Reviews
The hotel is in a convenient location, particularly for those visiting Six Flags, but the quality of the rooms and facilities varies greatly. Guests frequently complain about the smell of cigarettes and marijuana, as well as the limited breakfast options.
- Convenient location, particularly for visiting Six Flags
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Rooms often smell like cigarettes and marijuana
- Limited breakfast options

Room was clean. No handicap amenities
- 5/5
Let’s see, I have never slept on a hotel bed more comfortable than these. You could just sink right into the bed. The pillows were the softest ever. They had to be some type of real feathers. The room was very clean. It had everything you would need. I asked to check out at 12 and they were very nice and accommodating. Let’s stop giving some of these hotels such bad reviews just because you like to nitpick at every single little detail. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for anything else in a room. Many Thanks
- 3/5
Hotel smelled like cigarettes but tgey say no smoking and the hotel next door is the projects becareful at night and the breakfast is cereal and juice and i booked thru expedia and still asked for a 20$ deposit very strange ive booked all my hotels thru expedia an this was the first time i was asked for extra deposit.
- 5/5
The room was nice. Our only complaint was that the shower floor was extremely slick and didn't have any grippers. As soon as the floor gets wet, one is sure to slip. My husband just barely started the shower and then when he tried to walk out to grab some shampoo products we brought and left on the sink counter, he slipped and fell and hurt his toe and knees. It was scary and he was in pain for a while but thankfully he was OK. There is a grab bar in the shower, but that is not sufficient. I had to help him finish the shower - washing his hair and body for him while he grabbed onto the bar. We easily remedied the shower situation for the remainder of our stay - I went to Walmart and bought a rubber shower stall floor mat with suction cups on the bottom for $13. It worked perfectly and our entire family were able to take showers safely and independently from that point on. I am now going to pack this shower mat (it is light and takes little space) on every trip we go and use it in any hotel showers that have slick floors with no grippers. So, if you stay in this hotel, please bring a shower stall mat with you or pick up one at Walmart near the hotel. You will be thankful that you did and can enjoy your shower peacefully and safely.
- 3/5
It was a good experience for the area no issues only problem that was seen is that breakfast does not exist the only thing available was just coffee and nothing else.
- 3/5
The entire bottom floor smelt like weed. The pool was so hot you couldn't even enjoy it. The room was closed in no air or ventilation at all vending machines were down, woke up exspection continental breakfast it was nothing had a choice of cereal milk or coffee that's all. Parking was crap they rented the parking out for six flags parking
- 2/5
Just not well maintained.
- 3/5
Room was clean, air was cold parking was good, we went to 6 flags on a 6 min walk from hotel....My biggest complaint is the mattresses could be updated and replaced
- 4/5
Only bad thing i can say is the beds were hard but after a long day at the six flags you barely notice
- 4/5
We stayed on a Wednesday through Friday. Truist stadium is about a 15 min. drive. all in all we had a great time in Atlanta. Would stay again for the money.
- 4/5
The place wasn't bad, only on the 1st floor while going to the pool was there the smell of a marijuana (skunk). Didn't smell it outside and only on the 1st floor. Was great walking distance to the park (Six Flags). 1st night we did get locked out of our room after going to the pool. So, we sat wet for about 25mins, till the manager could come and get the key from his office to unlock our door. They did give us a different room after that and was only a mild inconvenience. Also, when they say breakfast included, be sure and understand this is cereal and milk, orange juice and coffee. That was it. Guess you could look at it as "you get what you pay for". As for 2 nights and walk to Six Flags, it was good.
- 1/5
Breakfast is two choices of cereal.. booked a non-smoking room and it smelled like weed. Water stains on the ceiling and two different spots and you could see under the door to the hallway
- 4/5
Good room 😃
- 5/5
We love it. We stay to go to six flags and have stayed 5+ times so far and every stay has been perfect. Rooms are clean and staff is nice.
- 4/5
Breakfast was terrible but that the only complant.
- 1/5
What I did not about the property was only selection of cereal for breakfast along the side with milk and juice. The pool sign says 10a-10p but they don’t open the pool until 5-6pm and make it sound like an inconvenience about opening the pool. Not only in the pool area but inside our room there is black mold to be seen. For the price we paid I feel like the mold should have been taken care of as well as more points than just cereal. With that being said they charged a $50 deposit for my son’s service dog which is against ADA laws. I hope that they continue to fix this place up their is definitely potential.
- 5/5
We love that it was so close to six flags over ga and the staff was very friendly and tje riom was very clean.
- 4/5
Good basic hotel just breakfast was nothing but cereal
- 4/5
This place is not new, so don’t expect much. I was impressed that the beds were made and fresh towels brought on the second day. Not many hotels do that anymore. A solid option if you are not too particular.
- 5/5
Everything
- 4/5
Quality Room for the pricing staff was friendly outside was clean no issues will stay again
- 5/5
We love staying here to go to Six Flags. Its the perfect location and the hotel is nice.
- 5/5
I think it should be better way for the customers already there to have parking
- 3/5
The staff was friendly enough but thr morning free breakfast only had two types of cereal and nothing else. Of the six mornings we were there, we only had their bteakfast the first day.
- 5/5
The front desk was very helpful very professional and absolutely just wonderful. They made my stay there one of the best I’ve had.
- 3/5
By breakfast they mean cereal and that's it
- 4/5
Our stay was pleasant and the accomodations were satisfactory. The hotel's definition of "breakfast" is very basic. All that was offered was 2 types of cereals, milk / juice and coffee. There is no elevator for those staying on the 2nd floor. When we asked if there was an elevator, the person at the front desk smugly stated, "It's only 2 flights of stairs". The distance from Six Flags at Georgia was a pleasant surprise. Overall, our stay was satisfactory.
- 2/5
Beds were very small. It’s hard for 2 people to sleep. The continental breakfast was a joke. It was 2 types of cereal that is all…. Very weird and kinda creepy. Maybe as a last resort. Should have looked at reviews more in depth.
- 5/5
Nothing, everything and everybody was great
- 3/5
When we arrive it was latw and the receptionist got us checked in and up to our rooms. Thwre down side is there is no elevators so you have to tote all your luggage up 2 flights of stairs. Rhey said they have breakfast, but it's 2 kinds of cereals with juice and coffee.
- 3/5
No elevator. Had bed bugs. Weird smell in tue lobby.
- 4/5
It was a nice stay. The staff was friendly and the room was clean.
- 4/5
Everything was great except the complimentary breakfast.. the only thing they serve is cereal, coffee and apple and orange juice.. overall it was a great stay very close to the theme park.
- 3/5
The front desk charged me a$35 deposit and refused to refund at checkout and said no one gets back deposit. When I checked in the clerk assured me that I would get my cash deposit. What a racket they got going on there
- 4/5
Reasonable in price Cool Staff
- 5/5
Breakfast good have been better.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Close to Six Flags and interstates, good price. Will keep on list for further visits
- 1/5
Still working on getting my refund I check in then I check out 7mins after I check in….the very 1st night…
- 5/5
Lovely stay
- 5/5
Easy check in process. It’s super close to Six Flags so we didn’t have to drive far when we left the park. The staff was friendly.
- 5/5
Very quiet, clean and peaceful.
- 5/5
Not bad for the price. Enjoyed the pool and cereal for breakfast
- 5/5
Great stay and room services.
- 3/5
It was clean on the inside, the hotel beside it was very very rough. The “breakfast” was cereal, no coffee in rooms. Next time I will travel a little further for a room. If you want something close to six flags it’s perfect but can’t promise you won’t get robbed.
- 3/5
First of all, the facility itself is not as well kept as the pictures indicate. It's not dilapidated; but it is showing a lack of attention throughout. Our students entered a hallway of rooms where they had to immediately contend with the smell of marijuana. One group were given keys to a room that was already occupied. The workers at the desk were moderately kind and helpful. *Breakfast: The hotel promotes a free continental breakfast. Again, pictures show a fairly nice setup. In reality, there were two types of cereal, two types of juice and coffee. They sometimes had milk. Extremely disappointing - especially since the breakfast was one of the things for which I was specifically looking when booking lodging. We had to go elsewhere and purchase breakfast for the two mornings we were there. On the positive side: The rooms were appropriately clean and comfortable. Everything in them worked properly. If the hotel were to address even some of the issues above, I think they would be fine. We were not expecting luxury in this price range; but we WERE expecting better than we found. In its current state, I will definitely avoid returning to this Rodeway Inn.
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Great staff friendly respectful clean. And always going above and beyond to please customers.
- 5/5
It was convenient
- 3/5
The bed was very comfortable, and I slept well after I fell asleep.
- 1/5
Nothing the family owned hotel was not what I expected no breakfast the owners watched u like a hawk no elevator had one entrance and the place was like a prison...
- 4/5
Short stay but no real breakfast. Dry cereal and no milk or coffee were the only options. So? No options. That was a bit disappointing. Otherwise enjoyed the short stay.
- 4/5
Stayed here for two nights for 6 flags. Had 2 beds very uncomfortable. Room was nice. Friendly staff. Half ways and front smelled aweful! Room was fine tho. If your needing a place to stay I would say this would be a okay place as long as your not looking for a big nice area.
- 2/5
Staff was friendly.
- 5/5
Would stay again
- 5/5
Everything
- 4/5
It was nice stay
- 1/5
The room was hot because the AC was turned off.The carpet was not clean and the breakfast was not good. They have cereal and milk, coffee ,apples juice, and orange juice .That’s all they had for breakfast.
- 5/5
I loved my stay.vit was almost like staying with family.
- 4/5
Close area to park
- 5/5
Unbelievably nice owners and staff
- 2/5
It smelled, stains on sheets , very noisy, people living in the hotels around it, loud music.
- 5/5
Great stay clean room check in fast and check out fast will stay again
- 3/5
Property is close to Six Flags; however, facility overlooks a what seem to be a broken down motel with covered pool and debris all around it. Staff friendly and helpful. Definitely not a five star hotel, but if looking for a rest stop for a short stay, this is the place
- 1/5
Our vehicle was vandalized and window broken. There was 7 other cars vandalized. Would be nice if staff could alert us of the happening but nothing.
- 5/5
There was 9 cars broken into in the parking lot.everyone had a window busted out. My family want be staying again.
- 4/5
The rooms was ok for the price
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
The property was well maintained and our room was comfortable. Biggest complaint….the complimentary breakfast was cereal, coffee and juice. Please add to the breakfast.
- 1/5
Every time we opened the door we got a contact high. We had to pay a deposits to promise not to smoke in it. 2nd floor nonsmoking(they all smelled like they were smoking), first floor is smoking. Breakfast hahaha it was cherios and fruity pepples, honestly how bad it smelled i wouldnt have ate anything there. The rooms were meh. One door was broken we got back and it never locked! The pool was grosss so gross it had millions of ant crawling the walls. You cant understand the owner
- 2/5
I’m a first off by saying the property it’s OK for the price that you pay and a deposit is very cheap but if you have small children I definitely do not recommend you bring them here especially if you have kids that are prone to making messes The staff is not friendly towards children to say that they’re so close to an amusement park like that and breakfasts you only get cereal and milk and coffee
- 2/5
They have ants everywhere inside the facility. And must be infested with stink bugs. Someone came to the room with bug spray but instead climbed on the bed to kill it and did not offer to change the bedding. After I asked the bedding be changed he took the cover off and brought me a fresh cover. Later on the stink bugs came back out. He said they were not infested just that the guest prior to our stay must have left the windows open to let them in. I didn’t even bother to see what breakfast was like.
- 4/5
Good stay....only cereal for breakfast
- 3/5
Decent hotel with mostly clean rooms. Good for a one night stay where you won't be spending much time in the room. Wouldn't bring my kids.
- 2/5
Facilities were in very poor condition and not well maintained. Ice machine was broken. Vending machines were out of service. No elevator. Whole building smelled like strange smoke.
- 3/5
The staff was friendly. Place was pretty decent. I must have missed the part where they posted NO STAIRS. Breakfast consisted of your choice of 2 different cereal and juice. I walked to Six Flags from the hotel, I would not recommend doing that after dark. (Was just me)
- 3/5
Light fixtures were hanging out of the ceiling. Property was old. Very thin walls, people yelling at 4am in the morning. Staff was very nice. Ok for a quick stop over.
- 5/5
It was great
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful, the property was safe.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 1/5
"We take extra precautions to separate our Non-smoking from the smoking rooms that's why it is MORE expensive" they said. Room came with a cigarette smell nevertheless with smoke holes burnt into the cover sheet as a decoration extra. Do no be fooled with the free breakfast that consisted of ONE fruit, jam and toast..cereals can be soaked in water since that's how everyone eats it apparently! What an amazing con you achieved Patel!
- 4/5
Although it isn't a major hotel chain it was very nice. We didn't get the chance to have breakfast because we overslept. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. You feel safe. The only drawback is the room we were in most of the outlets didn't work. There was trouble connecting to the wifi which isn't secure so I was wary of that. But overall i give it a 4 out of 5.
- 3/5
The hotel was very outdated the best thing about it was the pool the indoor pool was great but the people staying in the hotel behind them kind of sketchy people living in a hotel behind them you can see it out your window they're grilling it's just a bad look good location if you're trying to go to six flags but overall if you're planning on staying for a length of time you're better off going somewhere else
- 5/5
Great stay. They shouldn’t advertise “breakfast”. Offered only Frosted Flakes and Fruity Pebbles….which both were probably generic.
- 5/5
This is the perfect hotel for a six flags trip. Walking distance to the park (actually closer to the main gate than it is to walk from the six flags parking lot). Very clean room, cereal for breakfast and great coffee.
- 5/5
Ok
- 1/5
Don’t want to stay in the hotel again although its location is convenient.
- 3/5
The continental breakfast was just a couple of dry cereal options, coffee, and watered down juice. Convenient walk to Six Flags. Beds were small and uncomfortable. Indoor pool was convenient.
- 5/5
I arrived early and they checked us in no problem. Me and my grandbaby swam in the pool and had a great time. Had a problem getting the tv to work called front desk and came and fixed it quickly
- 5/5
Family trip to Six Flags. It was clean and the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The grandkids loved swimming in the indoor swimming pool and practicing their vocals since the acoustics were amazing. We will definitely stay here when we go back😄
- 1/5
This hotel is warn out. It is shabby, and dirty looking. We would never stay there again!!!! The receptionist employees were NOT friendly. Didn't smile, or make you feel welcome. We have been traveling for 3 weeks, and stayed at numerous hotels during these 3 weeks, and this was the worst one. The towels in our room had marks on them. Not just one but several pieces had black marks. The material on the bottom of our bed had black marks on it, like someone had scribbled on it. The refrigerator made a lot of noise. Their breakfast was a total joke. 2 kinds of dried cereal. Frosted flakes, and Trix, apple and orange juice, milk and coffee. That was it. We were at some other hotels, and their breakfasts were very nice. I should have taken some pictures,
- 5/5
It was comfortable no complaints.
- 4/5
When I arrived n went to take a shower there was blonde hair on the wall in the shower as in I have black hair so definitely not mine.
- 1/5
Room was dirty smelly lights sun tv did not work
- 5/5
Great place
- 1/5
I didn’t like how rude the manager and staff were. Very unprofessional and were stealing my things. I’ve actually had to get a police report because the house keeper stole 2 of my items. I wouldn’t recommend no one to visit rodeway inn hotel by six flags.
- 1/5
Blood on my towels, dirty room, manager was rude and bragged about refusing to refund me or switch rooms.
- 2/5
We stayed one night after a concert and the room was quiet, but very basic. There were certainly no frills. I thought we had missed breakfast and was told there was breakfast…two choices of cereal, milk, and coffee. It wasn’t a terrible stay, but it was very disappointing.
- 5/5
I Appreciate The Staff
- 5/5
The Staff Is Wonderful & The Property Is Well Maintained. It's A Welcoming Environment For Families.
- 5/5
Very clean and within walking distance to six flags with FREE parking!!!
- 3/5
Old hotel with lots of paint layers. Staff was friendly, but fridge in our room didn't work and there was spice smell that was in all the common areas.
- 5/5
The rooms were great and very clean, The Beds were a little soft for me but I slept great. The Hospitality was what we expected (Awesome)
- 1/5
Never ever ever again! First the good…the young man who helped us check in was very kind and accommodating. He was quick and efficient. That was the best part about the entire experience. Now the bad…the pictures are not what the property actually looks like. It reeked of cigarettes, I had cigarette burn holes in my curtains and in the pillow cases. The shower was not cleaned when we first got there, but was cleaned after housekeeping came the next day. There was residue on the toilet seat. No ironing board nor iron, so I went to ask for one and it was broken. Had to lay it on my bed just to use it. Breakfast is only cereal. The morning of my last day there, 4:57am to be exact, a guy came running down the hallway knocked loudly on everyone’s door then screaming to the top of his lung for some lady to give him his stuff using profanity and beating on the door nonstop. I couldn’t take it anymore and left immediately around 6am. That’s what I get for trying to save a buck or two. In this case I paid way more than what this place is worth.
- 5/5
Walking distance to six flags
- 4/5
The lady at the front desk was very polite and welcoming when we checked in .When we walked into our room the first night there was an open condom wrapper on the floor and open Wendy's bbq packet laying by the bed. Got up the next morning to get breakfast downstairs just to find out it was inly cereal and coffee and not a full continental breakfast. The pool was indoors but the water was super cold. Everyday i had to get my room key reactivated. But besides the stuff i found or seen for the money it was an ok hotel
- 1/5
Walked in the place smells like weed. Questionable people coming and going. Place is run down. Hotel next door is a total dump
- 5/5
For a family trip to Six Flags this was great. Very close to Six Flags and easy to park at the hotel. One of the beds in our room was very hard and uncomfortable but the other was nicer. The breakfast was two kind of cereal and the coffee had a burnt smell. Overall not a bad place to stay for a couple of night for the price.
- 2/5
I liked how it was close to Six Flags. I did not like how there was not even a small coffeepot in the room. The breakfast that was there was only two cereals to eat. The same milk you would use for the cereal was the same milk you had to use for your coffee.
- 1/5
This was the worst stay in a hotel i have had in a long time. The room was 80 degrees when we checked in and took forever to cool down. It smelled so bad like cigarette smoke and it was a non smoking room. And to top it all off there was someone down the hall smoking weed. The whole hallway and lobby stunk like weed.
- 4/5
Our room was clean. The location to Six Flags over Georgia was great. As a guest at hotel you get to leave your car there and walk to Six Flags, so no paying for parking at the park.
- 3/5
You can walk to six flags! But breakfast that’s “included” is a bowl of cereal and the pool is inside with no AC, so no way possible you could swim in that heat. Worse than an attic.
- 5/5
it was very convenient for our stay because it was not far from the points of interest and it has hot water which is very important for us in addition to the services in the room.
- 4/5
We just needed a one night stay between white water & six flags, beds were comfortable, room was clean, close proximity to Six flags. Pillows are a little thin, and bathroom is small, but overall for the price is worth the stay.
- 4/5
Very convenient location. One minute from six flags and the venue I was going to. 10 minutes drive from Walmart. Budget friendly. I think it is a 2 or three star hotel so the rating is correct. You do get what you pay for but I only stayed for one night so it served it’s purpose. Would stay again if I was on a tight budget.
- 3/5
Lobby smelled like smoke.
- 3/5
It reeked of cigarettes!!! The lobby chairs on second floor were dirty and ad holes.
- 1/5
Yes. Bad customer service. A kid was at the front desk on FaceTime with a girl talking to her instead of checking me into my room in a timely manner. Smushed bugs on the wall. Cigarette wholes on the bed covers and sheets and curtains. Shower not clean
- 2/5
There were homeless people EVERYWHERE outside the hotel and some even came in and helped themselves to the free breakfast. The ones outside were bumming cigs off of people, and one was even rapping. I didn't feel very safe with all of that going on.
- 3/5
The indoor year round pool was drained and no water to the hotel for almost 6 hours. One of the desk clerks tried to claim my 15 and 13 year old kids were grown adults
- 2.5/5
Not crowded
- 0.5/5
Smelled
- 0.5/5
The room was dirty and my cellphone was stolen
- 1.5/5
The sorriest excuse for a breakfast I've ever seen at a hotel.Mini honey bun, plain white bread or generic cereal. Small parking spaces and the lot was completely full when I got in. Overpriced for the quality of the hotel
- 1/5
Just plain nasty.
- 0.5/5

No
- 1.5/5
Customer service, better breakfast. It's near six flags
- 5/5
Nope
- 5/5
Great location! We walked to Six Flags and took a mid-day break from the park back in the hotel.
- 1.5/5
The Clerk at the front desk was extremely rude and the place had an awful smell. There was a drug raid in the middle of the night and we were approached several times about buying drugs. Not a family friendly hotel.
- 4/5
Staff was fantastic, expectations were exceeded for the price of the room.
- 3.5/5
Filty carpet and toilet seat was old
