The hotel receives mixed reviews with guests appreciating its cleanliness, proximity to metro, supermarkets, and pharmacies, as well as friendly and helpful staff. However, there are consistent complaints about broken elevators, poor breakfast options, and rooms not being cleaned daily unless requested in advance.

Bed was comfortable, property was clean. It lacked complementary amenities like available coffee and water for guests and the restaurant hardly ever seemed to be open after breakfast
- 3/5
The promise of "free breakfast" was the differentiating factor and reason we ultimately stayed here. Only to find out that free breakfast here meant a voucher for a terrible pastry. Weak.

Staff and location are very good.

I made a reservation and arrived early in the day of check-in. I mentioned I’d like to leave my luggage there and would be back in the evening to access the room. They took my bag and gave me a ticket. Around 6:30 that same day, they notified me that they cancelled my reservation in lieu of an other customer. So I got to find another hotel that evening after going back to get my luggage from the front desk.
- 4/5
The room was clean and house keeping was by request only. The hotel floor carpeting is old and looked dirty in most areas. Breakfast is provided but is very basic. There's garage parking available in the basement. Overall good hotel but they can improve on some things.
- 3/5
The location is everything There's a pipe noise coming from the walls. My sleep was interrupted several times throughout the night.
- 3/5
Bed is comfy, but if you are visiting in hot weather, do not stay here - the window AC units in our rooms didn't work very well. Also, the "restaurant" they claim to have is NOT a restaurant, it's a really terrible cafe with yucky food, but the coffee is okay. If it isn't too hot outside, then it's probably okay.
- 5/5
Amazing!

Central, Walking distance to many places
- 4.5/5
The hotel is located in a freat location. Close proximity to neighborhood stores and restaurants. Easy commute to Washington DC distric. As for the hotel, the room set up is stellar. Thank you for accomodating our stay.
- 3/5
Had to call multiple times to get extra towels, found housekeeping and was told that they don’t give out towels because we didn’t request it. I talked to the front desk about our AC not working but it didn’t seamed like they cared.
- 5/5
Beautiful room. Easy street parking. Wonderful staff. The only complaint would be that the ice machine was not working on the floor that I stayed on.
- 5/5
Very nice and reasonably priced accommodations. Rooms are spacious and located not far from the Key Bridge to go across to Georgetown.
- 3/5
Location was good The overall cost for what you got was not good. Our daughter's room smelled like someone was smoking Marijuana in the room.
- 5/5
Perfect location - well within walking distance of the metro, Target, CVS, restaurants, and other locations. Quiet area with a nice atmosphere. Would definitely consider staying here again should we return to DC.
- 5/5
An optimal choice for a few days in Arlington, Washington. An acceptable price for accommodation in a good location. Very close to the metro. Paid parking is available, but convenient. Everything in the hotel and room was of a very good standard.
- 2/5
An old budget hotel. Housekeeping is by request only, however, our we never got the room cleaned despite making requests a couple of times. The staff were not helpful at all.
- 2/5
Sheets were clean . Fun high school kids staying there Dirty, run down , elevator was not working. Coffee was terrible. It said it had a restaurant but it was a joke. Staff was defensive

The hotel was nice. The front desk staff was not very hospitable. They did not great you, which was very rude. They had no warm personalities to greet their guests. They are the face of your hotel, so I would not stay in your hotel again based on their attitudes. The elevators broke down but were fixed quickly. Your rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. The cleaning staff was very friendly. I like that there is a parking garage for this hotel.

I love staying at Sonesta locations! The was my first time at the one in Arlington, VA. I love the rooms, the beds, the couches & the bathroom area. We normally stay in a normal king bed room, but this time we upgraded to a one king bed suite. My only 3 things with the room at this location was the bathroom felt a little small, the water pressure could’ve been better, & there’s no free parking for guests. Other than that, it was wonderful!
- 4/5
Very good
- 1.5/5
The hot water didn’t work, the bathroom door hit the light, there was someone else’s pill bottle and band aid in the trash can.

Great staff, parking was expensive I think 28.00 a night . I really didn’t won’t to park on streets with me being a female in this day and time and parking lot was not full at all
- 4/5
Location, value, comfort. Better instructions for requesting housekeeping service and for using tv
- 5/5
Location was perfect for everything that I needed
- 5/5
I wish I had found this place when my daughter started college inDC, instead of her graduation weekend.
- 4/5
Location, value, comfort. Better instructions for requesting housekeeping service and for using tv
- 3/5
Cleaning staff very noisy in the early morning hours
- 5/5
The staff was nice and the place was clean.
- 5/5
Nice area that was very walkable. Plenty of food choices close by. The area is close to the subway. No breakfast unless you want to pay for it.
- 5/5
Room was clean, the staff was very helpful
- 3/5
There were ants all over. We got in late and went to bed and woke up to ants all over the table top and some on the bedsheets.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay there. Thank you.
- 4/5
Great option for commuting into Georgetown and Foggy Bottom. Clean, basic but spacious room worked well for our family of 4. The front desk was helpful but the hotel seemed a bit short-staffed. No free continental breakfast; the small “cafe” downstairs had limited menu and was overpriced. Parking was safe and convenient (underground garage connected to hotel, need room card to access) and decently priced $30/day with in and out. We didn’t really explore the area (Roslyn) but seemed pleasant and safe enough. Overall, a fantastic choice for easy access to DC without breaking the bank!
- 5/5
Staff was courteous, room as clean.
- 5/5
We got there later than expected and Papa was amazing at check in!!
- 5/5
Great location and staff. Clean and not crazy noises either
- 5/5
all good!! Thanks.
- 1/5
There were power tools in the bathroom, which made me believe they were left there after work was done in bathroom. I thought nothing of it because I had a guest at the moment. I received a call from the front desk telling me that my bathroom was not working and someone was actively repairing it and then she would have to give me a different room. Before I could finish packing to leave a Staffen had entered my room with one knock and no waiting for an answer. It was extremely embarrassing.
- 5/5
Breakfast and parking was good but expensive to park
- 5/5
great location
- 3/5
You need to ask everyday for them to make the bed or the room. If you don’t ask they don’t.
- 4/5
In town for a work conference. The hotel met the needs and the rooms were comfortable.
- 5/5
The snack-bar breakfast area needs an upgrade..NOT enough choices for this location..
- 3/5
Staff was not that friendly. Also, air conditioning system in my room would only cool 1/2 if of the room and the mattress was so soft, I felt like I was sinking
- 5/5
Great location, parking available for our Wrangler, quiet, and comfortable. Overall wonderful experience. Jeff went above and beyond when we woke up to a warm fridge. Sadly the breakfast we had purchased was ruined. Thank you Jeff.
- 4/5
Helpful staff. This property would have gotten more stars had water been provided for the in-room coffee maker. You had to use faucet water or buy your own (@$5 a bottle—yikes!).
- 3/5
$6 continental breakfast was extremely deficient with no offerings for food allergies. No decaf coffee. Choices other than the continental breakfast required an extra fee.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay. We didnt care for the breakfast. Not enough choices and the coffee was Starbucks which we dont like. So we found other places to eat. The front desk people were great, very helpful and friendly. They helped us find a restaurant and gave us walking directions. We had to ask to have our room cleaned which I thought was irritating. We stayed for a week and feel there should be housekeeping service every day without asking. So of the 8 days we stayed, we got housekeeping to come in 5 of the 8 days, so we left $25 tip for $5 per day that they actually came and cleaned. When they did come they did a good job and we were grateful to have a clean room and towels when we returned for the day. My biggest problem was the bed. Although comfortable, it was so high off the ground that I needed a step stool to get in it. Im 5'2" and that bed came up to my waist. I could not get into it without a boost, and there was nothing to step on. So that was a little difficult. We also had to pay quite a bit for parking, its NOT free. We enjoyed our stay, but that bed was a deal breaker for next time.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with a great comfy bed. Secure parking underground (although it's costly at $29/day). Only issue was that the hotel website reads that Georgetown University is a 15 minute walk which is why we chose this hotel; it took us over 30 minutes. We would have chosen a closer hotel had we known. Of course, we would have also loved to have breakfast at the hotel.
- 3/5
No water provided in room. $5 for bottled water in lobby. Breakfast is not free. Only one mirror in room, no full length mirror. We selected a king bedroom room and they put us in a handicap accessible room which was fine however the shower had a removable shower head which was adjustable but if you are over 5ft tall you will not fit under it and will have to hold the handle the entire time.
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful and helpful. The beds were comfortable.
- 5/5
Our bathtub faucet constantly leaked and there was women's hair all over in the bathroom and vanity area. Location was convenient for what we needed, but that was about it.
- 5/5
No
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, accessible parking.
- 5/5
Clean room/ friendly staff/ easy check in and out.
- 5/5
Hotel and room were clean, hptel was conveniently located, safe area. Parking was reasonably priced, convenient and plenty of space
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Check in was super easy and the staff very friendly. Room was clean and very comfortable.
- 5/5
Everything was nice
- 3/5
According with the price.
- 5/5
Accessible room was exactly what we needed.
- 3/5
The breakfast menu is sparse; better to walk a few blocks for much better options.
- 5/5
The property is clean and located close to a metro station. It is a short ride to get to DC.
- 5/5
Close to all areas.
- 5/5
Great !
- 5/5
Helpful staff
- 4/5
The staff were friendly. The lobby is in excellent condition and a very nice space . The lobby Starbucks was only open in the morning and we got travel cereal, muffins and a macchiato. All good quality. The room surprised us on how tight it was. There was too much oversized furniture for the space. While there was a long couch with an mega foot rest, you literally couldn’t walk anywhere. And on the couch were a ton of large throw pillows that just cluttered the space further. The bureau closet was tilting/not straight which my daughter pointed out right away. The bed was very very high. The shower pressure was strong, however the bathtub/shower had some rust developing. Not a lot of sink counter top space. No housekeeping and tiny trash cans. (But Was easy enough to get extra towels from front desk). Not a well stocked lobby store but cvs close. After the first night we realized our room door didn’t lock. Anyone could come. We told the front desk and within five minutes they fixed it. The on-site garage was … a garage. But I appreciated the security required to access. There was also a lovely scent in the lobby — reminded me of the fragrance marketing Disney uses in their hotels. Ultimately a successful stay for our trip: convenient enough, clean enough and safe enough. Staff were great.
- 5/5
The staff did NOT acknowledge anyone who walked in the door. They kept looking at their phones and the monitor. I always had to say hello to them before I'd get a responce.
- 2/5
The room was marginal. Shower ceiling peeling, poor lighting in bathroom area. Very disappointed
- 3/5
Good rate, service just OK
- 5/5
We stayed two nights . The Rooms were clean. It had all the standard amenities, hair dryer, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower, small soap and lotion. We parked our rental in the parking garage for additional fee. We UBERed to the monuments and museums in DC and it took about 15min. There is a Target and a grocery store in walking distance. There is an eating area in the hotel open in the morning for a few standard breakfast items for additional charge. The food was good. Our overall experience was great.
- 5/5
Great location, nice walk to the Subway station, bus stops close by, & great food options all within walking distance!
- 5/5
Free breakfast was not provided as originally advertised.
- 5/5
The front desk staff was very polite, and knowledgeable about the surrounding area for food recommendations, and in recommending safe walking routes to go around town. The room we got had an excellent view. The secured parking lot was a nice feature, and was very convenient.
- 5/5
Best property I have stayed at A++++
- 4/5
I enjoyed my stay here. Beds are super comfortable.
- 1/5
Didn’t stay
- 5/5
Great Hotel
- 4/5
Nice place
- 4/5
Did not use gym. What kitchen?
- 4/5
Nice place to stay
- 4/5
Overall is great but floor in the bathroom is very cold and there is no electric kettle.
- 5/5
Smooth early check in, cleanliness
- 2/5
Had to run the water for 30 minutes to get it to lukewarm. Management’s response was it just takes a long time to get there (really? On the 5th floor?) Heater did not work the first night and even though I personally requested room service the second day it was not provided.
- 5/5
yes
- 5/5
Nice clean room. Friendly staff. Lots of local restaurants
- 5/5
the room was clean
- 3/5
Staff were really nice and made easy to check in, location is good, it has a target and food restaurants walking distance, however breakfast was only for 2 people even though we booked a suite for 5 people and it only included yogurt, a drink and snack size stuff.
- 5/5
The room was clean and the check in clerk was wonderful. She was very polite and welcoming.
- 4/5
Everything was fine, except for the TV, which didn’t work.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Hotel conveniently located to a metro hub.
- 5/5
Thanks for the hard work
- 5/5
Clean & quiet
- 5/5
Excellent location; close to restaurants and Metro. Clean, quiet rooms. Used the gym an it was good for my needs. This was my second stay and I would come again.
- 4/5
Room was great, but they don't have daily cleaning. Gym was good, though small. The breakfast was disappointing. A guy behind the counter gives you the option of pastries, yogurt, juice, and coffee. No protein.
- 5/5
Essentially no breakfast, but options nearby
- 5/5
I feel very safe and comfortable here. The staff is amazing. Beds are comfy and clean.
- 4/5
No breakfast. Nice staff- surprised there was dog in a room on my floor!
- 4/5
It’s a bit older but there is always parking, quiet and clean, and good eating spots in close walking distance.
- 4/5
.
- 5/5
The care.
- 4/5
The beds were very comfortable and the staff was friendly!
- 5/5
The front desk check in was easy and pleasant. The room was spotless and extremely comfortable; the small sofa was quite comfortable and I enjoyed watching a movie from it on the large TV. Plenty of towels; pillows and an extra blanket. I can recommend the Sonesta without reservation - pun intended!
- 5/5
The hotel was delightful and close to everything we needed. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast too! We re definitely, coming back and will be repeat guests! Bravo to everyone! David
- 5/5
The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful. Having a parking garage attached is great!
- 4/5
Quiet safe neighborhood. Local restaurants.
- 4/5
The hallways could definitely be cleaner. Hotel could use a little spruce up overall
- 5/5
Friendly Staff
- 5/5
Good location. Close to my jobsite in Georgetown. Super friendly staff. Convenient parking. District Taco, Target and CVS right next door.
- 4/5
And an elevator that had popcorn crumbs for 2 days …. But the staff is friendly and the location is good
- 4/5
Room was good, staff nice
- 5/5
Excellent location, clean, great staff
- 5/5
Despite the construction on the exterior of the building, the stay was quiet. The rooms were confortable and the staff was very friendly.
- 3/5
Room was clean but not thoroughly. Construction started at 8am.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful! Room was a good fit for what we needed and spacious
- 5/5
This is a very cool hotel, very close to Rosslyn metro in a great neighborhood - although a bit of a climb with luggage. The staff was extremely accommodating and the lobby area is a great place to chill and unwind. They also offer luggage storage which was very helpful.
- 5/5
The lights by the bed were not really functioning. Other than that my stay was great!
- 5/5
Everything was clean and tidy, and the receptionist was respectful and attentive, even though I don't speak English.
- 5/5
Large room size, great facilities, friendly staff.
- 5/5
The hotel and room was great. However the caffe shop was terrrible services caffe cold and the sweet rolls was frozen inside. Terrible
- 5/5
The room was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and answered any questions that were had. The hotel is walking distance to the Metro station.
- 3/5
The hotel was very loud with crowds of people everywhere. They even had cornhole games set up in the lobby. The group mentality of crowds limited the use of the lobby and made the hallways really loud. I could hear every conversation in the halls and music playing in nearby rooms and I really had a hard time sleeping with so much hallway noise.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable for a one night stay. Good value.
- 5/5
All I can say is I will retire
- 5/5
It was during the government shutdown so a lot things were closed
- 5/5
Great room great location. Easy to get into the city from here
- 2/5
It would not have been a bad place to stay if it wasn’t for the poor security and someone running hookers out of the room next to ours.
- 2/5
No customer service efforts. First night-upon check in- we stepped in multiple very wet spots on carpet. They said due to construction and did switch our room-which was appreciated. 2 days later we Asked for housekeeping (which you must request). They left our room with no toilet paper, Kleenex, or coffee pods. When asked for these items they said we could come to the front desk to pick them up-at 10pm. Upon checkout we requested to leave our bags for 3 hours-they refused saying they had no room and “we aren’t a luggage holding facility”. I have never had a hotel refuse to hold bags before! The area is very nice, but we Will NOT book this hotel again! Do not recommend
- 5/5
The stuff is amazing, the frint desk men,the coffee maker men, every one so nice and helpful. The garage is dirty and could be cleaner so dusty
- 3/5
Rooms were out
- 4/5
Perfect location for all of Roslyn and easy access to DC and airport. Big comfy beds!
- 3/5
A/C unit was old, loud, and barely worked so it was pretty stuffy in the room most of the time. Pillows were thin and very uncomfortable. Bathroom was fine but very dated looking. I did not feel the quality matches the price I paid.
- 3/5
Room cleanliness: dust on clock and headboard of bed. Ripped wallpaper on bathroom wall and mold in shower tile. Musty smell in room. Team. Upon departure, the woman at the front desk was applying her makeup. I thought this was inappropriate and unprofessional.
- 5/5
Fairly clean room, some issues with wallpaper and odd stain on the wall in the bathroom. Really nice stat overall, no free breakfast, and not much info about paid breakfast
- 5/5
One of the most comfortable beds ever! Quiet, clean and close to transportation. We based out of here for college visits and would stay again - great hotel!
- 5/5
Checking in was quick and friendly. This was an overnight site seeing trip with early arrival and late afternoon flight out. It was particularly helpful to be able to leave our bags in the morning before check as well as leaving them after check out Saturday morning so that we could site see without worrying about our luggage during the day. Room was clean, quiet, plenty of towels, and comfortable beds.
- 5/5
Great place to stay at.. convenient walk to metro
- 5/5
NONE!!!
- 4/5
Nice hotel. Should have to use a mobile key to get up to your floor. Staff was pleasant. Also when there is a huge group of students staying at a hotel they should not be placed with other guests. It was extremely noisy and disturbing.
- 5/5
As expected. Nice place. Great parking. Restaurants within short walk at night and felt safe. Coffee was good but restaurant was not really a restaurant. It’s a place to sit with a couple small options. I was expecting a full service restaurant. It wasn’t open when I checked in at 7 pm. Comfy clean bed. Overall, great place.
- 5/5
everything great!
- 4/5
Good
- 2/5
The outside of the property was under renovation. This should have been mentioned when I booked. It impacted the quality of the stay because I had to keep the drapes closed during the day.
- 5/5
Good location
- 3/5
That is not a nutritious way to start the day, especially for guests staying several days. People don’t mind paying for breakfast, but there should be more variety and healthier options available. This is definitely an area where the hotel could improve significantly.
- 4/5
Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Walkable area. Great transportation options.
- 5/5
fine
- 5/5
Perfect location for our trip!! Close to our Sons apartment and the venue we were going to!! The safe carded parking was awesome. Beds were so comfortable!!!
- 5/5
It's not swanky but the bed, linens and room were all very comfortable. Great location!
- 3/5
Room needed help especially the bathroom. Service was fair- Only one person at front desk who would go on break and leave on break and noone was there at front desk to help customers. Had to wait a few times for close to 15 minutes to get help.
- 4/5
Advertising breakfast served daily is misleading. Most travelers assume this means free, continental breakfast. This was actually an amenity we considered when booking our stay.
- 5/5
Great hotel in a great location. The staff was responsive to my questions and needs.
- 3/5
A well Locatel hotel. A bit expensive for the value
- 2/5
Had blood on my carpet
- 4/5
Best area near DC, will return and stay at the same hotel. Very good experience! Will tell friends and family about it.
- 5/5
NA
- 5/5
I liked everything and it was the second time staying with you!
- 4/5
Close to Georgetown and Arlington shops such as Costco/target etc. Would definitely stay again. Downside is no breakfast.
- 5/5
Nice staff
- 5/5
Everything was just fine. You get the feeling the people who work there are proud of the service they provide. How nice. So unlike the race to the bottom at other places.
- 5/5
Great place if you have an asylum interview in Arlington
- 5/5
We had 3 people on this trip, and Sonesta is one of the few hotels that had a suite with two beds and a pull-out sofa with 2 separate rooms. It was perfect for the three of us. And the price was right. I will definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Hotel was overall very clean with only a few minor issues: our shower had not cold water (no matter which way you turn the water it was either lukewarm or hot), bedroom AC didn't really work (it was a suite so the main room AC worked thank god), and there was a bit of a weird smell in the room though it was somewhat faint. Bathroom was kind of small and did not have a fan, and the showerhead was not nailed down to the wall so it moved if you touched it. Service was good, and this was one of the few places that offered a very late check out (2 PM) which was nice. It gave us the ability to travel the city a bit longer before hopping onto our flight which was at 4 PM. Overall a solid B+/A- hotel and would not mind staying here again.
- 4/5
The property was right in the middle of town, there were shops like Target and places to eat. The hotel was really close to public transportation and the Metro. Overall, it was a really really good experience! And I would recommend the Sonesta Select Arlington Rossyln!
- 3/5
Underground parking was great however the elevator didn’t work all the time.
- 5/5
Great hotel, wonderful staff, in a prime area for using the metro transit system. Have to pay for parking a vehicle, but other than that 10/10! Will be staying here again when we come back.
- 5/5
For the location and price this is a terrific value
- 5/5
Happy
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
Quiet and Central location. Everyone on staff was wonderful, but I must give a shoutout to Kelvin who checked me in. He got me the best room in the house.
- 5/5
The hotel is very conveniently location, walkable from the Rosslyn metro station (though uphill, i.e., difficult if you are pushing a wheel chair, say) and near multiple dining options, convenience store, etc.
- 5/5
We loved staying at this hotel … clean rooms, great shower, and the staff were super friendly! We will definitely stay here again!
- 2/5
There is no house keeping come to clean the room. One night we don’t have clean towels and their cleaning time is limited so I sleep on the dirty sheets
- 4/5
Happy with the value of this hotel. It's a short walk to the subway station and some coffee and bagel shops. There was a problem with the shower but other than that it was a good stay. Pro tip: You can ride the rental scooters and bikes over the bridge into downtown DC.
- 4/5
Great location. Close to the metro. Less taxes than DC for food options
- 3/5
Staff was always kind and very accommodating. Room wasn't cleaned and sheets weren't changed for any of the 5 nights/4 days we stayed there. Had to ask for new towels. Toilet malfunctioned mid-stay and we were placed in a room across the hall, but still no new towels or sheets. Not what you expect from a hotel experience at all.
- 1/5
The elevators were extremely slow and very small. The room was bare—no basic amenities were provided unless requested, including essentials like soap or a mini fridge. The towels were incredibly old and worn out, practically unusable. While the location was decent, the overall experience was far from comfortable and definitely not worth recommending.
- 4/5
Great hotel.Less then 10 minutes from Georgetown,D.C.Nice,cool area in Northern Virginia.
- 3/5
On a positive note: staff was nice, the location was convenient, the beds were comfortable.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
After a week of roach motels, this was a welcome retreat. The check in staff was very nice and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. We will definitely stay in this hotel again.
- 5/5
Great location and very helpful staff. Would definitely stay again
- 4/5
Great place, freindly staff. Very high beds
- 4/5
nothing
- 5/5
Loved everything about our stay! No complaints at all!
- 5/5
Many areas such as metro and restaurants walkable.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The lobby was tidy and well-kept. My husband and son ordered breakfast sandwiches in the morning and they were tasty. The room was clean and comfortable. Our cold water in the sink didn't work correctly, however. And the hot water was dangerously hot. The location was great. Arlington is a nice area! We walked to Target just a couple blocks away, if that. Overall, we are very pleased with our visit and would definitely book again.
- 5/5
The area is nice
- 5/5
Nice & clean no problems what so ever.
- 5/5
had the most wonderful stay here
- 4/5
Clean and fairly modern. Found the bathroom to be a little dusty but the room was otherwise clean. Gyn wa well equipped for the size of the property. Breakfast restaurant wa a big rip off $47 for basic breakfast items like bottled juice, croissant, egg sandwich. $5 pint of milk was spoiled.

The staff was so friendly and helpful and it was just a great place to stay

Lovely hotel in great location. Cozy room with modest but tasteful furniture. Comfortable bed. We only stayed one night but really enjoyed the hotel.

There was an interesting moment where I was told by cashier in food area, he would see "if" the cook would be willing to fix my breakfast, during breakfast hours, but he made it himself and took great effort to make the situation right. I appreciate the follow through. I would love to stay here again and will definitely explore other Sonesta properties. Thank you.

Great location for hitting downtown DC.

Lovely spot with great views. Close to the subway station.

We were there for 4 nights and housekeeping never refreshed our room or linens. I had to go to the front desk to get linens and our garbage was not emptied for the duration of our stay. We did not have a hang tag on the door

I liked the sonesta select

Great location and really nice staff. They need a lot more outlets in the room, one was broken, and the bathroom faucet for the shower had the hot water towards the cold water and the cold water towards the hot

I didnt like no free breakfast

Amazing experience as always. Love staying at this hotel

Price value

The only not-so-good was the lack of coffee available in the lobby, and the lack of any free breakfast. The room itself and the really convenient parking, as well as the ease of getting there from Rt. 66 made up for any negatives. I would stay there again.

Gracias maravilloso y amigable. Excelente recepción

Great stay, near stores and restaurants, friendly staff, plenty of parking

I can say it wasn’t a good gesture from service members in breakfast area. Hotel was booked including breakfast and it took a while to get the passes for 2 days. Later we were asked to take only selected items for each one of us, apple/cranberry juice - 1 Yogurt - 1 Bagel or Muffin - 1 Coffee - 1 Nothing else and never seen such a restricted breakfast in US so far.. Food quality is good but the people who were there to serve are not interested or happy about taking this limited food equally for my family including 2 kids. Happy and smiling face could have helped us to avoid this misunderstanding though the breakfast was limited. We paid, you served. Nothing was free or personal that you are working for the hotel and be happy about what we have.. I will recommend this hotel for stay without doubt. Try to provide the breakfast with more varieties and increase the stay cost per night if possible. No one will compromise on food if they choose the breakfast when customer book a hotel. Car parking cost is okay, but there are lot of public parking places are available near to hotel.

Beautiful hotel, nice area. Conveniently located near a Target and Safeway. Walking distance to good restaurants, I highly recommend the Guerra Steakhouse for an excellent steak.

Everything was good, good location and good service. Thank you,

This worked out well for me. Hotel was in a convenient location and they had a parking garage for my motorcycle. Although they charged for parking, it was reasonable.
- 5/5
Wish there was a complimentary breakfast.

Exceptional staff, great room. Will return, again.

Great location - very close to Washington, D.C. and restaurants 5 min walk
- 5/5
Really great location if you’re going into DC-tram is a short walk. Parking is $28/night which is comparable to other properties, but I’d love to pay less. Great stay for us.

Our 3 day stay was perfect with the exception of an extra early morning by some loud neighbors . . . and a dog bark. Didn't realize it was a pet friendly hotel until then.
- 3/5
The water temperature in the shower was lukewarm at best. Staying by the ice machine was very noisy, those rooms need better sound insulation. The room temperature was tricky to balance between freezing cold and sweltering hot.

Always a great stay here. Nice area

Everything in DC is expensive, and our stay certainly wasn’t cheap. Overall, though, I would stay again for sure. Staff was exceptionally nice.
- 3/5
The place overall wasn’t too bad but the room I stayed in had bed bugs. I didn’t see any physical bugs but I woke up with bite marks all over my body that turned into welps because I’m allergic to insect bites. It was horrible itching.

As long as you realize that going in, the rest of the hotel is just lovely and comfy. There are tons of nearby cafes and restaurants within a short walk, and they will clean your room, but you gotta ask via phone the night before or the morning of by 7am.

The staff were very friendly and helpful for our small group of 25. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice stay!

Very satisfied with this location

This propery was well maintained and the staff was excellent! It's close to the metro and convenience stores and only a few metro stops from the Whitehouse. The price was very reasonable for this area too. I would absolutely stay here again in the future.

So much nicer than expected, bc of the reasonable price! Ryan at the front desk was very nice and very accommodating as I had a late arrival. Room was very clean and comfy. Had a little balcony to look out and breathe after a long day of moving my daughter out of her dorm. Bed and pillows were wonderful! Had a short but lovely stay!

Highly recommended

I would recommend this to any of my colleges coming to Washington DC. There's ample space and everything is very clean and organized.

Great hotel, transport links excellent with bus and metro a short hop. DC metro system one of the best I’ve been on. Hotel was in a quiet part of Rosslyn. Very clean, big rooms, staff always on hand and helpful. Only down side! Bit of a hill to the hotel from Rosslyn metro, but only a challenge if you have mobility issues. But bus stop right outside if you have. Great stay, thank you.

The staff were very friendly and so so helpful!

Very nice. Excellent location, near attractions

The Sonesta is close to the Metro and there are a lot of coffee options and stores nearby. The rooms could use some upgrades, but overall it’s a good place to stay.
- 5/5
Good location, convenient to the metro.

It's in a really quiet area.

They let me check in early. Front desk lady was very pleasant. Quiet, clean and spacious room. Great location, many restaurants and stores within a short walking distance. Very nice and safe neighborhood. Highly recommend this hotel. I came here for one night for a business trip.

Only positive, the staff providing the meager breakfast (which was expensive for minimal items) were very nice. We will not return.,,,, E

Very nice hotel however it is on a one way street and difficult to get to.

The property is in a phenomenal location and the rooms are an excellent price. However, shower drain was rusty and the shower head didn’t work properly my first day. Maintenance came that day and fixed it, but left my door ajar, creating a safety and security risk. In addition, my request a few days later to empty trash and replenish coffee went unanswered.
