Motel 6 Baytown, TX - Baytown East

The property could use a facelift but the rooms were not that bad. I will stay here again if I visit Baytown again.

Washing clothes not possible at 3 locations in Baytown area. Sink wouldn’t drain. Bathroom door wouldn’t shut. Roaches… I could go on

People need to learn how to park next to their own rooms. Not by the pool.

It was very clean room and towels sheets even smelt good! Staff were all friendly and helpful. Comfortable! And reasonable rate. Ice cold air. Dog seemed to get comfortable as well. Will look them up if returning to area!

The room was clean. The staff was nice. We did not get to use the Wi-Fi. It was not working. It would’ve been nice if they had a refrigerator in microwave in the room but a positive thing is that the housekeeping stopped by every day to replenish towels and soap.

The morning clerk was rude nd wifi and cable service was bad. Cable went out in the middle of the day and was off until check out.

I will never stay there again. The laundry facilities did not work. There’s no refrigerator or microwave not even in the office that you can use. The ice machine ice gave me a sore throat. The sheets were dirty with cigarette burns in it and they only give you a sliver of soap.

Then the last night sitting on the toilet, water from the room above us started pouring down on top of me. Ask for a discount or refund for the days we had no hot water and they said no. They would give us a 10% discount on our next stay. We will never stay here ever again!! Go someplace else!! It’s a dump

Checked in. Went to room, got headache from bleach instantly. Looked for dead bodies. Found a disgusting room with broken crap and bugs. Turned around, went to front desk. Checked out. Demanded my money back. Went to a much better hotel right down there road. Zero Stars.

Went for a weekend get. Room was clean and smelled good was surprised being it's an older motel. Was quiet at, except for the first night around 3am the trash truck at the store next door was making it's rounds. Not the motels fault. No complaints with our stay here. Will definitely use this motel is in the area again

Very courteous and helpful front desk clerk. Our room was spacious and kept clean and fresh with the lady in housekeeping. I talked to her several times going in and out and she was so nice! I will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Baytown. Highly recommend

Check in desk-clerk wasn't very customer friendly--seemed annoyed we were taking up her time. The room was okay, although there was a huge dirt spot on the wall we had to clean, the room smelled like stale cigarette smoke (we had a non-smoking room although there were cigarette butts on the sidewalk outside) and there were cigarette burn holes on the bedspread. The exterior of the room/property could clearly use some attention.

One room the door didn’t close tightly so every car that drove past sounded like it was driving thru the room. Emergency sirens… thru the room as well. But then… a nice room, but upstairs. I try not to be picky, but when you ask for my opinion I’ll give it

The hotel was nice, it was quiet and very affordable for an overnight stay. Front desk was courteous and polite. The only small complaint was the overwhelmingly strong smell of marijuana in our room. We picked nonsmoking so try to avoid cigarette odor/smoke since we were traveling with my mother and 2 kids. Other than this, the hotel was decent.

Agent had lack of knowledge, room sheets were clean, however there was German roaches crawling on the wall. One roach flew on me while asleep. We checked out immediately!

After staying here multiple times, my per diem check was a little late. The morning desk clerk (who was well within her right to do so) made me pack up and wait in the lobby for 2.5 hours instead of allowing me to remain in my room. This was at 11:20 am, she was aware of the fact that I was staying for work. I did not return. Days Inn is now getting my business!

And the fridge in the room smelled so bad when I entered. Of course I cleaned it out when I left because I was not being further blamed for their lack of of cleaning. I also swept and mopped my own floors daily while there.

This property did not Knick in my door to clean the room for over a week. I had to wash my own linens. I begged for fresh towels. Their mattresses had nasty brown stains which I would not know except I had to change my own bed linens because they refused to. They claimed my room stink but also refused to take the trash for over a week. I had to buy my own trash bags and put my own trash outside in their receptacles because they just refused. There was a pile of dirty towels in the room because I could not get housekeeping to collect them. I swept and mopped my own floors daily. There was mold in the bathroom and roaches too. They allow people to smoke weed all over the property and when reported they do nothing. Some of us are allergic that’s why we book non smoking rooms. Then they refused to allow me to talk to management and refused to give me information when I left.

The worst stay I have had here. I ordered a non smoking room. Walk in there is ashtrays everywhere. The smoke odor is so strong i had to put a towel over my nose and mouth. This was beyond ridiculous and disgusting. There was also alot of shaving hair in the sink. The place was not clean so im scared they didnt even change the bed sheets. When you pay for a non smoking room thats what you should get. They never told me i was getting that either. And the filth. I mean that should be a given to be clean.

This property is not safe at all. It gives dangerous atmosphere vibes, and the staff was not accommodating at all. It is very chesp if your down on money, but you should only expect to get what you pay for. They have roaches as well. I dont recommend this property to stay in.

Not a bad place to stay. Beds are comfortably, rooms are clean & bug free. Shower has good water pressure. Rooms are very dated but adequate. My biggest complaint is that they want to upcharge for a refrigerator or a microwave. Nowhere was I able to find this mentioned.

This is a very nice motel. The rooms are modern and very clean. The internet connection is the best I have ever had at a motel or hotel. The housekeeping staff is very nice and friendly and really do a superb job. I enjoyed being near many restaurants as well.

Last two stays reserved king accessible. Confirmed by telephone with front desk 2days before arrival, then when got there room not available and would have to talk to mgr ( they did it four days straight last visit). Red Roof Inn next time .

Roaches and the rooms are not furnished as advertised. Rooms do not have microwaves and refrigerators. There were numerous bugs in the room and they do allow people with large dogs, so be weary.

Hotel lost power because of storm. They charged me. 60$ to stay with no power. Then the next morning still no power they asked all guest to leave. I told them I had no transportation no where in the area to go. They came back to room and said they would change me 89.99 plus tax to stay ( still no power) so I packed up and called a ride 45 min away! While waiting I was standing outside of room they asked the maid to come ask me to put all my stuff outside so they could shut the door! Just wow! Unbelievable

First there was no hot water and the a/c in my room was not cooling the room but what made me leave and go somewhere else was I didn’t trust that my truck wouldn’t be messed with outside there was a lot of activities going on outside so I just took my loss and left

They had roaches in the room. One was in the bed with my baby. Their housekeeping is not up to par. They could do better. The pool was nice and clean but it closes at 8pm. During the summertime that sucks. I believe people live here so its a community of the same people. The ONLY reason I give 2 stars is because of the convenience.

All my belongings were moved out of my room, due to incompetent people, apparently the guy who checked me in did it wrong when switching me room because the one they gave me was a smokingroom when i specifically booked non smoking , but i did overhear the manager explaining to him over the phone how to do it so not sure why it wasnt done right. Apparently when i was at work they assigned my room to someone else, so they took it upon themselves to take my stuff out since they didn't know who i was, wasnt till i got back after a 12hr shift and warm dinner that i found out i was locked out, now i had to wait and move my stuff back into another room, my food got cold and i was so tired didn't get to sleep early till i was settled in

The exterior and parking areas were outdated and cramped. But pool was nice! The staff was great! The room was clean and comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay as a comfortable place to bathe and sleep.

Stayed here on a drive across the country. It was a nice, modern room and clean bed at a great price. It worked out well to shower and sleep.

To got very upset on hot the Maintaince man addressed me in front of my 9 year old about our mini dush hound dog me my daughter was only one in pool I never put dog in I had her tied under table and he came over to me screaming being very unprofessional telling me I am being like all the rest and have my dog in water called me a liar I told him it was wet there from me and daughter getting out the pool was very very rude and he called manger because I asked him to she explained the rule and I tied my dog on outside and about 20 min and was harassing my daughter in Spanish over us having 2 drinks with kids on and no mess. I understand there are rules but he was so rude and I had issues when I wanted to extend my stay phones connection was so bad we couldn’t even talk they kept calling and telling me I needed to come check in but the entire time I told the lady I was extending it. I had been online with yall for over 30 min just so much extra inconvenience I was so far from office and ice machine I had my hotel key stolen from a another residence and cops and ambulance here just a scary stay thought it would have got better but worst I had to do my own house keeping and they acting like it was a crime to ask for my stuff

The location was not that great but it is right off the highway so that is convenient. Also walmart is nearby with some fast food places and a gas station. The staff person was polite and when i asked him questions he had the answers. I didnt like the location and the fact that someone kept leaving their dog locked in the room and all he did was bark starying at 6 am. He kept me awale until 9 i guess thays when he finally gave up. The only other thing i didnt like was there waant a microwave in the room but other then that it was ok.

I was told that I had a balance on my account which I didn’t understand and I was trying to get an understanding as to why, because I reserved online. The young lady Ashley that was trying to help me was extremely nice and attempted to call him to help. He was yelling and screaming and said “If you don’t pay the balance you can get your stuff and go” I was blown away!!! I’ve never seen a manager of a hotel establishment act as rudely and disrespectfully as this. I asked to speak to him again and he declined…. The next day, I tried to get clarity on what the $65 charge was for and the next attendant told me the same thing….”if you don’t pay the fee, you can get your stuff and go “ THE AUDACITY OF THESE PEOPLE!!! I was outraged!!!! I paid the money so that I didn’t have to deal with them any longer, Completed my stay….I did not extend although I needed to and booked at a better and nicer hotel. I WILL NEVER RETURN THERE!!! And Omar is over 2 of the Motel 6’s I can’t believe he’s a manager/owner he cares nothing about the customers!!!!!! Extremely Selfish and Self righteous.

Yes apparently I was placed on the DNR list for motel 6 from a previous stay that I was never contacted about any damage which I would have taken care of or reservation wasn't ready the desk attendant was rude I may have been rude back the next day my key didn't work the desk attendant took care of it the TV didn't work she assisted me however no resolution was found by the hotel the next day I was kicked out because they rented to me when they weren't supposed to and said that I was asked to leave which I was not otherwise I would have left they said they refunded my non-day stays but yet I have seen nothing of the sort

I only paid $47(including tax) for this room, so I shouldn’t have been surprised that it didn’t have a refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker,. But it did have a tv. The staff was professional. The smoking rooms are 2nd floor, above the nonsmoking rooms, but the nonsmoking room smelled like cigarettes.

While there were two police vehicles posted up at one of the entrances to the property when i arrived to check in at around 8:30pm, there seemed to be good reason for that, considering the surrounding area and environment. It seemed a bit shady and i was cautious each time i left my room. The toilet didn't flush very well, but the room was clean and the a/c worked nicely. There was also a waffle house restaurant conveniently located just next which was nice. I'm not sure i would stay here in the cities.

Workers have poor customer service

These people harassed us from the very second we checked in from just walking in the restroom on you to walking through your room taking pictures of all your stuff. They have residents outside their room bbqing right in from of their doors but kept walking through our rooms talking about fire code this and fire code that. People sitting around smoking weed outside with the laws having to constantly drive through clearing out the drug addicts and dealers but these racist people were so worried about us! The worst if you are of color! Dont stay here they Dont like your money and they assume every black person sells drugs!

It needs a major face lift outside, my room was beautiful clean had a standard accessible room the bathroom was nice had a shower bench in the tub and hand grab bars everywhere in the tub/shower , the problem it was hard to keep the water in the tub , when I was done with my shower the water was all over the floor making it very slippery
