Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Baltimore North, MD

We waited almost 15 mins at the front desk for an employee to check us in when we arrived. This property is run down and not well maintained. The rooms we stayed in were missing a shower curtain, hair dyer and few other essentials. And while I know it is legal, guests were smoking marijuana out in the open and very near the entrance.we were staying for 2 nights and when we arrived back to the room on our second night, our keys did not work, had to go back down to the desk to get them reprogrammed Overall would not recommend this hotel.

The location. It is close to many grocery stores and eating places. It is very close to the highways I-695 and I-95 Needs updating. More importantly hallway carpets appear dirty - they are stained. Couches are stained very badly. Floors are scratched and appear dirty.

Parking was easy- AC worked fine-its near MEDSTAR Health hospital and several restaurants- has a small indoor gym and a indoor pool— wasn't noisy- they did had to re-clean the bathroom when i checked in

I’m shocked this can continue using the Country Inn name, it felt like a seedy back ally hotel. The lady at the front desk was about as rude as you can be, she was unfriendly, unhelpful and didn’t offer any solutions whatsoever. The room was gross, obviously not vacuumed as there was dust and coins lying about, the furniture was from the 80’s, smashed and stained into oblivion. Moldy drips caked onto the bathroom walls. The microwave had a centimeter of old red food encrusted inside. The neighboring tenants were so loud no one could sleep, they blasted music until 4:30AM and I could hear people upstairs stomping around, showering, flushing their toilet all through the night. Myself and our young kids couldn’t get ANY sleep at all. We went to use the pool at 8P but the water was so cloudy and bubbly I wouldn’t let my children in the water. The hot tub was ice cold and some other children were using that as a kiddie pool. I would never stay in a Country Inn or anything with the Radison name again if this is their standard. Please save yourself the trouble and don’t book here!!!!

Our receptionist was very accommodating. I think her name was T we got in about. Seven 8 o’clock in the evening.

The people at the front desk were nice The room was dirty, hairs in the bed, hairs on the floor of the bathroom. The bathroom was very outdated and a slow drain. The bedding and towel were dingy with stains and wrinkled. There is not even an exhaust fan for the bathroom. There is no vending machine only a "pantry". The breakfast was not good eggs are very runny, bagel was stale coffee was nasty. It smelled like weed in multiple areas inside the hotel. I wish I would have looked at the reviews before booking. I was so uncomfortable with my room I figured at least I didn't have bed bugs so I'd rather not complain because then I might get a worse room.

Would not recommend staying here. We were in town for a funeral and in our first room there was blood on the curtain and all over the ceiling. We then notified the front desk person (he was very nice and understanding) and he moved us to another room. In the next room there was blood all over the towels, on the chair and on the pillows. We then again went to the front desk and asked to be shown other rooms to see if they were in the same condition. We viewed 3 other rooms and blood in every single room. Safe to say we left around 10pm and moved to another hotel. This place is not clean and would not recommend but front desk staff was excellent and understood!

The staff was helpful but I informed management that housekeeping wasn’t doing their job. The rooms were half clean and the towels and washcloths need to have an expiration date because they were dingy and It had streak marks. I brought my own towels and washcloth. The free breakfast was OK if you wanted something to get you by. It was better than the other hotel, considering I left the other spot because they had roaches.

Wgen i made thr reaervation I called the hotel and they assured me the pool would be in operation during my stay. Upon arrival with two children that we eager to swim, the staff informed me that the pool was not yet open for the season. We were very disappointed and had to quicly find another alternative with a working pool.

Our room was terrible. Walking in it, with two children, it stunk like marijuana. The shower curtain had mold all over it. There were chunks of beard clippings around the bathroom faucet. And a tissue shoved into the sprinkler on the ceiling!

This is the second time we've stayed at this property and both times we've had to have our room switched. The first time, someone was obviously smoking in the room. The windows were open and there were ashes in the window sill. We assumed it was the cleaning staff but the room stank and we didn't want to be blamed. They moved us to a new room. We needed to leave for dinner and didn't look closely around until we returned. This room still had a dirty wash rag in the shower, but at this point it was late so we just didn't touch it when we showered. We decided to give them a second chance as they are very convenient to my daughter's house, but no good. The first room was extremely hot and the thermostat was broken. Again they moved us. But again we left right away. When we returned we noticed there's was no remote for the TV. Then as we opened drawers to look for one, we found a dirty pair of boxer shorts left behind. Again it was late. They gave us a remote and of course we didn't touch the night stand. At this point we're requesting the cost of room be refunded. We will no longer go there again. They've run out of chances

Had just stayed the night before at a Country Inn property in State College PA and couldnt believe the difference in the 2 properties. Was expecting to love this one like we did the one in PA, but we were sorely disappointed. Even though they are supposed to be equivalent, the best way I can desribe it is that the MD one is just not as nice. Cleanliness, room accoutrements, etc. Were just not what we expected after staying at the exact same place in a different city.....

The available hot water. The horrible customer service, the pool was closed which I wasn’t aware of until after paying, I had to request a new room multiple times, the towels were stained and the incredibly strong marijuana smell.

This hotel is poorly ran. The employees are friendly enough but with the negative news they deliver who would blame them if they hated their jobs. The pool and hot tub are not working. When you say anything they say well you can go somewhere else. The sheets and towels are all stained. The breakfast is absolutely horrendous. This place needs to have a change of management and get the necessary upgrades.

The staff was very nice and helpful. However, the towels and sheets were dirty or dingy. My sheets were dirty. The pillow cases had pills from wear. They definitely need to replace the sheets and towels due to wear and tear. Breakfast was good!

Appointments at Johns Hopkins ended early and my husband who has leukemia was very tired and wanted to rest. We we charged an early check-in fee and because the room we had reserved was not availble they had to give us a room with two queen beds instead of a King. We were also charged for the "upgrade". It came to over $200 per night fpr a filthy room in disrepair.The floor had not been vacuumed and sheets were stained. The flooring had chunks missing and the had some sort of carpeted baseboard that was saturated in dirt. The furniture has chips and missing pull handles. We slept on top of the blanlets. After two days filled with appointments we did 't have the energy to find another hotel. We did you the shopper a favor by staying and advising you not to stay here.

Staff at nighttime was extremely rude. No clear advertisement of pool being closed. Room next door to us played extremely loud music until 2am when we called and complained and they finally called the police. Worst stay we have ever had at a hotel.

Nobody was at the front desk when we got there. Had to wait. Room was freezing cold. heat was not working. Had to switch room 3 times. Food was on the wall and floor not swept.

When checking in was told the pool was not working. I indicated the pool was why I selected this hotel since I had our grandkids with us. Was told that is not her problem and take that up with Expedia:( our room was less than that of what I had expected. Needed 2 light bulbs for the lamps. When I asked for them at the front desk, because the phone in the room didn’t work, the receptionist was very rude and said she got my request hours ago. The ceiling in the room was patched up, patches on the screens, bathroom floor was never swept, loose dirt in the bathtub, door handle cover falling off. I asked for a couple extra towels and was handed folded dirty towels by the cleaning lady! Immediately gave them back & showed her the dirt spots. When I stripped the bedding on the underside of the comforter at the bottom of the bed were some nasty brown stains. I was taught at Hospitality Hotels, anything with stains are to be tossed and not reused. The mattress pad was on the bed upside down. Paying a little over $400.00 for a weekend stay the cleanliness was less than expected as well as the attitude of the check in host.

An indoor pool that was closed for seasonal maintenance? That was part of the reason I booked this location. And was there on a day during the week it was advertised open. Was surprised by the additional $100 incidental deposit that I had to dig through the fine print to find, and seven days later have not received back. Front desk lady was professional but bordered on argumentative.

The hot tub and pool weren't open. Room was cold! Had the heat turned up to 90, never got above 65. The money I paid for room should not have to use my own blankets to stay warm. They did bring a space heater to warm up, not save practice for a hotel. Found out we didn't have the only cold room, friends had a cold room too.Breakfast was terrible, the scrambled eggs were floating in water. Not much of a selection.

It wasn’t great at all. No alternative meat products to pork. Room had old dirty broken furniture. Bed was subpar. This was not the Radisson I knew growing up. This was trash. Eggs watery. Served spam ham. Eww

I wish I could get ever dime I spent there back. Furniture was old and dirty. This is not what the Radisson brand used to represent. Choice hotels was a horrible choice in buying this brand. It’s a run down hotel using a once known upscale brand name.

The overall property was Decent . I definitely expected more from Radisson but I guess because that was Baltimore Maryland you wouldn’t see a 5 star hotel but you guys definitely aren’t representing RADISSON HOTEL , you should change the name to comfort inn or something.

Nice clean room

The furniture is a little warn. The pillow cases looked stained and had lingering perfume sent. I must say that the front desk staff was very friendly and professional.

Not in a ver good area. Run down. Every inch of the room needed love. Pillows were awful. Tub was disgusting. Hot tub wasn't working. Dirty towels. On the bright side, the tv and air conditioner worked well, it was pretty quiet and we were so exhausted we slept well. Sorry, can't recommend the breakfast either. Won't be back.

2. The bathroom was filthy. It looked like it had not even been cleaned. There was toothpaste in the sink and on the faucet and mirror. There was some sticky dirty material that was above the sink and below the mirror. The bathroom floor looked like someone had walked muddy prints and dirt on it. The bath mat had mold on it underneath it as well as the shower liner had mold on it. The towels were never fully stocked and we had to ask for some . There were no extra blankets for bed. There were food particles on the desk and dresser areas. The floor was also dirty. Common dining area smelled like urine and marijuana!

It smelled like smoke in the rooms and hallway although they are very strict about smoking on premises. The suite we reserved was not up to par with previous guests food in the refrigerator. We were provided a second suite which was not any better. The towels as well as the pillow cases had makeup stains. We requested new sheets and towels and they were stained as well. The comforter filling was coming out and it was ripped. There was an alarm or beeping sound coming from behind the vent from early morning until we left. We alerted the front desk about it. The room was very outdated and dressers broken. No iron in the room. Nothing like the pictures on the website. Total catfish!!!!

I sent a cancellation message per Expedia's instructions and never got a reply in the app or via email like it said i would. I was charged for yhe stayed i needed to cancel.

The building is very old, smelly and looks very dirty. When we check the room, the carpet was not even vacuumed, and all carpet everywhere was very dirty.

I was terribly disappointed with the state of this hotel. The room was dirty the sheets had blood and urine stains on them. Even the new sheets I ordered from the front desk had blood and urine on them. Also the pillows were very dirty. The towels were bare thread and very old. I took pictures of the state of the room so that I would have proof of what I was expected to stay in. It's not that your rooms are cheaply priced either. I also changed rooms upon arriving from the 4th floor to the 2nd floor. Neither room was in good condition. I want to make note of this of how your guests are treated! Very bad for the Radisson brand. I have checked out today and hope you take note of this. I also got a bug bite and my foot swelled up! Hope I didn't get any diseases. 9/6/25

It wasn’t that clean the pullout couch in the room had brown spots on the bottom and the springs were coming through and it was extremely uncomfortable. The breakfast was very lacking and was not great quality. The hotel had some repairs that we’re just kind of not done very well.

The lady at the front desk was great; however, housekeeping staff was less than friendly! Upon check-in, we found we had no washcloths. When we called Housekeeping, the person who answered was very curt. The washcloths that were provided were dingy, stained and one was ragged. When we informed the front desk, we were given replacements that were also dingy and less than clean. Later on our last day, the people above us had children who we could hear constantly running and jumping and slamming furniture. We contacted the front desk twice. It would quiet down when the front desk agent went up to investigate and then the noise would resume even louder than before! We finally just checked out early and travelled home at 8:30 pm. Horrible hotel Stay!

My stay was amazing! The staff was friendly. The overall place was great everything clean and ready for guest. We had i believe 5 rooms and everyone was satisfied. My family will definitely be back!!

The housekeeping team was equally thoughtful and flexible. They worked around our schedule and provided extra toiletries without us having to ask. Breakfast was not great, with hot options and cold. A staff member brewed a fresh pot of coffee when she saw guests waiting. The pool open. While the hot tub remains closed with no signs of repair soon. But only reason for removing one star is due to the behavior of the older female Indian manager on site. She was unusually strict about towels. When we asked for more, she insisted we return the used ones first, which felt unsanitary and unnecessary. Her tone was dismissive and made for an awkward interaction. She also repeatedly asked us to leave a Google review, which felt inappropriate for a manager. Aside from that, the stay was kinda pleasant and we would return.

First of all the cleaning staff had their child with them while working. Then our brand new laptop went missing from the room. I called and asked if someone turned it in and they said they would check. They told me they would call me back. No return call. I will not stay here again.

Hotel room was nice but very hot being that ac was turned off in room but around hotel was hot too. Even had other guests saying that while in elevator to us. Other issue I have is pool closes at 8. I feel like staying at hotel usually means going to take a dip before bed. Any other hotel I’ve been to doesn’t close their pool until 10 or 11. Hotel is very much overpriced for what you get.

The bathroom mirror was not clened properly but what more more disturbing was profanity written on the bathroom mirror which we saw with the humidity, which was incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional. The room also reeked of cigarette smoke despite it being a non-smoking room, and there was a persistent smell of marijuana throughout my stay. The odor was so strong it caused my 17 year old daughter to be coughing and a headache, making it hard to relax or sleep comfortably. This stay fell far below expectations in terms of cleanliness and comfort. I'm requesting to be refunded for this experience which was far below standard due to all the issues mentioned above. Given the condition of the room and the overall environment. I do not believe the stay reflected the quality or standard promised when booking. I am requesting a full refund for this deeply unpleasant experience. I'm trying to submit photos but was unable to add to your platform.

The facility is very outdated, the room was clean but this place needs a upgrade one of the beds had a steal sharp edge piece that was sticking up from the floor a serious hazard. Towels and linen were not even white they were a dingy color. I expected more from the Radisson I will not be going back. Bed was ok. Pillows spungy, AC worked good. Breakfast, so so, no milk, no OJ, minimal selection of breakfast items, coffee was hot, hot water for tea, check in was a wait. And 4:00 pm check in, that's mighty late!!! But still check out is 11 am. Wow

Very convenient, excellent and accommodating staff.

The stay was fair. No daily service. If towels were needed or toilet paper we had to swap and ask for these daily. The tub drain took forever to drain and the faucet was difficult to operate. Absolutely nothing special to mention. Hot water at sink was fair at best.

I stayed in a 1 bedroom with my 2 children. It was WONDERFUL‼️ The room was huge as well as the bathroom. The bottom dresser was not able To go all the way in so I had to be cautious with my 2 year old son running around. Besides that, the breakfast wasn’t too great, but also not horrible to be free. I think it’s best to go either as soon as they start serving or an hour after at least. The front desk might staff was wonderful from the time we checked in until the night before we checked out. The couch in my room wasn’t as clean as it should be with the color being orange, but overall the stay was great.

Our stay was awful from the second we arrived. Room wasn’t ready and was told it wouldn’t be until 4 unless we wanted to upgrade. Even though on the wall there is a sign saying check in is at 3. There was a sign stating the hot tub was closed. When we asked the staff why it wasn’t listed on the site they said we had to take it up with Expedia. We chose this hotel for the hot tub and breakfast. The pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The entire hotel smells of weed so bad that it was coming through to our room. The room was filthy. Sheets and towels were stained. Pillows were flat at pancakes. So bad that we had to go to target to buy new ones. Needless to say our experience was horrible is an understatement. Also breakfast was horrible also. There was a pan with sausage in it with about four inches of grease and dry scrambled eggs. We decided to leave and go to a diner down the road. Very disappointed

Room was basically clean, but stains all over the carpet, towels were ripped and stained. Staff was nowhere to be found when I went to get replacement towels. Breakfast wasn’t to appealing. Very wet eggs and steamed sausage. Garbage was overflowing at breakfast bar. Have stayed here before, it was much cleaner and staff more attentive. To bad good chance won’t stay here again because the location is good.

Our hallway smelled like marijuana. Just didn't have a good feel about it. I wouldn't stay there again. No single thing, just didn't have a clean feel about it.

Our room had food on the pillow cases and dirty tissues on the sink in the bathroom. I immediately reported to management who argued with me that the room had been cleaned.

If you like your room very cold then it’s perfect for you. No matter what the temperature was set on, it was freezing. Very noisy, I was on the second level and I could hear the noise from the third floor very clearly, so bring earplugs. Only decaf coffee available in the rooms. Not enough blankets on the bed and no extra blankets available. Bed was ok. Room was clean.

The room was stated thatbas a suite it would have a large tub in the room. Even the confirmation picture shows a large corner tub next to the bed. The room did not have that at all, it had a basic tub and shower combo like any other room. This was dissappointing, thentub was the only reason i booked the more expensive suite.

It was passably clean but we had to switch one of our rooms because the shower curtain was falling out of the wall. Very poor service. The breakfast food does not taste good. There are very minimal options, and it isn’t the freshest. The spirit airlines of hotels.

The heater didn't work correctly. No packs of coffee in the room. No new coffee cups were brought in for our second day. No soap in the container in the shower. Couldn't get desired channels on TV that my son was able eto get in his room

You can always find parking spot even your get there in the mid night . Parking lot feels very safe , Felt very safe parking my construction truck there with tools inside overnight

Upon arrival we learned both the pool and hot tub were closed, defeating the purpose of bringing our kids to this specific hotel. Luggage carts haven't been updated since the early 90s based on look and difficult steering. At breakfast the eggs looked very spongy, like they had been reheated multiple times. There was no regular coffee available either, and if there has been, they were out of lids, negating taking a cup for the road... but they were out so no worries there I guess. Overall disappointing.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very amiable.

The room size was ok. However, the washroom was not having enough hot water. No exhaust working in the washroom. Dirty clothings, bedsheets and towels. Iron table dirty & wet, spiders on the floor and on the bed. Heat not working properly. No milk available in the breakfast time. Gross oat milk pudding. Very bad breakfast arrangements. It is the worst accommodation for me ever. I would not recommend this hotel for accommodation.

It is a nice place to lay your head, but the breakfast needs improvement.

It was very disturbing knowing the service was limited due to short staff. I felt uncomfortable in the soil sheet bed, using the shower and then having bugs come out of my food this morning

I asked for a non smoking room and the room they gave me smelled like cigarettes. I complained to the front desk that it smelled like smoke and cigarettes and he just said, ok. Did not come and change the sheets or smell the room. I’m allergic to smoke so my night was horrible.

I spoiled myself with a hot tub suite....hot tub worked, bed was comfortable.

The place is very comfortable. Nothing to complain.

Area was safe, parking was easy. Breakfast was lacking, one day they didn't even have butter. The Indoor Pool/Hot tub was closed for seasonal maintenence, which honestly disappointed me because that was a selling point for me. I was also placed on the family floor (as a single person), so the hall smelled like dirty diapers. The room was clean, but not like the one advertised in my booking. There was no large tub in my room, and the ones like it were sold out. So no hot tub, no pool, nowhere to relax so I feel like I overpaid for this hotel to be honest. Since there were cheaper options for the same and/or better amenities, all things considered.

We had a jetted-spa in our room and it was so wonderful and relaxing. I certainly recommend this hotel. Staff was very helpful on the phone and in person. The free breakfast was nice and the food was good. The room was a little cool at first, but it warmed up after a while. This is a nice hotel!

Nothing is good with this hotel. It smell like smoke. We found long hair the inside the scramble eggs. The room smell like someone just finished smoking.

I will never stay at the property ever in life. Everything in the hotel room was disgusting. The couches had stains and holes in it. The floor was sticky and dirty. Everything was disgusting.

Paid extra to stay at this hotel for the pool and hot tub. Both are closed and was not stated beforehand. Could have saved money if told earlier.

When called to find out if they has a hot tub was told yes but when we got to the hotel it had been closed for a month now. Also had a very rude person at the desk. Other wise room was clean hotel was clean and breakfast was ok.

Beside the pool being down. The stay was good. Did ask for extra towels and didn't get them but beside that all good.
