    Staff were helpful, spoke to us whenever we encountered them ( the way a Southern mama taught you- look in the eyes, smile and say good morning or hello). I mentioned the rooms were minimalist but I meant it as a compliment to style function eye- pleasing. I didn't bump my toes every time I moved around! I missed having a coffee pot in the room, BUT the coffee in the lobby was always hot and fresh and absolutely delicious.... Starnucks- be gone, you foul dishwater brand!!!!

    The mattresses are hard and the pillows are inconsistent..some have no support at all and collapse to the bed or some have full feathers in them. Either why. I enjoyed my stay and will be back.

    The rooms were very clean and in excellent conditions. The staff were friendly and very professional. I have a few suggestions rather than complaints. #1Due to the price per night, there should be updated shower heads. #2 The updated storage space looks nice and allows for more space in the room; however, there is no place to store clothing so you everything needs to remain in your suitcase. #3 Housekeeping currently includes making the bed and restocking every other day unless other items are requested. Cleaning showers, dusting and sweeping should be done everyday unless there is a request not to do so.

    When booking this hotel, keep in mind that it's Eco friendly; no microwave/coffee station in the rooms. No Ice buckets, but they have disposable cups at the ice machine to retrieve ice. If I wanted coffee, I had to go to the lobby to get it! Well, I made adjustments and everything was fine!

We got in after a long drive and Naima went above and beyond for us we were stressed out and on our way to a funeral, we explained that we had enough for the room but no deposit as our funds wouldn't be ready until the next day and she called her manager and they approved waiving it. We were beyond grateful and she was so incredibly sweet I was a mess and panicking and she helped me calm down. Y'all seriously have a wonderful employee working for you.

    The hotel was new and appeared very clean. However, about 8 hours after I left I found about 20 circular red (bites?) on my lower legs. By the time I was seen by my dermatologist they were unable to determine the cause of the red spots.

    What I didn't like was that our room wasn't very big. The bed was uncomfortable, and the edges of the bed were too wide, so my kids and I kept hitting them with our knees. The shower door doesn't close all the way; it has a small gap, so water would come out while showering and flood the floor. I had to put towels on the floor. The body wash was labeled as hand wash. The switch for the bathroom light was located between the lotion and the hand-wash soap dispenser.

    I didn’t like the fact that when I was eating breakfast another guest has his dog at the table eating, not on the floor but on couch eating at the table!!! When I was getting breakfast it was a guest in line behind me with a dog. I don’t think that’s sanitary or respectful to other guests.

    From the welcome at the counter to the gorgeous room, we were greatly appreciated with the experience. When we saw the potential other hotels we could have stayed at, it was no question we made the best decision. Even with asking for extra towels and clothes, they accommodated us with no problems. Nothing. Everything was great with little to no problems or concerns. I highly recommend for others to take advantage of this opportunity and stay a few days. We look forward to coming back soon to the same place.

    It was great to see the variety of breakfast foods available while the made to order pancake machine was interesting. Missed being served personally and being greeted by a waiter/waitress. My purpose was served as I had a business appointment close by. Location otherwise wasn't accessible to shopping/dining after dark for guests with no transportation. It's great public transportation is nearby for those guests who are adventurous.

    We stay at a lot of Tru hotels across the country and this one was lacking. Front desk was rude at check in and didnt say one word to us. Woke up in the morning and FIFTEEN cars had been broken into overnight including two of our own. Windows smashed and things stolen. Staff was unapologetic.

    We were informed by the manager on duty that the smoke alarm in our room went off. Both my husband and I are non smokers, so we didn't think "smoke" as in cigarettes or cigars, we were thinking "fire" smoke! Instead of the manager on duty investigating why, he automatically charged us a smoking fee on the room without our knowledge. We had a clog in our toilet. I informed the front desk upon our departure for a day trip. When we returned the toilet had not been serviced so we resigned to call the front desk and ask for a plunger. It was promptly brought to us without apologies or rectification. So, we plunged it. We received no bill at checkout. The claim was that because we used a third party booking app (Expedia.com) we would receive our bill through them. The problem with that was, we didn't pay the booking app; We paid the hotel directly. When we checked our credit card charges, it was then that we saw not only was there a smoking charge, the security fee was not returned on the room. My husband immediately phoned the hotel, and was accused, by that same manager, of being SEEN smoking! We were highly offended. My husband requested to speak with that managers superior, the GM. When my husband spoke with the GM the next day, he was told that they had been having problems with that smoke alarm and that the manager on duty was not supposed to charge our credit card without an investigation. This was the worst experience that I have ever had, and to think from Hilton!

    Room I was assigned was not cleaned when I arrived. I had to get another room. Ice buckets had no plastic liner. No vending machines, so if guests want a drink and snack they must pay a much higher price than if bought somewhere else. I will not stay at a Tru Hotel again and out of good conscience I will let family and friends know they should avoid these properties.

    Issues with check-in. Had several staff stated the room the was registered to me was showing vacant. I was in room 204 which was assigned to me on Friday, Oct 17th. On Saturday housekeeping came stating the room that I was assigned to show it was vacant. That afternoon I went downstairs to the desk and was told the same thing. I showed him my email for my reservation and the card that I used to book the room. But again it showed that I wasn’t assigned room 204. Later that evening I received a call from the desk about the same issue.

    The hotel appears to be a fairly new. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and no funky odors. The breakfast selection was decent however the coffee was not. Tried it at different times of the day and was only lukewarm. There’s no microwave in the breakfast area nor the room. No coffee pot in the room.

    The hotel canceled our reservation for no reason. The tried to charge my card which was locked because I booked the option where I’d pay at the property. The locked card declined. I got there and did not have a room. They did not try to call to ask me to unlock the card or try to accommodate at all. This is a true review. Please post it.

    I chose this place because it took cats, was near my destination, and was relatively new. The breakfast was great. Loved the coffee and the pancake maker. The room was sufficient, clean, and comfortable. My only issue was that there were baby roaches in the shower area. It seemed to get worse the longer I was there. The issue is that the shower door doesn’t have sufficient lining and it creates a moisture problem that invites insects. If they fix that this would be 4 star.

    First room was dirty with questionable fluids on the lamp and crust particles falling out of the blinds. We went downstairs and staff didn’t seen surprised or sympathetic to the matter. He gave us a new room and we immediately could smell a difference in the rooms. So their sanitation standards may be questionable.

    Brandon, a front desk worker, was much more concerned with his phone conversation than he was with maintaining the breakfast space. My room was never cleaned and I was there 3 nights. Housekeeping came in and tossed the comforter over my piled up pillows and left……AND I was first placed in a room that smelled strongly of mildew, with a king bed, which I requested, but once moved, only queens were available.

    The breakfast is overated,staff made up some policy that only guests who spend the night there can eat breakfast. Manager had no clue on how to mediate. Her answer is to call the police even tho i wasnt threatening. They still have my things. Waste of money and illegal keeper of my property

    Nice new hotel and got a good nite's rest. The only issue was after waking up so refreshed , I went to check out and got my head bite off by the desk clerk because She pointed to a bowl on the counter for returning my room keys,and I put them in the bowl with the paper card holder they were in. " I SAID TO PUT YOUR KEYS IN THE BOWL!!" So I took the keys out the the paper holder like a scolded child and put only the keys in the bowl while Ms. Bossy B#@tch frowned at me. What great customer skills!?! TRU story 😕

    Greeted at the front desk with a friendly front desk staff member. Check in was easy, they do ask your license plate number so have that handy if you don’t want to walk back your car, they keep track of the cars that are guest of the hotel. We were given complementary bottles of water. The room was clean an just enough for me an my fiancé for an overnight stay away from home . It’s plenty of restaurants an shops near by. We would definitely stay there again it was a last minute booking an we loved it.

    Hotel is new. Clean and cute. However the TV is basic. No Netflix or smart capabilities. Scrolling guide and basic cable. On a business trip, all I care about is getting to room and watching TV so I’m always annoyed when the TV is not good. Smart TVs are cheap. Don’t understand why all hotels don’t have them.

    We have stayed here 8 or 9 times as we travel between Chicago and Florida....it is about 1/2 way and they allow our 65 pound dog to stay with us. Great staff and always friendly. Glad to have free coffee, though we generally leave before the free breakfast. Well thought-out rooms with everything one needs

    Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating the best part of the day. Quiet neighborhood right off the circle freeway. Brand new help me brand hotel with Ikea type furnishing. Light and delicious breakfast. Great value.

    The beds were very uncomfortable. We stayed for three nights and they only serviced the room once by giving us towels and emptying the trash on the last day. We had to ask for towels everyday before.

    Breakfast was shut down around 8:50. Came down at 8:52 to minimal options for myself and 3 kids. Asked if there was anything available and was told breakfast ends at 9:00. I said ok well we still have 8 mins and she said again well breakfast ends at 9:00. So then I had to buy a milk to hold my kids over until we could grab breakfast outside the hotel. I asked the front desk to clean off a table as it was dirty from a previous guest. She said I could ask the lady doing breakfast. My response was she is busy cleaning up breakfast because it ends at 9:00 even though it was not 9:00 yet. The front desk attendant was not happy to help. She was too busy listening to her ear buds that was connected to her phone. I asked to speak to a manager but was told they weren’t answering their phone and was given a business card. Rooms are small. Would not stay here again. No one was willing to help at any point.

    The only things i didn't like was its a dog friendly hotel, and every morning when an owner left her room a few doors down from us, the dog barked the entire time. You can walk to Dugans bar and grill, great place to watch games and the wings are delicious!

    The staff, however, was great. Very friendly and quite pleasant. The lady who worked the breakfast buffet was especially nice. She truly seemed to enjoy what she was doing, greeted everyone with a smile on her face, and had pride in her service.

    There were some confusion at the front desk two different clerks charging me twice for my two dogs ( the day we arrived and again the day we check out). The check out clerk could not correct the problem but eventually two days later after multiple calls the money was returned back to my credit card account.

    Fantastic experience and stay from start to finish. Naima was the most helpful and sweetest front desk employee! She attended to our every need and was insistent on making sure we were comfortable and happy. The hotel was clean, beautiful and tucked away in the wooded area of Northlake Parkway with easy access to the highway where we were able to get where we wanted to go easily and quickly. Hotel was very quiet and clean - we loved it!

    One thing that I would like this hotel to automatically do is to leave two sets of towels in the bathroom, especially when you know that two people will be staying in the room. I had to request additional towels each of the two days/nights that I stayed.

    Upon arrival .. there was no one at the counter/front desk. Waited for nearly 10 minutes.. then googled the hotels phone number and called. Someone finally appeared.. checked in.. went to the room, and it had not been cleaned!!.. bed appeared as if someone had slept in it..the bathroom was .. far less then clean. Immediately went back to the front desk and asked for a refund.. as there was no way I trusted the establishment thereafter..

    Hotel attendant allowed marijuna smoking and extremely loud music at 11 PM on 3rd floor without intervening. As a consequence they moved us to a different floor in King room instead of 2-queen for the first night but assured us that for the next 2 nights on our reservation they would move us back to what we had booked and paid for. It was only a matter of waiting for the cleaning crew to release our room. When we checked back in the next evening the information had not been noted anywhere in their system, the new attendant tried to put us back in a King room, claiming no 2-queen room was available to us. When we insisted, Thomas claimed they had no obligation to provide specifically what we had booked but could put us on a waitlist in case another 2-queen bedroom reservation fell through. When we demanded they give us the room we had booked he unilaterally canceled the rest of our reservation and told us to leave. So they were not willing to apply the policy to others that they were applying to us. We had no choice but to book the rest of our trip with a competing local hotel. Hotel employees broke Hilton company policy as well as Georgia State laws by allowing cannabis use. We could have called the cops but decided to relax by the pool of the other hotel instead of spending our evening reporting them. Our advice is to take your business elsewhere if you don't want to risk facing what we did

    We check in and the room had dead rouches . then we have a terrible noise all night coming from the pipes . we requested a change of room they did not have any and we could not cancel and leave because they will charge us anyway . Next day same thig and even thought we asked for the room to be maid , no even one of the days was done , no one came from housekeeping to clean the room. One of my sport jackets was stolen from the room or simply disappear ... we asked to please chaneg our room and only on the last day the room was changed . Horrible experience, under staffed hotel . people at the front desk did the best they could I want my money back

    And I'm disabled & in a wheelchair(ugh). There's NO CARPET in the rooms. Just that makes it so much easier for me. Cleaner than carpet, cuz that kinda always freaked me out anout hotels, even before I was disabled. Cleaner too. I can't say enough good things about it!     MY CAR WAS STOLEN. There is no security in the parking lot. They don’t take your vehicle info at check in because they don’t patrol the lot at all. Then when I asked for some sort of credit or refund for the ONE NIGHT I stayed- they refused. The actual hotel is nice enough- but the security is non existent.

    Although it looks secluded it's just a few blocks away from shopping and restaurants. Pretty new with great decor. Good full breakfast. Staff is one of the best and friendliest I've met in a while and I travel a lot. Highly recommend.

    The lady at the front desk was very friendly and attentive. The room was okay. There was hair on the floor, on the shampoo bottle, in the shower. Also found stains on the pull down shade. Just wished it was a little bit more cleaner.

    I was having a pretty good stay (didn’t mind that my sink leaked-I just put a towel down), but when I was asked to bring my dirty towels down to the front desk in order to receive clean ones, I was flabbergasted! And then I was told by the housekeeping person that “this was a 2-star hotel,” I was appalled. He told me this wasn’t a full service hotel! It was very off-putting! Finally, I was told to pick up my clean towels when I returned from my outing. I’ll never stay here again because of the poor attitudes of the workers (except the lady that checked me in-she was wonderful) and their noncommittment to keep guests moderately happy. This hotel was a loser to me and I shall not return.

    This property is reasonably priced with available free parking. It also includes free daily breakfast. The rooms match the included photos. There isn't a lot of fan fare with average amenities and i like that there is no carpeting. There are limited dining options close to the hotel so you will have to drive unless you eat at the places nearby. No restaurant or bar either but that's a trade off for the price etc. I would stay again.
