The Knights Inn definitely has its issues, but it was perfect for our boys trip to the Masters. I don't want to give away too many spoilers, but bring some air freshener and a bath towel (they ones provided are too small to dry a human person properly) and that will get you started.

For Masters week, this is the place to stay (unless you are bringing your wife/gf). It is so close, and you can't beat the price. The bed was actually pretty comfortable and the pillows seemed new or at least they were cleaned very well. Always nice to have a free breakfast to get going. Basic but good. Great location, especially if you’re going to the Madters. The carpet was very tired and a bit scary, but the bathroom was clean and the water was warm. The bath towels were also very tired. Thankfully, we brought our own. The bathroom door wouldn’t latch and the toilet dripped off and on all night. And our door didn’t have the extra security lock.

The lady at the desk was awesome, very kind and caring. She was able to move me when the toliet stopped working. I had booked the stay for 2 days. I didn't find out until after I booked that the pool was closed and also no breakfast, which was the 2 things that I looked for when booking the room.  They send me an email after I booked stating due to Covid.  Covid has been over for some time now.  I am not sure if it is due to understaffing but they need to update the hotel and take the information off the books that they do not accommodate these amenities.  I first had to ask for toliet paper because there was none in the room. Then I had to ask for a remote for the TV. She brought one with no backing to hold the batteries. The commode stopped working so I had to move rooms on the 2nd day. The water wouldn't pump into the back, so not sure what happened there. The downfall was that the rooms do not have the fridge plugged up so I had to start over with cooling the fridge again along with the air conditioner was also off so the room was hot. The second room was worse because the AC didn't turn off , there was no thermostate so it was either on or off. When I came back from a funeral (that was the reason for my trip) the room was 63 degrees and it was so cold. I had no idea or I wouldn't have left it on. On a good note, there was no bugs to be found!

The location to Augusta National is excellent. The motel is very quiet and convenient. I have stayed here before and knew what to expect however this time the room had a leaky shower handle. It is probably just a washer that needs replaced. I managed to use the shower curtain as a makeshift fix so the water wouldn't run out onto the floor. Being Masters week, I dealt with it because I figured there were no more rooms available.

Where do I even start? This place is beyond a joke. I’ve stayed in motels before, but this was a whole new level of disgusting. Words can't even describe how horrifying the room was. The moment we opened the door, we were assaulted by the most heinous mixture of foul aromas. There were visible stains all over the carpet, and I’m almost certain they were from something that shouldn’t have been anywhere near a bed. I don't have enough room to write everything but the bottom line is 4 of us walked into the room and walked out within a minute or so and slept in our car outside of the room. $300 to end up sleeping in our car. This building should be condemned. Please save yourselves.

We were put in the building in the back that looked and smelled like it had not been used in a year. The floor was soft in the bathroom like you were going to fall through it and the door to the room wasn’t closing. There was a 2 in gap at the bottom of the door. Also the smell in the room was god awful. And right outside our room was a broken down beat up old car that hadn’t moved in years it looked like. Needless to say I cut my losses and went to a different hotel.

The bathroom floor was literally sinking when you walked on it. The shower head pulled 3” out of the wall. The smoke alarm would beep when you would take a shower. And the tv wouldn’t turn off from the remote. And lastly the filter on the AC hasn’t been changed in probably ever because it had a horrible musty smell when it would kick on. There are three good things about our stay, owners very nice, location really good, shower/water pressure very good. Beyond that it really should never be rented. Our first room had a broken toilet. We were changed to a different room. The second room had a no A/C. The a/c unit was replaced with an old a/c unit which didn't work either. Third time was a charm, it worked. Cannot use microwave and frig at same time. One must be unplugged to plug other in. Very old TV only partially works with remote. Building too old to be refurbish. Really needs torn down to the ground and rebuilt. We were visited the last day by cockroaches. We were their for the masters and no rooms available or we would have demanded our money back. It is really a shame the $724 we paid to stay 3 nights. It really should be condemned and not rented ever as it stands, but with that said the managers/owners were very nice and accomodating.

We stayed here for the Masters Golf Tournament. It was very overpriced. But the bed was comfortable, and we had a wonderful time.
