Reviews
The hotel receives mixed reviews with guests appreciating its cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and proximity to Washington DC and the metro. However, there are consistent complaints about the complex layout of the building, particularly the elevator system, and issues with room amenities such as water pressure and temperature. Some guests also express dissatisfaction with the staff and services provided.

Great location. Staff was very nice and efficient. Facilities were good (though it was a little hard to find and odd to navigate since the elevator setup is unusual). Overall a very good value I was glad to find and I enjoyed staying here a lot. Great access to metro, DC, and Georgetown.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, modern, and well maintained. The room felt newly updated, and all of the facilities were in excellent condition. The bed was very comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. The entire property was spotless, and it was clear that the staff takes pride in keeping everything looking its best. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
- 2/5
Beds are comfortable and room is clean Staff lacks basic manner, facility is bad, while booked to include the breakfast it only gives a voucher for 2 while we have a family of 4. No explanation were given just asked to pay for the breakfast we ordered for extra 2 people, and the price are different from what states on menu. When I asked why not all the guests’ breakfast were included the receptionist just said they normally just give 2 vouchers per room and it’s la’ carte based (not a buffet) very unhelpful.
- 4/5
While the stay was fine overall, nothing exceeded my expectations and some things fell short. Amuse, the onsite restaurant, provided good food but was extremely overpriced for its portion sizes. The room TVs don't come with a program guide to see what was currently on. The lobby "shop" was meagerly stocked. The pillows felt cheap and didn't provide enough comfort. One of the rooms I booked had issues with its thermometer; however, the staff was very responsive in fixing it. I would stay again for the proximity to the Rosslyn Metro stop, but I wouldn't expect it to offer much luxury.

Fancy hotel, nice staff, loved the larger bathroom. Hotel parking is expensive but you can go to any other parking garages nearby. Would go again

Clean room, excellent breakfast, and good service!
- 3/5
This hotel was very clean and nice. It appeared to have construction going on so areas were blocked off. They don't have vallet parking on the weekend. Parking they did have available was expensive. We stayed once before and it was so lively. This time it was very dull.

Excellent location close to subway and 15 minutes walk to a lot of nice cafes/restaurants Nice room Comfortable bed To have warm water you need to open a tap and wait 5-7 minutes, but it is ok

The reception omid I believe was great, the second day of my visit my girlfriend found someone in our doorway that said worked there, and was scanning some QR code in the door frame, I don’t think that’s cool at all what if she was sleeping inside or whatever the case is, I should be contacted while I’m out if someone has to go into my room I have personal belongings inside The reception omid I believe was great, the second day of my visit my girlfriend found someone in our doorway that said worked there, and was scanning some QR code in the door frame, I don’t think that’s cool at all what if she was sleeping inside or whatever the case is, I should be contacted while I’m out if someone has to go into my room I have personal belongings inside

I was assigned a room that i didn’t book. The smell in the room made me sick. They apparently renovated the entire floor and the chemical odor was very intense. I was expecting better.

Nice Rosslyn neighborhood, very clean and safe. Easy access to metro to DC. Property is clean and well maintained, the staff is also very friendly.

We had multiple issues during our stay. We reserved a two queen bed room, when we checked-in they were no longer available so they put us in a room with one single king bed, for 3 people. We waited over an hour just to see if they could put together another bed to put in this room. The following day they shut off the water for two hours to fix a leak. Sometimes things just happen and its understandable but we were never offered any compensation, partial refund or anything complimentary to makeup for these serious issues. The room they put us in is even priced lower per night then the room we paid for. We are still waiting to hear back from management its been a week after our stay.
- 3/5
3 stars because I reserved a room with breakfast included only American menu not continental.
- 3/5
The parking suck
- 5/5
Staff was very good. Had a little problem when checking in Expedia wasn’t showing paid in the system and they were trying to have me pay entire stay, but the young man that was there that night was very good at what he do. Thank you Sir. Sorry didn’t catch his name.
- 2/5
Refrigerator in room did not work. Food snacks spoiled. The bathroom door hard to slide close, kept sticking. Just a dark univiting hotel space. Hair on sheets unacceptable, we used our own sheets we purchased because desk no other rooms were available. From the Marijuana smoke filled entrance we should have turnaround got back in car to visit a better area hotel. Disappointing adventure using this hotel. Last but not the least, our room was across hall from contruction and remolding storage so workers trying to their jobs which is ok but was unexpected early Saturday morning.

- 5/5
Beautiful place!
- 3/5
Not great
- 4/5
The room was great and the staff; however, the bar served me wine that tasted old
- 1/5
We were not given card for breakfast at checkin despite paying for a breakfast included room. Furthermore, we had to pay for our own parking in the hotel parking lot
- 4/5
It was ok. Located in Arlington has a different kind of lobby. Parking garage attached but pay separately. Paid for breakfast through Expedia but had to go to the desk the morning of and say something. They took car of it and gave me a voucher. The rooms were.fine. It was bitter cold outside close to airport
- 3/5
Room was clean. Comfortable. Wood work was worn. Needs updating to walk in shower.
- 3/5
Leaving early in the morning, the elevator did not work. I call the front desk no answer. I looking around finally find the house keeping elevator work but it take different part of the building...
- 4/5
Staff was courteous; clean room; room service was good, food arrived in timely fashion
- 3/5
terrible front desk who are rude and arrogant staff subpar room very small bathroom
- 5/5
Le Meridien is my favorite hotel in the DC area. The staff is nice and very helpful, the location is amazing, they have great mattresses and by far the best pillows on the planet! The rooms are nice and the bar area is a fun place to hang out.
- 5/5
Front desk was very competent and rooms were clean. Good location and lots of food options in the area. Parking is a little rough but that's a given for the area.
- 3/5
Room was missing refrigerator, made staff aware, and shower temperature would be ice cold and then next minute scald you. Other rooms had the same issue with water temp. Check in process staff was rude. Check out staff were very nice. Elevators were down one day as well. Will not stay again!
- 5/5
Muy lindo el hotel es bonito y muy limpio. Me dejaron un trozo de pastel en la entrada y fue un gesto muy bonito. Lo único malo es que hay que pagar $34 por el parqueo.
- 5/5

Not the look or feel of 4 star Mini fridge just placed on the floor like a budget hotel Not as expected at all
- 4/5
Staff pleasant and courteous at checkin and checkout. Hotel has updated look. Room was clean, although no top sheet for the bed. Just a comforter. Rooms are not soundproofed. But overall a good stay for a great price.

We had a wonderful stay. As we arrived early, super friendly staff granted us an early check in. The room was great, super clean with a very comfy bed. The location is perfect - there are few restaurants close by and walking distance to Georgetown. Absolutely loved it and would stay here again!

Nice views and not too long a walk to Georgetown.

Was perfect for the MCM
- 1/5
Worse hotel in DC. The room was cold; we had to call maintenance to fix the heat and even after that was unreliable. Bed was very uncomfortable. I got a backache. You can hear airplanes all night. The shower leaks all over the bathroom floor. Also I was charged for $8 bottle of water that I did not use. Fraud!! The man at the front desk is very rude and unhelpful. Also you need to take two elevators from the street to your room. Both the Hyatt and Hilton are better options in Arlington.
- 5/5
This property was close to the Roslyn metro and many eateries all within two blocks. Great staff and very helpful.
- 1/5
There are shops near by but i did not feel safe with the hotel and that too travelling with kids
- 5/5
Not attentive service
- 5/5
Convenient, easy access to Metro, very nice facilities
- 5/5
I loved it.
- 5/5
Nice location great stsff
- 3/5
$21! Ridiculous......wife had pancakes that were so tough they had to be cut with a knife! Thank goodness we had a comp for this meal. Staff was very friendly and property clean. The proximity to the Metro was very convenient for our trips into DC. Nearby dining options were eh....but I would highly recommend Nando Peruvian chicken.
- 4/5
I liked the hotel a lot, my only complaint is that they only left me a coffee pod on the first night, nothing after that.
- 1/5
The customer service didn’t answer the phone. The light was not working. The USB plaque is not working. I called him. They don’t answer. They come so late. The coffee was not in the room. I called the customer service. Nobody brought it. I was not happy with service and with the churches in the room I need my money back.

- 5/5
Property clean. Convenient to Metro and Guts Bus to Georgetown.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Fantastic property . Easy access to Georgetown and much faster way to Georgetown than from dc
- 5/5
The hotel atmosphere and location were truly calm and allowed me a chance to relax, while also being so close to transit and other parts of the city.
- 5/5
Great room great price. Parking was a little expensive for valet and hard to find on street parking
- 4/5

It's a nice hotel, but we had to take 3 eleve
- 5/5
Ok
- 5/5
Great stay, jacuzzi was very spacious & my favorite part of the stay! A very nice getaway for my boyfriend & I! Would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
This is my go to hotel. Always a pleasant time here. Was disappointed to. It have a small fridge in the room this visit for the first time. I wanted to put some milk in it for my baby.
- 5/5
The hotel actually starts from 4th floor, and you would have to hop three elevators from garage to your room. It is not a bad thing, but rather was a source of unexpected laughs... Lol
- 4/5
Comfortable, quiet full service hotel in a good location. Walk to anything in Rosslyn or Georgetown. Parking is a little bit of an issue as there is no valet, only self park for $35 per day. Also, there is no bell service and you enter through a motor lobby and go up to the 4th floor to check in. Overall it was a good experience. This a good option for Rosslyn/Georgetown.
- 4/5
The hotel and check in staff member are great! My only complaint is that our room wasn’t ready when we got here, but the staff member quickly remedied that and provided another room. He was polite and helpful, not only to me, but everyone before me at check in.
- 5/5
Bed was comfortable, room really clean . The staff wasn’t the most welcoming & parking was complicated but besides that , i would return
- 5/5
Very nice hotel!
- 2/5
Fixtures in the room were rusted and coming off of the wall. No top sheet or fitted sheet on the bed, literally just a comforter. Front desk staff was apathetic at best when concerns about room cleanliness was brought to their attention.
- 5/5
Je’mia at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind.
- 5/5
Loved it but didn’t like that i had to pay for parking
- 4/5
Great stay for a night.
- 4/5
Amazing location near Georgetown and DC and walking distance to restaurants and transportation.
- 5/5
The bar was AMAZING!!! I highly recommend the crab bites at the bar and any of the cocktails. The view from the room was also amazing. The staff was friendly and everything was clean.
- 4/5
Good place but a little hard to encounter
- 4/5
The location is convenient, with easy access to restaurants and tourist attractions. There are many options to choose from. The staff are very friendly, and the bed is comfortable enough to sleep through the whole night. My room was quiet on the 10th floor. One small inconvenience was that the room had an unpleasant odor the entire time we were there.
- 4/5
Nice hotel but the parking and hotel situation is not for a person with a lot of luggage and trouble walking. The hotel starts on the 2nd floor and have to take 2 elevators to get to your room from the street. If you park in the garage, you need to take 3 elevators.
- 5/5
Great place…
- 3/5
Parking in site was ridiculously expensive if you are able to look for on street parking it is limited but much more affordable
- 5/5
I had an amazing time.

- 5/5
Nice property with great staff. Urban setting and parking was not easy, but great location next to Metro and Georgetown. Great value for the area
- 5/5
Easy access to Georgetown. Great location just across Key Bridge. Walkabe area with many local amenities close by.
- 5/5
Room was clean. Beautiful decor and atmosphere.
- 5/5
Great room. Great price. Wonderful view
- 4/5
Nice property and restaurant. Very friendly staff. Would have liked a better view but city view was ok. Walkable to subway
- 4/5
Beautiful hotel. Only thing is we had a leak in our room and the floor was soaked the whole time between the the bedroom and bathroom.
- 5/5
Professional, convenient, great location, and beautiful river view. Would like to come back again.
- 3/5
Disgusting….. July 4 weekend…
- 2/5
The strong urine smell in the elevator, unpleasant front desk, uninviting attitude. The room was missing coffee maker, coffee and water. The amenities are close to none and the whole place felt poorly managed. I rented two rooms for two nights and was embarrassed about my choice. Never again!
- 5/5
Enjoyed our s
- 5/5
My only complaint was a bottle of water was $12 other than that it was a nice Hotel very clean and modern.
- 5/5
I was having a terrible night when I showed up there. The staff were incredibly patient and kind when I did my check-in. At check-out, they were extremely helpful when I asked for travel suggestions and directions, even looking after my bag for me while I explored the city and killed some time before my flight.
- 5/5

- 2/5
There was no Wifi in our rooms. During our 3 day stay we asked several times to fix it and that never happened. In general the staff was very friendly however Jemia who was a front desk members was extremely rude and al though I asked her several times for help, she ignored us. It is sad that in such a beautiful and well known hotel, a staff member had such bad manners.
- 5/5
Very nice beds.
- 4/5
Clean and as described
- 4/5
The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. I booked two rooms through Expedia. When I called the hotel to request that the rooms be close together, I was told they could not adjust the reservation to ensure this. We had a late night check in and the front desk staff was unable to give me rooms near each other. I was given one room on the 9th floor and one on the 11th. Other than that, it was great and I would return to this property again. I wish I was staying longer to take advantage of everything the hotel had to offer. The value exceeded the price.
- 5/5
Convenient location, clean room, quiet place
- 4/5
Nice hotel in a safe and convenient area of Arlington. Walking distance to Georgetown.
- 3/5
Overall, the hotel was ok, but I was on the 5th floor, which is basically the basement - so it felt like a dungeon, especially when you looked out the window. The hotel should sell this floor in a different room category.
- 4/5
The room was clean and quiet so we spent a comfortable night.
- 5/5
Nice and clean rooms. Thanks!!
- 5/5
Great stay.
- 5/5
The front desk was amazing. Ja mai? Ja nai? So sweet. She was informative and helped me check in great! Everyone behind the counter was helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet and amazing. Getting Lyfts was easy and getting picked up and dropped off was simple. Walked across the bridge to Georgetown and ate a Filomena which was amazing and lots of shopping and restaurants there. Metro to the monuments and mall was piece of cake. I’m coming back here for sure!!!
- 5/5
Great service! Very dog friendly! Right next to a metro station!
- 5/5
Very nice room. Great location. Awesome experience!
- 3/5
We have a regular sized pickup truck and could barely fit into the parking structure. There is no info on their Hotels.com ad stating the height limit of 6’ 6”!
- 5/5
Ggod value
- 2/5
Good
- 4/5
It was a bit strange that the hotel starts on the 4th floor. Our room was nice but for some reason our bed sheets were not fitted. Nice location and nice gym.
- 2/5
Check in and getting from the garage to the room were very cumbersome. Check in was on the 4th floor of the building. After figuring out where we could park in the garage, we had to get in the 1st elevator in the garage to the 1st floor of the building, then change to a second elevator to the 4th floor, and finally get in a 3rd elevator to our floor. Definitely not a hotel I would recommend or stay at again.
- 2/5
The housekeeping was negligible, front desk not friendly, facility was average.
- 5/5
We recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the city. The room was super clean, spacious, cozy, and had wonderful views. There was coffee, water, and a welcome gift in the room. The bathroom was also sparkling clean and stocked with plenty of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Don't miss this hotel; you won't regret it. We stayed in room 1121, and the views of the city were wonderful.
- 5/5
There was a parking garage, which was great since parking is crazy in the area. All amenities were very nice.
- 5/5
Great family weekend in the city. Spacious room that may have actually been an upgrade. Lots of room for our little and all of her equipment. I’ve been staying at this hotel for over a decade as I love the proximity to Georgetown and the Metro. It’s also so easy to get in without navigating the city. Hadn’t been back to DC for many years and I was pleased to see that this hotel was just as wonderful as I remembered.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Great bar services.
- 5/5
Nice stay
- 5/5
Lovely property. Staff was amazing! Highly recommend this hotel. Very convenient to Georgetown and Reagan Airport.

- 4/5
Overall great experience
- 4/5
Stay was nice, room and hotel were well appointed. Bathroom sink was too small, bathroom was small and mattress was a pillow top, really soft. Other than those items, stay was nice and staff was friendly
- 3/5
All in all a good place. Check-in felt very „impersonal“, not exactly welcoming. Also asked for a room with a view of DC, was told it’d be a room with a city view, to then see it was a room with a view of the buildings in the area. Would’ve understood if it had not been possible because of price category. The room was fine, if nothing special. Ice machine was not accessible. Overall, it’s the location that makes this a good place.
- 3/5
Hallways have a very strong chlorine/cleaning supply smell at all times. The staff is not warm and welcoming and appears bothered by your presence. Plenty of dining options in the area, but don't expect authentic mom and pop choices. It's a commercialized area. Walking distance to Georgetown across the bridge and very easy access to DC with the Metro.
- 5/5
Great property for my weekend trip!
- 5/5
the hotel was very clean and comfortable
- 2/5
I advised the front desk when checking out and enquired if they had onsite security, which they did not. Having no security staff at a large, quality, downtown property is a mistake at a prestigious hotel chain. The hit to reputation far outweighs the cost of security. Had our sleep not be ruined, we would have given the hotel 4 or 5 stars. Someone walking the halls, would have heard the noise.
- 5/5
Love it
- 5/5
Hotel was very nice, staff were great! Room was ready a little early. Very clean.
- 2/5
Started very badly, the policy was that I would’ve paid my stay upon my arrival but after getting off the plane I noticed that I’ve been charged for my whole stay without my consent. It is pretty funny because Marriot Bonvoy policy only charges the first night in a case of no show and now you’re telling me that not only they broke the paying upon arrival policy but now they managed to break they’re own?? Anyways, got into the room and I realized there was only one bed instead of two as I booked it, the smell of bleach made me really nauseous and decided to go down at the reception to complain, they very minimally assisted me to say the least. Overall bad experience, wouldn’t recommend.
- 5/5
Parking is not easy and not offered by hotel
- 5/5
Over all we, enjoyed our stay at Le Meridien! Check in was super quick! The location was perfect because of it's closed proximity to the tourist attractions in the area. It was also close to a handful of restaurants that are just walking distance from the hotel! The rooms were basic but roomy enough for a couple. The only thing is parking is $30 per night. $50 if you avail the transponder so you can go in and out of the garage multiple times a day. I was told $45 by the attendant and was surprised to see a charge for $50 a night. Other than that, i highly recommend this hotel!
- 5/5
Great place and great vibe. The Front desk staff was excellent and very informative. The Bartender was friendly and kind we had a good conversation for our night cap. The only complaint was the shower didn’t get very hot in Rm 803. All else was exceptionally well,
- 3/5
Restaurant chef was VERY slow. 1 mean was served at a time. My son ordered pancakes, bacon & hashbrowns. He received hashbrowns. After he finished, he received bacon. We waited an hour & a half and never received his pancakes. We left. The restaurant was out of bagels, lemonade, and the eggs we received we’re burnt
- 4/5
Very clean and has a nice lounge area.
- 5/5
Great facility. I would definitely visit again
- 1/5
On the F&B side of the house: the breakfast menu advertised "maple syrup" for pancakes and waffles. It wasn't. It was just "syrup"--ie, fake, horrible-tasting manufactured food-substitute.
- 5/5
They were very accommodating
- 5/5
Next to my job during the storm.
