Staff was friendly, upon check in and out. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Would recommend staying here.

I stay at this hotel every year for a work trip for 12 days. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable
- 3/5
Average , one night stay
- 2.5/5
The room didn't have enough of light. The walls in the bath tub looked like it was finish painting. Then we looked out the window look at a junk yard. Then there no good restaurants at that exit. There was no pool but online they said that it had a pool.
- 4.5/5
The cleanliness Nothing really
- 5/5
Dinner was excellent
- 5/5
Great staff, they assisted me and my family members without hesitation. The staff made it as stress free as possible. It was twelve of us with kids in our group. The rooms were cleaned and well stocked. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would personally like to thank them for a wonderful experience. My personal recommendation is if you are looking for a place that feels like home this is the place.

Yes breakfast is the worse. It's always cold never hot an nasty. I stayed there numerous times breakfast the worse I ever experience at any stay
- 3.5/5
Very convenient, quiet and clean. Staff was friendly and breakfast was ok. Decent price for the stay Ac unit needs to be updated. Doesn’t cool the room down efficiently and take forever to warm up. Should extend breakfast hours
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. Check-in was easy. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and warm.
- 4.5/5
The bed made a lot of noise whenever one of us got in or out of bed. The metal base sounded like a gong! Overall, the bed was comfortable. But I would have preferred a quieter night.
- 5/5
Nice staff and very clean environment
- 4/5
Nice hotel for the price. Front desk employee was very responsive to our requests
- 0.5/5
I did not like anything. Smell of marijuana and the AC was not working at capacity. Property was outdated
- 4.5/5
The convenient location and friendly staff were great It was cleanish, bathroom could’ve been cleaner and the floors had something spilled on them
- 3.5/5
Breakfast was just ok
- 4/5
The breakfast was good I believe that they are still in the midst of a remodel
- 3/5
phone didn’t work nor did the tv. customer service was great though.
- 4/5
I was very pleased with the facility. The check in clerk lacks customer relations skills and was very argumentative. She interrupts when being talked to and thus does not get a proper understanding of what’s being said.
- 3.5/5
Da way da bed moves and makes a lot of noise
- 4/5
The young lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful!
- 1/5
The hotel was overbooked, so I had to change rooms without disability access. There were also bugs in the room, my bed sheets were stained and inside out and the hotel itself was extremely hot.
- 4/5
Morning staff are much better
- 3/5
I have always had a great experience there i have learn night shift is very different
- 2/5
Bedding was itchy, felt like sleeping on a canvas tarp. Toilet kept running all night and day. Breakfast tasted horrible.
- 3/5
Location was great to where I needed to be
- 1/5
The pictures look nice when we did the search for a hotel but the room was a different story. The door latch was broken so we could not securely lock the room. The room smelled as if pets had urinated and pooped in the room and they used some very strong chemicals to clean it but a horrible smell lingered. Not to mention the chemicals used irritated our eyes and throat for three days after and we only stayed one night. Management appeared to be irritated when we brought it up to their attention. We would not recommend this location to anyone. If I could give no stars I would.

Staff is amazing. The hotel is a nice find!

The room was clean, the front desk was nice, it was a good stay for me

More option for breakfast
- 1/5
I asked her for her name, she refused to give it to me, and I called Expedia to have them talk to her because the hotel staff didn't believe me when I said it was a bug in the room. The front desk staff and the maintenance guy went to the room to see if they saw the bug, as if, the bug would remain in the same spot. I told the front desk staff, that I would just find someplace else to go and to cancel the room. I asked her to give me a receipt or something stating the time I was leaving the property, which was 6:45 pm on 8/13/25, after arriving around 6:25pm. She said she couldn't print me out anything because I paid through a third party (Expedia), and she refused to give me or the Expedia rep her name. She stated that she would be charging me the entire 3-night rate because I was rude to her for asking for the copy of my license back. This was a horrible experience after

on Saturday breakfast was till 10 am they had stuff shut off before the time they said it was till and the bathroom in the room the vanity around the sink looked like it was had cracks in it .....only one ice machine that I saw only on the very first floor my room was on second floor and didn't see if there was one on the third floor..... there was a stain on the lamp that looked like it had been there a decent amount of time....... and the equipment for the TV or which provider they are using needs updating cause it would just shut off and all and there needs to be a bell at the front desk cause sometimes they were else where and had to wait on them!!
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 3/5
The building and our room was hot. In desperate need of an upgrade.
- 4/5
The hotel is ok, the air conditioner could not keep up with the heat
- 4/5
The people were awesome!
- 3/5
Well, my first day there went out for the day came back around 12:30. Cleaning crew was in my room only took the tower and touched my personal items. I went downstairs to ask how can someone come in your room and don’t clean and only take towels and touch my personal stuff. The reply back was oh she was clean again. My bed was not made Didn’t have clean towels in the room and I was in room 312. Last name the CAIN.
- 5/5
The property is mostly well maintained. The staff were very friendly on both the night and morning shift. Check in was very easy as well.
- 4/5
We had some issues with our stay...the air conditioning was not working100%, the hair dryer broke, broken ice machine and the TV had no sound...however, when each problem was brought to Priya's attention, the problem was looked into and corrected in almost no time...except for the air conditioning, but I would still stay here again.
- 4/5
Good value for price.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure that I felt welcome and comfortable. They were very accommodating by allowing my early check-in request. I appreciated the staff's willingness to go the extra mile to make my stay comfortable.
- 3/5
The room had some updating but the old was still there. The bathroom needed remolding. Lights in bathroom was a newer style but put out very little light.
- 4/5
The service was great. The room was fine, though the in-unit air conditioning unit was maybe not optimal. Everything, and I mean everything, smelled awful, but I'm pretty sure that was an environmental condition and not something about the facility or room. It was otherwise perfectly fine.
- 3/5
So for a single night somewhat in a questionable area - average.
- 5/5
Loved it!
- 5/5
The courteous staff made my stay 10 times better. Very accommodating
- 5/5
Recently updated this is a beautiful budget hotel. Fluffy high quality towels and linen; good breakfast; excellent hospitable staff. Only issue - no Kleenex or clock in room.
- 4/5
I have stayed at this property a few times and I have always found it a nice place to stay at a reasonable price.
- 4/5
Quite very nice staff
- 5/5
The property is located just off the Interstate, which makes it easy to get back on and continue your destination in any direction you wish to go.
- 5/5
Super nice very clean

This so-called “hotel” is nothing more than a hazardous construction site disguised as a place of lodging. It is beyond comprehension how management has the audacity to keep this establishment open while it is in the middle of a full-blown renovation. From 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, guests are bombarded with the deafening sounds of construction—drilling, hammering, and shouting workers—all while trying to relax or sleep. The entire place reeks of toxic paint and dust, making it an outright health hazard. To make matters worse, I was assigned a room on a floor that was completely under construction. The dust coated everything, and the air was thick with fumes that made it nearly impossible to breathe. This is not just an inconvenience; it is a blatant violation of basic safety and health regulations. It is beyond irresponsible—it is dangerous. As if that weren’t bad enough, some of the construction workers actually live in the hotel, treating it like their personal dormitory. They were excessively loud, shouting and making noise until nearly 3:00 AM, ensuring that a good night’s sleep was impossible. Management has clearly abandoned any responsibility for maintaining a decent environment for paying guests. This property should not be operating under any circumstances. It is an active construction zone, a health risk, and a complete nightmare. Authorities should investigate immediately, and until then, I strongly
- 3/5
They were doing construction on the 2nd floor where I was staying. The room was not very clean. Also had problems with my key working. The keycard thing on the door would register my key sometimes so I would have to go downstairs & have them rescan my room keys.
- 4/5
Need instructions on how to use the tv in the room no instructions where there are a guide
- 1/5
The bathroom had mold and rust on the door frame. The bed was on some kind of metal frame and it was noisy. The tv was the size of a small computer screen and had to be reset to get the cable on. The free breakfast was horrible. Yogurt was in water when the ice melted and left like that. The hot breakfast was Luke warm. They need help
- 5/5
Everything
- 4/5
They were doing construction/updates, should have received a discount
- 5/5
Fit our needs
- 3/5
The rooms was set up weird. The bed is so close to the wall and ac that you can not walk. The tv was missing the remote so we couldn't change the channels. Didnt get the tv fixed until the very next day. Refrigerator in the room made a loud noise all night. the hotel is in obvious need of repair. wallpaper is held up by clear tape. The furniture in the room was stained. Housekeepers seem to do a very good job cleaning the rooms though. Didnt eat the breakfast while I was there but they did have hot breakfast. Also, left some items in the room when we tried to go back and retrieve them. They said they didnt have them although we werent even gone less than 10 hours. For the price per night I expected a better experience. The staff wasnt rude but they werent the friendliest either.
- 3/5
The room and accommodations were fine. Reception and staff were friendly enough. I had issues sleeping due to road noise. May have been impacted by my room on the third floor but I heard trucks and cars late into the night and early the next morning. There might have been some commercial trucks running to nearby business. I am not sure but it was loud. Also felt the AC was not very efficient in cooling the room.
- 3/5
Average room for Wingate. Hasn’t been updated in a while
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Awesome stay. Will return
- 1/5
Room 204 has bed bugs
- 5/5
I like everything about this property.
- 4/5
Uncleaniness in the bathroom. The foyer. Around the bed. Breakfast was horrible.
- 2/5
Not a good place to stay.
- 5/5
It was a good stay for me. The room and bathroom were spacious, but the toilet and tub were very low. So, if you have bad knees or are very tall and want to soak in the tub, I feel for you. I am just glad I am short. The bed is so comfortable and high that I literally had to jump up it.
- 3/5
My only real complaint was the bathroom. It was dimly lit and had no exhaust fan. The bathroom smelled of mold and there were gaps that should of had caulk in them in the tub back splash. And the only light came from a vanity mirror that was very dim.
- 5/5
Very good!
- 2/5
Dirty, my window did not lock and the staff did nothing about it.
- 3/5
The price didn't match the quality of the hotel but it was still an enjoyable stay. It was quiet and had an accommodating staff.
- 3/5
Saw roaches
- 5/5
It was quite and clean the people was nice
- 2/5
Great bed but I would have stayed downtown.
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and nice.
- 5/5
Everything was 5 star from customer service to cleanliness.. I will be coming back
- 5/5
It was amazing stay from the time I walk in the door service was amazing.
- 5/5
Excellent!
- 2/5
It's definitely a good price, but not worth the money. Its old and run down, very noisy and gross
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable. The room is a little bit dated but it was very clean and cold air conditioning.
- 1/5
This was the WORST place I have ever stayed! The area is SUPER sketchy, my room stunk and the door lock didn’t work to secure the room. When I went to ask for a different room, they told me that because I used a bar of soap in the room after I use the bathroom that I couldn’t change rooms. I promptly left and found a fantastic place and when Expedia tried to get a refund the hotel refused to take their call.
- 3/5
Got humid in room
- 1/5
Wrong hotel total loss
- 3/5
Nothing. Will not stay again.
- 1/5
Bathroom and room was dirty, hotel overall was a dump. The staff was friendly
- 2/5
Pictures online are very inaccurate. This is definitely a budget hotel and not super clean. The bed was clean thankfully but you have to get over the other stuff. I could’ve taken more pics but this is just gross.
- 5/5
it was affordable Service was great and the room was clean.
- 3/5
It was okay. The lighting in the bathroom was very dim - no overhead lighting. The TV kept having to be reset - I called but end up figuring it out myself. Low rack for hanging clothes - I was in town for a ball and had a formal dress. The check in and check out procedure was good. I was given the option of staying on the first floor which was good - I walk with a cane. All were nice.
- 4/5
Everything was great until motorcycle woke me up early
- 5/5
This hotel exceeded my expectations. I was impressed with the friendly staff excellent service and how clean it is. I woild recommend this hotel to everyone.
- 1/5
Nothing
- 3/5
The property was ok for a 2 star hotel. There was no outside access at the end of the hall. The breakfast ran out of biscuits and they were not replenished. The bed was comfortable and room was large and quiet. The TV had a small picture. If you just need an inexpensive place to lay your head, this will eork.
- 4/5
Love staying at this location everytime I visit I stay here
- 4/5
I loved the large room, comfortable bed and good water pressure. Staff was friendly.
- 3/5
12" square pillows to sleep on is not comfortable.
- 3/5
Outdated building in an inconvenient location
- 4/5
On a busy highway you need to drive to restaurants or shopping but it is ok as long as you have a vehicle to get around.
- 5/5
Decent
- 5/5
It was an unplanned stop but it was clean quiet and a good bed. Little disappointed they had no tea for breakfast.
- 2/5
Dated, seemed sketchy on the outside
- 3/5
The area was an industry type area. There are lots were construction was started but was never finished. The hotel appears clean. The TV in the room did not receive a signal, the iron in the room was falling apart. The staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.
- 3/5
Noted very few patrons, and those may be “state funded”….or transiting utility crews.
- 5/5
I was attending a Women's Conference in Augusta, GA, plus I needed some R&R. So I decided to reserve a room and stay overnight. It was so peaceful I am so glad I stayed. The staff was very friendly and professional too.
- 4/5
I like the view green every were
- 3/5
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast staff was exceptional.
- 2/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the rooms had very poor lighting and the bathroom had not been properly cleaned because we found a used bar of soap still in the shower. We also alerted the staff that the window in our room was open with no screen for additional protection. A child could have easily opened the window which was on the second floor and could have been tragically hurt. It is my hope that management corrects this serious problem immediately.
- 3/5
The hotel was ok for such a short notice, Hotel needs a good cleaning, the hallways had a strong unpleasant smell, but the next day was much better,i still fabreeze the hallways, vending machine was not working properly, but overall the area was quite.
- 3/5
Breakfast was limited with no hot foods on the days we were there
- 1/5
#1 I entered my room and it was 92 degrees. and that was recorded with a digital thermometer. It also reeked of some despite it being a "non smoking hotel". When I complained to the front desk it was "that is impossible". It took over 8 hours to cool the room to 70 degrees. #2 the breakfast bar, and I use that term very loosley" should have a sign saying "eat at your own risk! It consisted of an urn of horrible stale coffee. a tray of egg like stuff, 4 little boxes of cereal (2 of which were opened. No Fruit, and a few packets of grits. What a joke. #3 the ice amkers on the 2nd and 3rd floor were turned off so you you had to go to the lobby to get ice. #4 There were hardly any TV channels. No ESPN, No movies. #5 The chair in the room was broken and the sofa should have been tossed years ago. # 6 I asked the front desk if there was any hot water to make tea. NO. #7. you better have a sleep mask because The amount of light coming in the room is crazy.
- 4/5
I needed a safe one night stay that didn't cost an arm and a leg. This fit the bill. They also offered a continental breakfast that got me to my next destination without my stomach grumbling.
- 1/5
It was a huge pile of vomit on the floor in the room. Took housebreaking awhile to clean up. It was gross. Front desk seemed very unbothered by our request to get it cleaned immediately
- 3/5
The property was newly renovated. The area was neat and clean. However, the carpet was damp. We reported it. The door was hard to get into at first. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had an shut-in smell. It smelled old.
- 4/5
Convenient to shopping centers and restaurants nearby.
- 1/5
the room was hot and smelled like smoke when e we walked in. my room was a non smoking room. the couch was stained. the carpet was dirty.
- 3/5
Staff was very nice but rooms are old and not the cleanest.
- 2/5
The television did not eork in my room for the first 2 days. When i tried to eat the complementary breakfast, the scrambled eggs were very cold. On the 2nd day, a pipe burst and my daughter and I were relocated the hotel next door. At that hotel, there were very load, annoying noises coming from the area above us.
- 3/5
The tv in my room did not work when I first checked in. I went downstairs for the complementary breakfast and everything was cold. After the second night a pipe burst and we were relocated to a neighboring hotel. We were on the first floor and it sounded like someone was running around and/ or working out above us the entire time.
- 2/5
The people were very nice and friendly. The room though was dirty and the buildings was damaged and poorly repaired. No bugs fortunately but not worth the price. I would recommend either spending more for a nicer place or less and getting the same quality.
- 1/5
I did not stay at this property. I showed up with a reservation and had my boyfriend and my little Yorkie who is a service animal for me and goes everywhere I go. I was immediately and rudely greeted by saying you can’t have him here even though he was wearing his service vest. As I explained that he is a service animal and not a pet and showed documentation the desk clerk rudely stated that didn’t matter and he couldn’t be there. I explained under the law he cannot refuse to rent me a room. After showing the documentation on him as a service animal. The clerk got his manager on the phone and I got the same spill of they don’t allow pets. Again he is not a pet and I just showed your clerk the documentation he asked me a bunch of stupid and irrelevant questions but I explained that does not change the law that states I have a right to have him here. I was tol okay. We will let you stay one night as if he were doing me a favor. I only needed one nigh. So he goes to check me in and says card declined. Tried another card. Car declined. I did this four or five times before pulling out my debit card which I know has money in it because I had just checked it and the cc I used all had 0 balance so I had access to the full credit line which was more than enough to cover the stay and any deposit or hold on the card until check out. Having one maybe two card declined could be a computer glitch but for four or five CC to be declined and my debit card also declined is suspicious.
- 5/5
Nice quite stay.
- 5/5
Very nice rooms
- 2/5
- The hot tub is "closed for covid". - the hot breakfast only had 1/2 of the stuff out (2 bagels, the pancake machine not working, nothing in the hot soup/oatmeal/gravy container, no hot tea or decaf coffee. - The TV didn't work in our first room. -The container of shampoo was mostly empty (clearly used) in the second room.
- 2/5
The bathroom, though very dark, was clean. The towels and washcloths were meh. The couch was a pétri dish. The bed was most uncomfortable. The room was hyper perfumed to cover up an obvious problem.
- 5/5
The staff is super friendly.
- 4/5
I stayed here on and off for a couple weeks before moving to Augusta. I had a few different rooms, some were better than others which I thought was weird. But the place was good overall, breakfast was good.
- 4/5
The property was decent. The staff was courteous. However Free Wi-Fi was not accessible. This was an inconvenience since I was on a business trip.
