Room was nice, large, and clean with pretty mountain & pool view as described. Wish lounge stayed open past 9pm and didn’t smell like smoke.

Very comfortable beds. Team members were excellent, especially at breakfast. Food wonderful. Can't wait to return !!

Would definitely stay here again

Staff very friendly & helpful. Pool area very nice .. with nice shady sitting area.
- 4/5
Location is very convenient for us since it’s near my daughter’s house when we visit. The breakfast buffet had the same food choices every day. We got tired of it by the end of a week-long stay!

This may be the only hotel I've ever stayed in that had decent pillows. And a mattress that didn't have a giant dip in the middle. It was quiet, and the little gym was nice.

Great place to stay when in Asheville!

Clean rooms. Felt safe on site. Efficient staff, though not especially friendly. Okay.
- 5/5
The manager at this location was so friendly, helpful, and informative. We would definitely recommend this property and plan to stay here again.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and well appointed. Friendly helpful staff
- 4/5
Good location and clean rooms but no breakfast as part of stay
- 4/5
Loved the fireplace and beautiful surroundings
- 5/5
Stay was wonderful. Staff and accomodations.
- 3/5
Shower was clogged and outlets on one side of the bed did not work
- 5/5
My parents stayed there during a winter storm when they were afraid they might lose power in their home. They enjoyed the accessible room with the roomy bathroom and walk-in shower. The room was nice and clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Love this hotel. Our second visit to Asheville. Great location and ample free parking. The wood-lined canopy over the front door makes you feel like you’re checking into a mountain lodge. Front desk was quick and efficient, offering us a first-floor room as we had dogs. (The dog fee was half of what other hotels charge, thankyouverymuch!) Bright, sunny yellow hallway led to our very clean room. The staff we met along the way were friendly and smiling and very sweet with our furballs. The room itself had personality! Whimsical wallpaper in the updated bathroom (step-in shower). Houndstooth pattern on the cabinet that housed a larger than normal fridge. Fun little paintings – I feel like the decorator enjoyed themself! The desk was lightweight and on wheels so I could move it where I needed to. Outlets everywhere. Comfy mattress. Four of the nicest pillows on each bed. Great heat – kept our room nice and toasty. Grabbed a fabulous dinner in the onsite restaurant. Pasta was yummy and the Chicken Cobb Salad deelish! Huge portions, reasonably priced. Restaurant staff could not have been nicer. When the dogs went out early a.m., the parking lot was really well lit. Lots to love – we’ll be back!

Nothing special. $16 for breakfast was a surprise.
- 5/5
Great location and wonderful staff. We stayed for a mini vacation to enjoy hiking nearby. Room was spacious and very clean

We enjoyed our room and the breakfast. All staff were super friendly.
- 5/5
Clean room. Staff were all super polite and helpful. Fireplace so inviting but the best thing were your blackout curtains best sleep in a while. Thank you
- 3/5
It was well decorated and the rooms and dining area were clean.
- 5/5
Quick, friendly and helpful
- 5/5
The hotel itself has everything thoughtfully covered: a 24-hour front desk, crisp smooth sheets, spotless rooms, a cozy fireplace available around the clock, water refills in the gym, laundry on the 4th floor, reliable heating, responsive room service, free parking, and even small essentials like Claritin, Tylenol, and ice cream available when you need them. A truly comfortable, well-run stay.
- 5/5
The highlight, however, was the onsite restaurant, Woodfire Bar & Grille. It was so convenient to have such high-quality food and service right at the hotel. A huge shoutout to Shaun, our bartender and waiter. He was incredible and even remembered our drink orders the very next day! It’s rare to find that level of personalized service. Every staff member I met was friendly and professional. 5 stars for the location and the team!"
- 5/5
Room very clean and comfortable. Desk staff terrific. Coffee/tea maker in 428 needs cleaned out. There were coffee grounds in the hot tea :(. Remote difficult to tune into my Netflix account but enjoyed the smart tv once we got it working. Overall great stay. Thank you
- 5/5
The view was amazing in October. Great location and friendly staff
- 5/5
Manager was very pleasant and informative. Had dinner one night in the hotel restaurant. Even though the server was working solo he was friendly and never made us feel rushed. Nor did the server make us feel unwelcome. The holiday decorations made the lobby feel home-like.
- 5/5
Our room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. Also having our dog made our trip even more fun.
- 5/5
Room is clean ,the smell wasn't good, maybe it’s the carpet’s problem, but it is good place anyway, I love holiday Inn.
- 5/5
Great staff dog friendly
- 5/5
It was good
- 5/5
What a gem! I can't express enough how wonderful this hotel is! The overall ambiance, the staff, cleanliness, bright hallways, and well thought out layouts to the rooms. The breakfast is not included in the price but is worth the extra cost. I'll be staying there again!
- 5/5
Hotel was nice and the staff was super friendly and helpful.
- 1/5
there was no breakfast unless you wanted to purchase it
- 3/5
Part of the hotel was very outdated and part was remodeled. We loved that there was a little dog walking trail in the woods right next to parking lot. Our room had mold on the bathroom walls and the top of the shower and ceiling. No one was at the front desk the morning we left. Overall ok to stay if you were passing through the area with kids or pets.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 5/5

Clean room and friendly staff. Carpet in the room needed to be vacuumed but other than that very comfortable stay!
- 5/5
Hotel was in a great location to hop on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Had a nice view and convenient to the Biltmore which was our main goal for this weekend trip. The rooms were clean and comfy with pump soap and shampoo and conditioner provided.
- 5/5
Good place if you have your pet; great location; clean room
- 4/5
nice place
- 5/5
The bed is very comfortable and the hotel is very clean. Very enjoyable 1 night stay with friends.
- 5/5
Excelent
- 5/5
Major positives: Clean, nice dog walking area, free EV charging. Main negative: front desk -- a couple of the staff were misinformed and acted like interacting with guests was beneath them.
- 2/5
Friday evening we were surprised to see the restaurant closed and that our tiny 2ice creams & 2 chips bags set us back $30. We understand there could be staffing issues due to Halloween. Having to pay $8.00 per snack item with a $2 discount didn’t seem appropriate when dining service we were expecting wasn’t available.
- 5/5
Our room was clean, staff was friendly, we were happy with our hotel choice.

Staff was great. Shawn at the bar-- busier than a one-legged man at an ass-kicking contest, yet kind and courteous. Front desk staff, all housekeeping staff... Everyone polite and went out of their way to help us. Hotel and room very clean. Cheaper than staying in town. Will definitely visit again when in the area.
- 4/5
Room was good. Staff was great was pet- friendly
- 3/5
Our room was not serviced at all. The laundry advertises that it is $2.50 for washer and $2.50 for dryer. In fact they were $5 each
- 4/5
Pet friendly. Love the back trail. Very clean. Great dhower
- 3/5
Breakfast not included. Reservation for two queen beds, gave us room with a king bed. While the sheets were awesome, the comforter was too hot/heavy - a light weight blanket would have been nice.
- 4/5
Quiet.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing! The only thing I would suggest would be to replace carpet in halls , it was pretty bad
- 4/5
In-room facilities were good. Coffee maker. Microwave. Mountain view.
- 5/5
Beautiful view of mountains
- 4/5
comfortable
- 3/5
Pet friendly. Carpets were dirty. If walking bare foot in the room, bottom of your feet would turn black with dirt in the floors.
- 5/5
Room was clean and nice
- 4/5
I booked this place solely for the view in this picture. That view doesn’t exist. I was pretty frustrated to be honest. This wasn’t really convenient for us but I wanted that view. Be aware.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Very friendly staff!
- 5/5
Everything was great. They went the extra mile to acknowledge my wife’s birthday. Awesome hotel.
- 5/5
Excellent pet friendly hotel. Lovely views of the mountains around. Helpful and courteous staff. Paid breakfast however it’s good. Short drive to downtown and River Arts District. The carpet in the room was a bit sticky, would be good if that’s something you could look into. Overall had a great stay.
- 4/5
We loved staying at this Holiday Inn. The place looks a little rundown and it could use new carpeting in the hallways. The carpet looks really worn out and a little stingy. Other than that everyone is great and I love where this place is located. It’s close to everything. The towels were very used too.
- 4/5
Clean room/great staff/linens clean/bed uncomfortable/room smelled (carpet)/water bottles should be provided in room
- 5/5
Awesome quiet spot. Older hotel but loved the bar and lounge area. My room smelled a bit but it didn’t bother me too much. Very spacious and clean.
- 5/5
This is an excellent Holiday Inn! It was clean, comfortable and convenient. The breakfast was not the usual continental hotel breakfast. There are many hot choices and fresh fruit. What makes this particular hotel above average is the Staff! They go above and beyond. Christina, Patrick and Zuma thank you for your service and hospitality
- 4/5
Too bad this doesn’t include a free breakfast like most others do
- 4/5
Pretty good hotel, very well located, friendly staff. Breakfast was pretty average considering that was not included, other than that it was good

My husband and I decided to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary in Asheville and I booked this hotel and everything was top tier. There were no surprises and the reviews are accurate. The staff was hospitable and friendly and the room and dinning area was clean. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet daily that was included in our stay; that was served in a restaurant style seating area. At night we sat in the gazebo and watched the sunset. 10 out of 10 recommend.
- 3/5
Like the beautiful view, property decor at the lobby area asking with real fireplace, nice furniture, water pressure, comfortable beds, and most staff were welcoming and friendly. Dislike the check in male person, 2nd shift, because no welcome greeting was given. Dislike that the bench swing cushions were stained and cobwebs at the pergola. Pool needs updating, stained hallway carpeting, stained carpet in our room, and no water glass in our bathroom and, thin rough towels. Despite that we paid for Breakfast, food was underwhelming, similar to breakfast at other hotel chains with free breakfast.
- 2/5
Did not smell good. Carpets in need of replacing throughout. Asked to change room and was immediately accommodated. Bed was comfortable and clean for sleeping.
- 5/5
Very nice motel very clean. Staff is very great surrounding areas was good. Only thing was is you should’ve had a continental breakfast instead of having to pay for breakfast would’ve been better. Your lounge was great. The bartender was great thank you Mr. John.
- 4/5
Around the pool should’ve been clean better. The restaurant wasn’t open the whole time we were there for dinner.
- 4/5
Location and stay was great. A big disappointment was the view from the pool is not as advertised anymore, the trees and shrubbery is so overgrown you only get a glimpse of the mountains behind. Other than that, it always all as advertised and a good stay!
- 5/5
Great stay, staff couldn’t have been better, room was very comfortable and pretty clean. One very noticeable and impressionable area needs work. The carpets in the hall and the room were very soiled
- 5/5
The property was clean and the staff were friendly.
- 5/5
Very nicely renovated hotel with comfortable beds and welcoming staff.
- 5/5
Excellent bar, beautiful aesthetics
- 2/5
It was really dirty. I have never felt like I needed to wear shoes in my hotel room but I did in this one. It smelled strange and felt damp.
- 5/5
The bed was comfortable. They allowed us a late check-out.
- 5/5
This by far one of the better Holiday Inns.Staff is always friendly and the whole place is always clean
- 4/5
This is my 8th time staying here. I really love the nature walk in back. This time I was disappointed in these things- dining room was closed due to broken freezer so had to order delivery. There is no soap provided for sink. I hate the bottles of body wash substituting for plain soap. Being this back at a minimum. The man checking me in had his earbud in whole time and kept saying what? They should not have this when greeting guests it’s rude and distracting. I also feel it’s looking run down and needs new carpet- hallways stained- and just not as nice as before.
- 5/5
This is a beautiful hotel that showcases the mountains in its decorating theme. Rooms are large and well appointed. The staff is consistently wonderful - we have stayed here many times throughout the years. It's our first choice when we come this way.
- 5/5
It was close to the COVE where we attended a conference.
- 5/5
After not staying in a hotel for a few years, I was absolutely thrilled with this hotel. Wonderfully clean and comfortable. I would stay again. Also want to give a shout out to the wonderful, helpful desk clerk that was there Saturday evening and Sunday morning. I'm sorry I don't remember his name, but you should reward and appreciate an employee that kind and so very good at his job.
- 5/5
Staff very helpful and friendly. Room comfortable and well maintained.
- 5/5
7 min from The Swannanoa Gathering. I felt safe and at home for 6 nights. I’ll be back next year!
- 5/5
Great stay and friendly staff!
- 3/5
Lumpy bed, smelly pillows, noisy hall
- 2/5
You should not allow pets in every room, it’s very discomforting for those that don’t want pets or the order from them
- 3/5
Poor bathroom. Slow draining sink. Inferior to other Holiday Inns.
- 4/5
Me and my wife
- 4/5
Great location with clean rooms
- 5/5
The staff is fantastic and incredibly friendly and helpful. There’s a really cute dog walking path.
- 5/5
Great room for the price!
- 5/5
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. Highly recommended this place for accommodations.
- 5/5
The property was clean and safe. The staff were kind and attentive. Great stay!
- 4/5
Staff was nice and pool was fun. I didn’t realize it was pet friendly, and there was a bit of a wet dog smell in the hallway, but that’s on me for not paying attention.
- 4/5
The property was very pretty and tucked in feeling. The staff was very nice! The only complaint was the bed was a little too hard for me. Otherwise, it was great and we will stay there again.
- 5/5
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. The rooms were so clean and comfortable. It was nice to get out and sit by the pool and enjoy the view and the song birds. We will come back.
- 4/5
Moderate price and swimming pool are both a plus. Wifi could be better. Desk people very pleasant. Good location and quiet
- 4/5
Large pool
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and accommodating. Thank you
- 5/5
Clean room. Friendly staff. Great bar/restaurant. The food was really good.
- 5/5
Clean nice hotel
- 4/5
Bed was old and uncomfortable
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable place. Very quiet. Good location
- 2/5
There was a dog in the room next to us that barked and whined all night for two of three nights. We were there doing volunteer construction and was tired and needed our rest but could not sleep.
- 4/5
Great location and the beds were amazing. The carpets are gross with a pet friendly hotel they need LVP floors. I would walk barefoot on it! The breakfast was okay and they charged an extra $45 for the dog!
- 3/5
Did not know it was pet friendly and did not like the dogs barking all the time.
- 5/5
It was a great stay! I was passing through on my way to my new home and got a great nights sleep. Quiet, safe, clean, and nice staff.
- 5/5
Absolutely love everything about my stay! Room is very clean and the bed comfortable. I'm traveling with my dog Goose who is scared of strangers and everything that is new to him but so far everyone who I encountered has been very understanding and helpful. We definitely will be back!
- 5/5
Very helpful and friendly staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- 5/5
Beds were actually comfortable! The hotel is always clean. We stay here almost every time that we have an event to attend in the mountains!
- 5/5
The property was nice and clean and quiet the staff were amazing and provided everything we needed definitely would stay here again.
- 5/5
Kids under 12. Will stay here again!
- 5/5
It was a comfortable room, and breakfast was very good. Only complaint, no herb tea at the coffee tea table near the front desk.
- 5/5
Pet friendly. Very nice property
- 5/5
One night stay. Staff were friendly and efficient. Shaun in the bar was particularly welcoming. Room was clean and well appointed. The restaurant wasnt open, so bar food was the only option, but it was well cooked and tasty. Would stay again if in the area.
- 5/5
Wonderful
- 4/5
Great beds!
- 5/5
The side entrance doors (near the parking lot) are locked after 6p, which I found very safe, so not anyone can just come in. The gym, we didn't use, but it had an elliptical, treadmill and a selection of free weights. The outdoor swimming pool is currently being renovated. They didn't have coffee on arrival in the lobby but they had tea/ hot chocolate. The complimentary coffee was fresh in the morning in the lobby. The only irritating thing about the hotel was that the housekeeping knocking frequently before our 11am checkout to see if we had left our room. Both times, I had told her we are not ready and she was sorry for the interruption. The first time, she unlocked herself and was about to walk in when I walked up in time to tell her we were not ready to leave yet. Having said that, we will come and stay again. This hotel had everything we needed for our stay.
- 5/5
Clean, calm, nice restaurant with good food, great staff! A solid 10.
- 3/5
Breakfast not included like comparable Hilton or Marriott equivalent sub-brand. Staff was below average, hotel facilities were Ok. On east edge of city of Asheville.
- 5/5
Have stayed before, and am glad to be back.
- 5/5
The property and staff were awesome!
- 5/5
Very helpful, friendly staff. Large room, very comfortable beds. The restaurant is on a limited status related to the September hurricane. The pool was closed probably related to seasonal. The only issue I had was the window ac was noisy/clunky in my room. Other than that great place.
- 5/5
Pool was still closed for winter and no chairs to enjoy mountain
- 5/5
We had a pleasant stay. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, beds and bedding were wonderful. We had pre-paid for daily breakfast which was very good. We would stay here again and would recommend.
- 4/5
Comfortable beds, quiet room
- 5/5
The hotel was very comfortable and we enjoyed the holiday decor. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant several times and the service and food were great. We will definately return for another visit.
- 5/5
Quiet surroundings and a walking trail. Loved the comfortable seats in the lobby next to the fireplace. There was a lot of rain one day and it mad a great place to sit and read. The realistic gas fire seemed to be lit all the time. Hot breakfast in the morning was great!
- 5/5
I needed a place to stay between nashville and raleigh. This was so convenient and easy.
- 2/5
The room was very musty smelling
- 3/5
Overall not bad. Just a few concerns, brought it to attention of front desk. Hopefully they take care of it.
- 5/5
During my stay, I experienced several aspects that significantly contributed to a highly enjoyable visit. The environment boasted a pleasant aroma and an impressive level of cleanliness, which greatly enhanced my satisfaction. The staff members were not only friendly but also incredibly helpful, creating a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. I was particularly impressed by the complimentary Dove brand toiletries provided in the bathroom, including soap, shampoo, and body cream. Moreover, the location of my accommodations was excellent, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the pink flowers blooming on a nearby tree. Thank you so much; my family truly enjoyed our time here in Asheville Holiday inn. IHG.
- 5/5
Nice bed and bedding! Quiet and good night sleep. Only issue was a dog barking at midnight but if you allow dogs you have to expect barking.
- 5/5
Friendly
- 3/5
Nice place, wish it had continental breakfast and also we planned to eat at the restaurant for dinner but they had a limited menu and had like 5 things to choose from so we went elsewhere so that was a bummer but the hotel was good, nice rooms and I’m sure in the summer that pool area is lovely.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
The charging station at the bedside table would not charge my phone or watch.
- 5/5
I loved my stay here , I originally planned on staying 1 night but ended staying 3 ! Despite the area around the hotel still showing the after effects of the flooding ,the property itself was well maintained. The staff was all very friendly
- 5/5
We stay here every year for a local event, and could not be happier with the hotel, staff, beds are so comfortable and even had coffee ready before 5amfor our early departure.
- 5/5
Clean quiet hotel and pet friendly. Will stay again
- 5/5
Great place to stay! Definitely recommend 😊
- 5/5
Love this place
- 5/5
Staff was very welcoming anything u need upon arrival they will get to u
- 5/5
Very nice. Quiet and good service. Lack of breakfast is a minus. Liked the area.
- 5/5
Veri good
