Quick trip. The hotel was perfect for our purposes. Clean. Quiet.

Location The property was under construction with no notice here on booking.com or their website. Had I known I wouldn’t have booked there. The tvs are old and their cable went in and out so bad we had to buy a fire stick just to watch tv. We were in a transition period before moving to my new apartment and I usually wish I could stay in a hotel longer but this time I couldn’t wait to leave. The kitchen staff was rude. They were low on eggs and when I asked them if they were going to bring more out she didn’t even make I contact with me, looked at the scraps of eggs, and replied “there’s some eggs in the there”. I had DO NOT DISTURB on my door and the fire department still knocked on my door wanting to “see if I had a fire detector in the room”. I didn’t. The floors had dust and hair on them when I checked in that wasn’t mine. I hate hair especially in the bathroom man. And lastly the construction left white specs of the ceiling all over my clothes because of the construction banging against the wall. So disappointing when I thought I was avoiding half-baked services.

There was a lot of construction equipment just sitting in the lobby and the carpet had trash in several places. The staff were very nice and helpful.

The property is currently under renovation and the pool and gym are closed. Dining area and bar are nice.

Didn't have the room we paid for took us for King to a queen at the same cost..

Everyone was very welcoming. Construction work going on . Noise early but left early anyway. Was hard to navigate the cooling system

The high corporation should not rent out rooms in this property. Wow it is undergoing such extensive in major renovation. The smell of fresh paint and the haze of dust everything made the stay untenable. The sound of the air conditioning fan was reminiscent of a jet aircraft landing. We seriously thought there was a plane or a big truck outside our window. And mentioning window, our view was some guys ankles on the scaffolding which in circled the entire building it was evident that they only rented out a few of the rooms, but I could not determine whether or not the room I was in was pre-or post renovation. The parking lot looked like a construction site and they had to be only 20 spaces available. It’s amazing that I did not get a punctured tire. The staff was pleasant and capable, but the place looked like the set of The Walking Dead.

I stayed at Hyatt Place Augusta, Ga for two nights. the hotel is under construction. Parking was terrible, We either had to walk a distance or at times had to park illegally. The dust from construction was evident everywhere. Our room was worn/very over used. The furniture had scratches and dents, the blinds did not work, sofa was worn to almost holes in a couple of spots and one part/cushion had no support and was unusable. Construction dust was on the chest/counter and would also be on my clothes and in my hair. Water pressure was very poor in the shower, refrigerator was freezing items and on our check out day we started having problems with the toilet. I requested a discount due to the conditions and was told an email would be sent? No response.

The associate at the front desk was great. Made us feel really welcomed. The food and beverage manager was such a joy to have her wait on us. My Best Friend and I were celebrating out birthdays and we really felt special. I was also choosen for the guest of the day and was presented with a gift bag. What a surprise that was. The meal that my wife had wasn’t so tasty either. The salad was better than the meal to be honest with you.

The property is in a good location but they have no business being open I arrived at 11:30pm when they informed me there would be a 20 minute wait for a room as they didnt have one available more than 30 minute went by and the room still wasnt ready they refered us to a sister property tru by hilton in agusta we drove 10 minutes mind you its now past 12 am tru had no idea what we were talking about i called several times and no one was answering finally they answered and come to find out we were supposed to be at tru in north agusta so we drive another 15 minutes its darn near 1 am and finally we make it tru by hilton was great but hyatt not at all.

This hotel should not have been open for business during the time they accepted our reservation. The property is in an active renovation. Room doors didn’t lock, no TVs on the walls, shower fixtures falling out of the wall, a/c was not working in the room. We, and multiple other guest parties were moved to another hotel in the area because this property could not find a room not in disrepair for us. This move finally occurred at 11pm.

Room we were given was still being cleaned wasn’t told anything. My wife went back down to lobby I stayed bc they said almost done ten mins later they were. After getting out of a six hour car ride that fun. Also later in evening when my wife was in the shower a manager i am assuming tall man maybe glasses knocked and walked into our locked room immediately seeing me and leaving the room not even saying a word but something to someone in hallway like what was that. Also there wasn’t a trash can besides one small bathroom one so we had to use one of our shopping bags for our trash.

Front desk had amazing staff n breakfast wasn’t bad Room wasn’t clean had very bad smell as a smoker also seemed as someone mopped with dirty sour water in bathroom my fiancé and I had to go to the local Walmart purchase a blanket and smell goods to just be able to stay. Fridge was broken and wouldn’t cool nor would our blinds raise to be able to see view. Poor was closed also just overall bad to be a visitor for first time.

The room may have had mold. I and my mom coughed all night and beds were hard as rocks. We didn't get any relief until leaving hotel. Bugs crawling on walls and flooring appeared water damage inside hotel hallway and carpet. Bed was hard as rock and couch appeared stained

The was very good and the room it was very clean , the young keep all the food filled. At the time the pool was not in use at that time

I like the location and the staff were very nice and accommodating. I didn't like the fact that there were no breakfast meats available or whole milk. I was told by staff that the meat was in the gravy. I do not like gravy or my breakfast meat in gravy. That's absolutely absurd for a restaurant not to provide breakfast meats. The towels were so rough to my skin and pool was unavailable.

I really enjoyed the comfort of the King Size bed. The air was good and the coffee in the room was delicious. My overall experience was good. It is also great to getaway. The sink's drainage could have been better. The water drained slowly.

Location The battery for the keypad in our room was bad and it took the very nice staff person about 45 minutes to get us into our room because the technology that she had to get it fixed didn’t work. Based on the condition of the door, this was not the first time that this had happened to the keypad on our door. Further, the bathroom sink was backed up and there was hair and other gross things in the bathroom sink.

Room size, Breakfast Pool was closed for repairs (big disappointment with the Heat), one of the elevators was broke down the entire stay with no evidence that it was being repaired causing delays with guests having to use only 1 elevator (I was with my handicap mother so stairs were not an option and we were on the top floor). Walls and carpet were in bad shape throughout.

They have closed the restaurant, the store is decimated of food items, and the bar is closing. Plan on going out to dine. Otherwise the hotel is nice, well kept, clean, and safe.

I wish I had known at the time of booking that the restaurant was closed, the bar was closing, and the store was decimated. I chose this hotel for its amenities, despite the fact that it was further from my appointment. Please update the website to include this information so other travelers are not surprised as well.

Great staff

On that issue alone I asked the desk people and called the general manager and have yet to receive any compensation or real apology as I ended up changing rooms shortly before midnight my firat night there. My other issue was the breakfast was awful. There were no real enjoyable edible options. I was told that the hotel would be closing in November for upgrades and thats kinda what it felt like, no money spent on edible food choices, limited service and a kinda of lets just get to the shutdown date and then we out attitude. I likely will not be back even after the renovations. In the meantime consider your choices for future hotwl stays. Disappointed!!!

Staff is friendly and environment was clean We stayed at the property two separate nights due to family death. Both times the shampoo and liquid body wash containers were completely empty.

I liked how spacious and well-kept my room was. The hotel was very quiet. I enjoyed the free breakfast, business center and outdoor seating area. The staff were very helpful! I will return if I'm in the area!

The staff was lovely. I loved the space in the room and for the price it was a steal. Had more room than some 4-stars I have stayed in. Had trouble with all of the doors (room door, side door, back door). I guess they were undergoing maintenance so I was afraid of getting locked out because the key didn’t work. Other than that, I stayed one night and I would stay again.

Property doors have been pryed open so many times youcan see the locking mechanisms from the hallway. No bar service on Mondays. TVs not working in the room but ok in the lobby. Unacceptable for this property to bein such poor condition.

Restaurant and the bartender just awesome personality

Check in was super easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. My room looked clean enough but had a kind of old/mildewy smell when I first entered. Decent breakfast provided.

I wish they had better water pressure and the toilet took a long fill up. It took almost 5 mins to fill up and you can hear it filling

I would definitely recommend this hotel that is set at the highest point on a hill, overlooking a good portion of Augusta, a quaint, quiet and comfortable town, out of the way from the hustle and bustle of city life. The staff was phenomenal and the complimentary breakfast was superb, with Sherry at the helm. We had fresh-cooked scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, cereal with milk, yogurt, fresh cut fruit, pancakes, waffles, home fries and more. 5-star in our book for a very affordable price!

When arriving to the hotel, I was instantly greeted by the wonderful staff and checked in and key assigned within 2 minutes. The rooms were clean and neat, their food is great for the location, PLUS Happy Hour at the bar! I will staying there again very soon!

This place should not deceive the public with Hyatt in the name its not remotely close to any Hyatt big nasty stains on the carpet,toilet rockes not secure to the floor swimming pool not open in the middle of June, walls & doors damaged in hallway, no alchol at the bar they had lots of top shelf bottles on display but when ordering drinks we were told that they were full of vinegar!!!! No microwave in any of the rooms, so we looked forward to the breakfast extravaganza only to be disappointed again I go to get skimmed milk only to find the milk is spoiled after taking a sip, i go to get scrambled eggs only to find a hair, i was in town for a funeral and was disappointed paying Hyatt regency prices!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

I asked for my room to be clean by the housekeeper. She agreed to clean it since she was a few doors down. Came back to room. No fresh wash cloth, towels, linen or anything. She committed to cleaning up my room and never did it.

My room appeared clean but smelled of mildew. I also booked my 3 night stay here because my son and his friends wanted to swim and the pool area online looked nice. It wasn’t until hours after I checked in and tried to get back INSIDE from exploring the Pool area that I was told from a Staff member that my key wasn’t working to come back inside because the Pool was actually not open yet. It was likely another 4-10 days before an Inspector would be out to bless the pool and clear it for service! I had to book an additional hotel (Crowne Plaza) for the boys to get atleast 1 day while in town at a place with a Pool. Very disappointed with the poor communication and no offer to help find some kind of resolution or compensation for my additional $200 expense elsewhere.

Wanted to give this hotel every chance...however, our room door was not fully closed, upon first entering our room (i.e. that was scary, not knowing if someone was already in our room). Secondly, make sure you plan for NO MAID SERVICE until after your 3rd night - we were not informed of that at check-in. So keep your soggy, dirty towels! Thirdly, there was an oily substance on the floor beyond the room door, which almost cost them dearly. We slipped and almost fell a few times, not remembering that we have an equivalent of a slippery ice rink near the bathroom and front door. Fourth, the pool was supposed to reopen on June 6th...didn't happen, and the weather was PERFECT for a swim in our hotel pool during our little vacation (uh uh!). Please know that their staff was VERY HOSPITABLE, however after informing them of these concerns, nothing was addressed.

Again, this is my preferred hotel to stay at when I’m in Augusta for work or for pleasure. Everyone is so kind I always have a great meal in the morning fresh coffee. The front desk person was kind enough to give me my same room that I had the night before. Even though I hadn’t reserved two nights in a row she kept it empty for me so I was comfortable back in the same room. Great stay great hotel will always return.

This is always my favorite place to stay when I’m in Augusta. Everyone is so nice and so kind and so polite. The breakfast in the morning is to die for it’s some of the best breakfast in a hotel I’ve ever had in my entire life. The ladies there are so kind and will get you anything you need. The front desk staff is very kind and I just appreciate everything that they do.
