It look clean and good, untill I went to make coffee and roaches came running out of the maker. I usually love this location, so they might need to keep up with exterminator, different guess could be leaving their pet house bugs.

Renovation is long overdue for this property. From the broken stairs to the trash littering the grounds, it's clear that maintenance has been neglected. The filthy air conditioning filters are just another indication of the property's state of disrepair.

First. We had a full blown safety concern the entire stay. One guy backed into the wall of our hotel room one night and stumbled up the stairs drunk, all on camera and the hotel didn’t seem to care. He seemed to be one of their more regular tenants too. Now, the lack of amenities for an extended stay hotel were laughable. Just to note for context: we booked a double bed room for 4 people. The only toiletries offered were 2 small bar soaps. There was no extra toilet paper. There was no soap for the kitchenette. There was no silverware, plates, or anything to eat on or cook with, even though there was a full side fridge and freezer, stove (that looked broken), microwave, and toaster in the room. There was only 2 coffee for 4 people on a 3 day stay. I realized we could’ve asked for more, but their office hours were limited and didn’t work with our schedule Other issues: The water in the shower wasn’t hot. It was lukewarm at best. The WiFi didn’t reach our room. It was pretty spotty all over the property, and by the time we realized we had already unpacked. Their office hours were super limited. The room itself and beds were decently clean but lacked comfort because the sheets, and blankets/comforter were thin. The bathroom floor was not clean.

Staff was kind and helpful. But a goodvpaint job doesnt fix a bad hotel. Kitchen top barely worked. And roaches within the second day. Bad smells. But the crackhead drama at night was entertaining.

The room was outdated there was rust and the AC didn't work to great. If you planned to use the stove there was no pans or utensils. Beds were comfy and had plenty of towels. Also was a very quiet area and was able to door dash and set off the highway enough that you didn't hear all that traffic noise.

Our room was a non-smoking room, but it stenched like cigarettes. Had the house keeper spray an air freshener, but that didn't help much. Wifi didn't reach to our room. There was tiny roaches all over the room. Refrigerator didn't even get cold properly even when we adjusted the temperature in it. Shower did not have hot water, the most was luke warm water.

I was given a room where the toilet didn’t flush nor did the remote work. It also smelled like smoke.

Disgusting! There was dog hairs, dog food in the closet, the closet doors didn’t close, the AC didn’t work properly, extremely humid and muggy.

The room was clean upon arrival; the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and parking was always available, from my observation.

Otherwise, I have no other issues during my stay there. I never felt the need to take pictures while I was there. So I have none to share. And I’m no longer at the hotel; I’ve moved into an apartment in Austin, in a wonderful 2 bedroom apartment, in a peaceful community. That l can present pics for to share with anyone who wants to move to this community.

It did not have kitchenware, parking was accessible, the room was very clean but there was a very potent weed smell lol. Also me and my girlfriend woke up at 5AM to a bunch of men screaming and punching the wall next to us. Other than that, pretty chill and tolerable stay.

The staff at Studio 6 Extended Stay is always helpful and very accommodating in regards to special request, i.e., towels, room service, etc. The immediate surrounding area has delicious restaurants to include the local Chili’s. Have a Great Time in your Travels to the Extraordinary City of Austin TX!!!!

Pros: room was clean, bed comfortable, shower amazing, nice set up, quiet no drama or solicitors, ample parking, and reasonable cost. Cons: Room smells like smoke, no toiletries other than one use soap bars, towels a bit stained, tub stained. Conclusion: If you're super picky or can’t live with a popcorn ceiling type of vibe, this place isn't for you. But for me, I extended my stay twice and will come back again if need be.

Overall stay was good. Stayed 2 nights had to check back in no staff in front office when went to confirm second night. Even after contract made cleaning staff removed all my items. Did speak with staff before hand to inform them no need to clean room and items were still removed. Better communication among staff members.

Temo the check out manager was great. Very efficient; helped us resolve our payment issue while also handling a constant stream of other customers. Amazing job. Norma the check in manager was awful. She was a substitute and kept telling us she was new and didn't know how to check us in. She wasted 4 hours of our time and after checking us in incorrectly, she kept refusing to let us talk to a manager yet couldn't offer us any solution other than to accept a single bed room even though we paid for double. Terrible experience. Also our cards kept deactivating. I got locked out at 2 in the morning because my card stopped working.

The front desk staff was attentive and personable. All of the countertops in the room were sticky. The desk under the TV was covered in crumbs as if someone had just eaten there.

not the best studio 6 to stay at but it had to do with the budget i had. the room was okay. the laundry room was neat because if you dont have quarters, you can pay thru the phone. HOWEVER, there was a incident that happen and it was so bad that police were called & it was nasty. my card reader for door wasnt responding 3 times & they gave me so many cards to try. idk someone needs to update the studio 6 because i had to visit the office 3 times to get it replaced.

Location They don’t have night office hours. I got locked out at night as in my key cards were not working and had to be reactivated but no one was in the office to help me. I called the number on the posted note on the office door but it said that number is not available. After a few hours some one came bye and helped us out but that would have been a scary night for me if I was alone and no one came bye

Room appeared clean until u were met with the roaches. Asked to be moved and i was put in another room on opposite side but same building. Told another staff member of the situation and i was told thanks for letting me know. Sorry we cant spray until room is unoccupied. I tried to get help from expedia but their attempt to "try" was slim and i was told sorry cant reach them ur out of luck. Since i was waiting for my refund from the other hotel and just paid out another big amount for this hotel i was exhausted of all funds to change to another hotel.

Right after booking my stay I was really concerned about staying because NO one would answer the damn phone! That actually pissed me off. I had a question, and no one was there to answer that question, I had to hope for the best.

Late night staff is so rude and seeking a reason to yell at people.

I was locked out of my room at 2 am under freezing weather conditions because the electronic door card denied working. I went to lobby to find a solution. The lobby guy seeks a reason to yell at people. Because I interrupted his sleep during his shift that he should already be awake. I used to go there almost every week. This happened a few times and I said that’s enough. Every time I go there somehow I am being yelled at. I don’t recommend it at all. There are lots of similar hotels in that area. Rude people don’t deserve a penny.

The reason why I’m giving two stars instead of three, it’s because the second room that we got after the first roach invested room. I had got a second room number 220# and they didn’t have roaches the last time I got 220 about 2 weeks ago. But long behold then same thing happened. Me and my boo were about to lay down and two of them came out from under the bed and kitchen.

Room was not cleaned. Came back to dirty sheets. The stairs leading to the rooms had a step that is broken thus unusable. When I checked in, the guy at the desk had terrible service. Guy really hates his job. I walked out to pick up an uber, the smell of marijuana was coming out of three rooms

This place looks nothing like the pictures. I don't think they even clean it. It was dusty and full of roaches. The AC made an extremely annoying loud noise. I checked out five minutes after seeing it because I would rather lose money than sleep here.

One of the most unclean and unkept hotels I have ever stayed at. It's dirty, it has a known area that is dangerous to stay in because of drugs, and the staff was unprofessional. Made me wait 10 minutes while she took a personal phone call causing a line of people waiting. Then had her daughter there and gave her access with the master key to go into a room.

Property was clean and updated. We traveled with 2 small dogs and there was an adequate area for them to relieve themselves. The room was comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is having 4 pillows on each queen bed instead of only 2.

The room has roaches in the kitchen and bathroom. A baby roach was on the bed. A huge one crawled across my foot while at the bathroom sink this morning. The water pressure in bathroom sink is extremely low. Front desk staff said the water pressure throughout this hotel is very low. [Why don't they fix that?] No sink stoppers or screens in the bathroom sink and tub. Shower curtain keeps swinging down, preventing the curtain from remaining closed. The Internet is slow and choppy. It kept going out all weekend, disrupting my work deadlines. I had to buy Lysol disinfectant spray to mitigate the dog smell, especially around the bed support and had to get new bed pillows from the front desk. The ones on the bed smelled like dog/musty. Microwave has rusty exposed metal inside the lower back of the oven. I won't use it for safety reasons. Front desk if always out of clean towels. I have photos and videos. The front entry of the room is very dirty. Some front desk staff are rude and indifferent to my room issues and complaints. What am I paying for?

Have maintenace people available

They were understaffed. At one point our bathroom door got locked up, went to the office to ask for help, but they said sorry, no maintenance people available, plus they didnt have time right away becase they were busy checking in other people... so I had to go to the hardware store, buy a screwdriver and unlock the door myself.

Also, the whole place just had unsafe vibes, as well as the place around. The room was clean but some things felt a little sticky from the cleaners. Also my door had a weird opening at the bottom, like to door was pushed in a bit or kicked so during the day, sunlight came in (Room 255). I was terrified that anyone could put something through that to try to open my door at night or bugs come in. I wanted to be ok and just brave it for the one night, but honestly, I ended up leaving and not even staying. I think if you’re trying to save money and anything will do, or you’re a guy on a budget, that’s fine stay here. If you’re a girl on a budget, girl, choose a safer place and get out of here. This is a no for you. Also, when you come in the room is hot and smells a little weird because you have to turn the AC on and it does take a while.

There are chain restaurants in the same parking lot which was nice, but the area was a little sketchy. I didn’t feel safe to walk my dogs alone because of a few guys who stared much too long and seemed to be loitering. The dog fee was $10 per night for up to 2 dogs which was great, and we were also charged a $4 utility fee (I have never heard of this type of fee before so it caught me off guard). Our room had an enormous spider (I think it was a young tarantula) crawl out across my feet in the bathroom and the next day I saw a roach in the shower. We only stayed for 2 nights so to see bugs on both days was concerning. The floor was very dirty, my feet turned dark after walking barefoot through the room. We found a bloodstain on the bedsheets as we were preparing to check out, so it made me question how deeply the room had been cleaned before us checking in. Having a fridge/freezer was nice. There was a microwave and 2 high top chairs (with crumbs on both seats) in the room. I don’t know.. the hotel was fine in a pinch but not sure I would stay here again.

Parking was easy but I had to go back to the office to get a new card because the card I was given wasn’t working, so I had to drive back to the office. That was really inconvenient.

Room was good. Like the fact that it is dog friendly, and when the dogs need to be taken out in the late night, or early morning, the parking lot is lit up very well. Check in and out was simple. Plenty of shopping places around if needed. Will stay again.

On my first night staying there, my tools got stolen. I went to the office in the morning to see if they could help me report it, but it was closed. Looks like they don’t open early. I went back later and they didn’t want to help. Honestly, I felt really let down by how they handled it.

The guy who works for this property is all out rude and not professional at all, along with the little Asian lady. I am a manager as well and these two were very unprofessional and need to be taken back into training. Other than that my experience over all is 7 out of 10

We could not use the safety lock on the exteriors door. The bathroom door wouldn’t close. The area around the tub was dirty. The towel rack was rusty. There was no hair dryer. I could not even borrow one. The mattress was worn; I felt like I was sleeping in a bowl. I would NOT recommend Studio 6 to ANY traveler.

Un staffed on weekend have paper up saying call this # if you need anything. My room key failed to work the second night of my stay had to call # and wait until someone showed up to open door to office to reprogram a working key card

Checkin was delayed by 2.5 hrs and they wouldn’t even accommodate us with a later checkout…only 30min. Pictures do not match the reality as well. This is a mistake we won’t be making again in HR future.

Their heaters were broken and it was 33 degrees outside. I slept in all my winter wear. The sheets were prett crappy and seemed very old. Bring your own bedding if you stay here.

The pictures are NOT what I got in person. They are very misleading and if I had time to make other arrangements I would have. The people were nice but this place is run down, homeless people were hanging out in the area, and the place was noisy.

My stay was ok. Everytime someone shut the door to their room, it shook my wall and bed. It scared me in the middle of the night. The shower wasn't as hot as I liked it. Overall, it was clean and a somewhat pleasant stay.

You get what you pay for. It was quiet and the room was clean overall. However, they need to mop. Also, somebody broke a mug in the hallway and they didn't pick it up til the next day. Finally, they only come tidy up the room once you've stayed 3 days.

The pictures are deceiving. I like to cook when I travel for work and save money so I make sure to get a room with a kitchenette.. The fridge didn't work. And while I had a kitchenette, there were no dishes, silverware, pots or pans. Nothing. I called the front desk thinking I had to request those things and they said nope.. they just don't have them.

There was a Winter Storm In TX On Feb 16,17,18, & 19. I rented a room for two nights & turns out the heater didn't work & finding out the heater didn't work in any other room as well. I noticed when I went outside it was so quiet there meaning no wall air units weren't on. I wasn't the only one stuck in the cold.

The short Mexican midget behind the counter will go out of his way to make sure you have a terrible checkin if he’s not just blatantly taking out his aggressions on life on you. He keeps inviting me back to his room when ever I stay there and I keep telling him no. So now everytime I go there he has started making up reasons to get me to leave. And this past time actually told the booking site I went through that I was using fake is and credit cards to check in. They quickly realized that he was lying after I just sent photos of everything. But my point is be very very careful when going here. Their game is to take people who have paid reservations and not let them check in so that they can keep the nights rent and re rent the room. They also have you put a deposit down (not one other motel 6 out of ten in all of Austin charges a deposit. None.)and you are required to go checkout and if you are s minute late or if you don’t bring the paperwork with you or if you don’t go to checkout period they keep your deposit. U are also required to show if to get your deposit back and thats if they decide you deserve it back and haven’t made up some excuse like they did for me to keep it. I’m not joking I have reported these people a total of four times now to various agencies. And this time Im decided to make sure everyone knows.

I usually don’t have a problem with this hotel but when I woke up one morning there was a threatening note on my car window when I took the note to office the clerk said she would look at the cameras and get back with me and I never heard back from her….

The gentleman at the front was extremely helpful but the heater was down and the primary reason for my stay was because it was so so cold out so it wasn’t the best stay. It was only for one night so I wasn’t going to make a big deal out of it. Plus I’ve stayed here

Air conditioner was extremely dirty you could see the years of accumulated dirt and dust most of the front was broken off the unit. Bottom seal of door missing you could see the light from out side and feel the wind blowing trough. Didn't ask to switch rooms didn't want a worse room or get stuck next to a unfavorable guest a looked like quite a few staying.

Given his attitude and the fundamental disregard of client comfort he's one got to be a family member of the owners and two, the management (family) doesn't care either.

The property is nice but I don’t see how we get a room with the kitchen and they tell us they have no kitchen appliances to be used

Very cute room, pretty clean. Would be nice to have cold beverages in the vending machine. The first man with tattoos that checked me in was great. The second guy was rude and was just sitting in the back watching tv while I stood waiting forever and had to yell for him to even come up. Overall cute place.
