    All of the staffs were very helpful and friendly, but the management are in the process of renovating everything in that property. When we first checked in we were put in a temporary room, because the the television in that room was broken and the lights by the bed were not working.

    I requested a king size bed and the room that was giving to me was 2 queen size beeds. The hotel had roaches on the bathroom and room. They were crawing on the walls, floor and furniture. The place was also dirty, there was a noise on the building going on all night , couldn't sleep at all. No phone in the rooms to reach the front office.

    1) Waited 15 minutes to get checked in 2) First room smelled like cigarettes witch chipped wall plaster w/ no shower curtain or refrigerator 3) 2nd room had an occupant 4) 3rd and only room left had no refrigerator, no shower curtain, no towels, no pillows, no power for the TV or the bathroom. Just one light worked. Noisy neighbors throughout the stay. The room next door had barking dogs. This was the worst overnight experience I have ever had.

    I checked in and the room was cockaroach infested!!! I opened the door and they were running around the floor and walls. It was filthy beyond dirty! I didn’t even stay more than 10 mins and requested a refund. They told me I needed to call Expedia who I booked through the to cancel. I called and they approved it but informed the hotel declined to give the refund! I never stayed in the rm or nor did my bags make it inside but these greedy managers decided to keep the money knowing damn well the room was filthy, and filled with roaches! Do not ever stay here! This business needs to be shut down with how dirty and scandalous the managers are. STAY AWAY!!

    I did not stay here when I checked in I went to the room number they gave me and the door was wide open with the bathroom light on as if someone forced there way in or was already renting that room I did not feel comfortable going inside as I was alone and it was night time. I asked the front desk why it was like that I’ve never been to a hotel and got to my room and had the door wide open before me unlocking it with the card. The lady mentioned she had just started her shift and didn’t know why it was open maybe someone forced there way in she said but that was the only room she had for rent. She offered to cancel the reservation and issue me a refund I told her that would be great. She stated she had cancelled it and that I would receive my refund within 3-5 business days. I haven’t received a refund nor have I received confirmation of it being cancelled it has been marked as complete and I did not stay there I had to rent another hotel for the night since I was not able to stay there.

    It’s location ONLY! The room was ready 3hrs after check in, I had to wait. They didn’t have towels or bath curtains in restrooms. There was no fridge or microwave. And the building n rooms them selves were in bad shape. If you have kids please don’t book here. And the service was terrible I went to ask for towels and reception told me no. So when I asked for a refund they said no because I had been there an hour already. For the price of 200 a night it was horrible.

    This place is horrible. The location immediately gives you bad vibes. There was vehicles in the parking lot that looked like people were living in their cars. We went into the room and it was so dirty, paint chipping off of the walls, it smelled horrible. We requested a refund right away and booked somewhere else. Horrible place to stay

    The room had a strong cigarette smell, which made it very uncomfortable to stay in. On top of that, the light switch was broken, and the door bolt did not work properly, which raised serious safety concerns. Overall, the room and surrounding area did not feel safe or well-maintained. Because of these issues, I did not feel comfortable staying and had to book another hotel the same day. I would not recommend this property, especially for anyone prioritizing cleanliness and safety.

    The property had a lot of homeless people, and some of the people there seemed a bit sketchy. I was a little scared to leave my car when I pulled in, and everyone stopped to look at us, especially since I had my toddler with me. I didn’t feel safe, and the hotel door was very loose, and to make matters worse, the card key didn’t work. We were promised a full refund, but we’ll see if they actually keep their word.

    When I got there to check in for a room I had already reserved, I was given three different room keys and asked to check them out to see if they were clean. Two of the rooms were occupied and the other was locked. The staff promised me a refund after, which I have yet to receive. Overall, service was very unprofessional. The staff member helping me even suggested that the people in line behind me go with me to check the rooms.

    ​When I requested a move, the only available rooms were either located next to a loud, unresolved physical confrontation in the hallway or were smoking rooms. Despite booking a non-smoking room, I was forced to stay in a smoking room that smelled heavily of tobacco and had visible burn marks, as there were no other secure options. ​The property felt like an unsupervised extended-stay facility rather than a standard hotel, with residents loitering outside with personal furniture and loud arguments occurring in the middle of the night. Between the structural damage to the doors and the unauthorized person in my room at midnight, I felt completely unsafe. I have documented the damage with photos and am currently seeking a full refund through Expedia. Avoid this place if you value your safety and basic room standards.

    Absolutely Nothing and i am not one to write reviews or complaints i dont like to complain but it was just that bad that I feel the need to! . The worst part was he sent me to the room where there was a man and he claimed to be a. they had given me a room with no TV. I had to walk with all my bags to the front office to let them know and he said he gave me a discounted price which he did not. I said I would like a room with the TV and you can leave the price as is so he gives me a room with a TV but this time the TV does not work. The worst part was he sent me to the room where there was a man and he claimed to be a. maintenance worker so I got scared and walked away from the room and once the man came out, they told me I can go to the room. There was two unknown men knocking at my door at 2 AM. Also again I got woken up by people random strangers at 4 the morning.. It was the worst feeling because I was alone. I was so scared, literally shaking and scared to fall back to sleep because I didn’t know if those men were gonna come into my room. Also, the bed was super hard. You can feel the springs in your back.. there are many prostitutes and drug users all around the building if you have children definitely do not go to this place. I even had to call 911.

    The property was run down and poorly maintained. The fan in the bathroom was so loud I couldn't keep the light on more than 3 minutes. The was no microwave, cups or tissues in the room. I called when I checked.in at 10pm to inform there was only one towel, a face.towel, in the room. The front office said they would bring some in the morning. I checked out at 9:30a and never received any. The clerk at the office was totally unconcerned when I informed her about everything. Definitely would not recommend this dump.

    The place was a complete dump! My wife came in from Vegas and stayed there because we were catching a flight at long beach airport at 0500. The room was dirty and had one towel. I asked the lady at the front desk for extra, and she told me that's all the towels they had. With the individuals hanging around the property, it appears the hotel is a haven for drug dealers. I don't know how's running the place, but it needs to be reported.

    The photos give you the idea of a nice and clean room. That is not true! We booked two rooms; room #1 the dresser had one drawer half gone, only one stained bath towel, the lamp next to the bed without its shade, the ceiling had wires sticking out for an absent smoke detector, the peephole of the door was stuffed with pieces of napkins, no refrigerator and a dirty floor. Room #2 the bed cover and sheets had burned holes, toilet with a orange stain, this was changed on the second day of staying there, only one bath towel for 2 people, we requested one more at 6pm at 10pm we went again to the office and after 30 more minutes we got one; at this point we decided to buy towels from Target, uncover electric outlets and dirty floor. Outside, tiles were missing at the end of the corridor and beginning of the stairs. Only one Microwave was available in the lobby for all the guests to use and it was not cleaned regularly. I told the desk attendant about it and the woman said in an annoyed tone that she would clean it later. The Microwave stayed crusty for the entire duration and I'm sure they have yet to clean it. The owners of this establishment clearly do not care of maintaining any sort of standard of cleanliness and they should be inspected by the health department. Unfortunately, there was no option of a refund after we checked in, so please take this review as a warning and choose anywhere else but here. THE PICTURES THEY HAVE TO ADVERTISE THEMSELVES ARE FAKE NEWS!!

    The room was messy . Black hair from whoever stayed before was EVERYWHERE on the floors . Bathroom had cold water in the shower . Mold in corners . Walls were stained or had holes in them . Super dim lights . Blankets were stained . There weren't even irons or blow dryers . The only thing that worked perfectly was the outlets . The environment was very disturbing. I was so uncomfortable that I checked out the day I checked in . Feel like just because it's a cheaper option doesn't mean you treat it like it's low quality.

    The cleaning ladies were very nice The restroom was not cleaned at all. There was poop stains in the toilet. Wet towels were left in the shower. The clean towels had a ball of hair on them. The walls were very dirty. No covers on the electric outlets. TV remote didn't work. Bathtub had grime around it. It also has rust. We didn't even shower because it looked so nasty.

    The room had paint peeled,bathroom sink leaked on the floor, the bathtub was corroded,one of the lights was not working & fridge broken. The door handle would pop off.     I didn't stay. The room I booked wasn't clean....the second room i was offered wasn't clean either. The third room had roaches crawling on the bed. I canceled my booking and was supposedly refunded, but Hotels.com has yet to refund me stating they aren't able to get in contact with the hotel.     Called the hotel multiple times (5-6) to inquire about a few things started calling around 9am-11am no one picked up the call not once. At the time of check in was charged a deposit fee, there was no iron in the room had to ask for one twice, and turn it in at check out otherwise they would have charged me for it. There were not enough towels in our room and the pillows were poor quality very uncomfortable.

    There was no towels in the room. Although the room was non smoking it smelled like smoke. The lights did not work, the tv did not work, and phone was not connected and did not work. The room was not clean and deteriorated.The security locks did not work,we had to place a chair in front of the door make protect ourselves. Hotel was very poorly lit with .any broken lights and we had homeless men roaming around following guests including myself and banging on doors. Did not feel safe at all and didnt sleep because of it. Would not recommend.

    The room was absolutely terrible. I got there at 2:30am-3am paid $195.00 I checked out at 1pm 10/24/2025 the towels looked like the cleaned the floor with them stained badly so were the comforters and sheets. Thankfully I travel with my own towels,pillows and sheets. I stepped into the shower with my sandals it was so bad for a quick rinse and headed out to find a different location. I asked for a cancellation due to the state of the room the staff refused I have pictures to prove it. The room picture in expedia are not accurate to what the room looked like at all. This location should really not be here and definitely not the price I paid for. I spent less in a little town in Elko, NV and it was in a much better shape than this location. Very, very disappointed with my stay at Red Roof Inn

    The pictures look nothing like the rooms, or the how they keep the outside property. From the moment we pulled, we could already tell it was going to be a problem. Staff always had a sign up saying they would retuen in 15 minutes, and it would be longer than that. The phone didn't work in the room, the room itself was horrible. Thick chunks of hair in the shower, food in the bed under the sheets, little pellets(from what, i don't know) were stuck in the walls, in the chair, and in corners of the room on the floor. The wallpaper was falling off in the bathroom, the vent was fully exposed and thick dust covering it. They also had tissue stuck in the peep hole of the door. The outlets were falling apart. We were suppose to be there for 2 nights, we didn't even stay 24 hours because of the condition of that room. I have pictures of how nasty room 229 was. It was so unprofessional to see a child cleaning the rooms. I'm sure he was no more then 10-13 years old. I have stayed at 2 other Red Roofs and none of them looked like this one.

    Fake advertisement, The rooms smell like cigarettes, blankets had holes from the burns, walls dirty, bathroom had no mirror and tub was stained. Air vents are so dirty fills with dirt/dust. Sticky floors towels stained mold on the shower walls everything felt dirty. And to top it off. I was given a room with no key. So everytime we returned to room. We had to ask clerk. To unlock our door. Will never book again.

    The main reason why we chose this place was for the pool but when we got there it was locked. The restroom door to the room we were in wouldn’t shut correctly and there were no towels for us to use. The ceiling of the room looked like it was falling apart. Another issue was that when requesting the room I asked for a non smoking room and ended up getting one that the restroom smelled like cigarettes and the air conditioner smelled like marijuana. The outside area of the rooms were really dirty also.

    I requested a “smoke-free” room and was given a smoking room, I went back into the office immediately and they said it was non smoking, but there was no “non smoking” sign as I saw in the other rooms. The second room they gave me was also a smoking room, it smelled dirty, sheets were stained. Homeless people/druggies stay here, the area around was dirty and looked unsafe. The pictures on here look nothing like the rooms we were given. I did not stay and I am waiting on my refund. Homeless people stay here as an extended stay type of hotel.

    Checked in to the hotel and noticed that the whole surrounding area is just trash.     showed up to our room, there was no deadbolt on the door. immediately went to ask for a new room and they couldn’t give me one. decided i didn’t feel safe there so i asked for a refund. still have yet to receive a refund and it’s been over 5+ business days. room smelled of smoke even though there’s a “100% guarantee no smoking” sign. didn’t give us any toilet paper or towels. there was a shoe foot print on the wall. the bottom of the bathroom door was kicked out. literally had to barricade the door for any semblance of safety at this place.

    - There was no top lock on the door because it seemed as if someone had broken in the door before, there was a hole on the wall where the door handle had been smashed against it. - The entire room & A/C unit smelt horribly of urine and cigarettes (albeit, we were in a smoking allowed room, so the cigarette smell is understandable). - There was black mold in the bathroom around the toilet & above the shower, which is a huge safety hazard - The entire hotel room floor had a stickiness to it - The fridge turned off randomly & spoiled all of our food for the weekend - The mattress was sunken in & incredibly stained, making for an unpleasant sleep - Also, we paid for a “suite” with an “ocean view”, but I honestly believe the hotel receptionist just assigned us to any room they had available. Look, its a fairly cheap listing & I wasn’t expecting luxury, and I knew the surrounding area wasn’t the best part of Bellflower, but the rooms look nothing like the photos, the hotel lobby doesn’t even look as depicted. Both my sister & I got incredibly sick after staying here, so, I encourage you to find another listing that is more honest about their property.

    The photos shown on this property do not reflect the condition of the rooms. The first room we were put in was in disrepair and dirty. The room was not cleaned and still had trash from previous visitors. There was dirt and grime throughout the room on the floors and walls. There was a bloody looking stain in the closet. The bathroom had no towels and had stains in the sink toilet and bathtub. The walls had excessive amounts of chipped paint and the door looked like it had been kicked in and barely secured. There were also roaches under the dresser and in the corners of the room. We went back to the front desk and they wouldn't cancel the booking stating we had been there an hour. They convinced us to stay in another room at this point we had been up for quite a while from flying and were ready to be done. The second room was also dirty but in better condition. We had napped for a couple hours and when we woke up I went to use the restroom and the toilet would not flush like it was clogged. Tried getting a plunger from the front desk but they wouldn't answer the phone. Went to the front desk and the employee said they didn't have one. I told him about the toilet not working and he said there was nothing he could do about it. Took 5 days to get a refund with hotel staff refusing to answer their phone to resolve with Expedia.

    Put in a room that was in-between two families who allowed their children to play right up against our door. Hotel room was unsafe and actually hazardous. No fire alarm, no telephone, broken floor tiles, broken water fixtures. Flies everywhere, two small thin pillows and a sheet with holes, no blanket.     This place was an utter disaster. Nearly $600 for a 3-day weekend in what amounted to a hooker motel. Dirty shower, dirt and grime in the fixtures and around the room, horribly uncomfortable bed, a door that would barely shut, holes in towels, and rude staff that weren’t at the front desk half the time. The toilet and shower overflowed with water. They “fixed it” only for the issue to resurface upon next use. There were vagrants in the parking lot, domestic disputes in the room next door, and a full on police chase that ended at 3am outside my window in the parking lot with police drawing their weapons and shouting into a megaphone. DO NOT give them your money.

    I booked over a month in advance and also let the staff know i was going to check in late around 11pm. When i arrived they had to check to see if there was a room ready and or available. The room i was given looked like the door had been broken open before and a poor attempt to repair the door jamb had been made with some thin metal plates and wood screws which were visible from the outside. The shower tub had 4 areas where it was rusted on the floor and a potential hazard for cutting your foot. Where a mirror was supposed to be there was just a piece of wood where it was supposed to hang and the wall was splashed with something yellow. The air conditioning unit did not power on and the tv did not work. I then asked for another room and was told they were completely booked and it was all they had. After telling them i had booked this hotel way ahead of time and that there was no way i could comfortably sleep in that room for 2 nights without the a/c and knowing the door could potentially be opened from the outside with little effort. I was then given another room to which the a/c at least turned on, but did not cool the room only at least circulated the air. There was a hole in the wall and unpainted patches aound the room. The door at least seemed secure enough and the air circulating was enough that i didnt sweat for the night. I took it for what it was but was extremely disappointed as the pictures of the rooms looked updated and extremely well maintained. They were not.

    Property was filthy dirty, door did not lock properly, lamp was broken and had no lightbulb, bed linens were dirty, toilet seat was rusted and not attached to the toilet, carpeting was so dirty, we had to have our card key reactivated everytime we went out, rude front desk, we felt unsafe and had to place a chair by the frontdoor to secure it, air conditioner was so dirty, no ventilation in the bathroom.     This is not what it seems at all in the photos. The fridge did not work. There was no microwave. There was no phone. The sink in the bathroom was wrapped up with duck tape because it was leaking, I put my only trash can under it. No towels. Dirty towels. The beds were filthy, I had to check for bed bugs. The sheets had burns in it from cigarettes or drug utensils. Completely dirty.

    Please please please don’t waste your money here. Staff is EXTREMELY rude. I had called last week before flying in and asked if i could store my bags due to getting in so early and check in being at 3pm. The guy said yes thats not a problem just grab them when i come back to check in. My friend and I get there and the lady at the counter was very rude telling me no we don’t do that and maybe the guy that told me that was knew but she wouldn’t be allowing it. So i asked if I could possibly have an earlier check in and was immediately told no that wont be happening either. So I wait there until 3 finally check in and the room is filthy. Stains all over the wall, hole in the bathroom wall, stains all over the bed and only one lock on the door that could be easily opened from the outside of the door. The area its self is NOT safe. While waiting for check in time there were two different guys at two different times that approached me trying to get me to “kick it with him”. They wouldn’t give me a refund even though I was only there the three hours to wait to check in. Please dont waste your time staying here. Just save your money.

    Myself and a couple friends booked a room for the weekend, just to show up and be told there was no ac in the room. We went to look at the room anyways thinking we may just stay and sleep with the window open since it is California and the weather is nice. But after walking the property to our room we realized it wouldnt be safe sleeping with the window open. After looking at the room we also realized how filthy and unmaintaned it was, absolutely filthy! On top of that the shower didnt even work.     This place was so awful the guests I it booked for didn't stay for more than 2 hours. This was after they discovered the air conditioner was broke (in 95 degree weather), the sheets were dirty and the front desk made them change them themselves, the room smelled like cigarette smoke and the smoke alarm had been taped up. When they asked to be moved the front desk lady was super rude and told them there were no other rooms. So they decided to just leave and took the key to front desk and checked out.     Got there and was told the room we booked was not available since it wasnt clean (it was 11:30pm) . Was offered a different room with no discount.     The lobby was dirty, not at all welcoming. Got to our room, hoodlums every where, door had more dents like the pilice just left. Gaps all the way around the door frame, unsecure, window didnt lock was wide open when we got there. The bedspread had more stains on it , the kind of which i don't even want to know what they were. No trash cans poor cable, remodel in the bathroom looked like a blind man did it, no toiletries, freezer to fridge was frozen over enough room to fit a snicker bar. When i left, the attendant gave every excuse, and informed me they were going to knock the building down to make a parking lot, no joke. Disgusted, disallusioned, extremely disappointed.

    This is a motel for drug use, sex work and hotel vouchers. I don't say this to disrespect the patrons it if you have a family, don't stay here. The front doors are banged up like the door has been raided many times. The AC was not only physically disgusting but it smelled like wet farts coming from the walls. The bathroom looked like a cell. We left after an hour and ate the money because ain't no way. The service was fine, it is what it is when you stay here. You get what you pay for.

    There were bugs on the bed sheet, cockroaches that we had to kill. Our toilet was clogged and we told the front desk and told us they’ll be at our room in 10 minutes, well they didn’t until the next day when we had to go and tell them AGAIN if we can use a plunger we can do it ourselves. Good thing we booked 2 rooms so we were able to have one bathroom. Also one of the rooms smelled really bad, like humid. Like if there were thousands of clothes wet for days. I don’t recommend staying at this place, especially if you have kids.

    Don’t stay here!! Besides outdated, which can be dealt with; the shower was broken, the faucet leaking. When asked if needed anything, we asked for more towels after handing the dirty ones… never received any afterwards. When I asked front desk for maintenance, the maintenance worker said he’d return to fix the shower.. never returned. If I could get a refund that would be amazing but unfortunately I won’t.

    Horrible, ran down motel. Very Sketchy. No hot water during our stay. Employees do not speak English and refused to provide clean towels or an extra blanket. There is no comforter on the bed, it’s basically a sheet. Our tv remote was broken and the phone didn’t work. I had to call the front desk from my personal cell phone. No microwave in the room as advertised. No iron in the room. Horrible lighting and smell!! The AC unit inside the room is very loud and dirty, looks very disgusting and toxic.

    The property showed pictures online making it look nice. As soon as i stepped into the roo. There was a wall with a patch job done that looked as if they just threw some drywall mudding to cover it. The bathtub was clogged so water would not go down. The wall paper in the bathroom was also falling down and there was rotting wood as well. They then offered me a second room. And the lights would not even turn on.     IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE IT IS ADVERTISED ON THE WEBSITE! The room was horrible. They put us in a room in the back of the motel where it was a bunch of drug addicts staying in the rooms with kids running around. There were patches in the walls. Our ceiling had a hole in it with a plastic bag sticking out of it..ROOM 212 BY THE WAY..go see for yourself. They didn't have towels in the room for us to shower nor rags...the tub is small and stained...the heater did NOT work...overall...this shouldn't even be a running motel!

    No clean towels. Requested new ones and never brought them to me. People running around on the balcony at 2am and someone else working on their car for 2 hrs in the parking lot constantly making their car alarm go off.

    Very noisy they don’t come to clean or do anything when asked if your there more then one day u have to keep going to the desk for your key to work

    The service was very bad the TV did not work in the room somebody was playing music till 1:30 in the morning I asked the manager to come look at the TV situation he never came the people never turned off the music till 1:30 in the morning

    Please if you're reading this do not stay at this Hotel it was extremely dirty! The room smelled like old trash. The hotel app needs to take away this hotel from beign able to choose to stay here. I would give it 0 stars if i could.

    Looks run down. Does not look or feel safe. Had to have a room change due to unsafe door locks. Tv not working. Best to pay extra 30 to 40 more for a better and safer hotel.

    This hotel could use quite a few upgrades. Several outlets didn’t work, the water handle on the shower was almost impossible to use. Staff is nice and attentive.
