    The staff are wonderful. They have families in some program staying here so it’s noise all the time. A lot of running back and forth. A lot of trash. House keeping is once a week.

    CONS: -the photos are very misleading. - windows are super old and you can hear everything single car passing by and this hotel is right at the busy road -The property is dirty, old and not maintained. -The carpets are very dirty and stinky. -The bathroom smelled like WEED since it has general shared ventilation. - AC was disfunctional - Toilet didn’t flush! - advertising said free continental breakfast but at 7 am they had half empty containers of drip coffee and a few paper cups and sugar. - cafeteria is nothing like on the pictures. It is a filthy trashed room with dirty chairs. - at 7 am there were a group of people play LOUD rap music with buffers and large speakers in the dining area. The music was so dirty, indecent and filled with profanity that I took my children and left. -another guy who clearly had mental issues and seemed to be drunk was trying to talk to me and my child. - this place is NOT safe and management had no problems with that whole thing.

    Parking is easy, the staff is wonderful, the rooms are old and need to be updated. Room cleaning is about 2 times a week. They have a program where they house families and the halls are dirty, the people are loud, someone is always fussing, the microwave is nasty even after it’s cleaned. Someone is always running either on my floor there floor above. Before the people in the program came I rarely heard a noise and it was always clean. I never had breakfast and was told breakfast was for the people in the program. It’s been a mess but I have nowhere else to go and only there because my house caught on fire.

    Parking is easy. The WiFi is ok. The staff is amazing. All rooms are cleaned on a schedule and not everyday. Breakfast is not good but you’re better off ordering out. There is no ironing board in each room. They have mouse traps under the beds and around the hotel and yes I saw a mouse in my room. Once it ran out I put something against the doors to keep it from coming in. I guess for the price you get what you get. I guess I’m just paying for the room itself and not the amenities. This hotel has connections to programs so at times you’ll see a lot of people coming and going. They have events mostly on the weekends but it doesn’t bother may stay as I don’t hear any noises.

    It took 4 trips back down to the service desk for a key card that would work. The free breakfast was Twinkies and Coffee, no joke. The place is scary. They house different people from different countries.

    Do not stay here. We were in the room for 10 minutes and saw a bed bug. Immediately we left and the front desk attendant refused to give us a refund, saying that she knows there are no bed bugs there (we literally saw one).

    The 6th floor reeked of stale ash trays, and my “nonsmoking” room still smelled and had cigarette burns in the headboard. No stopper in the sink. The crappy coffeemaker wouldn’t turn on but leaked water. The replacement managed only 1/2 cup and would not empty the reservoir. When I asked where the “included” breakfast was served I was ushered to a table with a thermos of warm coffee and Hostess snack cakes. The main light switch was gross - as if too many dirty fingers had used it. Other than that, check in was easy, the bed and bathroom were clean, and I got a good night’s sleep.

    I don’t like the fact that you don’t wanna clean the room and that they can’t have their dog walking all through the property and stuff and everybody else can have their dog, but I can’t have mine maybe pay a pet deposit and then told me I couldn’t stay here anymore They don’t clean the rooms don’t want to gave toilet paper and talk to u any kind of way

    The staff is really nice although this hotel charge a $100 deposit for damages plus the room rate. The hotel already has damages. In thiss king room the bed is high on one side low on the other, very uncomfortable. The arm on the sofa is broken, the lights partially work. It is convenient for those who need someplace warm, but im sure they lost business because of the deposit because i will not be returning.

    This was a pleasant and clean place to stay especially if you are a smoker or have pets. I think it’s very family friendly and has a place to host a small party or meeting. The breakfast was more like morning refreshments that only provided cakes and coffee but still was greatly appreciated. They have a small fridge in the room but no microwave, however there is access to one in the lobby. The staff were professional and polite. At the price and location it exceeded my expectations. Also I was thrilled at the variety of restaurants in the area. They provide menus and I highly recommend ROMA LITTLE ITALY 4104836630 the honey lemon pepper wings and fries were amazing!!!

    The main reason I gave it a poor rating is because we expected a free breakfast. There only things provided was bitter sludge for coffee and one small package of three stale mini doughnuts. We had to go to McDonalds for breakfast which added cost and a delay to our trip.

    The front desk lady almost wouldn't let me check in even though I gave her the confirmation number. For some reason the name was booked under g money ginger. G money is my user name. When I gave her my ID that says Ginger Bond she said I didn't have a reservation... even with the conformation number I gave! She wouldn't even look at my phone i was trying to show her the name it was booked under. She was so rude and unprofessional I had to step outside to calm down. My husband remained inside insisting something be resolved. He said she was just as disrespectful to him but would not let it go until she looked at my phone. If it wasn't for him I would have never been able to check in and lost all the $ i paid. Completely unacceptable!

    Absolutely NOTHING! When I arrived, there were two children seated at the front desk and I had to wait 5-10 minutes before the actual clerk showed up. I was given a room key, but when I arrived to the room there was another guest already inside the room. After returning downstairs to inform the dear clerk, she looked puzzled and confused. I was given another room for the night. The room was had an odor, which smelled like and old wet mop. The air vent in the bathroom looked like it was never cleaned. The wallpaper inside the bathroom and near the bed was peeling off. The electrical sockets were pushed in and was a safety concern. The vending machine in the hallway was half empty and took my $3 due to a malfunction. A 16 oz Coke soda was $4 , which is RIDICULOUS! I will NEVER stay at this location again and highly recommend people to look for an alternative stay and skip pass this location.

    My husband and I enjoyed the stay we originally booked for the weekend, but decided to book another day earlier, and it was taken care of with no problems. The only issue was the first room I had the water did not shut off, so we had to be moved to a different room, even though we liked the first room better. However, the 2nd room was not bad, and they made it happen within the hour. We will go there again. The very first time this hotel was under different management, and we did not care for the hotel. Now they are under new management, and we like what we see. The staff was good, especially Nancy, who made it a smooth transition. Thank you all.

    I had a relatively lovely stay at Americans Best Value Inn. However, my issue is that the breakfast served was not really breakfast at all; Hostess cupcakes with coffee hardly passes for breakfast. That is why I rated my overall stay 3-Stars. Comfort Inn located downtown served a better breakfast. I stayed at that hotel twice. Do better, Americans Best Value Inn in the breakfast department.

    Check in was great! They offer smoking rooms that are clean and spacious. Most smoking rooms are sub-par, but this room was cozy and had a great ventilation system. A/C was COLD which is a plus on a humid summer night. The bathroom was very clean as well. The staff was welcoming.

    When I booked this hotel your site said it was less then 5 miles from where my show was wrong it was a fifteen minute drive when I booked this place you said on your site you will pay $120.00 no more wrong they charge $100 for breakage no matter how long you stay so I needed $220 up front I really hate it when people lie to me

    i'll say at least the room was clean. the lights and ac worked. a gold star for providing basic hotel functions. howevr some fairly rudementary expectations were ignored or forgotten.     The check in process was quick and the person was friendly. The elevator had a weird unpleasant smell. The room was okay, but the curtains would not close all the way. We had to use the hangers to keep the light out. Lastly the continental breakfast was missing.

    I would never stay in this place, it clearly stated that it has breakfast all they have is a small table at the lobby entrance with a pot of coffee and a small container with 3-4 mini muffins, they should remove the advertising of free breakfast because is misleading and is against the law.     Booked a last minute one night stay, I usually stay around the Inner Harbor for this price therefore assumed Americas Best Value Inn would be decent option. Almost everything about this location seems that came out a late 80's magazine. Shower was difficult to operate, TV remote did not work, A/C unit did not work on Auto mode, etc. To top it off "breakfast" is nothing but coffee and premade/bagged mini muffins placed on top of a folding table along the main lobby.

    I understand charging for late checkout as it can put extra work on the staff, but charging $20 for early check-in for an hour or two if the room is available is just a cash-grab. Pretty scary location. Saw someone replacing their radiator in the parking lot. I do not recommend this property at all, except in the most extreme circumstances. My room was clean though.

    This was a good hotel for a reasonably priced stay. I would describe it as no frills. The place was reasonably clean and the cleaning lady was very nice. The front desk staff were not very friendly. Advertized continental breakfast that consisted of coffee because they ran out of whatever muffin went with it.

    This is a run down place. Sad if you come out of jail need a place to stay. Smells blankets stain. If you give me a million dollars I will not take it. This building should be condemned. Homeless people will not stay here. Please run away. When I saw the room I cancelled. Owner does not take pride of his business. If you stay here reading this review then you deserve to be there.

    This place was beyond dirty. This place has not been cleaned thoroughly in years. Things are falling apart. The key cards do not work and had to have the worker come let us into our room. The 3 other rooms next to us were all having a huge party and were incredibly loud and when asked to switch rooms, we weren’t able to. And the main reason we booked this hotel was due to being told there was continental break and all they put out were a few twinkies. This whole stay was incredible frustrating for my family.

    In hallways smells like old smoke. Found an unopened condom in the bed, hair dryer was dirty with hair all on it. Stuffy smell in the rooms. Blankets had burn holes in them.

    The staff is friendly and nice. You get what you pay for though- There is no continental breakfast, it’s coffee and packaged snack cakes. The facility is dated; mismatched furniture and the bed was sunken in the middle.

    The WiFi didn’t work for me. It smelt like people smoking weed and I was in a non smoking room. People were noisy leaving well into the night. The breakfast was ywinkies and sing songs with coffee, for $117 there should have been a better breakfast

    To start, we had an issue with the names on the room reservation. I made a call to the front desk on the way to the hotel. We simply wanted them to be aware of the fact that one room was assigned to an individual who could not be at check in and we were going to check in with another individuals name. I was greeted with an attitude that did not convey welcome, and a complete unwillingness to do the most simple of things. Keep in mind, we were staying here for about 5 hours tops. We had just finished a performance in Philadelphia and had a very early performance in Baltimore. They forced me to go through the arduous task of speaking to Hotels.com to get the name changed. The rooms were dirty which hid the fact that they needed a major remodeling. The water was a consistent color of yellow to rust. Our recomendation to you is if you have a choice between America's Best Value Inn Baltimore and staying in your car; choose your car.

    One night stay over after a ballgame with my kid. Place was horribly outdated and in disrepair. Furniture looked like purchased from yard sales nothing matched. Smoke free room yet had an ash tray and burn marks everywhere. Did not even supply room with towels to be able to shower

    Breakfast was from 5:30 to 9:30 we get down 9:20 and room is already closed up on both days. The rooms are in major need of upgrading. Time to invest in new bedding and linens. Very disappointed! Worst we have ever stsyed in

    I was searching (from PA) for a hotel in MD near Druid Hill Park (or close enough to walk, so I could spread some of his ashes-very small amount in/near Zen Park in Druid Hills Park) I chose America's Best Value Inn based on HOTELS.COM's listing as 3.09 miles from the park. After checking in, going to my room, having another hysterical crying session, I started getting ready to leave for the Park. Thats when i pulled up maps and noticed in was 8.09 miles away..As a result of WEBSITES error, I was not able to go to the Park and got no assistance in a refund or compensation. The whole memorial I planned was completely ruined and as i am a single woman on a fixed income, there wasnt money to go somewhere else. Was so completely devasted I just stayed in my room and cried. Also site listed microwave availableupon request. Wrong-microwave is dirty old microwave in corner of lobby. No coffee available, nothing nearby to walk , as I have MS I limit my night driving. Just completely aweful experience.

    Nasty. The keys wouldn’t work, had to go to front desk 3x before he came up his self. We got in the room and immediately went back to ask for a refund. They “don’t refund” so we left. Just did not feel comfortable sleeping in the hotel itself.

    It was a ok stay, the room was ok, nice relaxing bed. Wish the room had a microwave and more outlets. It's not worth a $100 incidental fee especially if you're not a smoker, the hotel definitely needs a upgrade

    Never in my LIFETIME have I ever experienced such a horrible ‘hotel’. Americas ‘best’ value inn has to be the worst hotel in the country and I wish I could go back in time to go to a days inn or even a motel. The bathrooms looked like a warzone and the cleaners did nothing except for this one kind lady. We booked nonsmoking rooms. But they gave us the 4th floor which was definitely the smoking floor, the smoke was too much, we definitely got second hand smoke from that. The beds are so hard with cigarette buds in them our back was killing us the whole time. Also, they said there’s a microwave but there wasn’t any and you have to call the front desk for an iron because apparently “people steal the irons”. Also the free breakfast isn’t even considered breakfast weird coffee and donuts. Please let this be a warning, any other hotel option would be a heaven compared to this.

    Definitely unsanitary. Hallways smelled like marijuana and feces. Air conditioner in room had puddle of stagnant water on top of it. Stains on chairs. We were given a “non-smoking” room but found an ash tray in the room. We checked in and checked out right away. We booked a stay at a different hotel that night for the safety and sanitation for ourselves and children we had traveled with. Stay away from this place.

    Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, the hallways and lobby area all clean. Quiet and peaceful. Housekeepers are friendly and very nice. It's been a great experience. Only thing missing is a pool.

    There were some strange characters hanging the front entrance of the Hotel. Liquor bottles sitting in front by the park cars. The security was some old overweight old guy. The bathrooms in the lobby were dirty and soap dispensers were broken, hand dryers as well. No paper towels to dry hands with.
