana so badly that it was affecting my kids asthma making them cough
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Clean room with very nice staff. One thing could be improved for the bonus points is there should be free water provided for guest during check in. Breakfast was huge has good variety to choose from with chef made live!!
- 3/5
The room was outdated. AC was barely ok. Stains on furniture
- 3/5
Two elevators were out of service. The other two were extremely slow. It could 10 minutes to get to and from the roo.
- 3/5
No shampoo. Only one tv remote. Elevators not functioning
- 2/5
We were disappointed to have the pool shut down for half our stay. It was one of the reasons we chose your property over others. The bathroom had mold, rust & water damage but something we somewhat understand in humid climates. When checking in we were asked if we preferred a high or low floor with no explanation of why we were asked that. Then we discover there are only 2 working elevators and only 1 was working one of the mornings. We would have chosen a lower room if that had been disclosed. Staff was very welcoming as we came & left each day. Breakfast was quick service and had comfortable seating.
- 4/5
The hotel is very big and the rooms are spacious. But cleanliness can be better. There's lot of room for improvement in terms of cleanliness. Also, there's only 1 elevator working, which caused a lot of frustration among visitors. The only elevator working was used by the hotel staff as well. Breakfast, although good, its the exact same everyday. If you are staying for more days then you get bored of eating the same thing again. Breakfast quality can also be improved. I found some hard metal piece in omelette. I did not use the pool, but it looked pretty filthy. We found this hotel to be cheaper compared to others in the similar category like free breakfast and refundable. I might consider staying here again if the prices are competitive.
- 5/5
I enjoyed it we had excellent time
- 2/5
Is super outdated with popcorn ceiling and overall it does not feel very clean. Staff is nice but when you talk to someone they don’t really relate to the next person so you don’t get anything you asked for
- 1/5
On the positive side, most of the front desk staff provided great service, and one of the cleaning staff members stood out as especially friendly and helpful—he truly made a good impression. Unfortunately, there were several issues that were concerning. At the bar, I ordered a glass of wine and noticed the glass was dirty before it was served. When I pointed it out, the bartender responded in Spanish saying “está sucio” in a mocking tone, clearly making fun of my comment. He didn’t realize I spoke Spanish, and his reaction afterward made the situation even more uncomfortable. That interaction felt unprofessional and disrespectful. More importantly, I did not feel safe during my stay. On both days, I observed employees behind the hotel drinking alcohol and using marijuana. This raised serious concerns about safety and overall management. Additionally, some of the furniture in the room appeared damaged, which added to the feeling that the property is not being properly maintained. Overall, while there were a few positive interactions, the lack of professionalism, safety concerns, and maintenance issues would make me hesitant to stay here again.
- 3/5
They had one working elevator for all of the guests and staff!!! That was insanely ridiculous trying to get to our room or trying to get out. They have people that have lived there for almost a year and stated that 2 of the four elevators have been broken for almost 8 months. Fire hazard super annoying trying to get where you need to go.
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet
- 5/5
Easy to find and lots of restaurants and huge mall within a short distance.

tHE ROOM WE WERE IN NEEDS WORK, THE CURTAINS, MIRROR ETC ARE VERY WORN. OUR WINDOW TO THE OUTSIDE WAS TO A ROOF OF SORTS ON THE 2ND FLOOR. DID NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL. I THINK FOR $250 YOU COULD DO BETTER. WE HAVE BEEN IN OTHER ROOMS AT THIS HOTEL. MUCH BETTER AND RENOVATED.
- 2/5
Rooms were not clean, mattresses are not comfortable. Coffee was not good and area was filthy. Elevators didn't seem to reliable.

- 5/5

- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay. Everything was exceptional.
- 3/5
The furniture in the room was well warn, I had to use towels for arm rest because of dirty arms of chairs and sofa groaned when sitting on it. The bed was adequate. Also housekeeping didn’t service my room, I had to request clean towels.
- 4/5
Breakfast was great made to order. Staff was very friendly

It was very hot in the room. It smelled very musty, and the sheets were very wrinkled like they were not changed.
- 5/5
This place is amazing. It was so beautiful so comfortable. The people are so very friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back.
- 2/5
The room was great but the service was not good. The hot tub looked disgusting, the amount of foam in there was alarming. A lot of bio hazards.
- 2/5
No towels at
- 2/5
They could not honor the room I purchased
- 5/5
Room was as described and very clean. Quiet atmosphere
- 2/5
This hotel is typically amazing. The issue going on during our time there with a whole set of elevators not working caused the 1 side that was working to have so much traffic, especially the day everyone was checking out, Sunday! They had an event where the hotel was booked out, I was told the elevators had been down for awhile and they hadn't fixed them before this big event! Our room was on the side with the working elevators which was convenient but they were noisy from our room we could hear them at night while trying to sleep.
- 4/5
The only concern I had was how the heater in my room was not working, it wasn't putting out any air, let alone warm air, and this was during a bad cold snap. When I reported this to the staff, they acknowledged the problem and sent a space heater up to my room, along with a nice blanket. This helped greatly, but the lack of temperature control is why I have not given my rating a full five stars. This situation should not have to be tolerated with the money I have paid for the stay. I hope the problem, and any others, get resolved quickly. Thank You.

Wonderful and friendly staff. The room is clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
The indoor pool was great, the room was decent. Unfortunately the AC in my room wasnt working properly, but when i contacted Devin could help kinda solved the issues. Have to pay parking, really adding extra fees, should've just added to the room rate and make it free parking.
- 4/5
Excellent staff
- 5/5
Great hotel in an awesome location. Lots of restaurants around. They offer a great breakfast with made to order omelets or eggs your way. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip out. Friendly staff and very clean. We had a double queen with a sofa bed. A door between the rooms was great. A small bar, dining table/desk, microwave, safe and refrigerator. The parking is safe, lots of lighting and use must use the room key to get in and out of the parking area.

No. The room is so run down . There was a lot of dust too. The AC was not working properly even after it was fixed .

The bathroom was to tinny if anyone would open the door they would hit you in the knees… we found MOLD on the ceiling of the bedroom sliding door by the curtains
- 5/5
Only because I am older the stairs to get in and out of the pool were steep. Had difficulties getting out.
- 5/5
Staff was very welcoming and helpfulz We enjoyed our stay.
- 3/5
The staff was very courteous; 1 elevator was broken the entire visit, which was inconvenient; the ice machine on the 5th floor did not work; nor did the thermostat in Room 527; coffee and creamer were provided, but no stirrers -- I expected better. Also, certain items on the breakfast buffet were mislabeled
- 5/5

- 5/5
The check-in staff did an excellent job!
- 1/5
The room appeared neglected, and the bed was not clean. There was a significant amount of hair on the bedding, which looked like short dog hair. I have allergies, and this caused a reaction. The entire bed seemed to be covered in pet hair, which is a health hazard and completely unacceptable.
- 5/5
Great location and great breakfast. Love that the pool stays open later than expected.

- 5/5
The room was clean! The breakfast was great! We will be back!
- 4/5
We are a family of five, so we utilized the sofa bed. We stayed 5 nights. The room was clean, and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was great. They have an omelet station. The dining breakfast area would be blocked off after breakfast, so that no one could use the tables later in the day if you order food and want to eat in the lobby. The tables they do have available do not allow you to use them for outside food. They do have seating areas to eat at, but no tables to eat outside food.

This hotel room was not clean. The windows would not close or lock and when we called about it, they did nothing. Only two elevators worked for our entire stay. This is not your typical Embassy Suites and the age/status of this hotel should be stated at booking. Additionally, the beds were extremely uncomfortable/old. This hotel needs an overhaul.
- 4/5
Beautiful place and room was nice. The indoor pool and hot tub were the highlight besides complementary drinks between 5:30-7 pm. Alcoholic and non alcoholic, which is great in case you’re not into it. The only thing that I would change is the floor my room was on. I didn’t know that the elevator was glass were made out of glass. My child got really scared and cried, but other than that, this day was great.
- 5/5
Loved the breakfast and the 2 drinks per night
- 3/5
no air conditioning, elevators slow or not working.
- 4/5
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, but the sofa was ripped. The amenities are good. Replacing worn features in the rooms would be a plus.
- 3/5
Checked in and the room/bathroom was not cleaned. Trash bins not emptied & there's food stuff on the floor. Used towels everywhere. New room AC wasn't working well. Just left the sliding door ajar coz we didn't want to change rooms anymore as we were tired and wanted to get settled. Dec 26th, was told breakfast starts at 6am. Waited 45 min and when front desk was asked stated " I guess its 7am today" Restaurant staff/servers friendly and efficient. Ample parking. Beautiful Christmas setup in the lounge. Great breakfast selection.
- 4/5
Very comfortable, nice bar area with decent food, breakfast and coffee were great. Starbucks is across the street and right down the block from Santa Anita race track and mall. Convenient access to the metro
- 4/5
Staff and the room was great.. i loved the happy hour drinks and snacks!
- 5/5
The room was spotless; the indoor pool was warmed to 70°F. The jacuzzi was very warm. The breakfast buffet was good, especially the select your own omelette, made fresh by the cook at the omelette bar. 😀
- 5/5
Very good
- 2/5
- One elevator the entire stay - A full parking lot that was dark with unhoused folks walking through it - My room after being cleaned the house keeper NEVER left toilet paper - every evening when I came back to my room I had to call the Front Desk and ask what happened and why - the thermostat did not work my room stayed cold at times freezing..to the point I am now fighting cold and sinus infection bc of the cold - clean linen for the pull out bed was never replaced -the breakfast was too crowded and spread out, not enough seating, and staff to assist I paid a lot of money and I was disappointed!!!
- 5/5
Clean just a little outdated
- 4/5
Good breakfast with variety of selection. Staff was responsive to our issues. Room is clean, have all he amenities described on the web site. Check-in and Checkout was painless. Plenty of parking space available. Many restaurants near the hotel within walking distance. Shopping Mall nearby. Could use improvement: Room is a bit outdated but clean. Sofa bed seems worn but usable. Pool needs more towels replenishment at times.
- 3/5
Check in and check out was easy. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Hotel is located near freeway entrance and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast buffet was good. Our room however had a very strong cigarette odor. It felt humid in the room. The air conditioner didn’t seem to cool the room. The shower head had to much water pressure. Water would go through the shower curtain and wet the floor. Lastly the sofa bed mattress was uncomfortable and it would squeak every time we moved.
- 5/5
Great indoor pool and gym
- 2/5
The room had a musty smell, looks like the walls and carpets need to get repainted, the pillows should’ve been replaced five years ago, the bed was lumpy, air-conditioning, didn’t work,
- 5/5
Had great time
- 1/5
Our room had no heat I had 5 maintenance visits. I left a day early because it was aweful Never going back again Beware they make up lies about your room they said we smoked and we DONT SMOKE ! A way to get an extra $300 cash from you without pulling a gun and robbing you. DONT USE THIS HOTEL
- 4/5
Clean and spacious rooms. Very nice buffet breakfast
- 5/5
Breakfast was great. Very standard for Embassy Suites, which is known for extensive breakfast options. Interior decor was great, also expected from an Embassy Suites hotel. Great location.
- 3/5
The breakfast selection was good.
- 5/5
Spacious room, great breakfast, excellent service
- 5/5
The room was big and clean. Your staff was outstanding. If we are in the area, we will definitely stay again. Thank you.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing about this hotel! Room was clean, service was excellent, bfast was delicious! Thank you
- 1/5
Woke up with what looks like bedbug bites.
- 2/5
Bathroom was dirty. The bathtub basin is peeling. Black mold on the ceiling. Toilet does not flush well. Killed a cochroach.
- 3/5
Staff response
- 5/5
Nice place
- 3/5
Stayed in a two queen suite accessible room. Property is nice. Service, worst! After a very tiring day I called housekeeping (I think the front desk answered my call). I requested a comforter for the sofa bed. The lady said they DO NOT PROVIDE COMFORTER FOR THE SOFA BED. Sh
- 5/5
yes
- 4/5
Great locatio
- 5/5
Chris at the front desk was wonderful. He wss pleasant, efficient, and generous by offering us two bottles of water for our room. It was a happy way to start our stay.
- 4/5
Staff members were very helpful and attentive.
- 3/5
Room was slightly dirty at check in and the room smelled like cigarettes
- 4/5
Not very well serviced, breakfast was so-so
- 5/5
The stay was overall amazing & above my expectations. The room was clean, the staff was absolutely amazing (friendly, helpful, always available & happy to help). The breakfast was delicious & had great selections. The only “negative” thing about the breakfast was that there wasn’t any gluten free options for bread/pastries & the meat proteins were only pork (for being in that area i would think they would’ve offered Turkey sausage/bacon, however the restaurant offered plenty of GF options for dinner) but that was my own personal opinion. They breakfast staff kept everything clean & fully stocked. The restaurant’s food was delicious, delivered hot & fresh. I recommend ordering!! The general areas & pool were always clean. Parking was secure & we felt safe in the hotel. When I go back to the LA area I will definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
All is good
- 5/5
Rooms were clean. Front desk staff were kind and friendly.
- 5/5
Freebies was only wine options, no cocktail for happy hour unfortunately
- 5/5
Clean and staff was friendly and helpful
- 4/5
The only complaint that I may have is the smell of the room
- 4/5
Restaurant and housekeeping staff were very kind. The front desk were also friendly, however, this morning I just needed a little more time past check out as my daughter was not feeling to good. I called the front desk to ask if it would be okay to che k out a little past 11am. I was told NO because the hotel was sold out tonight. I was disappointed and I felt the gentleman at the front desk was In compassionate. 😔. If it was not for that experience, I would have raved about my stay. I have always had excellent service at the Glendale Embassy Suites.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 1/5
I was charged for unknown parking fee $25/day. Hotel.com app didn't mention about extra cost, which is parking fee. After the trip i talk to ""live" chat , they saud there was a description of $12 parking. I never saw this description on the reservation app... i told them about poor customer service, then, they said me to send them the proof durin chat mode. of original itinerary, which is not possibl
- 4/5
The room was clean and we did have housekeeping while we were there. The staff was great and ver accommodating. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that we did have some ants in the room. It wasn't an issue for us, because we stayed for such a short time.
- 2/5
Ants all over the room
- 2/5
I originally booked the room for 3 nights. I wanted to leave by the first day due to no A/C. We informed the front desk and they gave us two box fans. As a family of five I highly don’t recommed staying here. The only good thing was their breakfast.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Yes everything is so good.
- 1/5
This is not the Embassy Suites of the 1990s or early 2000s anymore, it’s a slum now. The rooms are filthy, so nasty that I had to cancel a 4 day stay after 1 day because the hotel is dirty and run down. I had the misfortune of first being assigned to a 2 queen bed suite and it was sour. The bathroom smelled like rotten butt. There was obvious dirt, grime, and filth every where. The room was dusty and smelled of old smoke and despite being on the 7th floor I had audio of whatever was going on at the pool. The first room was unacceptable, I called the front desk they were apologetic and offered me a transfer, reluctantly I accepted. While on my way to get new keys a man who seemed to be a long term resident, most likely someone displaced because of the wildfire had just left happy hour with a plate of gold fish crackers, Chex mix and peanuts with a glop of spinach dip appeared from the elevator devouring his concoction with a fork. I was terrified. I avoided him that time but that didn’t stop him from standing and watching my movements from the top of the 4th floor as if I was in an episode of Oz. I grabbed the new keys from the apologetic front desk clerk and proceeded to move my items with the bell cart, after an hour or so I made it to my new room that was surprisingly worse. The new room was on the 5th floor, it wasn’t as dusty as the previous room but the linen reeked of old smoke, it was like cigarette smoke
- 5/5
Staff, amenities and price are what stood out
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 1/5
Checked into or double queen suite Monday evening and left for a family Birthday dinner. Upon returning to our room about 10:30 pm, we proceeded to unpack and get ready for bed. We began to smell a strong, sickening hydrocarbon odor that appeared to be coming through the heating duct. Called the front desk but got no answer. Went down to the front desk and an employee was there. Told her of the odor problem we encountered. She was going to offer us another double queen suite but realized there were no others available as she said they currently had 24 rooms out of service for maintenance. She also suggested that the smell we were experiencing could have been coming from some of the rooms that were having maintenance done. With no double suite rooms available, we packed up after midnight and left to find another hotel in the area that could accommodate us. We were given a full refund on our room, but it was a very disappointing experience as it might have not been
- 4/5
Great clean room great coffee options
- 5/5
Loved my stay here! Great staff that worked as a team. Amazing breakfast-cooked to order and spacious sized suites. I would stay here again!
- 5/5
Thank you room was clean the staff was friendly and everything went well
- 5/5
Friendly front desk staff
- 5/5
The beds are to die for. Great mattress and pillows. The breakfast is a great perk of staying the the Embassy Suites. Will always look for these hotels first on our stays
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff
- 2/5
I had to request another room due to a urine smell, in addition to not so friendly front desk staff. I’ve stayed at this hotel several times but this stay was disappointing.
- 4/5
sit down Dinner service tooks so long.one hour to wait for food
- 5/5
Bar gave adults 2 free drinks each night with happy hour. Room was tended too every day breakfast had many options
- 4/5
the room was ok, little outdated, clean but has a damp smell. the location is great so overall good stay. we will consider staying at this property again.
- 3/5
They would not give me my Hilton reward points as we did not make our reservation directly through them, but through hotels.com. I guess it’s a new Hilton rule which I am not pleased about! After I explained what happened in the tub and told them Hilton should do something for me, the girl took off the $15 a day parking fee which also did not make me happy to pay such a fee. At least they took that fee off and I appreciated it. Anyway, not sure we’ll stay there again. I do have to say, though the breakfast was fabulous the best thing of all.
- 5/5
I love the rooms.
- 5/5
Great staff. Good breakfast. Very pleasant.
- 4/5
Staff and breakfast, but our room smelled smokey or musty. Could smell it every time we entered the room.
- 3/5
Front desk work, not professional
- 4/5
Incredibly gracious check in, the free drinks for happy hour and snacks were a welcome surprise, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. We got to swim in their deep and heated pool, with no shortage of towels. I will take off a fraction of a star for the old mattress that was worn out, but other than that a perfect stay.
- 4/5
Nice view inside hotel, great breakfast, room suite was very spacious
- 4/5
Friendly staff, good location, great suite but the living room needed cleaning along with the sofa. The bedding was wonderful cotton sheet s.A wonderful breakfast. Sad to see that you must charge for parking.. I feel its unnecessary by the Hilton property company to the rewards members.
- 4/5
Staff was kind, breakfast was awesome
- 5/5
Staff was great. Parking was charged for but was very limited
- 5/5
Though a small thing it is worth mentioning. The garbage cans in the rooms are so small. I hate leaving a mess for your team but also dont care to put a little here and a little there. Maybe one can a little larger and the rest can be the ice bucket size. lol
- 2/5
Staff was nice but the room was not wheelchair accessible.. i had to help carry my dad to the restroom. When i booked it i choose accessible. But the room that we were given was not and they said the other wheelchair accessible rooms were taken.
- 5/5
Great location and amenities, we really enjoyed our stay
- 4/5
One thing that's not as pleasant as expected is the smell of smoke / weed in the room - not sure from outside or nearby rooms.
- 5/5
The room was very clean. The staff was friendly and the breakfast had a lot of great options. The made to order omelets are good.
- 5/5
Sophea (with a phe ha ha) was amazing. She got us in early, was very friendly and funny. The omelette was delicious.
- 5/5
Healthy choices for bfast n very friendly staff.
- 5/5
The options were good and they offered a good variety of drinks for the cocktail hour.
- 5/5
Nice and clean hotel.
- 3/5
Overall, the property was great and clean. The staff was nice and friendly; however, our AC unit was not working, and the only resolution the staff offered was a fan for the room instead of changing our rooms.
- 5/5
excellent breakfast selection and make to omelet
- 3/5
There are Oder in both our room n very noise during night time! Breakfast ok! Staff wasn’t that friend especially in the breakfast area
- 5/5
The staff was amazing. The rooms were big and accomodating. We enjoyed it all.
- 3/5
shower gel etc were not filled
- 5/5
It was amazing the house staff were helpful the waiters and cooks at breakfast were amazing. Those women cooking worked tirelessly everyday for us. Wait staff went above and beyond for us.
- 4/5
It was a good friendly atmosphere 😎
- 1/5
AC in room was not working. Told front desk they did nothing the first day. Next day they said they will send a technical but didn’t. Instead they sent a fan. Requested room service for a day they had missed and they agreed to and someone but never did. Front desk staff does not follow through
- 5/5
Centrally located, not far from Downtown LA, Pasadena and Disneyland.Room was spacious. Staff was responsive and friendly.
- 5/5
great!
- 3/5
1. Excellent buffet breakfast. 2. Complimentry daily drinks. 3. Dining options are with in walking distance. 4. Free Wi-Fi. Cons: 1. Front Desk staff is not availible early in the morning. Service staff is supposed to be availiable 24/7 to assist quests, such as check-out early in the morning to catch up their flights. Either the front desk is understaffed or the agents at the early shift in the morning bail out to somewhere, doing their personal things while leaving the front desk empty early in the morning. 2. When serving complimentary drinks, some bartender sometimes hint guests for tipping and which doesn't give a good vibe. 3. Stays at Hiltion hotels that are booked through 3rd party sites cannot be credited into the Hilton Honor rewards account. You make profit out of your guests no matter how they pay for it. 3rd party booking sites extend your reach to potential customers and customers coming from this source are considered add-on to you revnue stream. Their stays booked through 3rd party site should not be discriminated in terms of credits of your reward program.
- 1/5
All around gross! The room was open upon arriving so I was scared to enter. It was dirty and dingy, wallpaper peeling off the walls, etc. Also there was no where to park checking in at 8:30 pm—had to park in questionable spot in back-
- 4/5
Breakfast was great for a hotel buffet- refreshing to have a made to order egg bar instead of a self serve waffle machine. Room was spacious- beds were lacking somewhat in comfort but sufficed. Airflow struggled some for the bedroom, but we adapted and utilized a small fan to help. I am mobility limited, and in my week long stay could never get access to the handicap parking spaces, as the few they had were always full. And if you do not get one of those spaces, the remainder of the parking area is very difficult to navigate- stairs and slopes to get to the general parking lot. I am hopeful that ownership will consider expanding their accessible parking to accommodate for more available spaces!
- 5/5
Clean, amazing walkable area. Nice breakfast included, 2 happy hour drinks included, and very convenient to many areas and interstates. Super convenient for City of Hope
- 5/5
Staff was great food was great and the kids loved the pool.
- 5/5
As usual, the stay was perfect...we have become regulars and the quality of everything has been a deciding factor!
- 5/5
100 percent recommended
- 5/5
No complaints, everything was great
- 4/5
Charged for parking
- 5/5
great staff. Good location
- 5/5
Great place if you’re going to the Rose Bowl!!!
- 5/5
Enjoy staying at Embassy Suites when I travel.
- 5/5
Very clean and staff was very helpful
- 3/5
We got there around 3:30pm and there was some kind of event, so we were told there wouldn't be parking for about two hours. What I don't understand is how someone is going to charge me a parking fee and then not have parking available!?
- 5/5
We love Embassy Suites as a family! Indoor pool was nice, breakfast was good. Bummed we missed the happy hours during our stay due to other plans we had. Room was clean and staff was great! Parking was a bit hard.
- 5/5
The service is amazing !
- 2/5
There was no parking available when we arrived because of a “card convention,” and worst of all, there was no shower curtain in our bathroom, which we didn’t notice until the morning when we woke up and were late and had to take our showers with water getting all over the place.
- 5/5
We were very pleased with our room... the staff was nice and accommodating...our check-in time was 4pm...because our flight arrived at 11am ...we had made a request for an earlier check-in and they came through!!!! Loved it..will book again!!!
- 5/5
Very good check in experience
- 5/5
Very nice and great location. Rooms are amazing!
- 3/5
The check in was quick and easy. The room was very clean. Shower didn’t have good pressure and the mattress was uncomfortable. Living room tv had picture quality issues.
- 1/5
I needed an accessible room bathroom and I did not get that and I was not able to take a shower or hardly use the bathroom because there were no rails for me to grab on so must stay. There was not pleasant.
- 4/5
Walkable too many restaurants. Quiet, courteous service at the front desk. Guest rooms seem dated charging outlets. Need to be updated. Bathroom looks a little shabby.
- 5/5
Excelente Hotel y servicio gracias
- 3/5
Room was dirty. Had to call room service to clean. We had the do not disturb sign on but the maid knocked on the door two separate times on checkout date. Check out is 11 she started knocking on the door at 9am.
- 5/5
My family alway look for Embassy suites whenever we travels. Love the hotels and services
- 5/5
Excellent
- 4/5
A/C could have worked better. Other than that, it was a great stay.
- 4/5
The only thing that was not good was the spa. There was so much chlorine it made our eyes burn. It was one of the reasons I booked this hotel was it had a hot tub, so that was disappointing. The pool was nice. Warm enough that my daughter even swamThe complimentary breakfast and happy hour was nice bonus.
- 2/5
Roaches infested in my room, from the bathroom to the bar area, crawling up the walls I have never experienced this in my 16 plus years of world travel . Even in 3rd world countries
- 3/5
The tv was broke and blue in color. No movies. The bathroom sink was clogged. Difficult not only for us but other people waiting in line to ask how to get out of parking lot because what was given didn't work. Bfast was good and service was friendly and helpful. Happy hour was not so great. Old discolored celery, tasteless spinach dip, no cheese and had to ask for salami which I saw on someone's plate. I was down there at 5:10pm and already out of what little was put out. I ordered drinks not on happy hour because the line was crazy long. All in all my stay was average.
- 5/5
Great front desk personnel, Angelique?
- 1/5
Cheap, old, dirty and hot. We let staff know that our fridge was hot and that the room was hot. They sent someone over who told us the fridge is as cool as it would go and that the temperature in the room was set at 50 to wait for it to cool off, that it was hot because we had bearly checked in and that it probably would cool off at around 10 or 11pm. Worst hotel we've ever been to. Paid to stay for 2 night so we were screwed. Oh and the ice machine didn't work. Horrible experience.
- 4/5
Love the separate room inside and the breakfast buffet. I didn’t like the a/c making so much noise.
- 5/5
Have a great experience will return
- 4/5
Very safe area for an Iowa boy…enjoyed our stay tremendously !!
- 5/5
Staff was great
- 3/5
I stayed one night with some friends and we were disappointed in the state of the hotel. Our AC was minimal. The suite felt cramped and outdated. On a pleasant note, the staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious.
- 5/5
The room and the service
- 5/5
The suite
- 1/5
Bed bugs
- 3/5
Very limited handicap parking and very small tight parking for non handicap parking. Had to call 2 times to request toilet paper the bathroom was not cleaned properly good thing we didn’t stay long in the room to let it bother us as we were out enjoying our time.
- 4/5
The bath tub looks worn out, and drain is very slow. One of front desk lady seems not patient to answer questions.
- 2/5
I’ve been staying at this hotel since it was new. There are always issues with front desk staff as no one has ever been there even 1 year. No new a/c as always very loud. Too many pets. The bathrooms are always dirty and rife with mold in showers and elsewhere.
- 5/5
Very cool place worth visiting and coming back in the summer!
- 4/5
Property is old, furniture is also not great, sofa bed and mattress was just ok. Bathrooms specifically bath could have been cleaner
- 5/5
The lobby is very inviting! Wonderful bartender! Clean large rooms!
- 1/5
This hotel had roaches. There were 3 in my hotel room in one night. I called the front desk, they sent roach spray, which they would not let me keep. The manager was very accommodating and moved us to another room and gave us one night free, but nonetheless, I cannot sleep where there is a roach infestation. I lost 3 days of sleep because I was afraid roaches would crawl on me when I was sleeping. The whole facility also needs to be updated. I won't be staying here again.
- 5/5
It would be really nice if they served coffee at night!
- 1/5
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Embassy Suites Pasadena was shocking. This property is in such poor condition it feels unsafe for guests. Here’s what I encountered: 1. Dirty, smelly rooms – The odor in the room was so strong and foul it made me nauseous. 2. Mold/dirt in air vents – The vents were visibly caked with grime and possible mold, circulating it into the air. 3. Unsanitary bathroom – There was residue around the sink rim, a rusty shower head, and a sticky bathroom floor that clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. 4. Unusable sofa bed – The pull-out bed was so uncomfortable it felt like sleeping on bare springs. Overall, this hotel is a serious health hazard. It’s unacceptable that Hilton allows its name on a property in this state. This place needs a full inspection, deep cleaning, and major repairs before it should be open to guests. I recommend the city’s health department get involved, and Hilton should consider removing their flag until the property meets basic cleanliness and safety standards.
- 4/5
The happy hour was bad and the bartender I was not happy with
- 5/5
I like that it’s close to a big mall. In a walkable distance to lots of restaurants and little shops which gives you many choices of food and merchandise. The hotel also offer a big parking lot with lots of spots to park. It does charge an overnight parking fee but the staff helps letting out the family members that may be visiting for a couple hours. My family always enjoy the indoor swimming pool & spa that is available year round whenever we are able to re-visit and also their awesome breakfast buffet that caters our need to some yummy food before heading out on the adventure for the day. I personally like that they have their gym open for 24 hrs to use.
- 4/5
The staff and the breakfast must improve.
- 1/5
Property dictates the temperature, preset for 73 degrees at all times. You cannot adjust it lower, the thermostats do not work. The manager offered to bring us fans but we declined. Instead we informed them that we are unable to sleep at that temp and they allowed us out of our stay and provided us a refund. When were paying so much for a 3 night stay we expect to have control of our comfort especially when its 100 degrees outside. Sorry but i did not agree to help you with your light bill. Its not like you saving money has me saving money. Night stays were still expensive. Also everyone at the property has a pretty bad attitude. The bartender told my brother in law he was not old enough to drink. He just turned 24 so i get it.
- 1/5
The room was hot and not comfortable. The staff was not friendly.
- 4/5
Overall, good experience with the hotel. The only downside is parking accessibility, it is a bit difficult to get to the parking
- 1/5
There were ants all over the bathroom. The air conditioning system is the worse. The room is so hot because the air conditioner cannot be controlled.
- 5/5
Wow. Our entire family was impressed and beyond happy. The breakfast was most definitely a highlight. Thank you. We’ll be back!
- 1/5
The ac doesn’t work
- 5/5
Breakfast was awesome with made to order omelettes. Pool was big and they still had a hot tub. Updated but kept the old charm.
- 5/5
I liked the cleanliness, parking, and the breakfast
- 5/5
This is our 2nd time staying at this location. My kids and I love it. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms and common areas are clean and well kept.
- 3/5
The air conditioning wasn’t working and staff was aware and fail to mention it. Other than that they gave us a good discount for that problem. We cut short our stay from 4 nights to only 1 due to the air conditioning issue. I will stay at this hotel again, I will just confirm they have no issues before going. We absolutely love their breakfast and overall comfort.
- 5/5
Confort, nice staff
- 1/5
The air conditioner was not working when we arrived . They also failed to advise us of it.
- 4/5
My family and I spent two days here on the 25-27 July 2025. We chose the property because of the price and close proximity to SantaLos Angeles attractions. Great, clean and safe place to stay. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I Quiet neighbors hood with many restaurants. I ants won’t mind staying again.
- 5/5
Thank you
- 3/5
Have stayed at other Embassy Suites and have to say this is the first time I have anything negative to say. Staff are very friendly and the stay comfortable overall however, the carpets in the room and by the elevators had a bad odor to them.
- 3/5
Customer Service was excellent, we liked our free happy hour drinks and breakfast was great with personalized eggs. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There were a couple things that would have made it better. It was hot and the AC was not working properly. The closet doors did not close, but the main thing was the AC. Overall good stay.
- 4/5
Everything was so good and nice, but one thing which is paid parking fee $15 per night.
- 2/5
The check in was quick and easy however the room was not comfortable at all. When we got to the room the a/c was not working properly. We had to call for maintenance to fix it and it still wasn’t great. After swimming in the indoor pool, which was nice, we came back to the room to shower and the bath tub floor was dirty. I washed it up myself. While in the bath my husband said he kept having to kill these little bugs. We went to dinner and when returned there was more of the little bugs in the bathroom and room. I snapped photos of it all, went to the front desk to ask for another room but they said they were sold out. We had to sleep in the room which was not comfortable but when we woke up the bugs were gone. We checked out and spoke to the manager who said they would have someone take a look. He told me to email him any photos @ [email protected] and he would get back to me and try to compensate me for the very uncomfortable stay. It has been 7 days and I never heard back from him. I will never stay here again!
- 3/5
nice
- 5/5
This s a great hotel. The room was nice and big. The only issue was one elevator was out of service.
- 1/5
Rust in bathroom and paint peeling throughout room. Furniture was damaged and dirty.

Cons: staff is not friendly and impolite. We are walking in the lobby and a staff walking perpendicular to us didn’t stop or yield , instead almost bumped to us. There is no safety stop mechanism on hotel room door , the door slam heavily when closing, and the corner of door cut my toe. Gym is small and does not have much . No comment to breakfast because we didn’t go.

Absolurely loved everything about the stay , the only complaint would be the pull out couch but it is not a deal breaker . The staff were super nice and helpful with any questions , and just overall it was a really nice stay.

Our room was a bit outdated, there was lots of patches that you can see from previous holes on the walls i guess from other guest that made damage, bathtub bottom was peeling and we seen many rust stains, we also seen a roach in our room, it was only one but very unsanitary.

Jose and Mark at the front desk made sure we had everything we needed especially since our son is autistic and has certain needs. The lounge staff is SO friendly and accommodating! We love our happy hour time with them all! Aaron is always spot on helping with the guests! We can’t wait to go back!

The tv was not working in the living room of our room and the coffee machine. But Madeline at the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate us and resolve the issue. She had such great energy and was very helpful. We have been to many hotels and have had bad experiences because of employees. Madeline really improved our experience and will come back again. Love the breakfast and honestly staff here is great.

When I got there, Ryanne suddenly said the pool and Jacuzzi weren’t working. I reminded her we had just spoken, and at first she acknowledged it but then changed her story and claimed she had transferred me to reservations and I must’ve spoken with someone else. That’s not true. She did transfer me, but I hung up right after because I believed I already had the answers I needed. I never spoke to anyone else. She was the one who told me the amenities were available. When I told her how overwhelmed I was and that my kids were crying in the car, she kept insisting I cancel the reservation. I made it clear I didn’t want to cancel, but she continued pushing me toward that option. When I got emotional and started crying, she told me to stop cursing, as if I was the problem, not the person needing help. It was humiliating and emotionally exhausting. There was no empathy, no accountability, just defensiveness and coldness. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

The location of our room was right above the main outdoor conditioning unit which ran 24/7 and was very loud even with our sliding doors closed. Also the free wifi was not working. I kept getting the message that the internet was not connected.

It was a bit smaller than the picture but still really nice. All the employees are friendly and helpful. Also free breakfast everyday, and the food was good.
