Perfectly fit the bill for my short, inexpensive getaway trip to Six Flags Over Texas. The room was nice, clean, well air-conditioned, comfortable bed, and had a great, strong shower. That's really all I need. Ordered DoorDash one night and they forgot my drink. So I went down to the lobby to use the drink machine. It advertises cashless payments via swipe or tap, but the card reader was missing and I had no cash. I asked the manager at the front desk if I could get some cash, and he offered me a comped soda instead. Unexpected but nice! Would recommend to anyone visiting the park. You can literally walk right into the park (it's a few steps, but hey, you're gonna be walking all day anyway right?)

The fixtures in the bathroom all worked fine and water pressure was good. The lighting is kinda harsh LED cans in the ceiling. The room was non-smoking but had definitely been smoked in and smelled like cigarette smoke even after 4 days. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The AC unit made frequent weird noises but worked fine. Be forewarned, the hotel is directly across from 6 flags and you can hear the roller coasters and screaming all day. The sound isn't bad but it's noticeable. Breakfast was bananas (always at the perfect level of ripeness, a touch of green) and packaged pastries. There's a keurig machine there which is better than most hotel lobby coffee so that's a plus. Parking was free easy while I was there.

Not clean. Urine and hair in the bathroom. Door opens to the outside and doesn't latch. Loose toilet seat. No breakfast options other than cereal, packaged muffins, and coffee and wasn't restocked the following day. No staff in sight most of the trip. Did not list there wasn't an elevator and had us on the second floor when my mother needs a new knee.

While things were clean, and I might would stay here again, it's not the best place in the world. It's old. The breakfast, while not even advertised, was all sugary stuff except the yogurt. It's pretty convenient for overnight stays for Six Flags (literally right across the street from the Judge Roy Scream) or Rangers/Cowboys games. So, location is great! Not a bad stay....just an old hotel.

When I was looking for accommodations as close as possible to Six Flags I came across Ranger Inn. The property and room were clean and well maintained, plus the staff was very friendly. For a 2-star motel this was probably the best/nicest I've ever stayed at.

They wouldn’t open the pool because there has been thunderstorms 3 hours prior, even though it was clear skies and warm. Also, ‘breakfast’ was a total joke.

The room was perfect for what we needed. Very spacious and pretty clean overall. The pool was great!! Amazing location close to everything we needed. We did not use the hot tub in our room as we were so busy the whole weekend. Six Flags is literally across the street so you do get the noise from there but the property was great.

We got to the hotel around 8:00pm, easy check in. It was a little noisy until about 10:00 due to being right across the street from Six Flags but not bad. Room was cool, beds were comfortable, shower pressure was perfect. My family had 4 rooms and they were all good accept the one on the bottom smelled like cigarette smoke. I came prepared with fabreeze and it was fine. Breakfast was cereal, muffins, fruit, yogurt, coffee, and juice and it was perfect. The pool looked nice but we didn't have time! Would recommend this hotel.

I went to the Bruno Mars concert with my daughter and stayed here. The location was perfect! You wake up in the morning, and open the door and a big beautiful rollercoaster smacks you in the face--it sets the tone for an amazing day. The vibe is unbeatable and it makes you wanna have fun the rest of the day. The room was clean and comfortable and we felt safe. You can't beat the price. We will definitely be going again.

Bed BUGS, dirty room, bathroom mirror had old spit and toothpaste on it the chair in the room felt rough. Noise all night, I would not recommend this place even though it is conveniently close to six flags, Ranger stadium and cowboys stadium not much to see there though. Like the hotel they both suck.

Staff was nice, able to check in early. Free breakfast, but I woke up late so wasn’t able to do it. Only “bad” thing was six flags right across, so you hear them test the rides, but I was gone most of the day so it didn’t bother as much. Would stay here again tho🙂‍↕️

Ranger is a simple but great and affordable spot. The rooms were basic but very clean and have been maintained and updated. The beds were comfortable. Granted, six flags is literally across the street, the noise is apparent but after 10pm or so it was dead silent. I was in town for work, i’d definitely stay here again. Thanks

The view of the coasters from the room is really cool. Both my boys loved hearing the screams of riders before we walked over to the park. It is a 10 min walk to Six Flags. I wish there was a pedestrian cross walk but the traffic wasnt too bad for crossing. It was great walking past all the cars lined up to enter Six Flags.

It's always a good time when I can go here for when I travel. They treated me properly and they were able to help me upgrade my room.

This hotel location we choose because we were planning to go to six flags and you can see it across the street. It ended up being closed the days we were there though. I would stay again in the future. We stayed in room 208. Room electric plugs need to be replaced. The top plug in every outlet your cord would fall out and couldnt use them. The room was great as far as size. We had three beds so it was great for us with two teenagers. The hair dryer was broken completely but still plugged in and very unsafe. I notified the front desk so hopefully they will replace it.

Breakfast was disappointing, basically just cereal. Front desk gentleman was very kind, but accent was a little hard to understand.

The room was absolutely disgusting. The floors (hard wood) were covered in dirt. It literally covered the bottom of my socks within a few minutes of being in the room. The bathroom was even worse. The bathtub was in-fact a jacuzzi tub as described in the listing but was coved in stains and dirt. The drain plug for the tub also didn’t work. Tried using the shower feature which worked fine if you like cold or almost warm showers. The bed had lots of hair and stains on it as well. The bed set was white so I wasn’t hard to see. Went to the front desk to inform them that someone obviously didn’t clean the room from the previous tenant. The front desk attendant said he was sorry but there wasn’t really anything they could do about it due to being booked up for the night. After a few minutes of us going back and forth to find a solution the attendant gave me a set of sheets (one fitted and one regular). He stated that they didn’t have any other blankets or comforters for us. He also said that he would talk to the manager about the situation and get me a refund for the room being as bad as it was. In the morning I was informed that the refund was only 15 percent of what I had paid for the room and said he wouldn’t give me anymore back because we stayed there n the room. We only stayed because after calling 10 other hotels in the area it was clear that everywhere was booked for the night due to an event in town and it being 12am we didn’t really have much option at that point.

The only complaint this time was it seems the bathroom wasn’t swept. Otherwise the room was clean, plenty of linens and smelled good. Will stay again!

The room was uncomfortable. Bedding wouldnt stay on. Pillows were very thin. Molding coming off in the shower. We did find 2 small cockroaches. The breakfast they offer is cereal and prepacked honey buns. Oh and they didn't have cups for coffee. Walmart was 2 miles away. They could jave restocked but chose not to.

Bedding had burn holes and stains. Carpet had at least 5 spots where you could see damage from a hot iron. The toilet was not secured and when you sat down it would wobble. Floor under sink was dirty.

Property showed its age, but it was enjoyable. It was within walking distance to places to go, and the bathtub was great!

Room overall was pretty good for the price, it was a very hot day so I advise if you do plan on being out during the day make plans to go check into your room and lower the A/C down and high fan because our room did feel hot for a long time.

Perfectly located for ballgames or Siz Flags, and priced affordably, this was agood spot to spend the night in. Clean, comfy, and other than being placed on the 2nd floor when i requested a 1st floor room for mobility reasons (no elevator), it was great. We'd stay there again.

It’s a bit of an older property. If you’re looking for a quick place to stay it’s sufficient . The first room we received had the chain missing from the door but we were able to switch rooms. It wasn’t a terrible stay but probably wouldn’t stay again

Overall it was a nice place to stay. Although we had issues with our ac and it wasn’t ever fixed so we had a bucket to catch the water that was leaking. Other than that minor issue everything was perfect.

The hotel has a lot junk stuck in corners. Boxes, laundry stuff all stored around the stairs. Makes it look trashy. Right across street from 6 flaggs. It's ok at Best.

This was great location towall to six flags and Global life. Rooms were not very clean and walls are thin. Front desk was really nice and a few breakfast items.

Hotel honestly wasn't terrible but we requested a non-smoking room and when we entered the smell overwhelmed us. We aren't sure if it was from our room or the adjoining room but we did find a little something on our window seal that was missed by the cleaning crew.

We loved it. The kids felt like they were staying in a really high class with how much room we had and the bathroom was beautiful with the tub. Made it so nice for the little one. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel. It was amazing.

I liked that the rooms were always clean.Fresh towels always available. The pool was nice friendly environment. And they went out of the way to hold my luggage while I returned 26 flags after I checked out. Big thanks for that, enjoy another day at the park.

This property was a perfect pitstop on our roadtrip. Right across the street from Six Flags Over Texas made it easy to get to the park super fast!

Needed a decent place to catch a nap after a recent concert. This place popped up and checked all my boxes. Checkin/checkout clerk was very friendly and the lobby was clean. The pool looked really inviting though we didn’t get the chance to check it out. Room was spacious and clean, beds very comfortable. Grab and go breakfast was exactly that. Only negative was we could hear everything going on outside our door; people talking all hours of the night, rolling luggage, slamming doors but that happens at most places it seems. With that said, we’d definitely stay here again in the future!

Enjoyed my stay, was close to the stadium for the concert I was attending.

We just stayed one night. Great location. Close to all the stadiums and Six Flags. Basic room was decent. 2 queen rooms. Chair. Desk with chair. Mini-fridge with microwave. The property is older but kept clean. Free breakfast in the morning consisted of the basics: cereal, yogurt, pastries, coffee. Definitely a decent stay with a good price for the location.

Despite the no smoking signs posted our room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The room appeared otherwise clean and functional. The other downside was a loud horn sound that went off periodically starting in the very early morning hours. If you're not going to spend much time in your room, and don't have health issues that would make the cigarette smoke a deal breaker, it's serviceable.

Overall, it was a good stay! Downfall was there is only one staircase to the upstairs rooms and they put us on the far end of the stairs. The beds aren’t the most comfy. However, the rooms are super clean, smell wonderful and the pool was great! It’s in the ideal place for Six Flags and other attractions. I will stay here again for sure!

My check out was at 11 & right at 10:55 AM. I had one of the workers there knocking at my door trying to come in & clean. I told her I needed a few more minutes to get my bags ready and at 11:05. The manager knocks out my door letting me know check out was at 11. I felt it was rude. If it would have been like 11:30 yes run me off but less then 5 min of going over just plain Rude

Room is clean. Front desk guy is helpful and nice. Housekeeping is very courteous. Microwave and TV works fine. Phone doesnt work. The chaise in the room could use an upgrade. Overall it was good hotel.

A trip with family to see the Texas Rangers play and while we were here also went to Six Flags excellent hotel, very convenient and walkable to both Six Flags and globe life Field love the family that runs this place

This is our go to hotel while staying for the weekend at Six Flags. Always friendly staff, comfortable clean rooms and the perfect location and view of the park.

Besides no coffee maker in the room it was a nice stay & close to Dallas stadium

Parking was little crappy you couldnt get parking infront of your room. Lighting was well though felt safe. Rooms were okay but not really worth what we paid. Pool was under "maintenance " which we really disnt see why if it looked to be in good conditions water was clear .

Overall a good experience. Close enough to ballpark (25 to 30 minute walk) and right across from Six Flags - fun to sit by pool and watch rollercoaster screamers. Bowling Hall of Fame also walkable - that was unexpectedly great fun. My adult son and I spent 2 hours in there - exhibits were great and they had a couple of "Mini lanes" that we could duckpin bowl; really fun. Good value, pool was closed but they let us sit in chairs next to it so it was fine with us.

Room is fairly comfortable, but a couple of things aren’t great; lights on ceiling are only on half the room - couch, bed and luggage area, but nothing over or near the desk or fridge/dresser area. Desk chair is kind of broken and. Bathroom is spacious though and jacuzzi tub would be good if my wife was with me. ;-) Location is terrific if you’re going to 6-Flags, the ballpark or football stadium.

Unfortunately I headed to where my wallet leads me but this place is simple not over crowed and just lovely.

No coffee, maker in room, only in the office. They offer pastry breakfast, it is a nice surprise. The heater in room is not working, front desk give us a portable heater, works very well.

Service was great. Only issues were the heater needed some work. It sounded like a plastic bag was stuck in it when kicked on, and the fridge was loud. I mentioned it when we checked out and they said they'll make sure management knows.

This is an older property but I was cleaner than newer ones we’ve stayed at. The restroom was clean and it smelled fresh when we walked I the room. Front desk was nice at check in and check out. Ice machine worked and there were plenty of places to eat and chill around the hotel.

Rates for this location were excellent.

Not much to like. Just a place to stay without any special amenities. The place could be better treated for grasshoppers inside the rooms

This is the second time staying here. It isn’t a terrible place, it’s quiet, and convenient. It just needs a little more attention to cleanliness. That makes a huge difference!

Stay was good. Rooms were nice and clean. Bathrooms were niceband clean. Staff in the front when arrived were very nice and welcoming. It looks a little sketch on the outside. Poor lighting. But its really good for the price. Walking distance from six flags and just a 5 min drive to at&t stadium. Would stay again

It was an easy check in and out.

Over-all our two night stay was good. We were woken up early each morning by the AC unit making a very loud noise around the same time. Breakfast was sparce but got us through to lunch. We walked to the Globe Life Field and felt very safe the whole time. We would stay here again but not the same room.

I stay at the Ranger Inn & Suites for every Dallas Cowboys game I attend, which is multiple every year. The 1.5 mile walk to and from the stadium is safe and no problem for me. The owners are always fantastic. The rooms are basic but comfortable. No frills associated with the hotel like bar & restaurant, but I’m not looking for that. I just need a place to sleep or cry depending on if the Cowboys win or lose.

Nice location right across from Six Flags that’s cool. Only 1-2 miles from Texas Live and AT&T stadium. Typical room not bad, don’t expect anything amazing just typical stay.

It was a nice room. Bed wasn’t the best but it did have a nice big bathtub. Very convenient location for our trip to six flags. We were able to walk to the park.

Do not stay here if you want to get sleep at 4 o’clock in the morning my AC stopped working. I was super tired. Yes they moved me to another room with another AC at 4:30 in the morning at 8 AM. Some big noise started happening like every 1520 minutes Yeah it was coming from six flags right across the street then since I was up at 4:30 with the ac told me I could stay until 12 I got a phone call at 10:45 waking me up in my room did not answer then the maids come right at 11 knocking on the door. I said I have until 12 leave me alone. I literally got four hours of sleep at this hotel do not stay here.

Room was okay for the price. We were just there for a concert, so just to sleep. The room smelled strongly of smoke and there was a squished bug in the bathroom upon arriving. Staff was friendly and check in and out was simple.

2ndly, if the customer is staying for more than one night, please do not come in and make the beds and move their things. Unless requested, that is a major irritation and nerve wrecking. It makes the customer do a quick check to see if all their items are there and accounted for. Thank you but if I'm paying for a space, it has to be respected by not touching. Other than that, it was pleasant, quiet stay.

Good place if you’re going to 6 flags. Hotel did have a bug issue in the rooms. Walls are pretty thin so you get a lot of noise from other rooms and outside. But for the price and the location the issues can be over looked.

Clean on the surface. Had to watch through the night for bug to fall so I could kill it. Then I could sleep. Could not lay my clothes on nothing but ciffe table. 2 old wire hangers. Sofa looked filthy, slimy. I took my luggage with me when I went to event. Then back with me th room. Didn't feel secure leaving it in room. But the Counter Clerk was very nice. Check in easy & check out.
