LOVED THEIR KITCHEN AREA AND IT WAS FULLY STOCKED!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff, clean rooms, clean pool, good breakfast

The room was clean, beds were comfortable and the amenities were more than expected. Free breakfast as well as dinner. The family was tired after a day long drive and the dinner was a lifesaver since we were all too tired to go out to a restaurant. Staff was polite and helpful. Thank you for a nice stay. My only complaint was $75 dog fee for one night stay. I thought it was steep compared to other hotels we stayed at.

Front desk staff named Nicole (if I’m not mistaking her name) was very uninterested in her job. No hellos, no smiles, no greetings or whatsoever except for a very bland “how can I help you” but she was not very helpful. I requested to be close to a specific friend because it is her wedding day and we are part of the bridesmaid party that needed to help her get ready. At check in and after politely reiterating my request for a room close to the bride, Nicole gave me a room very far from the bride and stated that since I’m not a “Hilton member” I couldn’t be accommodated. However another friend of mine who is male (not part of the bridal party) and who checked in less than an hour after me, was automatically asked by Nicole if he wanted to be close to the bride, so his room was a lot closer than mine. Other than this unpleasant interaction with Nicole, the room was at least clean and nice. Breakfast was also nice. But I would hope they train Nicole better moving forward because front desk staff can leave a very lasting impression.

Love the location of this hotel is pretty close to CSUB and it has a pool and a great breakfast! They just need a jacuzzi! 😉

Our room was good for our stay lobby was nice and staff at breakfast were helpful , nicely equipped and clean however truely outdated needs remodeling peeling wallpaper and smelled of old smoke we had a back room in last hallway baby was crying in a room across the hall with apparently no help or care very uncomfortable , dogs barking in another room early am , elevator was clunky and shaky I think some improvements would improve this nice place tremendously. Super nice area and neighborhood close to stores and convenient

And bugs jumping out of the sink. I am not sure if all "suites" there are like this. Or if I just got really lucky. It was so bad that I had to "flee" the property at 11:30 pm. And sleep in my car. I only stayed there because I was having construction done on my own home nearby. Never ever would think this hotel would be so run down and discusting. Especially considering the location. Still charged for 2 nights there. That I will e disputing. Expedia.. said they would dispute it for me. We shall see if they make this right. Never leave bad reviews ever!

The property was beautiful. Room and Appliances clean. The Room did have wallpaper peeling in different areas, light fixture turn on and off by itself. Shower water leaking out of tub to wall and floor causing damage to wall and floor.

I reserved two beds in my room only to arrive and a King was the only option.

The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast layout had ample fresh food.

It was fine for what I needed, but I’ll stay elsewhere next time. It is in a good location, but the hotel seems past its prime. That said, it was clean and safe.

Great property. Great day. Just needs to be updated. The bathtub had a repair done. It looks like they just painted it in the bottom. Was slippery for kids. definitely recommend replacing them.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and the rooms very spacious, wonderful breakfast and the outside seating area was very nice. Our kids also really enjoyed the pool. My one complaint is that we didn't notice until 9:00 PM that they had only stocked 3 towels in our room even though there were 4 of us. I know many hotels are doing this now, but when I went to the desk to inquire I was told that they could not give us another towel and that we could check with housekeeping in the morning around 8AM, which would not work for us since we needed to get on the road early. I've never had a hotel not able to provide us a towel for every person and it seems ridiculous for the money we paid. The pool was also out of towels at that point and we were told there would be no more pool towels. Had we not brought some beach towels in our vehicle we would've had to use our room towels and then would not have them in the morning.

Hotel itself was fairly nice and price for the night was reasonable. Front desk girl who checked us in was flustered and rude with poor communication skills (possibly due to a difficult guest her co-worker was dealing with right next to us) pool was outdoor and heated but no hot tub.

We had to wait an extra 4 hours to be let in our room the excuse was because it was a big room they should disclose that in the booking. Then when I asked if could check out late , I got a huge speech on how it would cost them the next customer so it was ok to keep me waiting but not the next person. The pool was also full of crickets and everywhere you looked in the lobbies or pool area the trashes were full and the elevator just had trash outside.

This Hotel is one of the best i have stayed in - newer, extremely clean and well kept, comfortable, quiet, air conditioning, quiet, bed and pillows great - AND Dannette at the front desk was AMAZINNG - very professional, friendly and great accommodating guests needs.

Our car was towed to Bakersfield in the evening and we had to stay there waiting it to be fixed next day. This place is on the safe side of the city. Clean, comfortable and safe. Breakfast reasonable.

This was our second stay at the Homewood Suites. The location is easy to find, quiet area and near shopping and restaurants as well. The ladies that set up and take care of the breakfast area do a great job. Each morning we had a variety of items to chose from. Hot and cold, fruit, yogurt, waffles, bacon, eggs, and even biscuits and gravey one morning.

The room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The beds were a bit uncomfortable and there were little bugs in on our first night, looked like swarmers in the kitchen. But the staff was mostly nice and welcoming, the housekeeping staff was very nice and amazing. The breakfast and the facilities were top notch. Overall, it was fine staying for 5 days and the price was not bad.

The facility layout is wonderful. The room had a kitchen and fridge. Wonderful!

Stay was okay due to the kitchenette. However, they are very bad at communication. I have raised a query with them multiple times as they over-charged me, and it has been 1 months and a half, still no response.

My experience was great.

I know more about the lives of total strangers than I ever wanted to know thanks to loud conversations in the hall. While my dog was walking me around the immediate surrounding area it was quiet except their air conditioning which is unavoidable. I apologize on behalf of irresponsible pet parents leaving "packages" behind. Alas, I did not have extra bags to fix their faux pas. About a dozen used mattresses were piled by dumpsters, I hope for disposal. Signs of wear & tear were evident, but relatively easily fixed. Examples: wallpaper peeling off in bathroom, areas in roll-in shower where grab bars & plumbing connect with shower wall need caulking. It may only be the accessible room I used, but the layout could be improved. The bathroom door kept slowly opening until it met the closet wall blocking access to the bed A barn door might be a solution depending code & ADA regulations. Access to the toilet would be easier if the toilet was facing the sink instead of the back closet wall. It seems interior bathrooms without a window should be required to have a vent/fan, but I guess not. I would stay again.

No carts at 8pm, no extra kleenex or paper towels. I called the front desk, the girl said we would have to walk to the front office, which is from one end of the hotel, to the other end, mind you, after making 2 extra trips to the car in 90 degree weather and haven driven all day. Many hotels we have visited in the last 20 years will go that extra mile when they are by themselves but not this hotel, or the girl is just lazy. We paid paid $200 and we can't be trusted with extra paper products in the room. SAD!!!! We will not be back. It's the little things that make customers happy. Oh, and the shower head is the worst!!

Customer service at front desk was there but it wasn’t. Meaning that lady at the front desk didn’t have much of the customer service experience we have experienced in other Hilton properties. But other them our stays was good.

I really loved the suite that I stayed in and experienced a comfortable stay. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Parking was convenient and the breakfast was delicious.

Didn’t realize that the sofa bed was zip tied until after we tried to open it. By this time it was almost midnight. Don’t understand why if I had put down reservation for 4 people. Check in was average.

Please note. They do NOT have shuttle service!!! They have a guy in a van between 8-4. Not everyday!!! First night they put me next to the mechanical room. I'm a heavy sleeper. I seriously thought someone was trying to break in a sage with a commercial saw!! It was scary and disruptive. They moved me the next day but never compensated me for my distress and sleepless night. They do not offer Hilton points! After all this chaos and disappointment I was moved to another room which was nice. I would have expected management to check in with me, didn't happen.

We checked in late and did not receive a welcome bag like we usually do. Sadly the rooms are in need of some updating. Peeling wallpaper, and very noisey AC. We did not have the room made up each day and when we stopped at the front desk for additional TP it seemed to be a problem.

Loved everything about this Stay. The suite with the kitchen and King size bed was incredibly comfortable. The free breakfast with its vast options of hot foods as well as cold foods was divine. I am planning on returning here time and time again.

I was very happy with my check in. The front desk staff were so friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The rooms were clean. Pretty standard for the suite room with a small kitchenette. No reflection on this property, but I continue to be disappointed with mattresses at Hilton properties. They are spongy / springy and don't support well. I woke up at 1:30 in the morning with a back ache and knew I wouldn't be able to get back to sleep. So with a long drive ahead of me, I packed up and left. I've had the same experience at Embassy Suites, Hampton Inns, Hilton Garden Inns and other properties. Very uncomfortable beds. Hilton Resort properties are the exception. Other than that, the stay was fine. The hotel is conveniently located to Seven Oaks Country Club where I was visiting family for the Holidays.

In the back of a buisness park and front desk told me there is high crime in the area. Cars get broken into all the time. First room we were put in had 2 bed bugs in the bed. They moved us to the top floor but I was a nervous wreck all night long. My 8 year old son was with me and the last thing I needed was for him to get bites or god forbid bring those things back home. Staff was very friendly and did their best. Wont be staying there again.
