Always a great place to stay while visiting family in town. Parking lot is always safe feeling and the hotel is always clean. Breakfast is basic, but does the job. Staff is wonderful. Our go-to hotel always.

The pool was really fun. The morning breakfast was wonderful. The parking was very easy. The location was clean, safe and central to all of Bakersfield. Thank you all, we will be back.

The staff and customer service were fantastic. I ran had car trouble while onsite and they worked with me to make the situation go as easy as possible. Some of the best staff I’ve ever come across.

I was greatly helped by one of the staff, I do not recall the name, but I think she looked like she could be cast in Downton Abbey (Mrs. Patmore). If it wasn't for her, I would have starved. She even brought me my oatmeal and helped with the pepper. Then I had coffee and my day went much better. Front desk staff was very friendly, and housekeeping was very helpful when we needed a plunger.

We enjoy this property. This was our second stay here. It is very convenient to food and groceries. The pool is great, they even added a ping pong table my son loved learning.

This was my first stay at Towneplace Suites. Pros: Comfortable, clean, spacious room, very kind and helpful staff. Great amenities very close by. I was traveling for business so it was nice to have a good desk space and comfortable chair. Cons: My only real "complaint" is that some semi trucks used the street directly behind the hotel for overnight parking and were very noisy. Obviously not the hotel's fault, but it was annoying. Overall it was a nice stay, and I would stay there again!

Breakfast was ok. We are not sure why TownePlace will only accept credit cards, but then charges $20 for the use of the credit card.

Jacuzzi was ice cold the BBQ station and fire pit was in the dark no lighting. This was for Valentine’s day and it was ruined. All restaurants were about a 2 hour wait.

Do not stay here. There's a strong odor of urine in our room and a fine layer of black grime on quite a few sirfaces. The propery is run down with dirty carpets and clear damage to the furniture, walls and floors.

Do not stay here ever, between human and animal urine on floors mattresses, a mouse. My children would not sleep on the bed’s and instead slept on the floor. Management did nothing and would not take calls. Worst hotel experience ever. Dirty disgusting smelly gross hotel.

Breakfast food didnt taste great. There was some left over hair in the bathroom. But overall clean and enjoyable.

Our room smelled like an old 70's smoking room & mold. It looked clean and the bed were nice. The carpet needed to be cleaned desperately as it turn my feet brown with dirt when I was barefoot. The staff was great, friendly and always smiling!! Thank you so much!!

We had a king room that was smaller than their usual king size, and the pullout couch butted up to the end of the bed so you couldn’t walk across the room to get to the bathroom if the couch was made into a bed. We have another trip planned at the end of the month and I’m considering looking elsewhere to stay. Disappointed for sure.

Room was smaller than expected and the layout didn’t make sense, we kept running into each other, bed was comfortable though. Breakfast was mediocre with not too many options.

This is our second time staying. The location is very convenient with many shops and restaurants nearby. Easy and quick commute to downtown. The area is safe and clean. The facility is clean and well laid out. The pool and breakfast were good. The rooms are clean and well laid out but some surfaces are showing wear. The 2 bedroom units are a plus. The staff were very friendly and professional.

Near the hotel is great selection of eating establishments. Also a Walmart and grocery market.

Was disappointed to learn on my second day that they only perform maid service every other day, which in my case meant never. Probably wouldn't have been a deal-killer, but certainly should have been disclosed prior to completing the booking process.

This hotel had everything we needed. I especially appreciated the full kitchen. The whole place felt very homey. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was the salt shaker that had course salt inside that the shaker had to grind. The salt came out too much. It would be better if they switched to standard salt shakers. Other that, our stay was perfect. I will definitely stay again.

I stayed here after hearing how centrally located it was to Shafter Cemetary & shops/restaurants in Bakerdfield. It took me no time to get to the cemetary to visit my pops on his birthday. I enjoyed the walk across the street to the big shopping center after a very long traffic filled drive from Temecula. Great spot w/ excellent and professional staff. I highly recommend!

Ac not working room 325 gets hot! Told front staff and said it was woking fine.... so i guess oh well...

First time here for a friend’s birthday party and they recommended we stay here! Loved our room and if we come back to Bakersfield in the future, we will stay here again!

Came for a family event. Let us check in early and was able to get ready in the room parking was easy and lots of room room was very clean. Well appointed staff was lovely and morning. Breakfast was pretty good. Had coffee on the patio weather was perfect

The room was really nice. The ladies at the front desk acted like you burden them when you check in. They didn’t explain anything to me, directions to room, check out time, breakfast time, wifi info, etc.

We loved the two bedroom suite with living room and kitchen, the excellent breakfast, and the price. We stayed here in July because it was within striking distance to the state parks.

Friendly staff helped with checkin. There was a problem with my TV, but front desk was able to get someone up to look at it in a timely manner. Maintenance person was friendly and helpful, and was able to fix the issue pretty quickly. Didn't realize there was a kitchen; next time I am down here, I will make sure to take advantage. Overall, an excellent stay.

Newer facility in a newer area near restaurants, gas stations and shopping. Only 1.5 hours to LA.

Staff was helpful and respectful. Nice and quiet even being close to elevator and considering there was a little league team there at the same time. Lots of shopping very close by within walking distance if necessary. Mexican restaurant next door has good food and great margaritas. Convenient.

The room was clean. I did not care for the set up of the room. Bathroom door was right next to the bed. They only gave us two towels for the three days we were there. The breakfast was not so great.

Alejandro at the front desk was very welcoming, as was all staff. We had been driving 7 hours. I was surprised to find out it was going to be $100 extra for my dog to stay here :-( i don't remember seeing it on the site. Room was very nice except I had to hunt down a hairdryer.

Everything was nice except for the fire alarm going off at 8am. Also the mattress did not have a cover or pad on it, just the fitted sheet. I would think you would have them with a zipped cover to avert bed bugs.

I went into the first room they gave me, and it hadn’t been cleaned. I requested another room, and the TV and light switches in that room didn’t work. The third room they gave me was okay, but it was not thoroughly cleaned.

This property is best suited for someone staying longer than one night. That said it was good just not a good value.

The room was perfect. The location was on par, and she even carried my laundry up to my hotel room as I use a cane. Christina deserves a raise and she has made our trip a trip to remember and now we are looking into booking more townplace suites on our vacations.

Stayed with wife and 3 kids. Good setup for traveling familys. Well-appointed rooms.. good breakfast and pleasant staff. We left Mr. Panda behind but cleaning staff found him, cleaned and fluffed him.. our little man was ecstatic!!. we picked him up on our way back thru Bakersfield. It is what separates one place from the others.. Many thanks to Neysa and cleaning staff for the personal service. I hope you folks are recognized for this effort.

The Hotel room is in need of fresh paint and some updating. The room had 3 TV's that made the kiddos happy.The front desk staff was super nice and friendly. There is a freezer with pizza and TV dinners and yummy ice cream.

The property is not that bad overall. But the garbage bin inside the room is really way to small for a family. I have to give a negative over rating just because of that.

The first room offered smelled like pet urine. We asked for a different room. That room had a tampon applicator and key between the mattress and box spring.

It was a nice stay. I was surprised at how little the room was but it was very efficient and had all the comforts of home. It had a full size refrig and a top counter stove and everything you need to stay for awhile. Very clean and the desk staff was very efficient and friendly.

We’ve stayed at this hotel several times before usually on a Friday. My wife and I have enjoyed our stays every stay. Your front desk staff are always wonderful and helpful. Cleaning staff also.

Couldn’t offer another room couldn’t do anything no discount

It was so smaller then a typical room with a king size bed. The closest was in the bathroom. Burnt out bulbs, light fixtures that didn’t even work not to mention there was a kitchenette in the small entrance. A weird closet behind the entrance door that somehow attached to the closet in the bathroom??? Also the bed was so close to the bathroom door, that it hit the bed and you had to open it so you couldn’t get to the dresser and light in that side of the bed??? A bathroom that could only accommodate 1 person at a time…

Staff was very friendly and inviting. Facilities were clean and nice. Rooms were big and had nice amenities. Only big issue was their hot tub was broken and not hot. We specifically booked this hotel over many others for the hot tub. Super disappointed about that part.

Loved my suite! It had a whole kitchenette, desk, and a walk-in laundry closet. It’s almost like a studio apartment. No complaints at all, was a great stay while visiting family for the holidays.

Why don't they disclose that they charge you for parking? I do not know. Be prepared to pay $10 for parking per night.

They ran out of towels they didn’t clean the room the second day what’s that all about pay 200 bucks a night you should get your room clean the second day and you should have towels.

I always recommend this stay to all my family and friends who come to visit Bakersfield.

The Manager Trenice was so friendly and welcoming! Room was very clean and loved the tv in the room. I liked that breakfast was included and there are plenty of snacks you can purchase for a late night craving!

Room reeked of cigarette smoke. Had to light candles which did not even help. Nice layout though and spacious.
