Want to thank the staff that were pleasant, kind and caring. We had a lovely visit for 2 nights this weekend.

The room was clean. For the price I would stay here again.

We stayed almost a week. On my first day i know that not all rooms would be really clean but i didnt really expect that it would be that really dirty. Thankfully i bought a lot of sanitizing wipes. The leather couch when i wiped it turn out so dirty. I have to wipe like everything on that room even the floors because i saw like under the night stand theres lots of dust and hair. Secondly the furnitures, lamps, bed and table are all rusty even on the bathroom everything is rusty. Third the staff on the breakfast area was really rude. We had a 1yo that is eating and throwing food on the floor i know its frustrating thats why before hand i ask if i can borrow a broom so i can take care of it but they insisted on doing it. I apologize for it and the second day it happened again I insist that i need to clean it up but(i tried picking up what was thrown on the floor) and then she came by then sweep it and then I said sorry. Didnt say anything by that moment but when she left she was talking to her other co-worker really loud on another language then an english word came out from her saying “ALWAYS SAYING SORRY” and then her co-worker she was talking too came to see us and gave us a bad look(not enough to talk about she needs to see us) I know for parents who has a toddler its frustrating for what is happening but to be looked liked that its more frustrating. And its really rude. Then the next day some customers left the lid of the egg open then the attendant shouted again on them!

The room was in terrible condition. There was widespread rust everywhere: on the light fixtures, the hanger rack, the chair, and all over the shower area. The bathroom lacks a proper exhaust fan (only passive ventilation), making it damp. The iron provided was so filthy it was completely unusable, and the TV was ancient with no modern apps like YouTube or Netflix—only basic cable. To top it off, no drinking water was provided. The worst part was the housekeeping. While they cleaned the room the next day as promised, during a subsequent cleaning, the staff left a huge clump of stranger's hair stuck to our door! It was clear they wiped our door with a dirty, contaminated cloth from another room. This is a severe health and sanitation violation. When I called reception, they couldn't fix it and just told me to take photos and complain to Expedia. Absolutely unacceptable service and zero maintenance. Avoid this place!

the price was affordable but the property was a bit far from the beach. the bed and the pillows were not that confortable. the bathroom was very small. the room was big. there was plenty of parking and there was a bar at the property.

There was next to nothing in water pressure, taking a shower was near impossible. The floors were very slippery. The bed was only 20 inches above the floor, really that is no joke. I am 74 inches tall it was hard getting up from the bed.

I liked where it's located at. And how nice and clean the hotel was . The staff was very nice and very helpful. I really didn't like the fact that it's wasn't any smoking rooms. And I didn't like that it was only one elevator in the whole hotel so my whole stay I had to use the stairs cause my room was on the third floor on the very end of the hall.

I liked how well the housekeeper cleaned our room, the pool area was maintained very well... I didn't like the short Mexican lady that was serving the breakfast. She was highly rude and she literally stood and watched me and my children as if we were going to steal something. The breakfast choices were very poor, and not diverse at all. Waffles tasted like cardboard, no meat choices, bagels were stale.

The breakfast wasn’t great even for a basic hotel breakfast but the room was great and the pool was clean and enjoyable.

Okay, I’m going to shoot it straight. I was staying with a friend that lives in Jacksonville for the last couple of days and then she started feeling sick. I had a couple more days of vacation left and didn’t want to be sick when I went to my next destination so I rented this room at last minute notice it was right around the corner from where I was at, and it was cheap. Not to mention it was Super Bowl Sunday. The room was clean. Something was going on outside of my room. I believe it was something dripping all night. It sounded like someone was out there. This place says it’s a non-smoking property yet. The staff in the morning sat outside and smoked it up. The little bar that’s attached to it. I walked through and it looked like something out of a 70s fight movie. It was so smoky. I couldn’t take it and I work in a smoking bar. The breakfast in the morning had a lot to be desired. Some fried eggs biscuits and gravy a waffle, some coffee and juice dry toast, plain cereal, no bacon no sausage no fruit.

Not a complaint, but reviews said good things about the attached dive bar, but it was too smokey to even consider stopping in

Rust all around the door frames, left over food crumbs from the people before us under the edge of the bed, bath towels had stains, and the air unit in our room made an awful squealing noise. We came in super late so ended up sleeping with the air unit turned off due to the noise and it make the room extremely hot. Also located with a bar downstairs so smelled of marijuana outside.

I love this place. I’ve stayed here several times. It is a no frills hotel and looks a little run down from the outside but what they offer is done very well. Beds are like sleeping in a cloud. We love the pool. And the basic breakfast is always hot and stocked. I love their multi selection coffee machine! And their staff!

The room phone was not working. I have to call technical support to get the wifi “connected”. It showed I was connected to wifi but all the apps that needed wifi connection did not work.

For starters we go there and there were people barbequing and drinking in the parking lot and when got in the room I can smell the smoke we were right in top of where this was going on not only that on that night when we came back from the beach I was woken up at 2:30am by the fire works the same people that were barbquing downstairs our neighbor went outside and screamed at them and they didn't care then I called the front desk said she is sorry but had already told them to stop but they didn't listen I told her to call the cops she said she did but I'm not sure she did in the morning I went down to breakfast expecting the worst and that's exactly what I got the fruits were rotten the lady that was supposed to refill on her phone I had to call to her attention that the eggs ran out and the pool OMG it was green terrible and it was open idk how oh almost forgot the curtains in my room right I top of the AC had mold wedis nit even stay the second night we paid for it really was a terrible experience and the management its really bad no rules are applied and they are no where to be around and when expedia called so we can get a refund the front desk girl didn't want to pick up the phone to confirm

This was by far the nicest and cleanest Quality Inn I have stayed at. The staff were so kind, friendly and accommodating! The only complaint I’d say I have is the lack of ventilation in the room/bathroom. The metal light fixtures were rusting from the humidity in the room. The location was great, the pool was relaxing, and housekeeping was on top of any needs. I would absolutely stay here again!

Being that my husband is a heart transplant patient I usually thoroughly clean every room I check into but I must say that the towel that I use to clean this room was black when I was done so and then it had a stitch and also my skin remain moist in the room there were rust objects in the room so the room kept a moist feeling in it which I did not like we had a Six-Day stay and we just struggle through it but the staff was very nice and the towels were far from right White!

If I could give zero stars I would. Stay far away from this bed bug infested hotel. We arrived on Tuesday. Went fishing on wensday. On Thursday I noticed bites on my children and assumed it was from when we went fishing...However we didn't go anywhere but to eat on Thursday and then on Friday morning my children woke up with FRESH bites again. I took photos of the bites on friday while packing to leave so that you can CLEARLY see that they are fresh bites. Took them to the doctor on friday when we got home. The doctor said they are indeed fresh bites that are clearly NOT 2 days old. And that they are consistent with bed bugs. Hotel refuses to offer any kind of refund. Which I needed since now I have to treat everything that I had in the room before I bring it into my home. Choice Hotels insists that the manager of the hotel has to be the one to issue a refund. But good luck getting the hotel manager on the phone. He avoids phone calls and responsibility. Had the clerk tell me they had pest control come and they found nothing. HOWEVER what hotel do you really think is going to admit to a customer that they have bedbugs? Not a one...stay far far away. Or it could get very expensive. Disgusting

There was no water pressure in shower or in main sink next to the bathroom. My kids could barely rinse because the water from shower head would fall at the faucet below. Very difficult to get ready in the mornings. Ended up skipping washing my hair the whole week because of the shower

Room was an average room. Motel style - with doors leading to the outside. Staff was nice. Area not so good. We had to call security someone who was disorderly and drunk on our floor balcony.

This was hands down the worst hotel I've stayed in in over 20 years. The room constantly smelled like pot because the people in the room below us were smoking. And the room was so gross. My boyfriend's feet were black from walking on the floors barefoot, the bathroom had all sorts of mystery stains (blood?) on the door, walls and shower curtain. Even the white towels had faint mystery stains. We're also pretty sure there was some drug dealing happening on the floor below. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was clean and the staff friendly however, there were spots where the rust was showing, and the paint and baseboards were separating from the wall. Would stay there again.

The property was fine for what it is, but my electric key did not work the whole weekend instead of putting me in another room they chose to have me come and get them every time I needed it into my room

The staff at this location was great. I really appreciated their positive attitude. But I was traveling with my niece and did not feel safe here. Which is saying a lot since I travel regularly and generally feel safe almost anywhere.

The heater in my room didn't work. Luckily this place had a vacant room to switch me. That room was jn front of the stairs and I heard everyone entering or exiting this second floor. I waited at least fifteen minutes for the breakfast to be replenished. Upon checkout, the clerk said she couldn't give me a receipt and to check with the third party I used to reserve the room. Not sure if I'll go there again.

This was an awful place. The front desk attendant was extremely rude. I greeted him and he all he said to me was “ID and credit card” and “your room is that way”. The office reeked of cigarette smoke although it claimed to be a smoke free property. There were people hanging around all over smoking and drunk. Loud music coming from the hotel bar at 1 am. The remote control was sticky. We arrived very late the first night so we had to stay. We left the next morning and found another place to stay even though we couldn’t get our money back.

The only reason i selected this hotel for my dad is because it showed a walk in shower. Since he just had knee surgery he beefed one to bathe. I called to confirm and a man assured me that was whst we reserved. When checking in the lady stated the only two rooms with walk-in showers ate taken and have been for quite some time. She stressed that they were for people in wheelchairs. She mentioned that several times, insinuating that you must be in a wheelchair to get those rooms. My dad was very uncomfortable and your team needs to be trained on how to handle ADA issues.

The bathroom was in very bad shape, specially the bath tub. The linings in our bed had cigarettes burns, on side of the bedroom the lights didn’t work. The breakfast also were a disappointment, no eggs or Varieties of tea. They had only one kind of tea. It was cheap, but really it wasn’t worth it. I wished I had choose a different one.

The room was comfortable and -very- clean. The support staff in the front office were very nice and helpful and the cleaning staff was superb. Next hurricane, I'm heading directly to this place again. The surrounding area has lots of pleasant surprises - within a 15-20 min drive there are a number of excellent restaurants with varied cuisines. Highly suggest driving 5 min north to Mayport and taking the ferry across the river (an adventure in itself, especially if you have kids), then drive up to the Timucuan Trail on Big Talbot Island. Park at the Sawpit Boat Ramp and then cross the road to the bird watching stations. Some of the best bird watching on the East Coast. I was at the ramp one night after a late bike ride and saw the October '24 comet!!!

Here’s what I found in the room: refrigerator door was rusty…bathroom towel bars and closet hangers were rusty…vinyl chair had holes on the backside…bathroom sink faucet had just a trickle of water and took about four minutes to get warm.

Staff was very rude!! No thank you or even good morning or any greetings from the front desk.

There was black mold in every room on every wall and ceiling as well as peeling paint. The towels were dirty before we ever used them and the room had a very strong odor of mold and mildew. It was totally unhealthy and we could not stay there more than one night. The manager refused to look at the photos I sent in an email to him requesting a refund which he denied.

I’ve stayed at this Quality Inn multiple times and the best part is always the waffle! The staff is helpful and great too. The housekeepers can’t speak English so if there are any issues, be prepared to communicate through an app/other staff. KEEP IN MIND….THE WATER PRESSURE IS VERY LOW!!!! Mid as ever! Not terrible though

Not a 5 star hotel but has a 5 star staff. Room was clean and fresh. Pool was nice. Breakfast was standard. Outside of hotel looks unkept and a bit run down but didn’t bother me.

I had a terrible stay, upon check in, the shower did not work properly. Contacted manager, he said that’s how all the showers are. I insisted on another room. Upon inspecting two additional rooms, I found one with a working shower head. Even though he told me they all didn’t work… Day two breakfast, I asked the employee working if there was more gravy for the biscuits and that worker proceeded to yell at me that it would take work to make more gravy. Even though there was 45 minutes remaining on the breakfast schedule. Employee was hostile and rude. When I went to front desk to complain. I was told there was no manager on site that day, and there was nothing they could do. Terrible hotel, do not stay here.

Exterminator is very much needed at this property. I killed about 8-10 reaches in my short time in the room.

After staying at this hotel for many trips, I have to say the rooms are so clean and comfy. Lots of space for the price & location. The remodel of the entire hotel is A++

As I stated in a previous review, the room was super clean. The remote was missing the back cover. There was noticeable water damgae of rust to the hinges of the bateoom door. Painted over, water damage to bathroom door. The shower curtain was worn and needs to be replaced. Good shower water pressure. But the water pressure in sink was low. TV, microwave and mini fridge worked fine. Felt perfectly safe on the 3rd floor. My grandson forgot his stuffed animal and my son in law went to retrieve it that evening and it could not be located. He went back the next day, still no Doggie. The night staff did not seem to happy about our inquiries .

This was a terrible experience. I tried to give them a chance as I was changed of room 3 times. 1st the door lock did not work and the room was moldy all around and dirty, 2nd was infested with roaches and the 3rd was full of bedbugs. I could not be there any longer with my family. We tried as we were evacuated and needed a place to stay but preferred to be in a shelter to be there.

Of florida Said if you're a vacuating Hotels won't charge pet fees. So I Booked the hotel with that In mind, Yet when we got there with my two little dogs They charged me twenty five dollars per dog Per day For a total of extrahundred and fifty dollars. Do not think that was very fair.Considering we were evacuating from a very dangerous situation. That and the fact that There was hardly any water pressure in the faucet. If you're going to say pet friendly and charge of fee , you should say what that fee is before people book your hotel.

The hotel was roach infested and dirty. The staff was extremely rude, even raising their voice and degrading elderly people. The assistant manager, was especially rude and also lied about being the manager so that he wouldn't get in trouble when asked to speak to his supervisor.

A basic motel, good value for money but a little tired.

Conveniently located at the beaches and only a short drive or Uber to the actual beach. Quiet location and room was clean and upgraded.

It was adequate for the price and convenient for my needs. But.. was no hot water in the sink. The air conditioning in the room was too cold and couldn’t be adjusted to a warmer (less chilly) temperature. And it was dark in my room: even with the shades open I needed to keep the lights on if I wanted to see anything that wasn’t directly beside the window.

1. The charge showing on the credit card is coming from the hotel, not expedia. 2. It is PAY AT PROPERTY and it was the receptionist who took the credit cards & tax exempt IDs. This the very reason why we chose a PAY AT PROPERTY hotel in the 1st place, so that necessary tax adjustments can be done at the hotel. Although the manager sounded professional & nice, I believe he could have come up with a better solution than have us tell Expedia to give them a call. He could have done this himself. Both the manager and the receptionist lack training & accountability for what was clearly a mistake on the receptionist’s end.
